Hot Flushes
David panted, his heart racing. His stomach burned with desire. He was starving for Regina's affection. His eyes darkened with hunger as they narrowed in on Regina's swollen lips. The flame within him radiating bright. He licked his lips. He was the hunter and Regina his prey. Without a second thought he lunged towards her, pinning her wrists against the wall. He pressed his body firmly against hers. He could feel her plump breast pressing against his firm chest. At the sensation his body tingled pleasantly all over. His cock throbbed; he could feel it fighting against his leather trousers. His head nuzzled her neck. He breathed heavily as his hand worked its way up between her legs. Once he reached her hips, his fingers hooked under her white blouse. His rough hands traced their way up her soft skin and toned muscles. His mouth nipped at her ear, grazing it slightly with his teeth. He cupped her breast, squeezing tenderly. He growled as his hips thrusted forward………
David awoke; his chest heaving heavily and heart pounding. It took a moment for David to catch his breath. He slowly processed his surroundings. It was still dark, the room dimly lit with a single lantern. He flopped himself back onto the pile of pillows and blankets.'Fuck! That felt too real!' He wiped his sweaty brow. His heart rate slowly steadied, 'Why can't I dream of Snow?' His eyes squinted tight as he sighed heavily. He rolled himself over, his head resting on his hand. He attempted to salvage what little sleep he had left of the night. However, all he managed to do was toss and turn.
David awoke several hours before Regina. His mind still reeling from his dream. He enjoyed the yellow, orange and pink hued sunrise as he watched the sky slowly turn blue. His eyes shut briefly as he took in a deep breath of fresh air. He exhaled through his nose. He shuffled his bottom on the wooden log he straddled. His eyes lost in the distance as his thoughts drifted further and further away from reality. 'I'm going mad! I must be! I love Snow. I do! But Regina?' His throat rumbled as he groaned.
David was snapped from his thoughts by the sound of familiar light foot steps scraping against stone. His eyes closed as he envisioned her wrapping her toned arms around his neck and greeting him 'good morning.' But that wasn't the case. He cursed himself for thinking of it in the first place.
"You're up bright and early. Something the matter dear?"
He looked up towards her, from his sitting position she towered over him. "Didn't have a great sleep". 'The dream however?' He almost purred.
Regina cocked her head, "David?"
"I'm sorry". 'For more than one thing!' He shook his head, "just a little sleep deprived",
"Well", she stood in her signature pose, "you could have slept on the bed".
He gave a smile that didn't quite reach the eyes. 'I would have fucked you!' He suddenly done a second take. "Regina, you've changed!"
"That's a first. A male noticing."
David snorted, "Regina. I'm sure all men notice you!"
He cocked a mouth turn upward into a playful smile, her eyes glittering. "Charming, are you flirting with me!" She showed the whites of her teeth, "what would poor Snow think!"
He wished he could flirt, he wished he could do a lot more than that. He stood from the log, he now stood at least a head taller than Regina. Looking down towards her; a simple grin forming on his face, he reached for her hands, holding them in his. He tenderly rubbed his thumb back and forth on the top of her hands. "You look beautiful". And she did. She wore a form fitting, pale blue riding coat with tanned, body tight pants and boots.
David did not miss the reddening of her cheeks. For a moment he found himself lost in her gaze as their eyes locked. They loosely dropped their hands; Regina adverted her gaze as David rubbed the back of his neck. His own cheeks turning a nice shade of rose.
"Well", she stated before clearing her throat, "this outfit is more suitable to giant beanstalk climbing!"
David's head cocked, his lip quirking.
"What?"
His lips formed a thin line. "I'm just thinking".
"About?"
His arms crossed his chest as he loosely held his elbows. He leant forward before speaking, "have any of your outfits ever been practical?"
Her facial features pinched together, "truthfully, no." Her head tilted slightly, "however, when you have magic who needs practicality?"
David nodded.
"And right now dear, I have no magic. So I'm forced to where the practical and less theatrical".
She found herself chuckling.
"What is it?"
"There's Storybrooke realm saying, dear. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it."
"Regina, I expected better from you." He shook his head but his grin still remained.
"We should venture out".
Nodding, he stated. "Agreed, I'll grab the supplies and I'll watch you walk ahead".
Her fingers scraped against his thin, cotton shirt as she walked by, her hips swaying. "I bet you will!"
David could feel the sudden thump in his chest.
