MUSUTAFU SUBURBS
"Is this the part where we run?"
"That'll make him more suspicious towards us, idiot."
"Okay, o' wise one. Then, tell me what's a better plan than high tailing it?"
"I don't freaking know! These kinds of things happen way too fast for me!"
Inside a dark tunnel, two teenagers were furiously whispering to each other on their next course of action.
In front of them was an unconscious Izuku Midoriya, laying on the cold ground with some sludge on his Gakuran uniform.
In front of the unconscious kid was All Might himself, as the blonde superhero was making his way towards Akira and Miko all the while giving a hearty laugh of joy.
He had found two youngsters who have a lot of potential in them. Such an opportunity, he must simply get to know these two since this is actually his first day in Musustafu City.
"Oh crap, Miko! He's coming! He's coming right here?! W-Why is he laughing like that?!"
"Get a grip of yourself! You're starting to sound like a villain who just escaped from Tartarus!"
This is a drastic situation that requires the brains of a master escapist, the likes of the internet celebrity Gentle Criminal and La Brava could pull off within a snap of a finger.
Unfortunately, they were not those two celebrities. They were merely two 14-year-old middle schoolers, who have a knack for getting themselves into sticky situations such as this.
"You know what, screw it! Just act natural!"
"...Define natural."
"Just be you, dammit!"
Miko discreetly suggested to the sweating teen beside her. It was the only thing she could think of on the spot.
Their whisperings were then suddenly put to a halt as All Might was now talking to them with a bright, iconic smile he always used.
"Hello, fellow citizens! I'm sorry for asking this, but are you two perhaps the ones who are responsible for saving this young man's life?" He asked them both this question while crouching down to check on Izuku's condition.
Inside the scatterbrained mind of Akira Matsuzaki, rolled the dusty gears of his machinations. A contemplation between two choices he had in mind that could steer how this rodeo could go.
"Okay, okay... it's big brain time! If I lie to him, he's gonna push the topic even further and I suck at lying. If I tell the truth, then I can kiss my sweet, lazy ass life goodbye and be paraded with constant paparazzi... I am not cut out for this kind of shit-"
"Um... young man? Are you with us right now?"
As Akira was contemplating his choices, in which he was just standing there and not answering All Might, Miko had taken the initiative to force Akira in making one...
By discreetly stomping his toes...
A jolt of electricity surged all over the boy's nervous system, as he lets out a yelp of shock by the stomping of Miko along with his answer.
"YEE- eahhhhhh~... w-we kinda d-did~" he merely mumbled out to the blonde man.
Deep inside of Akira's mind though:
"MIKO, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!"
A crocodile tear had been let out by him, looking at the smiling girl beside him who was the same as him, sweating off beads out of nervousness.
His pinky toe was swollen inside his sneakers by his best friend's stomps. Akira was supposedly said to be immune to all kinds of damage, or so he thought...
A bomb exploding directly at him? No problem, except for his clothes. A piano dropping on his head? That's just Tuesdays for the kid.
However, it seems like one of the individuals who could actually negate this effect was Miko Hoshiruke herself.
He, along with Miko had no idea how this works in the first place. The best that the prodigy could say about Akira's predicaments is that the world works in mysterious ways...
Mysterious events and beings that were often caused by both of them wherever they go...
Hearing Akira surprisingly telling the truth out of instincts, Miko had followed up with her comment on it.
"W-well... technically he kinda did the heavy work. I was just um... r-redirecting the air pressure from his punch towards slimy there with my uhh... Quirk... yeah..."
She was practically lying out from her ass at this point. So much for acting natural...
However, she does indeed have a point considering she could actually do that if given the fact Akira was already overpowered, to begin with. In essence, Miko didn't have to do it at that moment...
They do say that the most believable lies have a sliver of truth somewhere between the lines...
The reason why she's fibbing to All Might of all people is...
If she puts the credit all on Akira, then it is a guarantee that she won't hear the end of his nagging on the way home.
And so, the prodigy decided that sharing the credit would be the best course of action in this situation. She didn't like lying to someone, but it's inevitable to keep being truthful at all times...
It would take a miracle for this half-assed white lie to make it through him-
"Hahahaha! My goodness, if that is the case, then that's one mighty teamwork both of you did! The two of you have the makings to be wonderful heroes in the future!"
"HE ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT?! HOLY CRAPL, JUST HOW?!" Miko could not believe it. Her white lie had managed to make it through All Might.
Akira however was thinking something else about what the man just said to them.
