Robin had been in recovery for a week after her six-hundred-and-fifty-mile teleportation. Robin had trained herself to teleport, the furthest she had ever gone before was maybe fifty feet. It was a physically draining process for sure. Then she had jumped in on the fight with Gordon. What had powered that would have had to have been adrenaline, because that was about all that she had left.

Since then, she had basically been bed ridden. Bobby had been doing all he could to nurse her back to health, with a verbal jab every now and then. He knew why she did it. Gordon was a terrifying teammate to have on a hunt. Bobby was still not willing to trade his daughter's wellbeing for the Winchesters.

She had been around the Roadhouse once or twice since it all went down, and there were murmurs. The Singers were typically very careful to listen for any rumors about leads in the hunting community, and most were willing to open up to Bobby considering how helpful he was to them. Typically, they would be on high alert for anything that would lead them back to Robin, but right now the gossip was Sam. There were talks of physics and their connections to a demon with yellow eyes, what's more, that Sam was one of them.

"So, if he is" Robin asked, "What is your plan"?

"I don't know" Bobby shrugged.

"Ok" Robin snapped, "What would you want for me if someone found out"?

Bobby paused and looked at her, "It's hittin close to home huh"?

"Very" she nodded.

"What would you want", Bobby asked?

"We protect him" she nodded, "And if he needs reassurance, I can tell-".

"No" Bobby stated, "He could get into a tight spot and- ".

"I really don't think he would dad" she argued.

"I'm not willing to take the chance" Bobby replied, "Now I can agree to protect him. Then if some day it comes out, we pray the Winchesters repay the kindness".

Robin's phone rang, "It's Ellen. Hello"?

"Robin Singer, where the hell is m daughter" Ellen shouted on the other line?

"Whoa" Robin replied, "What do you mean"?

"Don't you play dumb with me young lady, you two tell each other everything".

"Uh apparently not".

"You really don't know" Ellen asked?

"I really don't Ellen" Robin replied.

"Oh god".

"Is she okay"?

"I think she took off with them".

"Who"?

"The Winchester boys".

"Were they working a case"?

"She had been" Ellen paused, "If she was with you, I know you would have had her back but- ".

"Ok Ellen" Robin nodded, "I'll make a few calls".

"What the hell was that", Bobby asked from the doorway?

"Sounds like Jo took off with the Winchesters for a hunt" Robin replied, "Ellen is having a meltdown. But why? If she's with them".

"Ellen's outlook on all of this will be very different than mine" Bobby explained. "With you, you were raised by hunters, all of your life. Jo was raised mostly by a hunter's wife. You are…what you are".

"A witch dad" Robin replied. He knew what she was, but he had never straight up said the word.

"Well in an emergency, there is that" Bobby replied, "Not to mention, you're a lot harder to kill. And- "Bobby trailed off.

"What" Robin asked?

"Jo doesn't know this" Bobby explained, "Or at least she doesn't remember".

"What Dad"?

"John Winchester killed her father".

"I'm sorry what" Robin asked?

"He was being possessed" Bobby explained, "Bill begged him to kill him. Ellen was furious, and though she forgave John- ".

"Her baby is still on the road with the sons of the man that killed her husband" Robin nodded.

Bobby nodded in agreement.

Robin thought for a second, "I gotta make some calls dad".

"Hello" Jo picked up?

"Hey" Robin replied, "Where are you? Know what don't tell me".

"Why not" Jo laughed?

"I want plausible deniability" Robin snapped, "I just got my head bit off by your mom".

"She thought I was with you"?

"She was hoping" Robin paused, "And now that I think of it, yeah, what the hell, why am I not with you"?

"You have been really sick" Jo shot back, "I need A game only for this one".

"Then what the hell are you doing there" Robin replied, "You've been on two hunts ever".

"Thanks mom" Jo snapped back.

"I'm sorry" Robin replied, "Tell me you have decent backup".

"The Winchesters".

Robin cringed, "K" she paused, "Can I talk to one of them"?

