Huey Xavier Freeman, a natural-born leader. He was a mystery to everyone due to his quiet and intimidating demeanor. Having his parents die when he was seven years old forced him to grow up at an early age. He took control in his life, making tough decisions to be where he saw fit. Growing up in Chicago, being raised by his grandfather made him humble. But he had a hard time finding the greater things in life. Most would say he's complicated, rude, sarcastic, but he would describe himself misunderstood.
(Alarm noise) Beep beep beep…beep beep beep…beep beep bee-
"Ugh" a half sleep Huey moaned while hitting stop on his alarm clock. He stretched his body and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, he then looked around his room, slightly proud of his accomplishments. It wasn't much of a home yet, but it will do for now.
He had just spent his first night in his off campus apartment. It wasn't cheap to get this one-bedroom apartment in the city of Chicago, but he worked hard to save enough money to live comfortably. He would rather not take the risk of getting a weird college roommate, especially after sharing a bedroom with his younger brother Riley for his whole life. Besides, he valued his privacy and his time away from people.
Huey was a handsome young man. Well, actually most girls would call him fine as hell. Huey Freeman always took pride in his appearance and health.
Standing tall at 6'4 but maybe even taller with his ginormous Afro, a very well-built man having gorgeous toned muscles and tattoos covering his beautiful chocolate skin. He had a nice kept beard and a small earring on his left ear. But his most notable features was his pleasant teeth and his mesmerizing eyes.
Huey got up and made his bed. He checked the time and saw it was 7:30am. He made it a priority to wake up early to get a head start on his day. Even if his classes weren't until 1:00pm, he always wanted to enjoy his stress-free time.
He got a text from an unknown number, but he knew exactly who texted him. He made a mental note to delete the message after he read it.
"Come to the spot, I need to have a word with you"
He sighed while swiping on the message and hitting the trash button. "Man I don't wanna deal with this shit right now" he said to himself.
He then walked to his bathroom and found his toothbrush in the exact place he left it, he's always been big on organized living, and he took pride in not being what he would like to call "A dirty ass nigga".
He started brushing his teeth and getting into the zone of his morning routine. He showered, washed his face, picked and moisturized his Afro, then walked right into his closet and picked out a black shirt with a picture of a Ku Klux Klan member hanging from a dead tree. Making sure to have on his bulletproof vest and his chain tucked in his shirt. He put on his black jeans and an all-white Versace belt.
Huey couldn't care less about designer things, half of the brands had racist backgrounds anyway. But his brother, on the other hand, cared a lot about them. So, you can definitely say Riley rubbed off on him slightly. But he will support black business until the day he dies.
Now, you are probably wondering, "what does Huey do to make all this money?" It's not his first choice in life, he actually saw himself as a doctor or a lawyer. But nope, drug dealing found its way into his life. Once he found out how easy it was to make over 1k in one day, he's been selling since he was 16.
Now at 21 he's been working on starting his dealing business with a couple of friends and his brother. He knew getting a job right now wouldn't get him to where he wanted to be money wise, and he had no other choice to help his grandad out financially. He still sends his grandad money even now that he's moved out.
Huey put on his socks and white Air Forces then walked to his dresser, finding his watch, gun, and his wallet. He snatched his phone off his charger and checked it really quick.
He had a few messages from unsaved numbers, which was probably thirsty girls he entertained for a short period of time. He wouldn't say he was a player, he saw it as learning the female body. But he was clean and always wore protection, just like grandad said.
He ignored the messages and texted Riley that he was coming to pick him up and then dropped his phone in his pocket.
Grabbing his keys he locked and closed his door heading to the elevator pressing the button to get to the garage. He had some business to handle.

Huey drove to his grandads and pick Riley up to go handle some business. Riley was his go-to partner, and he didn't trust anyone more than he trusted his brother.
"Choppa doing circles, it's a vert', vert, take him to the party he's a nerd POP OUT" Riley rapped with the song.
Riley Marcus Freeman, he was a wild card that definitely will talk shit to you however he felt like. He was equally handsome as his brother having his super long braids that touched his mid back, he was 6'2 and had neck and body tattoos. He had on all black except his black and yellow Jordan 4s. Not only that, but he really matured since he was a kid, but that didn't mean he didn't have his childish moments. He was playful but could make a room turn cold when he was serious.
See niggas hit corners in the motherfucking 'burbs, huh (pop out)
Done politicking with the competition, what's the word? (Yeah)
Put that on my mama, nigga, eighti in the process
"Aye nigga what's so urgent for you to come get me at 8:00? I was doing something important" Riley said while taking a half smoked blunt out his pocket and lighting it up.
"And what we're you doing that was so important?" Huey asked raising his right eyebrow keeping his eye on the road. Huey had to make many cuts and turns to get to his location, and he didn't want to miss any.
Riley laughed and took a big hit from his blunt. "I had this lil thang in my bed, but I had to rush her to leave cuz of you", he then took another hit and started coughing.

In the 90s, sitting bum with the windows tinted
Huey rolled his eyes and made another right turn, arriving at an old park. It was covered in dead leaves and puddles of dirty rain water from the previous showers that occurred during the night.
Huey quickly turned to his brother and made eye contact, that's when Riley got serious understanding what was going on. He rolled down the window and flicked his blunt far away from the car.
