After Rebecca cleaned herself up from Labilia's slime dump, the group followed Nino through the secret underground passage he mentioned in his note.

"Thanks for letting me use your shower, Nino." Rebecca said.

"Seriously, don't mention it." Nino said with a thumbs up, Rebecca instinctively covering her mouth. "Don't worry, there's no threat of being eavesdropped on here, we can speak freely."

"In that case, if you don't mind me asking, how do you know about this underground passage?" Fuyuhiko asked.

"It's a little complicated to explain, to be honest. Around here, I'm known as Kenzaiten Nino, the Fist of Heaven." Nino said. "I'm someone Madame Kurenai has been good to."

"So, you're one of her agents. But you don't seem as extreme as everyone else under her thumb." David said.

"Things could have turned out much more differently, though. You see, Madame Kurenai is looking for a ship called the Edens Zero. So she eavesdropped on every single citizen of Sun Jewel and located the individuals who mentioned Edens Zero. I dont have a clue why Madame Kurenai is looking for it, I just followed my orders and made contact with the individuals who mentioned the Edens Zero, you all. I was ordered to take all of you captive, but…" Nino explained before he smiled. "Seeing Rebecca in that out of this world Wibble Wobble Ruby Bobble cosplay made me want to help!"

"You do not seem worried about betraying Kurenai." Elisabeth said.

"Oh, I'm not betraying anybody." Nino replied. "Madame Kurenai is terrifying. That's why I'll tell her I never found you." he inputted an entry code into a door. "This is as far as I can go to help you all. The Labor District is dangerous, once you retrieve your friends, leave this planet following the route I mentioned."

"Thank you, Nino." Liliana said as he soon departed and the group entered the Labor District.

"So this is the Labor District…" Kampan said with a sad expression as they saw it was a rundown city with broken buildings and factories along with citizens in ragged clothing. "*Sigh*"

"Life in the slums is never easy." Mayumi said.

"Yeah, this is the reason why I decided to steal from corrupt wealthy figures, so people like these wouldn't suffer." Kampan said. "This whole system is complete rubbish."

"Shh… Keep your voice down. I know how you feel, we all do. But we can't risk Kurenai overhearing us." David said.

"Sorry mate." Kampan said as a small robot bird was seen flying above them.

"That's unusual…" Mikan said before it flew off, taking regular stops.

"I think we're supposed to follow the birdie." Hiyoko said.

The group followed the bird droid to a specific location, where they saw a short-statured man meditating… upside down, on his head.

"Ummm…" Stoj said.

"Shh… He looks really focused. We shouldn't disturb him." Sachiko said.

Suddenly, the man opened his eyes and spun on his head right towards the group, surprising Rebecca.

"Steal!" he called out dramatically and brushed everyone.

"Who the heck is this guy?!" Happy-2 asked.

The man got to his feet and revealed he was holding Rebecca's B-Cube in his hand.

"What the heck?!" Ajna said. "He's so fast."

"No…he's using Ether Gear." Jet said.

"Correct. I have an Ether Gear which allows me to steal things. Such as these." the thief said holding something frilly.

"Wait…those look like my…" Rebecca said before feeling something missing as she shrieked.

"Getting serious Kazuma vibes here…" Hope said.

"We'd better start looking for Valkyrie before more things get swept under the skirt." DW typed.

"So you're all looking for Valkyrie?" the man asked.

"Wait…you know her?" Miles asked.

"Indeed. My name is Paul and I happen to be Lady Valkyrie's pupil." he said.

"Whoa, she would definitely be proud." Francisca said.

"Before any of you ask, no, I've never met Homura." Paul said.

"Wait, Homura? We…never even mentioned her." Omnimon said.

"I think I know what's going on here." David said.

"Lady Valkyrie often talked about her. Honestly, I never thought Homura would ever come to Sun Jewel." Paul said as he took out a worn-out B-Cube.

"That B-Cube. It looks all…worn out." Sachiko said.

"This belongs to Lady Valkyrie. It contains the truth behind why she left Homura so long ago. However, I am only to play this before Homura." Paul said. "But…I suppose I should hand this to you anyway."

"What happened to Valkyrie?" 9S asked.

"Everything we need to know about her is on this B-Cube. But I think we should find Homura first before we watch what's on this." Kendo said.

"Hmm…then we should move." Paul said. "Flappy has just told me that Homura and some boy have entered the den of Black Rock."

"Shiki!" Ace said. "What's this 'Black Rock'?"

"One of the most dangerous Stones on this planet." Paul said.

"Stones? Those aren't dangerous." Connie mentioned.

"Uh…they are on Sun Jewel." Jet said pointing to some bugs with jewels on their backs scurrying by. "Those…are Stones."

"Then….we need to hurry and get them out!" Jexi said as they ran into the mine.

