Ah, multiverse! A concept that until now, is still a concept. However, several movie adaptations have existed throughout the time on this multiverse concept, and it's just right if DuckTales also have one for itself! The Ramrod is just the perfect plot device to do that, and I finally get to do it!
Just to be clear, I will incorporate several adaptations of time, space and reality from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) while pertaining existing canon storyline of DuckTales.
And if anyone is questioning if I have moved on from the Duckburg's Downfall rewrite version, no, I just ran out of ideas. Which is why this exists.
Now, without further ado...

Backstory:
Earth-DT44 is an alternate reality that separates from the canon DuckTales universe (specified as Earth-DT1) which experiences a surge of abnormal events after the Ramrod explosion on multiple universes. In an unexpected turn of events, a game night changes everything for Scrooge McDuck and his family.

"TAURUS BULBA BEHIND BARS FOR DAMAGING REALITY, POSSIBLY FACING DEATH SENTENCE" was the news that just came in.

"This maniac is nuts. What the hell was he thinking?" Dewey asked. "He deserves it to be honest."

No one talked about it however. In the past few weeks a lot of anomalies happened in a strange pattern on a daily basis had threatened not just Duckburg but the entire world. Governments were having emergency talks about possible threats and enforced an international ban on possessing modification machines that can manipulate time, space and/or reality. This made Gyro unable to pursue further on his Time-Tub, and the kids no longer able to discover past treasures and mysteries.

Worse, it looked like something was tearing the reality apart. The Ramrod, although destroyed, had lasting effects that could continue approximately 20 years to come - which included constant bushfires, disasters and earthquakes. Warnings were made constantly.

"LADS, LASSES, GAME NIGHT!" Scrooge screamed out to the living room.

The children, Della and Donald weren't surprised. After all the troubles Scrooge had for all the troubles during adventures, a little game night would probably change his mood. However, Mrs. Beakley wasn't having it.

"Mr. McDuck, I do not-"

"Beakley, the children need something." Scrooge interrupted. "All the unusual stuff happening with this world isn't their fault, so this is the least I can do."

"Now, go choose your partner! I'm not going to wait for long."

Lena and Violet were confused, and they turned over to Webby. "So basically we're doing a game night instead of a scheduled adventure to Peking, something's up over there too." Webby explained. "And you get to choose your partner to play with!"

"Vi, you wanna choose someone else other than me?" Lena asked. "It'll be fun, and also more competitive."

"Sure thing, sis. I'm gonna go ahead and choose Webby, ha!" Violet replied and immediately snagged Webby away.

Scrooge and Donald once again formed their pact (with the usual "if you don't win I'll remove you from the will" shill), while Della decided she would partner with Mrs. Beakley. Launchpad, naturally friends with Dewey, picked him, while Duckworth - surprisingly - reluctantly chose Huey as his partner (after a very persuasive speech from Huey that he will do something for him in return).

"I see that you don't have a partner, Lena." Louie said. "Would you like to?"

"Sure, I guess."

They each made a smirk. These two were going to pull some cons out on this game night.

oOo

"First game is charades." Mrs. Beakley said. "Mr. McDuck and Donald Duck, would you two please begin your turn."

Scrooge was ready for this. This was easily the game he never lost in his entire game night career.

"You have 30 seconds to do as much imitations of what is written on the paper as you can. New contestants, please listen, as I will not repeat this again."

"Ready? 3... 2... 1... Begin!" Mrs. Beakley began the turn.

Unsurprisingly, Scrooge managed to guess almost every move Donald made.

"Mermaid!"

"Octopus!"

"Super secret spy on a mission!"

"The Sky Pirates!"

"The cursed kraken!"

"Wow, I'm pretty surprised that the terms Uncle Donald had was quite normal, the last game was like weird shenanigans." Dewey commented.

"Time!" Mrs. Beakley said.

"It was that old crazy man Zeus! How on earth did you get a cursed kraken?" Donald yelled.

"Your part at the end was so terrible I can't even guess! You acted like a kraken there!" Scrooge replied.

"Mr. McDuck and Donald scored 42 on their turn." Mrs. Beakley concluded the turn. "Now can you two sit down or I'll disqualify both!"

They reluctantly sat down, still not amused on the result.

Della and Mrs. Beakley bonded surprisingly well and they scored 25. Launchpad... being Launchpad, and Dewey scored nothing out of charades. Lena and Louie made sure they guessed all of the moves right before the act, which made their score 41. Duckworth made a great attempt on imitating what it was written, which gave both him and Huey 36.