"Are you going to tell them to bring me home"?

"Jo, you have wanted to be a hunter as long as I have. I'm not shitting on your dream" she replied. "I plan to threaten their lives if you don't come back in one piece".

"Well in that case, I'll get Dean for you".

The next voice Robin heard was Dean "Hello"?

"Man are you in shit".

"Why"?

"Ellen is ready to kill you" Robin replied.

"Is it that bad" Dean asked?

"I'm going to go see her and calm her down" Robin replied, "Or try to".

"Thanks".

"Don't thank me yet" Robin replied, "She better not have a scratch on her when you guys get back".

"We'll take care of her" Dean assured her.

"Make sure you do" Robin replied, "Because if something happens to her, there isn't a place on this earth you will be able to hide, from either of us".

Robin got on her bike and headed to the Roadhouse to check on Ellen. When she got there, no lights were on, and the place was quiet. When Robin went inside, she was greeted with a "The bar is closed".

"It's cool" Robin replied, "My birthday is next month, so you won't serve me anyway".

"Did you hear from her" Ellen begged rushing to Robin.

"I did", Robin replied, "She's fine".

"She's with them" Ellen snapped.

"Yes" Robin nodded, "But Ellen, these two have had my back in more than one hunt. I trust them with my life".

"I don't" Ellen shouted.

"I know" Robin said quietly, "And I understand why".

"Bobby told you".

Robin nodded, "They're not John. In so many ways they are not like him. John was always the mission. Sam is so much more thoughtful and that has rubbed off on Dean. Not to mention pretty sure Dean has a thing for Jo".

"Is that supposed to make me feel better" Ellen asked?

"It was" Robin cringed, "I can't remember exactly why".

"She's all I have left".

"I know" Robin nodded, "I did tell Dean, she comes back in one piece, or you and I would hunt him down".

Ellen grinned at her, grabbed a beer and placed it on the counter, "good girl".

"Seriously" Robin asked?

"Everything you said, you could have said to me over the phone" Ellen replied, "You're here to keep me company right"?

"Until she walks back through that door" Robin nodded.

"Then yes seriously" Ellen nodded, "You're close enough, and no one wants to drink alone".

Robin woke up the next day to the sound of Ellen shouting into the phone. "Put my damn daughter on the phone". There was silence for a moment, "Yeah, right. Where is she? Where is she"?!

Robin got up, rubbed her eyes.

"Get her back, back from what" Ellen demanded?

This got Robin's attention, and she scrambled for her phone. It was a fifty-fifty shot who Ellen was talking to, but Robin had a guess, and called Sam.

"Sam, talk to me" Robin said quietly as she headed for the door.

"H. " Sam replied. "Seems his ghost is still haunting his victim type. This building was built on the old prison, where he died".

"And you can't salt the bones" Robin replied, "because his remains were encased in cement to avoid desecration of the body".

"Correct" Sam replied.

"So, what if you contained him" Robin replied?

"I mean we could with salt, but beyond that" Sam explained.

"Leave that part to me", I'll be in touch". Robin hopped on her bike and set off home.

When she got in the door Bobby greeted her, "Joe home"?

"Nope" Robin replied, "vengeful spirit of H.H. Holmes has her".

"Shit" Bobby replied, "And you can't burn the bones-".

"Body is in cement" Robin nodded, "I know". She stopped in her tracks, "cement, that's it".

Robin rushed to her laptop. She popped up municipal plans for anything in the area that was being resurfaced or would require a cement mixer.

"What have you got" Bobby asked her?

"They can't get rid of him, they can't get the remains" she explained, "containment is their only option, which would be iron and where are they going to get that much iron? But if they could get him in a circle of salt, that would contain him".

"Salt is a temporary fix" Bobby replied.

"Unless they encased the ring of salt around him in cement" Robin explained.

"You might have something there" Bobby nodded.

"I have the address for their building" she explained. "There is a company called Penn stone working four blocks away, they have a cement truck".