"...Did he just made a pun?"
While the two teenagers were taking in the situation that was turned from a suspenseful thriller flick into somewhat a weird, romcom, comedic event...
All Might was bemusing to himself about the two teens in front of him.
"Maybe this young man is not the one I'm looking for... However, both of them had shown me great promise just now. Perhaps getting acquainted with these two youngsters could be a good start here."
"Who's to say I can't have multiple candidates for One for All..."
All Might then continued to the duo in front of him while taking out what seems to be two bottles of Torrents Cola from his grocery bag.
"Anyways, sorry 'bout getting the two of you caught up in my villain fighting. I don't usually make mistakes like this, but I was in high spirits on my day off in a new place."
Another laugh he had let off from his silly mistake. Then, he threw a bottle of cola towards Akira.
"Here. A token of appreciation for your hard work just now! Drink it up, though. I need that bottle to contain the villain splattered around here."
Akira caught the bottle in his hands as he eyed it. He gave the bottle to Miko, however.
"Here, Miko."
"Really?" she raised an inquisitive eyebrow at him.
"I haven't eaten yet. I'll get gastric if I drink this now."
"Sweet~. Your loss, buddy." She now uncaps the bottle in her hands as she drank all the sugary contents in one go.
"Mmm~ That's the good stuff right there~"
Letting off a content sigh from the relishing liquid running in her mouth. She then levitates the bottle back to All Might with her quirk, as the man catches the plastic bottle with an impressed look.
"Telekinesis, huh? A gifted quirk you have there, I might say..." All Might compliments the quirk displayed by Miko, only for her to shake her hands dismissively for getting the wrong idea.
"A-Actually, it's polarity, Mr All Might, sir. Telekinesis is just a part of that."
This grew a confused look on Akira's face, as he asked her.
"Wait... I thought your quirk supposed to be attracting metals and stuff?"
A grumble was let out from Miko by this. He forgot what she was capable of with her Quirk.
"That's the general take everyone thinks on my Quirk, Akira. Polarity can be used to alter the movement of electricity, magnetism and electronic molecules in the air." She re-explained to her best friend about her abilities.
"...Then how come you can move that bottle, which is plastic?" He was growing more confused by the complexity of her Quirk.
"By using the force, duh..." she snarked at him, waving her hand around as if she was a Jedi Master.
For a socially inept guy like Akira, he seems to be able to catch on Miko's sarcasm, growing a tick mark on his forehead by this mocking notion.
In response to this, Miko lightly punched his shoulder with a cheeky smile. "Relax, I'm just messing with ya, jeez..."
"I basically imagined myself an invisible hand made of electronic molecules to lift things. It took me half a year to get it right if you're asking." She continued to explain to him.
"Basically every living thing has a bit of those three elements combined, and I can manipulate that to my own needs. But, I'm still working on the electrical factor. Those sparkly things are nasty to control."
She shivered on this fact, remembering one time where she tried to reroute the electrical current in the circuit breaker to jumpstart her house during a blackout, only for her to get a shock of her life by a slight miscalculation of her readings.
It's all because she accidentally became the circuit breaker of the power system, by changing the electric current from Alternating Current (AC) to a Direct Current (DC), and Miko was at the receiving end of it.
Granted, she was only twelve at that time... So she was basically 'Leeroy Jenkinsing' it during that shocking event.
A smoky afro and a trip to the local clinic was the aftermath for Miko Hoshiruke.
"Metals, however, are child's play for me at least." she proudly states that fact. At least she has a full grasp of one of those elements.
A nervous thought had occurred on Akira's head. "Hold up... If we're going by metal... does blood-"
"That's a different kind of metal... For god's sake, I'm not that overpowered, man. I told you this before many times, didn't I?" she deadpanned at the boy. Bloodbending is not on her resume of Quirk usage.
"I swear, you always keep forgetting things." she crossed her arms at him with a pout, forgetting the fact that a professional hero was in front of her at the moment.
These two share the same brain cell at some points. This is one of them...
Nevertheless, All Might was astounded upon hearing Miko's Quirk, raising an eyebrow while giving his own comment about it.
"That's... certainly quite the Quirk you have there, young miss. I could say for a fact that there's a lot of potential waiting for you if you keep training."
"It's nothing, really. Besides, I can only do one thing at a time for now. Multitasking takes a toll on me, especially big objects." She shrugs off the Number One Hero's compliment at her.
There's a lot of things that Miko needs to learn before she could be considered a master in her craft.