"And now, for the final turn, Webbigail Vanderquack and Violet Sabrewing."

"You got this Vi." Webby cheered Violet up, and she nodded, knowing they would succeed.

"Ready? 3... 2... 1... Begin!"

"Jumping in the pool!"

"Sunbathing!"

"Running away from a gigantic kraken!"

"Donald, THAT'S how you do a kraken." Scrooge argued.

"Uncle Scrooge, please stop."

"Explosion on Donald's houseboat!"

"How is that a thing-" Donald retorted.

"Time! Webbigail and Violet scored 45 points, defeating the defending champions of this game for the first time!" Mrs. Beakley said, smiling. "Let's move on to the second game."

Scrooge, as expected, was enraged. Both Lena and Louie weren't feeling good about the atmosphere, and so do everyone else.

"Oops, I shouldn't have score more than Uncle Scrooge..." Webby said.

"Oh, lass, don't you worry about it." Scrooge clenched his teeth as he was speaking. "I'm sure the second game will be more competitive. And Donald, don't you dare lose this time."

oOo

"Hey, Lena, check this out."

"Louie, what's that-"

"I think it's the Time-Twister." Louie replied. "But it looks like... it's glitching? I have no idea why that happened."

"Oh, Green, I advise you not to tamper with it. That usually means bad deeds happening." Lena said.

"I'll just keep it, just for sure."

Louie slipped the Time-Twister to his pocket without any doubt on what was going to happen next.

It was now the second game, Jenga. The rules were simple on this one - you must prevent the building made out of wooden blocks from collapsing while also take out at least a block and put it to the top of the building.

"We will have three buildings, and each will have two teams against each other." Mrs. Beakley explained. "The first section will be Mr. McDuck and Donald against Webbigail and Violet, the second section will be Launchpad and Dewey against Lena and Louie, while the third section will be me and Della against Duckworth and Huey."

"When you're all ready to go, please commence at will on your own section for this game."

All three sections began. The second section saw the quickest win ever as Dewey miscalculated his move and made the building teared down on his third move. The third section ended relatively slow as the thirteenth move was made by Della, which she chose the wrong block and the building also collapsed. The first section saw the most intense game ever as it had been the twenty-fifth move on the tower. None of them were backing down.

"This block to the left..."

"Take the right one down there, Webby!"

"Uncle Scrooge, it's the middle block! Take it or we'll lose!"

"This should be it..."

It was the fifty-sixth move in the game - which would be impossible - and still the building stood firmly. However, it was starting to lose balance a little bit.

Scrooge and Donald just finished their turn with another block removed. The tower looked like it was about to collapse - but surprisingly enough, they managed to get away with it.

"Alright, it's our turn now." Webby said, picking a block.

The block to the right was the last straw for the tower. "First section, after fifty-seven moves from both sides, ended with a narrow win from Mr. McDuck and Donald." Mrs. Beakley concluded.

"Be glad we won this time, lad." Scrooge grunted to Donald.

"Fine Uncle Scrooge, I'll just remove you from the will if we don't win and again and again."

"I think we did good on this one, Webby." Violet said.

"Yeah, we did give them a hard time." Webby replied. "Let's go to the next game!"

Several more games were played, and it was now either a Webby and Violet win or a Scrooge and Donald win. They were tied each time they played - a final game must commence to decide the game night winner.

"The final game of the challenge-" Scrooge began.

"Mr. McDuck, we are not going to use Scroogeopoly this time." Mrs. Beakley interrupted. "Gyropuddlians are still there and as far as I know, the game is rigged."

"Oh, for crying out loud- fine." Scrooge gave in reluctantly. "What are we going to play then?"

Huey came in, announcing the game instead. "The Number 1 Family Card Game... UNO!"

He pulled out a deck of cards and started explaining the rules. "Each player gets 7 cards randomly from this deck of cards, with a chance of getting an action card (Skip, Reverse, Draw Two) and/or Wild card or Wild Draw 4. On your turn, you must play one card matching the discard in color, number, or symbol; play a Wild card, or a playable Wild Draw Four card with certain restrictions; draw the top card from the deck, then play it if possible. To keep things simple, instead of who gets 500 points first wins, the first person to discard all their cards in addition to say UNO before anyone else does for them wins."

