"Okay children, form a half circle and widen your imagination."
Alexandra begins to tell the six children about the land on the other side of the ocean. About how the weather shifts quickly and can go from clear skies and turn into a rainstorm within the matter of an hour - which Camilo shifts into his mother and uses her facial expressions for the weather changes – and about her homeland's nature with mountains and lakes. She tells them about her childhood and the rules they had to follow in school. She then continues to tell them about her horrible experience working as a cleaner in the church in her hometown, and some of the people that used to come there. Camilo tries as best as he can to shapeshift into these different people after Alexandra gives him some descriptions, and she laughs together with the children when he accidentally shifts into an old lady with a giant grey moustache and beard. Alexandra's story ends with how she got to their country by a large ship, how her parents insisted that they could handle the map and how it flew away only to land in the river that eventually brought them to their village.
"Woooow!" one of the boys says with big eyes and wide-open mouth. One of his sisters tilts her head when she speaks. "You must be maaaad at your parents." Alexandra just shakes her head.
"I'm not though." she says, and another boy jumps forward.
"Why not?!" he yells, and Alexandra sits him down gently. "Because it was my idea to travel in the first place. Of course, who wouldn't be a little bit mad for losing it, but as long as we are whole and alive there is no reason to be angry."
"I would be soooo mad!" one of the sisters suddenly yells and all of the children yells in agreement. Then, they start to play around as if they were Alexandra and her family and how they lost the map. Camilo jumps in to make it even more humorous and to be able to make fun of Alexandra a bit. She gives him a light punch on the arm and laughs. The children continue to become even wilder and begin to wrestle Camilo. He completely goes into character and shifts into Mariano, his brother-in-law, and pretends to fall to the ground in defeat.
"Oh, no! They've got me! I… I can't take much more of this, Alexandra please help this annoyingly handsome and poetic man before it's too late!" he begs and makes a gesture for her to help him.
Alexandra bursts into laughter at how overtly dramatic he plays the role and can barely look straight. She then manages to go into character as well and tries to be as dramatic as him. She falls to her knees and puts her hand on her forehead.
"Oh Camilo, my beloved poetic prince, they are too powerful for me! I will make sure your memory will never be lost!" The children continue to climb on top of him until he is covered with them.
"Alexandra…" he says and his hand falls to the floor as if the children had just finished him off. The oldest boy stands up and puts one of his feet on Camilo, and raises a fist in the air.
"We did it! We defeated the shapeshifter!" he yells and his siblings cheer.
"Ha! Got ya!" Camilo laughs and shifts back into himself right before he grabs three of the children. They all laugh, and the rest of the day continues basically the same way.
In one moment later in the day, Alexandra looks at Camilo as he changes form to make the children laugh, and she gives a gentle smile before getting snapped back to reality by one of the girls. Camilo looks at Alexandra almost right after, smiling and laughing with the children, and it's like the whole world slows down for a few seconds. This makes it impossible for him to not smile for himself.
A few hours turned out to be the entire day, but to Camilo and Alexandra it only felt like a few moments. They are sitting on the floor with the children half asleep on her legs when the door opens, and the parents enter the house. This wakes the children and they run up to them, yelling about how fun they've had.
"What's this?" the mother says when she sees Alexandra. The father's smile disappears and turns into a concerned face. "What is the foreigner doing here?" he says and Alexandra stands still, not knowing what to say, so Camilo talks instead.
"She's been helping me with the kids, we've had a blast wouldn't you say?" He looks down on the children who all smile and look up at their parents.
"He's right!" a boy says and is followed by his brother "Yeah!"
"She told us about her land on the other side of the ocean and…!" one of the girls begins but is cut off by her sister. "And she and Camilo made a big play for us and we thought that we defeated the big prince but it was all a trick and he got some of us and she got the rest and…!"
"It was so fun!" a brother finishes, and Alexandra and Camilo laugh at them. The parents first look at each other and then at their children with relieved smiles on their faces.
"Wow sounds like you've had an exciting day." the mother says as she lifts one of boys and they all yell in agreement. The father turns to Alexandra and nods apologetically.
"We're sorry if we sounded worried. It seems we jumped to conclusions way too quickly."
Alexandra just smiles at him, "It's okay, I understand".
"Camilo, say hi to your family for us? We have to take these little creatures to bed" the mother says and pinches the boy's cheek which he responds with laughter. Camilo makes a fun salute and turns to the door. "Will do!" he says and waves for Alexandra to come along. On the way out, Alexandra turns around and waves at the children who all waves back.
