Golden light faded from the area, casting shadows around odd bits of metal. Faintly, the man standing had a thought of sitting, of resting, but as he tried to move, and anguish of the loss of his world, his family, was too much, the mental feedback causing him to collapse as a second golden light appeared opposite of him.

A brunette opened her eyes, blinking the golden light away with a frown. "I don't think I've ever seen you so dark," she murmured, reaching forward and touching a bit of the control panel. "Where is he then?"

A humming filled the air, and she walked her way around the console, inhaling sharply at the sight of the unconscious man in ragged clothes. As she stepped back, a thin wisp of gold left his lips, making her frown.

"So this is it huh Doctor?" She murmured, once again moving towards him. "The beginning of Forever… the starting line of our one-sided race."

She grabbed his shoulders and began to drag him down the halls, stopping at a dark door with golden circles carved into it. In it was a bedroom, seemingly darker than the room they had just left. At the foot were a spare outfit, the boots and leather jacket making the woman grin.

Light began showing again, making her sigh as she turned her hand over to see her veins not blue, but glowing gold. "So soon?' she murmured before leaning down to whisper in the Doctor's ear. "Henrik's, London, March 24th, 2005, roughly 8:42 pm. Save us in the basement Spaceman."

With those words, she vanished into a cloud of gold dust, much like what the Doctor was breathing out.