"Is this clear?" Huey asked. Everyone nodded.

Huey started to distribute 7 cards to each contestants. "When you're ready, please begin. Youngest player goes first."

Needless to say, the game was intense. Scrooge got a Wild Draw 4 by Webby when he got his last card left, while Donald stroke down by delivering a double Draw Two on Violet, which prompted both possible winners to redo the whole process. It was very breathtaking, and it looked like Webby and Violet was about to win. But then...

"Uh, guys?" Louie asked, confused about what was happening to himself. "What's happening to me?"

"Louie, get that Time-Twister away!" Lena urged.

Louie pulled out of his pocket the same glitched Time-Twister and threw it to the ground. That didn't exactly go well for him or anyone in the dining room.

"Lad, where did you find this?" Scrooge asked, suspicious on Louie's intention.

"Uncle Scrooge, I have absolutely no idea." Louie replied, and Scrooge could see that Louie was telling the truth.

He was absolutely horrified at what was happening. Then, out of nowhere, Gyro busted the door in.

"Mr. McDuck, I have this new invention I wanted to talk-"

But Gyro couldn't finish presenting his invention as the Time-Twister created a portal and slowly absorbing Louie.

"Green nephew!" Gyro exclaimed.

"Lads, lasses, we don't have time, we have to go now!" Scrooge shouted, and jumped on the portal.

Everyone soon followed suit. Gyro had no idea what was happening and he also jumped straight onto it.

oOo

"Lad," Scrooge asked Huey, "this is Duckburg, right?"

"It certainly looks like it Uncle Scrooge." Huey replied.

"Oh, Louie, thank god you're fine!" Donald and Della said and hugged Louie.

"Relax, Mum, Uncle Donald, it's just us outside of Duckburg." Louie said. "We're gonna be just fine."

"Uh, I don't think so, green nephew." Gyro replied. "According to my calculation on the time and space of our location..."

"What is it then, Gyro?" Scrooge asked.

"We're back in time." Gyro answered.

Everyone just gasped. "Green nephew, did anything act up on the Time-Twister? It couldn't just bring us back in time, it only freezes time as far as I know about it."

Louie whimpered, saying it was glitched when he found it.

"Oh no." Gyro gasped. "We're not just only back in time, we're in a different reality!"

"WHAT?" Everyone was taken aback.

"Have none of you heard about the concept of a multiverse?" Gyro asked, unamused.

Everyone shook their head. "Basically, the multiverse is a group of multiple universes, and they all share the same elements with what a universe has."

"So, what you're saying is... we just travelled to a different universe?" Lena asked.

"Precisely," Gyro replied, "Miss..."

"Lena. Lena Sabrewing."

"Yes, Miss Lena, you are absolutely correct." Gyro added. "Mr. McDuck, as I know about the multiverse more, I suggested you let me-"

"Lads, lasses," Scrooge interrupted. "We are in a new adventure. Get ready!"

"Or you can just think that it is a regular adventure. Fine Mr. McDuck."

They soon realised that they couldn't use their own identity to just wandering in Duckburg - it would have consequential effects to their own lives. Huey proceeded to devise on a disguise plan - which would require... Lena's magic.

"I'm sorry, Lena, but we don't have suitable materials to do this." Huey said. "Please help us."

"Lass, we really have no choice." Scrooge added.

Lena sighed, and used her magic to alter everyone's appearance with little changes to the face, but that was enough.

"Miss Lena, why do I look like a mad scientist?" Gyro complained.

"First, just call me Lena, second, don't complain, it's just a disguise." Lena added.

"Why do I look like that time when I was in that paranormal TV prison, lass?" Scrooge asked.

"I don't know." Lena shrugged. "It's just magic."

Everyone soon complained about their disguise, but in the end, they reluctantly agreed. Lena took her sorceress form while Violet wore a glass and changed her hairstyle.

"I suggested that we find a place to stay." Huey spoke out. "It's not safe wandering outside and gaining attention in this weird paradox."

"Hat nephew, it's not-" Gyro argued.

"Just follow the lad's plan, will you?" Scrooge interrupted.

"Where's Duckworth?" Webby asked.

"I don't think he can get here with us." Lena replied. "At least he's protecting the house, right?"

They proceeded to find a hostel nearby, and Scrooge proceeded to come to the reception office.

"Hello, sir," the receptionist said, "how may I help you today?"

"I'm looking to stay here for a week." Scrooge said.