"Rock bugs? Not the strangest thing we've seen." Al said.

"Unfortunately, Stones vary in species, size and shape. The ones you saw are only worth one Metal each." Paul said.

"Metal? Those android guards in the Wealth district mentioned that. They sentenced Shiki and Homura to 100000."

"It's a form of debt." David said. "When people are subjected to slavery, they are usually issued a certain quota before they are released. Or at least… That's how it is supposed to work."

"So…the supposed Dimensional Heroes have come at last." a voice echoed.

"Who's there?" Dan asked.

"My name…is Sunstar." the voice said as they saw the face of a robot up ahead.

"Sunstar? Then you are…" Fulgore started.

"The same who committed some crimes and was arrested on my creator's orders." Sunstar said.

"One guess on who that probably is." Sachiko said.

"We already know who it is. Wait, ordered you to be arrested?" Jexi asked.

"Yes. How do you think he pulled off the prison break in the first place?" Sunstar asked.

"He had an inside man. Of course." David said.

"Of course, after the Titan Incident, he went into hiding and eventually disbanded the Universal Villains, leaving all us robots to fend for ourselves." Sunstar said.

"But why though?" X asked.

"I don't care. What happened happened." Sunstar said.

"Well…we're bringing you in. So don't try and fight it." Akane said.

"Haven't you noticed?" Sunstar asked as they shined a light to reveal most of his body was in pieces. "I have no way of fighting anyone anymore."

"He's completely damaged." 9S said.

"Damaged is an understatement." Hera said.

"Yeah…my weapon systems were taken and used for that Crimson Eye satellite that monitors the whole planet." Sunstar said. "Thought I could take this planet…but got nearly killed."

"Crimson Eye… That's the satellite Kurenai used to send criminals to the mines." David said.

"Or kill them on sight." Sunstar said.

"Well, one thing is for sure. No matter the circumstances, we can't let this stand. We've seen too much to turn back." Francisca said. "Of course, once this is over…we'll have to prepare you for…"

"Wait, does it really seem right to send him in this state?" David asked. "I mean, look at this guy. He lost his weapon systems. He's got nothing left."

"We were asked to apprehend the top 10 that escaped from that breakout. We can't just let him stay out here, striking fear in people's hearts." Zan said.

"That's not what I am saying at all. He can't do anything as he is now." David said.

"What are you trying to say?" Zan asked.

"I mean, yes. There is no doubt that he should return. But that doesn't mean we should leave him in a broken state. Flux left him to fend for himself, he had his weapon systems removed, what does this guy even have left?" David asked.

"You wanna try and fix him? No way! Do you know how destructive this guy is? He's destroyed entire planets!" Jet said.

"And yet you're talking to a guy that can slice up thousands of demons in the blink of an eye? Your point is?" David asked. "Look, Jet. I understand that protocol dictates what it dictates, but at the end of the day, robots in this universe are considered people too, right?"

"Yeah…and some hate humanity just as much." Jet said. "He got roughed up by a stone."

"Actually…it wasn't the stone that did this to me." Sunstar said.

"It wasn't? Then who?" Miu asked.

"Drakken Joe." Sunstar said.

"Wait, Drakken Joe? Isn't he the guy that Spider creep said he worked for?" Sachiko asked.

"Not sure how credible that is or not, but… Yeah, seems like the guy." David said.

"Spider? Yeah…you don't gotta worry. Spider's dead." Sunstar said.

"Well, that's a bit of a relief. There were so many of those guys to go around already." Sachiko said.

"I tried to take this planet. Drakken Joe happened to be on it the same day I attempted. It didn't take much for him to rip me to pieces. He left me in his ship as an ornamental piece for a while until he decided to trash me here, let me rust in peace." Sunstar said.

"The Oracion Seis Galactica…they really are as terrifying as their reputations claim to be." Jet said. "Let me guess, he sold your weapon system to Kurenai."

"Yeah…that's right. He saw good profit from my weapon system." Sunstar said. "Look…just haul me in and send me to the prison so I can rust in peace."

"Well, so much for that idea. If the weapon systems are sold already, then there's not much we can do on that front." David said.

"Not quite." Miu said.

"Miu?" David asked.

"Anyone has a rundown on the specs used for his weapon system?" Miu asked.

"None of us do. The only one who would have those would be Flux." Aelita said.

"A challenge that I'd be willing to accept." Miu said.

"Miu? H-hold on a second. Are you saying… You're gonna give him a new weapon system from scratch?" David asked.

"Not only that…I'll take all of Flux's bots…make his creations my own." Miu said.

"Are you capable of such a thing?" Sunstar asked.

"No duh! You're talking to Miu Iruma, the Ultimate Inventor! There is nothing my genius mind can't build up!" Miu said. "Watch… You guys just watch, I'll pull this off, no problem!"

