Season 1: Episode 13
It was the first day back at school after homecoming and things were noticeably different from how they had been beforehand. Violet herself could attest to that as despite Sophie's pleading, Minerva refused to be anywhere near them, the argument with Violet at homecoming still seemed to infuriate her.
'It was all a misunderstanding, she doesn't realise that.' Violet reflected ruefully. 'But I can't even get close to her to explain to her…'
It hurt, perhaps even more so given the success that most of her friends had at homecoming. Brody and Gabe could be found holding hands at every conceivable opportunity. David and Becca still kept dancing around each other but their infatuation was clear to see for the rest of the group. Sophie and Kyle were going strong too and now it was clear that Sarah and John were officially dating, getting serious in their relationship.
'I just hope Carlos doesn't cause trouble.' Violet noted ruefully.
But she knew that despite everything that went wrong, there was so much more on her mind that she had to try and deal with. Noting Violet's melancholy from where she sat with John, Sarah bit her lip.
"Sarah?" He asked, concerned.
She turned to him. "Sorry it's just, I feel kinda guilty. We're all so happy and things have gone so well between us all...except for Violet. She and Minerva…"
"Ah, yeah...I remember that." John replied softly. "I understand why you'd feel that way but...don't you remember what she said, she doesn't want us to feel that way, that she's happy for us."
Sarah nodded, she admitted that was true, but she still couldn't help herself.

At the end of one of his classes, another teen boy who was well known around the school was downcast. His own homecoming experience hadn't exactly been stellar. Said boy was tall and toned, dark skinned with Indian heritage, short black hair and black eyes, his name was Aasim Rajan.
'I can't believe it, I just...I chickened out. I told myself homecoming was my chance.' He mentally berated himself. 'I told myself I would talk to her then...admit how I felt no matter what. Then I saw her and just lost my nerve...Ruby…'
He was lamenting his lost chance with Ruby Hillis, a girl at the school he had a crush on. It was something he wasn't able to openly admit, mainly due to being the shy nerd of the school. Which naturally made him a target of the jerk jocks, especially the worst members of the football team. It also made him feel like Ruby wouldn't like him.
"No way man, you can't be serious, her?" He overheard one of said football team boys scoff.
Aasim froze, listening from behind the locker he stood, wondering what they were talking about.
Another was laughing. "Seriously, her? Dude, she's unfuckable, you can't honestly think that-"
"But that's the delightful thing about this bet." A boy Aasim recognized as the top football player.
He grimaced, realising they were doing on of their sick bets to bed a girl again.
He thought he'd heard enough, so he was about to walk away, but then it happened, he overheard the chilling words.
"Nobody wants to even touch a fat whore like Ruby." He stated. "She must be so desperate for sex it'd be easy to convince her to sleep with one of us, the hard part lies in the lucky winner getting hard enough to fuck that ginger piggy."
Aasim tensed, a shocking feeling of rage building within him, unable to believe what they were saying, about Ruby. About the girl he loved, they were making a sick bet to sleep with her, just to brag about it.
"So it's a bet then." Another remarked. "Whichever of us manages to bed Ruby Hillis before the end of the current semester wins the bet, say...$50?"
There were murmurs of agreement and Aasim left, he'd heard enough, he had to figure out what to do. He was worried that if he tried to warn her about this, it would cause her to not believe him and leave her vulnerable. But if he didn't, one of them could approach her and lure her into some sort of unpleasant situation. But he wasn't able to find her before the next class and he was left anxious, nervous. Indeed, he was unable to find Ruby at all, until lunch came and he was on his way towards the cafeteria when he saw her.
He froze upon seeing Ruby, the girl he loved wasn't all that tall, no taller than five foot six with short red hair and blue eyes, pale skin with freckles, she was also rather chubby yet still notably busty, especially in regards to her chest. What made him freeze was that one of the football team was already there and clearly putting the moves on her.
"So, Ruby, what do you think?" He remarked in an apparently suave voice. "We could-"
"Just shut up." Ruby snapped irritably. "I'm not interested in losers like you."
The guy actually flinched. "Wh-what, but-?"
"Get lost you dumb roid monkey." Ruby growled. "We're done talking."
With that she stalked off, leaving the football player flustered and gaping. Aasim almost wanted to laugh, relieved that Ruby shut the guy down. But he was still anxious that she clearly didn't know about the bet. But even then he faltered, unsure what he could do.

Sarah smiled warmly as she finished getting ready, applying a coat of clear lip gloss, some light blue eyeshadow to match her knee length form fitting dress and matching flats. She was getting ready for her first real date with John. They were going out to eat at a rather nice restaurant nearby and she was eager for John to arrive.
"Sarah." Her father's voice sounded behind her.
She turned to face him. "Yeah?"
She was wary, ready to once again have to assuage her dad's worries about John as per usual. But finally, after a pause, and some visible effort on Carlos' part, he spoke.
"You look wonderful." He said with a smile. "Have fun tonight."
Sarah was amazed, but then smiled. "I will, thanks dad."
It was then the doorbell rang.
"Oh, John's here." Sarah said.
Carlos nodded. "Okay, be careful honey."
Sarah couldn't help but feel relieved as she reached the door and opened it.
"Hi, wow." John greeted her, his eyes opening wide. "You look incredible."
Sarah giggled, blushing. John was dressed up reasonably nice too, dark blue pants, a white shirt and dark blue shoes.
"Thanks, you look good yourself." She replied with a wink.
They stepped out, Sarah closing the door behind her and they kissed gently before heading out to enjoy their date.

Gabe and Brody both grinned as they exited the movie theatre where they had been enjoying their own date, going to the movies. They were dressed somewhat smart-casual with Gabe in white shorts, a navy blue button up shirt, a black belt and dark coloured tennis shoes. Meanwhile Brody wore a black mid-thigh skirt with matching slip-ons and sheer thigh-high stockings, a dark red sweater and matching lipstick.
"That was great." Brody said softly, resting her head on Gabe's shoulder.
Gabe grinned. "Yeah, it sure was...I'm glad we came here."
He paused, smiling lightly as they walked down the street together.
"Gabe?" Brody queried, noting his silence.
"I just, wanted to thank you." He said quietly. "Ever since Rondi carried out her little scheme and ruined me, it was practically a nightmare almost every day...But then you set things straight. Things have indeed been getting better."
Brody gave a small smile. "I'm just happy to help, I knew something wasn't right and just couldn't leave things. It's even better that we managed to end up together too."
Gabe laughed and agreed and they snuggled closer, walking back to Brody's home, having enjoyed their date, things were looking better than ever for both of them.

That night, with the vast majority of the town's inhabitants asleep, the shadows outside the Hutchinson house moved and a dark clad figure emerged from them. Sticking to the darkness the figure moved slowly up to the house and, after a pause, making sure the inhabitants were asleep and nobody was around to see, they clambered up the side of the house onto the top of the garage. Standing up there they made their way up to nearest window which they managed to open and slide up. Taking another look around the shadowy figure slipped into the Hutchinson house, through the window, into Clementine's bedroom.
End of chapter, hope you enjoyed it, read and review please.
