"Rooster Bold."
Marc stood up, much to everyone's surprise. There were so many of their friends as superheroes, it was surprising they were still surprised. But they cheered for him, for his Miraculous was oerfect for the kind of person he was.
Marc happily stood before Ladybug as she held out his new Miraculous.
"Marc Anciel, here is the Miraculous of the Rooster, which grants the power of pretention. Do you promise to guard and protect your Miraculous and its kwami? Do you promise to use your power for the greater good and aid your teammates in battle?"
"Now and forever!"
"Then, as Guardian of the Miraculous, I give you the Thumb Ring of the Rooster and make you and official member of Team Miraculous!"
This was officially one of the best days of his life. He wrote stories about fighting with Ladybug and Cat Noir! Now? Now he was actually part of the team!
He put on the ring and out came Orriko.
"It's been forever since I've had a partner!" the rooster kwami cheered.
"I can't wait to spend more time with you, Orriko. We're gonna be best pals. Orriko, Sunrise!"
He was never going to get over his transformation. What an incredible feeling being a superhero!
"Good evening, everybody! The name is Rooster Bold and I have the super cool power to give myself any special ability I want, thanks to Orikko's awesome magic fountain pen. I know if we work together, we can cocka-doodle-do it!"
Cat Noir laughed at the pun while Ladybug quietly groaned. Great. Now there was two of him.
Rooster gave her a grin before taking his seat. Once he did, he was bombarded by the guys who welcomed him to the team. But he couldn't help but look over at Nathaniel on the other side. They were all here because they were superheroes. So did that mean Nathaniel was...?
What happened next answered his question.
"Caprikid."
Nathaniel though was a little shy, so he covered his head with his hood. He tried to take a step, but he was nervous. Did he really deserve this?
Rooster Bold couldn't stand to see his friend doubt himself. Ladybug had faith in all of them, which meant she had faith in him.
Rooster stood up and walked over to Nathaniel and held out his hand.
"Come on. You can cocka-doodle- do it," he encouraged.
Nathaniel couldn't help but laugh. It was a horrible pun yet worked well. He took his hand and they both walked to Ladybug, who gave Rooster Bold permission to stay up there with him. They were good friends and story telling partners after all.
In her hand were two goat horn shaped hair clips.
"Nathaniel Kurtzberg, here is the Miraculous of the Goat, which grants the power of passion. Do you promise to guard and protect your Miraculous and its kwami? Do you promise to use your power for the greater good and aid your teammates in battle?"
Nathaniel looked at his friend and said with a smile "With my friends by my side, absolutely."
"Then, as Guardian of the Miraculous, I give you the Hair Clips of the Goat and make you an official member of Team Miraculous."
He happily put them in his hair, releasing the youngest kwami, Ziggy.
"Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! I have an owner! I'm so excited!" he cheered, "I remember you! I like you!"
"I remember you too. Great to see you again, Ziggy," Nathaniel greeted, "We're going to get along well I hope. Do you like music?"
"Yes! As the kwami of passion, I love anything people consider an art," he answered, "But music is my favorite!"
"Have you by chance heard of someone named Ziggy Stardust?"
"No. I can't believe I share a name with someone! Who are they?"
Oh yeah. They were going to have fun together. Nathaniel couldn't wait to bounce some ideas off him.
"Ziggy, Bleat It!"
Drawing superhero transformations was one thing. Actually experiencing it was something else!
"May I introduce, my pal and yours, Caprikid!" Rooster Bold introduced.
"Haha! Rooster Bold has his magic pen, but I have my magic paint brush. With it, I can make anything a reality. Courtesy of my kwami, Ziggy."
The two returned to their seats where they received a warm welcome from everyone.
Before she called the next hero, Ladybug, looking directly at Rooster Bold and Caprikid, asked them not to turn their adventures into a comic book. It was too big a risk of their secret identity. The two promised and would just keep making comics of their own stuff.
With that out of the way, she called one of the last two heroes left.
"Miss Hound."
Instead of applause, Sabrina stood up to gasps and a few scattered claps. Some were even whispering. Were they about her? It all made her nervous as she stood on the stage.
"Sabrina Raincomprix, here is the Miraculous of the Dog, which grants the power of adoration. Do you promise to guard and protect your Miraculous and its kwami? Do you promise to use your power for the greater good and aid your teammates in battle?"
Before Sabrina would answer, someone asked "Is this a joke, Ladybug?"
King Monkey stood up, along with a few others to voice their concerns. Everyone knew Sabrina was loyal to Chloe. How did they know she wouldn't give the Miraculous to her? Or tell Chloe their identities?
"Ladybug, maybe I shouldn't," Sabrina whispered.
She did want to be a superhero, but not if it meant everybody didn't want her.
"Sabrina, it's ok," Ladybug assured and turned to everyone, "I believe Sabrina deserves this. She has shown the same amount of bravery, kindness, and trust I see in all of you!"
"Ladybug is right!" Vesperia said, standing up, "If Ladybug trusts Sabrina, then so do I. You all gave me a chance. Now give her one."
"I know I am the last person you want on your team and I don't blame you. But I promise your secrets are safe with me," she assured, "Maybe with a Miraculous, I can finally stand up to Chloe and earn her respect. After my first time, I was able to say no to her so I could play soccer with all of you. Please, let me prove myself and earn your trust."
Some who spoke out looked at each other and sat back down. They did like Sabrina, it was just Chloe they were nervous about.
She smiled and turned back to Ladybug, who held out a collar shaped Miraculous.
"To answer your question, Ladybug, you can trust me," she promised.
"Then, as Guardian of the Miraculous, I give you the Collar of the Dog and make you an official member of Team Miraculous."
From the collar came the cutest thing Sabrina had ever seen in her life. The closest thing she ever had to a dog was the police dogs they had at her dads station.
"Arf, arf! Sabrina! Great to see you again! Are you as excited as I am to be partners?" Barkk asked.
Her little tail was wagging! Sabrina's heart couldn't take the cuteness!
"You are so cute! I promise to love you and take care of you. We'll be best friends!" she gushed, hugging the kwami, "Barkk, On The Hunt!"
She stood before the crowd as Miss Hound with the cutest beret she had ever worn. Maybe for her introduction, she should do a joke. That always seemed to help break the tension.
"Hi, everyone! My name is Miss Hound! And bow wow! I'm so excited to fight with you!"
Did she seriously just say "bow wow"? That was worse than Cat Noir's jokes! Maybe she should just walk off the stage now.
"Aren't you going to tell us your power?" Minotaroux asked, "We already know, but we want to hear it from you."
"Yeah! Tell us what makes Miss Hound who she is!" Rean called.
Everyone asked her questions about her as a superhero. It all made her so happy. They wanted to get to know her instead of brushing her off.
"My name is Miss Hound and I'm a superhero's best friend! My trust ball, Barkk's favorite toy, allows me to retrieve whatever it touched last. The game of fetch just got upgraded."
Now everybody was cheering for her. It would take time to fully earn their trust, but that was ok. She was ready to make more friends.