Also, she was not the one to gloat on her own Quirk. You can thank Akira for her humbling attitude.
"Is that so..." He lets off a chuckle from Miko's character. She didn't let her powers get over her head. It was a good thing, as All Might had thought to himself...
Just then, these two were practically shaking in their boots by his sudden appearance alone. Now, though... it was as if they were talking to someone they knew for a long time in their lives.
"What an interesting duo..." This city might prove to be intriguing for All Might, after all.
"Very well then. Anyways, if I may ask again... Can I have your names, if that's not a problem to you two?" The Number One Hero inquired to both teenagers.
The two teenagers look at each other for a moment, before Akira lets out a shrug of his shoulders by this. He seems cool with it now, since he thought his cover was still intact.
The girl of the two spoke at their behest. "I-I'm Miko. Hoshiruke Miko."
She then pulls Akira by the arm with a beaming smile. "This guy right over here is Matsuzaki Akira. We're really a big fan of yours and right now, we're just making our way home, right Aki-Chan? "
"Y-Yeah..."
He raised an arm, joining in Miko's enthusiasm half-heartedly.
"Ah! Living in the same neighbourhood, I see... I take it that the two of you are childhood friends, isn't that right Young Hoshiruke?"
"Yup!"
Akira was taken aback by the professional hero's smart deduction. "H-How did you know, All Might?"
Another guffaw was let out by him as he answered back.
"Hahaha... Seeing how close the two of you are, I might be surprised that you two had met during your middle school years. Obviously, the two of you go way back with each other, am I right?"
"...I guess that makes sense." Akira put a hand on his chin, contemplating All Might's words as if it was some great wisdom he had told him.
"Don't mind him, All Might. He just has zero social skills whatsoever, that's all." Miko merely said to the sweatdropping blonde man upon looking at Akira's hubris.
"Miko, that was seriously unnecessary." a tick mark appeared on his forehead, as he angrily rants at the carefree girl holding his arm.
"Whatever... You might be strong, but you're seriously hopeless when it comes to the more important stuff in social life..." Miko waved him off, stating that he needs to work on his people skills more.
Only a grumble was let out by Akira beneath his breath, knowing that Miko had a point there.
Then, akin to the attention span of an ant, Akira's attention had been diverted to someone he had just recognised after 5 painstakingly minutes near him.
"Wait a minute... Is that you, Mitochondria?"
"...You know him, Young Matsuzaki?"
All Might had asked the boy about the identity of the unconscious kid near him.
The blonde man was perplexed. Why would a parent name their son with the powerhouse of a cell?
"Know him? He's my classmate."
Dark. Cold. Darker, colder...
Anything that makes someone really, really uncomfortable...
That was what Izuku Midoriya was feeling at the moment, as he laid on the ground unconscious after the catastrophe meeting with the sludge villain. No words can describe the feeling of having green, disgusting, tendrils going into your mouth and nose at the same time.
For a lack of a better term, it was not a pleasant experience...
Hitched breaths of pain and bad breaths were between those moments. He could still feel the taste of those slimy things inside his mouth from that disgusting act of nature.
First of all things, his supposed childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugou had threatened the freckled, green-haired child to not enter U.A by using his disability of lacking a Quirk as his main point of argument, preventing Midoriya from retorting back at him.
Then, said childhood friend proceeds to use his own Quirk to ignite his Hero Analysis Notebook: Volume 13 into a smoking mess, tossing the poor book out from the window and into the watering hole below that had guppy fish chewing on it like it was fish food.
Afterwards, said childhood friend yet again had suggested that he should just jump out of a window, in the hopes of his next life that he would get a Quirk to be a proper hero.
Why did he say that in the first place even though it was highly unnecessary for him to do so?
Simple really... because the plot demands the viewers to have a solid reason to hate the main character's rival in the early stages, only to slowly warm up to him when he develops character development later on and becomes a better person overall in the following story arcs.
Cause that's how shonen works... If it ain't broken and it sells, don't fix it.
Anywho, back to the main story. Where were we..? Ah yes...
More dark, cold, and more darkness visible as his closed eyes could see.
To summarise, Izuku Midoriya was not having a swell day. If only he could change his own quirkless fate-
"I think we should bring him to the hospital... Just look at the miserable, cartoony face he's making right now."
What was that? It sounded like a girl.
"Nonsense, Miko. My mans, Machoriya, could take an explosion in the face and live to tell the tale."
"Umm... I thought it was Midoriya, judging by his name on his notebook All Might just sign."