The Singers sat waiting for about an hour for the call.

"So, he's contained" Dean's voice boomed, "now what"?

"Can you drive a cement truck" Robin asked, "And what name am I giving the company"?

Robin was waiting in the bar with Ash when Ellen burst in the door dragging Jo behind her. She had gotten so angry when Jo had been taken, she flew out and drove them home. Robin jumped to her feet and hugged Jo.

"You done" Ellen asked?

"Yes" Robin replied apprehensively.

"Good" nodded Ellen, grabbing Robin by the arm and throwing her out the door.

Robin was greeted by the Winchesters as she stumbled to stay on her feet. A few minutes passed and Jo shot out the door. Both Robin and Dean chased after, judging by the look on her face, Ellen had told her.

"That bad, huh" Dean asked?

"Not right now" Jo snapped.

"What happened?" Dean asked grabbing her hand "Hey, talk to me".

"Get off me" Jo shouted!

"Give her space Winchester" Robin shouted.

"Sorry. See you around" Dean snapped.

As he turned to leave, Jo spun around, "Dean. It turns out my dad had a partner on his last hunt" she started, "Funny, he usually worked alone; this guy did too, but... I guess my father figured he could trust him. Mistake. Guy screwed up, got my dad killed".

"What does this have to do with—"

"It was your father, Dean".

"What"?

"Why do you think John never came back? Never told you about us" she questioned "Because he couldn't look my mom in the eye after that, that's why".

"Jo".

"Just... just get out of here. Please, just leave".

"Head to the salvage yard" Robin finally spoke up, "Dad and I needed to meet with you two".

Sam walked up and put a hand on Dean's shoulder, "Okay" he nodded, "We'll see you back there. Come on Dean".

The boys did as they were told and drove away. Jo and Robin sat in silence for a few minutes. Jo finally broke the silence, "did you know" she asked?

"I found out while you were away" Robin replied, "dad told me, and I came to be with your mom".

"Thanks for that" Jo mumbled.

"It wasn't exactly something you share over the phone" Robin defended.

"No" Jo agreed, "you made the right call".

"Jo, I never would have brought-" Robin explained.

"No, I know" she nodded, tears trailing down her face. Robin didn't hold back anymore and hugged her friend. The two girls dropped to the ground holding each other.

"I feel like I betrayed him" she whispered.

"Are you kidding me" Robin chuckled, "he would have been so proud of you".

"But the man who killed him-".

"Is dead" Robin interrupted, "they are not John, Jo. Not by a long shot".

The girls sat in silence for a few minutes.

"Remember when we went hunting with Gordon" Robin asked, "how scared I was"?

"Yeah" Jo chuckled, "to be fair he was pretty intense".

"Yeah, well that's how I felt every time I was on a hunt with John" she explained, "and I stayed at the motel. But those boys? I would trust them with my life".

Jo nodded.

"Dean is a good guy" Robin explained, "don't punish the son for the sins of the father".

"Joanna" Ellen shouted from behind them, "you come on in now, we still need to talk".

The girls got to their feet and made their way back to the roadhouse. Robin walked over to her bike.

"Robin" Ellen called over, "thank you".

Robin nodded and headed home. When she walked through the door of her house she was greeted by her dad and the Winchesters.

"Is Jo okay" Dean asked?

"Not really" Robin shrugged, "but she'll get there".

"I didn't know" Dean shook his head.

"How could you" Robin asked, "you didn't even know they existed until recently". "

How was Ellen" Bobby asked?

"Also, not great" Robin added, "but they're together now, so that will help".

"That was quick thinking with the cement truck" Sam added in, trying to change the subject.

"It really was wasn't it" Robin smiled?

"Seriously Robin" Dean added, "you saved our asses back there".

"Always" she nodded brushing it off. "Now" she said heading for the fridge and grabbing beers for everyone, "which of you are going to tell us what the story is with these rumors"?

"What rumors" Dean asked?

"The rumors that Sam has psychic abilities".
