EPILOGUE
Artemis rushed to Confession before Mass, making it just on time. He was sorry he'd spent his Christmas Eve holding somebody hostage. He no longer thought of faeries as animals to be hunted, but friends with dignity. Although faeries are intelligent beings, their minds work differently than human minds, and they don't dwell on the past very long. Soon the faeries forgot his crimes, and Holly returned to Fowl Manor for a visit. She befriended the Fowls, and it became a tradition that they would celebrate every St. Patrick's Day together at Ed's Bakery and Diner. Artemis apologized to the healer faerie in the alley who had given him her forgiveness, and they ate mint ice cream cones given to them by a real waiter and watched the sun go down under the green-blue sky.