"In that case, I'll have the guy hauled off to your little lab then." Jet said.

They soon heard an explosion up ahead as they ran up to see Shiki and Homura having slain a large monster made of crystal.

"Shiki! Homura!" Frosta called, noticing the giant monster. "Whoa! That thing's huge!"

"It must be Black Rock." Adora said.

"We took it down to bring our collars all the way to zero." Shiki said as the two's collars did go down to zero. However, soon after, the word RESET appeared as they each read 100000.

"What the?!" RD-2 asked. "It just shot right back to 100,000!"

"Because Madame Kurenai has no intention of freeing you. Once you are sentenced, you spend the rest of your days mining while she lives a lavish lifestyle." Paul said.

"That is sick and demented in every sense of the word…" David said.

"However…Steal Hand!" Paul said as he went and stole the collars right off their necks.

"Nice one." Ryoma said.

"Homura…" Paul said handing Homura the B-Cube. "That object you hold is the record of Valkyrie's truth."

And so….they watched as the B-Cube played and displayed the truth. While Valkyrie and Homura lived a peaceful life on Oedo, Valkyrie knew she could not be a perfect mother. So…she left for Mildian and asked Xiaomei the location of Homura's birth mother, who happened to be right on Sun Jewel.

"So…Homura's mother…who is she?" Ace asked.

"She happens to be the one ruling over us. Lady Kurenai." Paul said.

"Wait, seriously? Kurenai is Homura's mother?" David asked.

"She wasn't always a lady. She was a laborer like many of us. However, Valkyrie decided to take on her debt so she could reunite with Homura. However…she did not go back. She married the previous baron, had him assassinated, and then took control of the planet for herself." Paul said.

"So, she took advantage of Valkyrie's trust and is now ruling this planet with an iron fist." Leonora said. "All she's doing is making the people experience what she went through."

"What a self-centered heartless bitch." Ace said.

"Soon after, she flooded the poverty district with a number of Stones. Valkyrie fought them off on her own." Paul said as they left the mine and headed into the labor camp. "And well…" he said pointing ahead as Homura approached what used to be Valkyrie, with her sword in the ground and a smile on her face.

"A smile on her face… She died with no regrets." David said.

"..." A2 was silent as she clenched her fists.

"Teacher…this can't be…" Homura cried as she stood before her.

"Valkyrie died…trying to protect the prisoners of Sun Jewel…she was thinking of all of us." Paul said crying as well.

"But…she's a machine. She can be fixed, right?" Ajna asked.

"Unfortunately not. She's an android, when their core stops…it's the same thing as death." Jet said.

"He's right." A2 said. "My comrades suffered the same fate…"

"Doesn't matter how much you fix her…Valkyrie isn't coming back." Jet said.

"Jet." 9S said.

"You want me to sugarcoat it for her? Lie to her? Hell no. Death comes for us all eventually. Whether you're machine…or human." Jet said as he was also in tears.

"Jet's right. Even machines expire eventually." Fulgore said. "We can be rebuilt into newer models, sure, but even then it wouldn't be the same. The core is a machine's soul, and it can never be replaced."

"Not even their memories as well." 2B said.

"So… what do we do now?" Noel asked.

"What else?" David asked. "We knock Kurenai off her high horse ourselves for everything she has done."

"Hmm…David…Hope…Shiki…my co-leaders…let's go for a walk." Jexi said.

"S-sure." David said.

In the Gold Palace…

"Targeting the labor camp with the crimson eye." said an attendant alien.

"Are you sure? There are tens of thousands of people in there." Nino said.

"There's no more money to be made from them. May as well be done with that eyesore. Plus no longer will I have put up with uprisings or that disgusting android Valkyrie." Kurenai said.

"But I thought she saved your life." Nino said.

"No. I just used her as the tool she is. See I left that worthless child of mine behind on purpose. Like I would ever go into motherhood." Kurenai said as she laughed before the people there heard a window smash as they saw Shiki and the ones Jexi called out, standing there.

"Which one of you is Kurenai?" Dan asked.

"Who's asking?" Kurenai asked.

"So it's you. We're bringing you to Homura." Shiki said.

"And that's not a request." Hope said.

"Homura? What's she doing on this planet? Is she mad at me? Or is the crybaby sobbing over the fact that I abandoned her?" Kurenai said.

"We prefer you ask her that yourself." David said. "One way or another, this is the end of the line."

"Sorry but your plan isn't going to work. I'm not at all interested in having a daughter." Kurenai said.

Shiki growled as the floor cracked and collapsed.

"What the heck? The floor is collapsing!" Nino said.

David smirks. "Going down."

They went down a single floor.

"We're bringing you back to Homura. But first…we'll knock some sense into you!" Jexi said.

"My my. I'm shaking in my high heels." Kurenai laughed. The battle for Sun Jewel was about to begin.
