Rihanna's POV:
Darkness. All my eyes could see was...eternal darkness.
My memory was weak and my body felt oddly...cold. My eyes didn't want to open,not once. But while I couldn't move my body,I knew I had to wake up.
I forcefully open my eyes and blink them three times,trying to get a good vision of where I am.
Once my vision is finally clear,I see some type of large see-through tube surrounding my body? My eyes dart to the left corner,noticing a box of vials with all of them having unknown purple liquid in them. Where am I exactly?...
As the question kept swarming around my head,I looked down at my body to notice something...off...about it...
I see that I am wearing...a red jumpsuit with a white collar and red shoes with white straps? No,I can't possibly be who I think I am--
I take a look at my arms that seem to be spread out from themselves along with my legs. Another thing that I noticed was off was that not only was I wearing white gloves on my hands but...
MY SKIN IS BLUE!?!?!?!?
My eyes blink twice in confusion. I was mostly concerned and confused then scared. But there's no need to panic! I mean-- I'm sure this is all just a dream or some figment of my imagination! I can't possibly be him,right!?
"What?..." I mumble tiredly,squinting my eyes still looking at my arms. My arms and legs squirmed underneath the metal cuffs that were keeping me down from escaping. It's no use...Whoever made this knew what they were doing,and I can't escape no matter what I do.
I then see a familiar figure slam their face against the tube that I was in. Wow,manners much?
The figure was a small robot with a yellow cube shaped head and neon blue eyes. "Wow! You look really pretty as a girl!" It/He exclaimed. Whatever it/he was sounded like a crackhead. But a familiar crackhead...I took a deep look at its details and face. Wait--
"Cubot?" I mumbled. His eyes seem to light up when I said his name. He let out a small cute gasp,"She remembers my name!". He puts his yellow gloved hand on his head and dramatically faints. Okay...?
Another robot that looked like Cubot went up to the tube I was in,except this robot had a red orb shaped head. He still had the neon blue eyes though.
He squinted his eyes,looking down at Cubot with annoyance. He put his red gloved hand on Cubots head to keep him down. The red robot looks back at me and says in a polite tone,"Ignore this nincompoop,ma'am".
"Who are you calling a nincompoop!?" Cubot yells underneath the other robot. The red robot looks back at me,shrugging his arms and smiling innocently.
I couldn't help but giggle slightly at this. "You two are so cute-- Wait,Orbot?". I paused my sentence and examined the robot. No wonder he seemed so familiar!
Orbot nods,"Yes,miss! How did you know?".
Before I could answer Orbot's question,someone shoves both Orbot and Cubot away from me. Wow,rude.
"Out of the way,buffoons!" I heard a voice yell at the two poor robots. Wait-- That voice. I know that voice!
A fat man with a mustache and black goggles steps in front of my tube.
"Dr. Eggman!" I yell,furrowing my eyebrows.
"Hohoho! It's nice to see that you still remember me even as a girl,Sonic. Wait-- What am I talking about? It's not nice at all" Egghead says.
I crocked an eyebrow. "Sonic? What are you talking about,Egghead?".
For those who don't know,my name is Rihanna. I am 14 and a half years old,going to be 15 soon in December. I am just an average human girl who loves anime and video games. There's nothing special about me. I'm just like everyone else. So...Why would Egghead be so interested in someone like me?
Eggman interrupts my thoughts by raising a small mirror in front of my face. He says,"See for yourself...".
I look straight into the mirror. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My eyes were as widened as saucers.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?!?!?!?".
What I saw in the reflection was me...but as a FEMALE VERSION of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!?
Eggman pulled the mirror away from my face and began laughing. "Wow! You don't remember yourself as a girl? How ridiculous can you possibly get,hedgehog?". His laughter rang in my now hedgehog ears.
Tears filled up my now emerald green eyes. "T-This can't be happening...I'm...no longer human?" I mumbled to myself,wiping some of the tears from my eyes. I may have not been the most beautiful or cutest girl in the world,but that doesn't mean that I didn't love myself. I loved my human body and everything about myself. Now...I'm an ugly blue hedgehog who can now only be used for experiments.
Eggman snaps his fingers,making me look up to him with my teary emerald eyes. I sniffled as he said,"Alright enough with the drama,crybaby! Gosh! I mean,I know you cry sometimes but I didn't know you were a water fountain! Now,let's get back into my plan".
I stopped crying,gasping a bit while still looking at him,"Plan? What plan?".
He only replies with,"My plan to destroy you with my ultimate laser,of course".
My eyes widen,full of fear in them. I stutter,"P-Please don't...".
But Eggman,being Eggman,completely ignored me and looks back to Orbot and Cubot. "I think I finally won for once" I hear Eggman mumble.
"Congratulations,Sir/Boss!" Orbot and Cubot cheer. Eggman glares at them,"Don't cheer. You're ruining my moment".
As Eggman starts powering up the laser,I prepare to shut my eyes close. I thought,"This is it...I'm finally going to die...And I didn't even get to see what my future was going to be like...".
Before the laser could touch any area of my body,I hear the sound of something or someone breaking through a window. Sounds of glass shattering and pieces landing on the floor were heard too.