"...You get the point. All Might sir, please keep uh... keep slapping my classmate until he returns to the realm of awakening."
"...A-Alright then... Hey... Hey!"
Now, followed by the girl's voice was two males voices.
One of them he was familiar with...
A bombardment of gentle slappings had implemented on his freckled cheeks before the gruff voice said to the other two...
"...Perhaps Young Hoshiruke is right, he's not waking up. Maybe I should take him to the hospital."
"Oh for crying out loud, I'm sorry All Might, but please move aside for a moment."
"O-okay..."
"This requires more tenderly hands to deal with... Quirkless to Quirkless modus operandi, I might say..."
"...Quirkless?"
"Where did you learn that kind of word, Aki-Kun?"
"From my mom. She used it once in her business meetings with dad in London and she always used this method when I overslept at home when they come back home once in a while."
"Safe to say, he's in good hands..."
Okay, who were these people-
'WHACK'
"WAKE!"
'WHACK'
"THE!"
'WHACK'
"HELL!"
'WHACK'
"UP!
'WHACK'
"MIDORIYA!"
'WHACK'
...
...
...
His eyes fluttered, opening slowly by the 'tenderly' hands of his saviour...
The light had shined brightly upon him, his eyes adjusting with the sudden flare before his green eyes meet with hazels.
"...Matsuzaki-san?"
Both individuals behind him were baffled by what he just did. He practically slapped the living shit out of the boy, and he woke up regularly like nothing just happened.
"Oh good, you're finally awake. Trying to cross the border between the dream world and the real one I see..."
He had used an infamous quote in a game with his own mix upon Izuku's awakening. Score one for the gamers out there, Akira had thought...
Meanwhile, the two individuals in question:
"Such a fearsome woman to wake her son up like that..." This was All Might's thoughts, as he was letting of another sweatdrop on another of Akira's shenanigans.
"YOU CALLED THAT TENDER, YOU MANIAC?!" and this was Miko's. It's a good thing Izuku wasn't aware of it, or else he could put Akira on a lawsuit for physical abuse.
However, their thoughts had been put to a halt as Izuku was now remembering what just happened to him.
"Wait... e-eh?! W-where did that s-slime villain go?!" He was a stuttering mess. Well, who could blame him? Minutes ago, he was being molested by the damn thing, from his nose to his mouth.
"Beats me. Miko and I just found you like this. But, you can thank your hero behind me for saving your butt there."
A lie Akira had told to his Quirkless classmate, as he told All Might that it's best if he was the one to save him in this scenario instead of the boy. Wouldn't want to create unnecessary drama in class now, would he?
Nevertheless, the teen jerked his thumb towards the man behind him as he steps aside, giving Izuku a clear view of who it is.
His eyes squinted upon looking behind Akira. Green eyes adjusting to the blaring sunlight upon his awakening.
"Thank goodness you're okay!" All Might had raised a thumbs up to him. As unorthodox as Young Matsuzaki's methods were, at least they were practical enough to get the job done.
He could feel his time limit slowly counting down as every moment passes by...
In a split second of a brief moment, Izuku's face had morphed from confusion into pure shock with inhumane speed upon realizing who he was facing right now.
His Number One Hero was here, and he saved his life from that villain.
And so, he did what any other superfan would do in this kind of situation.
"WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHGAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
He scampered away from the three people standing around him. An impressive distance he had made from his crawling considering he just woke up.
Akira and Miko were taken aback by this sudden notion, letting off a sweatdrop by the superfan's hyper reaction.
All Might, however, was unfazed by Izuku's actions. It's common to see fans react like this whenever he participates in a meet and greet event, handled by his former sidekick, Mirai Sasaki or commonly known as Sir Nighteye other than file works.
He wondered sometimes, what was the seer doing right now...
"I'm sorry 'bout getting you tangled up with my crime-fighting scene along with these two. I was pumped up since this is my day off here in this city, ahahaha!"
"However, the three of you were a great help, especially you two. Thanks!" He then looks at Miko and Akira with a nod of his head, thankful that they had contained the situation at hand before him. He then looks towards Izuku.
"With your help, I had managed to successfully capture the villain safely! He won't be causing any trouble now."
He was holding two bottles that were filled with the slime villain's fluids, using his superspeed to pick all of his pieces in a matter of seconds.
At first, Miko offered to help the man along with the reluctant boy who just wanted to get out here as soon as possible, but All Might politely decline her offer.
It was his mess in the first place. The two of them had done enough for him.