"Very well, sir. Can I please have your full name?"

"It is Scr-" Scrooge began, but was hissed by everyone, who told him to not reveal his true identity.

"Yes?" The receptionist asked again.

"Scr- Samuel Duckfaster." Scrooge thought of the name that came in his mind.

"Mr. Samuel Duckfaster." The receptionist said, and wrote it down on her list.

"And just to be clear, you're going with ten other people, right?"

"Indeed." Scrooge was now faking his accent to sound like an American, and the result was underwhelming.

"We only have three beds for each room, so I would need three more people from your family to register your name." The receptionist said, after typing the information down.

"Daniel, Danielle, Gabriel, please come here." Scrooge said, nodding as a sign for Donald, Della and Gyro to come to the receptionist office respectively.

After a long time, they finally registered four rooms: 201, 202, 203 and 204. All the rooms were pretty comfortable and had nice viewing.

"Enjoy your stay." The receptionist said.

oOo

Morning came by and it was now the afternoon.

"We're been here for 5 hours and it already felt weird." Huey said.

"Sure does, Hubert." Louie replied. "It isn't our reality."

"Relax, guys." Dewey said. "It's just another normal adventure, like Scrooge said.

"This isn't normal, Dewey. It's the weird funky TV show we got trapped in all over again!" Huey freaked out.

"Huey, calm down. You're not being sensical here." Louie said.

Suddenly, the door got burst open - Violet and Webby went in with a sweaty Lena.

"Lena?!" The triplet exclaimed. "What in the world happened to you?"

"Hubert, do you remember what Gyro said about we're back in time in a different reality?" Violet urged.

"Well, yes-" Huey began.

"This is clearly before the Shadow War, which means-" Violet interrupted.

"-MAGICA DE SPELL IS STILL HERE!" The triplet realised.

"I thought- when I was finally free, the connection would dry off-" Lena panted. "But it looks like... I got connected with... myself."

"Oh no, that's bad." Louie said. "Very, very bad."

"Webby, Vi, what do you both say?" Dewey said. "Time to spy on the Money Bin."

"We're in." Webby and Violet replied.

"Great, time to set a course to the Money Bin tonight then." Huey said. "Get all your gears, disguise and other materials ready."

Night time came, and as they were about to get ready, Webby silently asked Lena to keep this a secret. Lena agreed.

The gang charted the course to the Money Bin, and after a long time, they finally got there.

"Alright, Vi, Webby, you'll both go to the bridge and watch anyone coming through the Money Bin. Me, Dewey and Louie will sneak in to the Money Bin and check on the interior." Huey instructed. "Each of us have an earpiece connected to each other - courtesy to Gyro - so please notify when you see something weird or unusual. Is this clear?"

They nodded, and each began to do their respective job. Huey went on to check the Money Bin with Dewey, while Louie guarded the outside of the Vault to make sure no one came by. As Huey and Dewey were about to jump, the earpiece started to ring, and Webby's voice was heard.

"Huey, Dewey, Louie, get out of the Money Bin!" Webby yelled. "Your own counterparts are approaching to have a swim there! Meet us outside the bridge immediately!"

"Why? We can just hide." Dewey asked.

"Don't you remember what happened to you?" Webby retorted.

The triplet realised and immediately went down the stairs. Soon they met Webby and Violet.

"Is this when we had like the Money Shark thing?" Dewey asked.

"Yes, Lena told me that she unleashed it under Magica's order." Webby replied, but in a low voice. "She said she regretted doing that to any of you, it was horrible to her."

"It's fine, she's on the good side now." Dewey said.

Just then, they could hear a distant scream on the Money Bin.

"Ah, phooey."

The universe that Scrooge and his family travelled through is based on the original arc that I made for Duckburg's Downfall! I couldn't just end the whole arc despite massive plot holes and extremely poor writing as it went on. Therefore, I will choose to not reveal the whole original arc as it will ruin the element of surprise. So, no, this will not be spoilers to anything related to the rewrite version of Duckburg's Downfall, however minor spoilers may occur on Chapter 1, 2 and 3, so I advise you to read those first three chapters then come back to enjoy Chapter 2 once it got published.
Anyways, this will be a serious and concise story instead of me trying to post as soon as possible. The concept of multiverse is just amazing and I can't wait to write even more multiversal stories for DuckTales! Stay tuned for the next chapter, and I'll see you there.