"What-- What are you doing here!?" Eggman screeches.
"Sorry,Eggman! But it appears you get,yet another F- on your little science project!" I hear another voice. It sounds like a boy. Is that--
My emerald green eyes see a blurry figure jump up to the tube surrounding me. The figure appeared to have been holding a device with an antenna and a big red button on it. The figure pushes the red button,causing the tube around me to disappear. Thank God.
My vision became clear as I saw who the figure was. My eyes sparkled with happiness. "Tails!" I exclaim,delighted to see him.
"Sonic!" He also smiles,hugging me. He then lets go of me and looks at me surprised,"Whoa! What happened to you?". I reply,"It's a long story. But could you help me here and then I can explain later?". "Oh right! Sorry!".
Tails pulls out a tiny silver key from his brown satchel and inserts it to the keyholes of the metal cuffs on my arms and legs.
As the cuffs drop to the floor,I sigh in relief. Suddenly,I am swept off my feet. I look up to see who was carrying me and surprisingly...IT WAS TAILS!?
My cheeks couldn't help but change to a dark shade of red. Since when was he so confident about stuff like this!?
He looks down at me in his arms and gives me a light smile,"Hold on". "A-Alright..." I stutter. "WHY AM I BLUSHING!?" I mentally screamed.
As he starts running with me in his arms to his plane,we're immediately stopped by some of Eggman's minions/robots.
Tails puts me down. "Stay behind me" he orders me. I nod,hiding behind him. I whimper in fear,my legs shaking a bit. I see Tails' baby blue eyes darken. He then pulls out a yellow boomerang and throws it at the minions,but he ends up missing.
The minions began laughing at Tails' attempt. Each of them began coming closer to us. I was scared,but I could tell Tails wasn't terrified one bit. Suddenly,the boomerang came back and when the minions had least expected it,the boomerang and destroyed every one of them.
I sigh in relief. The two of us run towards the Tornado. Tails is the first to hop into the plane. "Take my hand!" he exclaims,extending his hand out for me to take. I nod,not having much of a choice,taking his hand and throwing myself in the plane.
As soon as the two of us are in the Tornado,we buckle our seatbelts and take off.
We were finally away from Egghead and somewhere safe. Well,we were flying in the air,but still. It could've been worse.
I turn to Tails,who was still flying the plane,and asked him. "How did you know where I was at?". Tails replied with a smug face,"Well,I may or may not have placed a tracking device on one of your shoes".
"YOU WHAT!?!?" I yelp,my blue quills standing up from my skin.
Tails sweatdrops a bit,"N-Now hear me out! The only reason why I did it was because Orbot,Cubot,and I made a deal!".
I furrowed an eyebrow,"What kind of deal?". I was suspicious at this point.
Tails said,"To explain to you in the simplest way possible,I found you laying unconscious in Green Hills,which was the exact same time I also found Orbot and Cubot. The two of them asked if they could borrow you for something that was extremely important. I asked them if it was anything dangerous,to which they replied no. Considering they work for Eggman,I still had a bad feeling of what they would do to you. So I carefully placed a tracker on your shoe to see if you were in any danger. Turns out you were. Luckily,I was also able to create a secret hidden camera in the tracker,so I was able to see everything that was going on".
"Wow...My head hurts just from all that explaining..." I said,my eyes having anime swirls in them. Tails just chuckled.
Tails then asked me,"How did you even become a girl in the first place?".
"I'm not quite sure" I replied.
"Well...Even if you're a girl,I still care about you! You're still my friend,and you're actually pretty as a girl!" Tails says,grinning like a little child.
It felt like my stomach was starting to do backflips and my head felt like it was spinning. My cheeks were starting to heat up again. I covered my face from embarrassment and look away from Tails.
"Aww~Is someone blushing?~" Tails teased. "W-What? Shut up!" I exclaim through my hands. Tails chuckled again but just said,"Okay okay".
"So...Now that you're a girl...I guess I shouldn't call you Sonic anymore,huh? Then what should I call you?" Tails asks. I just shrug,not knowing how to answer.
"How about Sonica or Sonny? Sonia?".
"Please no" I said strictly.
Tails giggles.
Tails put a finger under his chin. It takes him a while to think of something,but then he decides to say...
"What about Elise?".
...
"No no. Don't ever say that again!" I glare playfully. Tails giggles again.
I hummed in thought. Silence fell between the two of us. Until I thought of a great idea...
"Rihanna" was all I said. Tails looked at me tilting his head cutely,"Rihanna? Are you sure about that?". I cleared my throat before clasping my gloved hands together and flashing puppy dog eyes with my now sparkling emerald green eyes. "Pleaseeeeeee,Tails?".
I noticed that Tails' cheeks turned a little bit of a light pink. He huffed and looked away from my gaze,crossing his arms. "D-Don't do that! Fine,Rihanna".
I gasp,excitement sparking up in my emerald green eyes. I couldn't believe it! He said my real name!
"Yay! Thank you!" I smiled brightly,hugging Tails from behind his seat.
He yelped,"C-Careful! I'm still flying this thing!". I smile once again...
"Tails! Knuckles! Amy! Anyone! Where are you!?".