While All Might was apologising to Izuku about him getting caught up with his villain fighting along with two teenagers standing near him...
He was thinking about something else instead...
"T-The Number One Hero... All Might... H-He's the real thing..."
"H-He looks completely different in person!"
A shine had radiated on All Might's beaming smile. Could be the fanboy's imaginations playing in his mind but hey, he's the Symbol of Hope. So it was understandable why he acted like that.
He then finally snaps out from his dazed-crazed fan state, reminding himself of what a fan needs to do when meeting their biggest heroes in their lives.
"Oh right! An a-autograph! Where's my..." Izuku scavenges around his bag for his notebook, only for Miko to walk up to him and give Izuku his notebook.
"I think you're looking for this, Midoriya-san." A smile she had given at him. He seems quirky, and she likes to get to know him.
A new friend for Akira that she wants to establish since the boy isn't particularly too keen on meeting new people without Miko's help, or should he say 'insistence'.
"Y-you're Miko Hoshiruke! Aldera's Pride and prodigy! Oh my gosh, I-It's an honour to meet you!"
Izuku was ecstatic, to say the least... Not only he had met his Number One Hero, but he also had met Aldera's Pride in person. It's hard to see Hoshiruke in school since she always leaves early with Akira and wanders around town.
She looks gorgeous up close. Her short, jet black hair along with her fair complexion was complemented with her emerald eyes. Any boy would instantly be smitten down by her looks alone.
However, there is a tiny mystery that follows along with the prodigy. A middle school mystery...
Whenever someone confesses their feelings to her or makes a bold move on wooing her, the results were always the same.
Instant rejection, but it was done subtle enough that no one would notice it.
She was a very reserved girl, only showing modesty to everyone she meets and mostly do things without causing a scene...
The only person she would freely express herself with is Akira...
So, Miko Hoshiruke has a long line of hidden heartbreaks that followed behind her. Some of the rejected ones had dubbed her as "Heartbreak Hoshiruke" but they weren't brave to say that out loud in front of her.
However, that was not the mystery. The next one is...
The only person that was still 'surviving' by the words of the boys from Aldera, spending his time with the heartbreaker was none other than the Quirkless Akira Matsuzaki.
No one knows how he manages to stay 'alive' for a long period of time with a girl like Miko. This mystery was so well talked about in school, a social outcast such as Izuku can't help but wonder too how he did it.
From this mystery alone, they dubbed the other Quirkless boy as...
"Matstruggler Zaki"
A nickname that Akira himself doesn't even know he had.
Alas, these were all just rumours... Pointless, ever fleeting, middle school drama...
Akira only sees Miko as... Miko. Not the Aldera's Pride or anything. Nothing more, nothing less...
Such is the life of a Gunpla addict teenager.
After this long debriefing that played inside Izuku's mind as he was looking at the mystery boy of Miko's companionship, who was picking boogers off inside his nose from all of this, Miko merely replied to Izuku sheepishly all the while scratching behind her head.
"Yeah... I'd prefer if you just call me Hoshiruke, Midoriya-san. 'Aldera's Pride' and nicknames are just uh... too tacky for me, no offence."
"O-Oh! I um... I'll keep that in mind, Hoshiruke-san."
Izuku then checks his notebook for a blank page, and this notion only further shocked him even further.
"HE ALREADY DID!" A spreadsheet of All Might's signature in his notebook had yet again put Izuku's fanboy mode on overdrive.
"Th-Thank you very much! It'll be an heirloom! A family treasure!" Izuku then proceeds to make several bows of gratitude towards his idol, with ludicrous speeding bows that leave afterimages of his green, fluffy hair.
Miko who was near Izuku only took a step back from this sudden feat of fanatism.
"Whoa, would you look at that..." she mumbles to herself. This kind of speed was akin to Akira's side hops.
Said teenager, upon noticing this disturbing sight in his opinion, had nudged All Might at the side as he asked him a question.
"...Do you always deal with these kinds of fans, All Might?" a sweatdrop was let out by Akira when he looked at Izuku who still bowing up and down non-stop. It was getting out of hand, seriously.
A sigh was only let out by the pro-hero. "I'm afraid so, Matsuzaki-shonen... However, this young man right here just takes the cake for me, if I'm being honest..."
"...You could say that again." Akira lets this sentence off from his breath. One of the reasons why he was hesitant to be a hero was because of this...
However, All Might had grown accustomed to these kinds of fan's showcase, as he did another thumbs up at Izuku as a sign of appreciation. "Okay!"
