Greetings Fanfictions community! I'm back here again with another SYOC, this time set in the Star Wars universe. The story will be set in the Clone Wars era and will follow a group of Jedi and their clone soldiers, submitted by you lovely readers, as they fight and struggle from the beginning of the Clone Wars to its bitter end.

For the story itself, I'm looking for a total of seven Jedi OC's (eight at a push, depending on how many submissions i get), six to seven of which will be sent in by you fine people, one of them being a OC of my own creation. At least two and a maximum of three must be Padawans. Submissions are first-come, first-serve for the main cast of Jedi, though if you send in a Jedi shortly after all spots are filled they may still appear as side characters. You can submit as many clones or non force users as you want, the structure of this story will be rather episodic so bounty hunters, senators or any other interesting character ideas you may have are more than welcome to be sent in. If you are submitting a character please do so through PM only, any characters submitted by review will not be a part of the story. Please label your submissions clearly with "A Galaxy Aflame: [Character name], [character roles]"

For the sake of diversity, and my own personal love of Aliens, I will only be allowing ONE human Jedi in the main cast. A list of Alien species will be found later in this chapter, as well as on my profile, feel free to use that as a reference (I want each of the main cast to be different species however). I also would like an even, or at least near even split of the sexes if possible. My OC will be a female, so I'm hoping for at least two more.

As with all SYOC, please don't send in Mary Sue's or Overpowered near perfect characters. They are no fun to write, and certainly no fun to read. I want flawed and falliabel people.

Finally, this story is rated M for a reason. If you submit a character I will put them through the ringer, this includes but is not limited to them dying (this is especially true for the Clones), They are fighting in a war after all. There may also be adult situations in the story, though I will not be writing outright smut… Some scenes may get steamy however (unless the characters are under 18, in which case they will have to settle for unprotected hand holding)

Species: (Feel free to choose one of the species listed below, though if you have another in mind feel free to use that instead. Again, I will only be Accepting ONE human into the main cast)

Sexuality: ( Are they heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or acesexual? All sexualities are welcome in this story)

Jedi Rank( Are they a Padawn, Knight or Master? I will only be accepting a maximum of two masters. If you also want to tell me which sub faction of Jedi they are part of go ahead, though it is not necessary)

Lightsaber( What type of LIghtsaber do they use? (single, duel, double bladed or perhaps even a pike?) What colour is their lightsaber, what material is it made out of?)

Lightsaber Combat Form:( Please give me their two preferred combat forms, a primary form and secondary form. The primary form is your characters go to/signature form, whereas their secondary form is a backup for they would rely on when shit really hits the fan. Pick from forms I, II, III, VI, V, VI and VII. Due to the form being restricted I will only allow one or two characters to use form VII. If you're unsure of what forms to give your character, i'd be more than happy to discuss it with you)

Physical appearance: (What does your character look like? What is their hair colour, (if their species has hair), eye colour, hair style (again if applicable), facial hair, body type, height, weight, skin colour? Do they have any scars, tattoos or markings? Please keep things in line with your character's race when describing their appearance. No humans with naturally blue hair or purple eyes.)

Clothing Style: (What is their general attire like? Do they wear usual Jedi robes, a Jedi tunic with piecemeal armour or are they like Aayla Secura and go into battle rocking a crop top? Do they also have any formal attire or sleepwear?

Personality: (Now this is the most important section, here I will need a fairly detailed overview of your character's personality. Be as detailed as possible, I'd like at least three paragraphs for this section. I will use this section to determine not only how your character will speak, but also how they will think and act throughout the story, and how they will treat and interact with the other characters.)

Character Virtues: (i would like at least 3 virtues for your character. You don't need to be super detailed here, a small sentence or a word or two will do)

Fears: (3 things your character is afraid of. They could be as simple as a minor phobia or as huge as a deep seated trauma.)

Backstory: (Describe your characters life up until the start of the story. Now, they won't be some kind of mega hero or anything, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have had any harrowing experience or adventure, they are Jedi after all. The possibilities are limitless. Please do not copy an existing character's backstory, however. I'm fine with your character having some similarities (such as being born a slave and later rescued) but I don't want a retelling of Anakin's backstory.

Views on the Jedi Order: (What are their views on the Jedi order as a whole, their philosophy on the force, the Jedi code and teaching, their involvement in the war? Do they feel the code is restrictive or are they a true follower? Do they have any opinions of canon characters, even if they haven't met them personally?)

Views on the Galactic Republic: (What do they think of the Galactic Senate? Do they see its corruption? Are they blind to it? Do they hate the bureaucracy or do they have faith that the gears of democracy will grind true in these dark times? How do they view Chancellor Palpatine? Keep in mind they would have absolutely zero cause to think he is a Sith, but that doesn't mean they have to like him)

Views on the CIS: (How does your character feel about the Separatists? Do they see them all as a force for evil and destruction, only seeing them as an enemy? Do they have sympathy for the Separatist? Basically, how do they view someone or something they see as an enemy.)

View on the Clones: (How do they see the clones they will be commanding and fighting beside? Do they see them as their own sentient and individual beings with hopes and dreams, or do they see them as little better than battle droids?)