Huey parked his car and the brothers got out and headed to a bench in the park. It smelled of fresh wet rain and the bench was covered in water, so the brothers just stood on the concrete, careful not to get mud on their shoes.
Some time went by and suddenly, an all black van pulled up, windows so tinted you couldn't see anything inside. Huey walked first towards the van, and Riley soon after. The door opened and the Freeman brothers got into the back seat.
"Hello boys, nice of you to gift me with your presence" said from a tall skinny white man. He had on a impressive dark red tailored suit with all black shades and black loafers. He held a wooden pipe between his lips while smirking at the elder brother.
Huey kept a straight face, not wanting to show his hatred towards the man. The man's name was Vinny, but he liked to be addressed as boss. "I assume you know why I asked you to come here" Vinny said, blowing smoke from his mouth.
"You want more money" Huey said nonchalantly. Vinny laughed and started slowly clapping in Huey's face. Riley had his guard up but played it cool due to the three big men loaded with guns waiting for anything to happen.
"Now you are an intelligent man" the man snapped his fingers and was given two double shot glasses and some whiskey. He slowly poured the whiskey and handed each glass to the brothers.
"I gave you more money last week" Huey said, taking the glass from the man but not drinking any of it. He hopes Riley wasn't dumb enough to drink it, either.
"You see son in this business you need to make sacrifices, I make them every day". Vinny said, taking a swing of whiskey straight from the bottle.
Riley was watching the driver drive around a few blocks but keeping an eye out for anything sketchy. He's been tense ever since he got to the park, and hitting that blunt didn't help at all.
"I want more money, so I can expand my business in different places, Chicago is nice and all, but it's just not enough." Said Vinny, looking out the window while talking. "So give me 5k, and I'll send you on your merry way"
"No" Huey said in a stern but calm tone. The van got extremely silent, all you could hear was the engine of the car. "I'm sorry I must have not heard you correctly" Vinny said taking off his shades then staring Huey directly in the eyes.
"I said no, get your 5k from someone else" with that being said Vinny smashed the whiskey bottle against the car door while his men pointed their guns directly at Huey.
Riley pulled out his gun and pointed it directly at Vinny. The car was tense, and one sudden move could make this whole ordeal a tragedy. "I'm your boss, or have you forgotten that bitch" Vinny said, inching closer to Huey's face.
Suddenly, Huey pulled out his gun and shot Vinny directly in his heart. His men started aimlessly shooting, one of their guns were jammed so Huey shot the man right in his head, while Riley started shooting towards the other two.
Without saying anything, the brothers both opened their doors and rolled out of the Van. Bullets still flying towards them while they stood up. The car behind them swerved and crashed into the van. Huey and Riley looked at each other then bolted straight to the park, where they found the car still where they left it.
They hurried into the car and drove off. "I can't believe we made it out alive" Riley screamed out loud.
They've intended to kill Vinny for months now. Each time they do business with him, he gets greedy and wants more money. But he doesn't give them enough drugs to sell to meet his needs. The only way out of business with him was by killing him. But now the brothers knew this wasn't the last of their problems. They just are glad to be alive to tell the rest of the gang about this.
Huey pulled out his chain and kissed it. It was the last thing his mother gave him before her passing. He wasn't big on religion, but he believed the chain blessed him and that's why he will never take it off.
The ride was silent,no music playing and no talking. The brothers didn't need to speak on what just happened, they we're just happy to be surprisingly untouched. That was one of the most dangerous situations they've been in and they knew it wasn't their last.
Huey dropped Riley back off at grandads, he checked the time and saw it was pushing 11:00. Figuring he had some time to kill, he decided to get his things for school and get some food at this new spot he heard about.
Baileys Belly Coffee shop
"One whole grain muffin and black coffee" the cashier shouted out.
Huey walked up and grabbed his food, he definitely noticed the lady working
the cash register checking him out and winked at her, making her blush as he walked away.
Making his way out of the small coffee shop, he saw three girls walking towards the door.
Two of them brown skin, the one with the braids wore a purple romper with her cleavage showing in the front with nice white sandals.
The other one was on the heavier side, wearing skinny jeans and a cropped tank top with a cut up jacket that didn't cover anything up anything. But she looked pretty, her hair was also pulled into a back puff.
But it was the ginger hair and the freckles that caught his eyes from the third girl. She was shorter than the other two, but not too short for his liking. She had on a tight-fitting sundress, showing off her curvy body. Huey studied everything on her down to the pretty white toes she had on display in her sandals, up to her gold necklace that had a shiny J on it, and to her, big fluffy Afro. She had on sunglasses, so he couldn't see her eyes, but he wanted to bite her glossy plum lips.
He opened the door for them and watched the girl walk in, getting a good look at her ass. "Thank you sir" she said smiling up at him. He quickly looked up and nodded, not saying anything.
He walked to his car, then looked at his watch and saw it was 12:45. Furthermore, he drove to school, sipping his coffee and taking bites of his muffin.
He made it to his class on time, sat in his seat and acted like nothing happened previously that morning. Not only that, but he acted like his mind wasn't racing everywhere, thinking of all the shit that was about to go down soon.
He had to let his gang know what's going on and how they needed to prepare for the upcoming events. As much as he was worried, he wasn't afraid to handle his shit.
Suddenly, all his worries stopped when he saw that mysterious girl from the coffee shop.