He then makes sure that the bottles containing the slime villain were well placed inside his pockets, tapping them to make sure they're there neatly tucked in.
"Well then, I need to take this guy to the police now. It's best if you three go on your way towards home." All Might then look back at all of them with his iconic smile yet again, his hand raising as a sign of goodbye.
"See you again on the other side of the screen! And you two."
He then looks towards Miko and Akira.
"I genuinely had a great time chatting with both of you, albeit it was a for a brief moment. Till our paths cross again in the future!"
The Number One Hero then did some stretches and squats as he was preparing for a massive leap towards the city. Izuku was surprised that his meeting with the professional hero was cut short.
"Wait... already?"
While All Might was telling him that pro's are constantly fighting villains non-stop, Miko then walks back towards Akira who was checking on his Gunpla Barbatos to see if any of the slimes manages to latch themselves on to the box.
She then proceeds to ask him something regarding the new acquaintance she had met.
"Say, Akira?"
"Yeah, Miko?"
"Midoriya-san seems like a nice person, even though he might seem a bit hyper just then. Why don't you get to know him too?"
"Well, it's not that I don't want to, Miko. It's just there's a person who's stopping me from it."
"...which is?"
"Two words: Katsudon Bakumon."
"...You mean Katsuki Bakugou, that narcissist? What's wrong with him?"
"He's always around freckles whenever he goes. And no, I'm not a chicken, if that's what you're thinking." Akira merely said to the girl.
"When in the bloody blazes did I say that?"
"You didn't, just saying this out loud first."
"Oh~ how you have broken my sweet little heart by saying this terrible accusation. You don't trust me, my mans?"
"When you threw that blue shell at me when I was nearing the finish line last game, you expect me to not have trust issues, my mans?"
"...Touché" she did threw the shell at him, remembering the time where she had comfort a sulking Akira from a bitter betrayal with, of course, Gunpla.
He was kind of a sore loser...
"Anyway... you get the gist of it. I make contact with Mihouriya-"
"Midoriya."
"As I said, if I talk to Monariya, then rest assured I'll have to be forced to talk with a narcissist like Katsudon-"
"Katsuki. Did you accidentally suffered a fatal injury on the head during your training two years ago? I swear, no one could forget people's names so easily, Akira."
"Grr... no I didn't. You get the point, Miko." Akira grumbled to his childhood friend about her snide reply.
"Katsuki and I is a recipe for total drama waiting to be exploded. I cannot build my Gunplas and robots in peace if I have a narcissist like him hogging my ass."
"...Then what about me? I keep hogging your ass too."
"You're a different case. Without you, who's going to stop me from being financially unstable with my robot addiction?"
"...Your parents are financially stable on their own. Your mom is the Head of Humans Resources of a bigshot company and your dad is an architect. Just how did they get a son like you in the first place?"
"Don't ask me, Miko. That's also one of life's greatest mysteries. It's the greatest irony of all times if I could say that..."
"...I swear I said this so many times but, you are almost impossible to deal with sometimes."
"And that's the charm of Akira Matsuzaki. Don't lie to me, you like that impossible part of me, don't cha?"
"Heh... couldn't say it better than myself." Akira had a point. It's one of the reasons why Miko finds Akira compelling.
Meanwhile, All Might had finally done his squats. The professional Hero then took a massive leap into the air, as he soared to the city like a bird.
"I'M COUNTING ON YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORRRRTTTTTT!" his yelling slowly fades away as he soars. The two teenagers didn't realize that someone was also missing near them.
"Well, looks like that's the last time we see the Number One in the flesh." Akira lets this off with a relieved sigh upon hearing his departure. He was glad that it was over.
"...But why do I get the feeling we're gonna see him way more often than we should?" This was Miko's thoughts upon hearing Akira's relieved statement. She was about to jinx both of them at this moment.
Shaking this thought off from her head, she then spoke to Akira that it's finally time where they should go home. Miko's mom is making strawberry parfait for lunch.
"Well, we should probably go home now. Don't you think so?"
"Totally. Never knew meeting All Might himself is this stressful, not gonna lie."
"That's the funny thing. You remember my name and All Might easily compare to other people."
"Hey! Just because I'm forgetful, doesn't mean I forget the important stuff too. You've been with me ever since we were kids and not knowing All Might is considered heresy, Miko."
"Important stuff, huh... you freaking dumbass." she lets off a smile to him.
"...What're you smiling for? It's creeping me out."