Breaking point: (What would it take for your character to consider leaving the Jedi Order or even turn to the Dark side? A lover? A loss of a Padawn or Master? Or perhaps they simply grow tired of the Order and the war, feeling as if the Jedi have abandoned their ideals and failed at their role as peacekeepers?)

Romance: (Are you open to your character developing a romantic relationship in the story? If so, what kind of person would they be attracted to?)

Now! Onto the clones. There will be five homebrewed clone legions in this story, each with their own specialty, Jedi general, armour colours and general flavour.

1: The 198th Legion. The 198th are Line Infantry. They specialise in planetary relief and support operations, search and rescue operations and HVT protection. They are often assigned to protect planetary leaders or senators while they engage in wartime negotiation, provide and escort humanitarian aid and relief to warzones as well as acting as general line infantry in large scale battles. Their armour is Maroon and white, each clone also wears a shoulder pauldron and kama.

2: The 233rd Sky Corps, AKA, The Dusk Raiders. The 233rd are an airborne assault battalion, specialising in drop assaults, rapid battlefield insertions and night time operations and sabotage. They earned their nickname after a series of heroic night raids on Separatist supply lines during the battle of Gravlax VI, throttling the enemy and allowing the primary force of the 964th Armoured Battalion to deliver a decisive victory. Their armour is black and grey.

3: The 964th Armoured Battalion. The 964th are an armoured infantry battalion, specialising in armoured and mechanised warfare, mechanical and technological salvage and recovery. They are equipped with multiple AT-TE walkers, as well as a handful of TX-130 Saber-class fighter tanks. It is said that the enemy will feel the 964th coming long before they see them. Their armour is white and Khaki.

4: The 412th Battalion, AKA, The Tunnel Rats. The 412th are a siege infantry battalion, specialising in offensive and defensive siege warfare, urban and close quarters combat, and subterranean warfare. They gained their nickname after the gruelling battle of Avelon Primus. The Separatist forces had taken control of much of the planet's subterranean cities and mining facilities, after many days of hard fighting, the heroes of the 412th managed to push the enemy out of their burrows and into the waiting guns of the republic army. Their armour is white and brown.

5: The 111th Recon Corps. The 111th is a recon regiment, specialising in scouting, infiltration, reconnaissance and surveillance and long range engagements. The clones of this regiment excel in wilderness survival and covert operations and come equipped with both AT-RT walkers and BARC speeders. Their armour is forest green camo.

Rank: (What is their rank? A ranking clone officer will either be a Captain or Commander. A second in command will be a Lieutenant. Each legion can only have one Commander and one second in command. I'm allowing upto six ARC troopers, not counting the commander with the rank of either Lieutenant or Sergeant per legion)

Specialisation: (What is their specialty? For example, Medic, Rifleman, Assault trooper, Pilot/driver, heavy weapons specialist, sniper/ scout trooper, demolitions specialist, tech trooper. The Commanding Officer and Second-in-command will always be officers. If your character is an ARC trooper, say so here.

Legion: (Which of the five legions mentioned above are the part of?)

Weapons: (What weapons do they use? Your character's specialty will determine what his primary weapon will be. A heavy weapons specialist will use the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon, a ARC trooper or Officer can use either dual wielded DC-17 blaster pistols or a DC-15A or DC-15S, a Scout trooper will use the Valken 38X- Longblaster, the Medic, Demo trooper and Tech trooper with use either a DC-15S blaster Carbine or DC-15A Blaster rifle and also carry a backpack of his respective supplies, an Assault trooper will carry a Scatter gun and the Rifleman will carry a DC-15A Blaster Rifle. Each character will also carry a Virboknife and at least one DC-17 blaster pistol)

Appearance: (Keep in mind they are all clones of Jango Fett, but have they done anything to make themselves stand out against their brothers? What kind of haircut do they have, or have they dyed their hair? Do they have any facial hair? Do they have any tattoos or scars?

Personality: (What is their personality like? You only really need to be detailed here if you are submitting the commanding officer or second in command. Everyone else I can make do with one paragraph, though if you want to write more feel free to)

Backstory: (What was life like on Kamino for them? How did they earn their nickname? Did they fight in the first battle of Geonosis? Have they fought in any since? Keep in mind, only a handful of battles have taken place since then, and no major offensives)

View on the Galactic Republic: (How do they see the Republic they are fighting and bleeding for? Do they feel nothing but loyalty to it or are they resentful of how the republic treats clones?)

View on the Jedi: (How do they view the Jedi as a whole? How would they treat their Jedi General and their Padawan (should they have a padawan), would they be all business or would they warm up to them as the war went on?)

View on the Kaminoans: (How do they view their creators? Are they grateful to them or do they resent being cannon fodder in a war they didn't choose to fight?)

View on the CIS: (The enemy. How do they view the Separatists?)

View on their clone brothers: (How do they view their fellow clones?)

Hopes and Dreams: (Do they have any hopes or aspirations outside of war? Do they hope to settle down, or would they ever consider deserting? Perhaps they are looking for love?)