The smile was gone now from her face, replaced it was an annoyed look instead. Goddamit, Akira.
Letting off a deep breath to calm herself down, she then continued to him.
"Nothing... Just remembering mom's making lunch now."
She then looks towards the direction of supposedly where Izuku should be.
"Well then, it's nice meeting you here, Midoriya-san-"
Instead of a green freckled kid in her sight, it was replaced by a blinking, yellow outline of the boy. He was missing.
"Um... where did he go?" Miko asked particularly to no one.
"I think... you'll get your answer if you look up right over there, Miko," Akira answered her question, as he points a finger towards a flying figure in the air where All Might had leapt off.
Using his stellar eyesight thanks to his training, Akira can easily spot where the green-haired kid went.
There was the Number One Hero, and holding on his leg was none other than Izuku Midoriya himself...
Both of them appears to be struggling in the air.
"...Does he have a death wish or something?" Miko was yet again surprised by Izuku's ridiculous act. She knew he was a super fan of All Might just by her first impression of him, but this was taking up a notch a bit too far.
"Yeah... sometimes Midoriya is a bit... extreme in certain situations." Akira lets off this sentence from his breath, surprised too by what Izuku had done.
One time, Akira noticed how the boy furiously writes his notes in class at maddening speed, something about hero analysis for the future from hearing his mutterings. It interrupted Akira's manga reading sessions sometimes.
Miko then looks towards him. "W-well, what are you waiting for?! Go after him!"
"Miko, if I jump here, then it's gonna leave a big crack on the pavement. I'm definitely not paying for property damage." Akira was reluctant from taking action. He could see there's a CCTV camera at the corner of his eye.
It was actually a dummy camera someone had put there for a prank. But does he know this? Nope.
Hearing this lame excuse, it seems Miko has to take the matters into her own hands instead. Akira can't always save the day. He has much to learn as well as Miko does.
"Grrr... Fine, hold these for me." she then gives her shopping bags to her childhood friend, as she began to jump on his back, giving a piggyback ride.
It's a good thing she was wearing dark slim-fit shorts and stockings underneath her skirt.
"Wait, what're you doing?!"
She then levitates a manhole in the tunnel that All Might had popped off from the sewers to them, using it as a hoverboard as Akira was riding on it.
"What's it look like?! We're going after Midoriya in case if he falls down or something!"
"Seriously?!"
"Just shut up and don't move so we don't fall instead!"
"HOLY SHIT! MIKOOOOOOOOoooooo~!"
And so, the two teens made haste with blinding speed towards the two figures in the air over at the distance.
Akira was struggling to keep himself and the girl balanced on the manhole he was on.
In normal circumstances, he would have not reacted like this when he soared through the city alone at night like All Might.
However, considering his hands were full with Miko's shopping bags and his Gunpla box, along with the girl riding on his back as they soared in blinding speed...
Suffice to say, his reaction was understandable...
Unknowing to them, they were about to get caught up with something where they shouldn't be in the first place...
MUSUTAFU CITY
"BBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRB!"
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!"
It was beginning to be a very intriguing day for the Number One Hero's first day in Musutafu City.
Just then, he had met with two promising teenagers that he had chosen to be candidates for One for All aside from U.A recommendation, which was one of the Big Three of U.A High.
Now, the young man those two teenagers had saved was latching onto his leg for dear life. A superfan he might be, but this was honestly way too much admiration for a hero.
"Let go of me! Your fanaticism is too much!"
"If I... brbrbr... let go... brbrbr... I'll...brbr... I'll die!" Between the incoherent gibberish of Izuku Midoriya's pleadings, lies logical reasoning on why he latches onto him.
Both of them were not aware of the other two teenagers who were making their way to them over at the mile distance.
"...That's true." the superfan had a point.
"I... have... a lot of things... I want to... ask you directly!"
"Okay, Okay! I get it, so close your eyes and mouth!" upon hearing this, Izuku then buried his face into All Might's leg from the wind velocity his face was taking.
After that, All Might was searching for a building around the vicinity so he could land safely to drop him off.
Time was in the essence, and he was running out of it. He could feel his muscle form slowly deflating from how long he had been flexing them.
He coughed up a heavy storm, a bit of blood was trickling down from his mouth. He could feel the iron taste of it inside.
"...shit."
In the nick of time, he had found a solid roof to land himself on. A stairwell that leads down to the lower districts of this part of town was visible to his shadowed eyes.
Landing with a massive thud, Izuku finally latches off from All Might's leg. He was looking worse for wear after that soaring session in the blue sky.
"That-That was scary..." He was shaking like a leaf from that experience alone.
"Good grief, if you talk to the people downstairs, I'm sure they'll let you down. I'm seriously out of time kid, so I really must go." He began to walk away towards the edge of the roof.
"Wait! Um..."
"No! I will not wait!"
"BUT-"
As his hand reaches out for him, he had been stopped in his tracks.
"You should probably give it up."
Traumatic memories that haunt his childhood years had resurfaced at this moment.
"I'm sorry, Izuku!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
His hand, trembling from reliving those memories alone.
"What the hell can you even do?!"
"You're Quirkless!"
He stood there, both of his hands were at his sides.
"...That might be true..."
They were all right. He was Quirkless. A powerless loser.
"But even so, I..."
His whole body shaking, gathering up the courage to ask this one question that might change the fate of his future.
And thus spoke Izuku Midoriya to his one and only hope.
"Even if I don't have a quirk, can I become a hero?"
This had stopped All Might in his tracks.
He remembered what Young Matsuzaki had accidentally slipped off regarding himself and the boy that had left All Might in confusion just then.
"Quirkless to Quirkless modus operandi, I might say..."
However, his train of thought has put to a halt as Izuku continued...
"...Can someone without a Quirk be like you?"
A pregnant silence occurred between the both of them, wind blew ever so slightly in the air on the one million question Izuku had asked the hero.
"...without a quirk..?"
A situation that Toshinori Yagi was once in when she asked him...
During the world was in great jeopardy.
However...
"GRR..!"
Time is up for our hero. He had reached his limit.
"G-Godammit..."
Smoke was letting out from his body, his Muscle Mode slowly deflating.
Izuku, oblivious to what was happening in front of him, as his green eyes trailed down to the ground merely continued on explaining why he asked him about it.
"It might've been because I don't have a Quirk, but I'm always made fun of... I know that Matsuzaki-san is..."
"OIIIIII! MIDORIYA!"
For the first time, he got his name right.
"...Wait, why am I hearing him- EHHHHH?!"
"GET OUT OF THE WAY! MIKO HAVE LOST CONTROL OVER THIS DAMN THING!"
"HE WAS TOO FAST, AKIRA! I HAD TO KICK IT UP NOTCH TO CATCH UP TO THEM!"
"AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SLOW DOWN?!"
"THINGS HAPPENED WAY TOO FAST, GODAMMIT!"
"WAGHHHHHH!"
Speak of the devil, and he shall appear...
A speeding Akira and Miko on a manhole were heading towards Izuku.
The three of them screamed out of pure panic.
Izuku and Miko because one of them was about to get decked with a metal manhole while the other was about to crash down with the boy she was riding behind.
Akira was screaming because he fears his Gunpla was about to get destroyed from this crash.
He has his priorities...
All Might had finally noticed the arrival of the two teenagers. He was shocked beyond all expectations.
Not only one, but three teenagers were about to find out the secret identity of the Number One Hero himself.
Two words were let out by him from this...
"Oh..."
More smoke had radiated off from him, his weakened form unveiled...
How the tables have turned...
"Shit."

The Strongest Man
A.N:
"Hey, guys! Griffin 02 here. I apologise for making this chapter a bit longer than necessary. I was planning to keep every chapter short but I fear I would make them feel a bit too rushed if I do that. I tend to write long chapters since I like to properly flesh out my characters as well as the other casts."
"The longest I did was 28k words on Chapter 3.3: Bird in a cage in Kill la Kill: Spiral Saga."
"Feel free to leave your own opinion about should I make a chapter-long or keep it simple and short."
"Anyways, looks like Akira and Miko had accidentally pulled a UNO Reverse Card on All Might. Time to see what the future had in store for the two, weird duo in the world of My hero Academia. Shenanigans would ensue, and they will be right in the middle of it all."
"For the manhole gig, I was reminded of how Saitama hitches on Mumen Rider for a ride when they made their way to the Deep Sea King. So here's my own take on it."
"Side note, Miko's looks are based on Hana Aoi on Oumagadoki Zoo, one of Horikoshi's previous works. Except for the eyes, of course."
"Anyhows, that's all I got to say for now. Leave a following and a review if you like it. Criticism is also accepted as well."
"A disclaimer I must do at all times. I do not own MHA nor OPM for those two belong to Horikoshi sensei and ONE Senpai respectively."
"See you all in the next possible chapters, my dudes!"
