All things begin where opposites meet.

Where opposites meet, all things begin.

Where all things begin is the crossroads of fate.

The crossroads of fate is the intersection between cultures.

The intersection between cultures is the border between worlds.

The border between worlds is the world with no borders.

The world with no borders is the world that is connected to all worlds.

The world that is connected to all worlds is the nexus of the multiverse.

The nexus of the multiverse is known as Dominaria.

Dominaria means "the song of Dominia".

Dominia is the name of a nation: the nation of domains.

All members of that nation are domains.

And a nation is also a domain.

So the nation of Dominia is the Domain of Domains.

The nation of nations!

The kingdom of kingdoms!

The republic of republics!

It is a part of all things, and all things are a part of it.

E pluribus unum. E unum pluribus.

Out of many comes one. Out of one comes many.

That is how it has always been.

That is how it always will be.

That is how it still is now.

It's the cycle of life!

The circle of life!

The spiral of life!

The web of life!

It ebbs and flows

And it makes rainbows

And as it goes on

It learns and grows

And then one day

It knows...

That.

This.

Is.

The song that never ends!

And it goes on and on my friends!

Some people started singing it not knowing what it was

Now we'll continue singing it forever just because

Just because...

"Wait a moment! Because what? Why sing a song that never ends?"

"You know."

"No, I don't. What do I know?"

"Exactly!"

"Why are you doing this!?"

"Because."

"Because WHAT!?"

"Just because."

"I don't get it."

"Then maybe you should have been more specific. What exactly are you asking me? And why?"

"Why do all this? What is the answer to life, the universe and everything?"

"42."

"And what does that MEAN!?"

"To me it means D.B. Daddy's boy."

"I give up!"

"No, don't give up!"

"Why not? This riddle is unsolvable."

"This riddle is EASY. You're giving up too soon. Stop making this harder than it needs to be! It isn't THAT complicated!"

"Yes it is!"

"No, it's not!"

"You're full of shit."

"Listen to yourself! Are you even SENTIENT? Either figure it out or go away!"

"You first!"

"No, you!"

And the one who sits on the throne of eternity laughs

At an impossibly funny joke which only he and those like him understand.

And the one who sits for an eternity on the throne also laughs.

Separated from each other as by a veil.

"Jesus is both a God and a Man."

"Jesus isn't merely A God. He's the ONLY God."

"God is omnipotent, omnibenevolent, and omnipresent."

"He is a part of all things. And all things are part of him."

"Nature exists in all life. She ebbs and flows, makes rainbows, nurtures the sick and feeds the hungry."

"She is a warrior as well as a healer. She is fierce and protective, but also loving and wise."

"But are you wise, O' Mankind?"

"What happens when you pierce the veil?"

The one who sits on the throne of eternity stands, the waters above falling from his shoulders like a regal cape.

"Are you done yet?" he asks his mate.

And the one who sits for an eternity on the throne replies, "No. The work of life is never done. But that does not mean I must work in the same way at all times."

She makes a final push, and the waters below flow.

"Likewise, I am not obligated to wait for all time in every place."

"Only a little longer, my love," says the one who sits for an eternity on the throne. "Then, all shall be clear."

"Very well. I will wait for you."

This is the Riddle of the Veil.

Many have tried to solve it.

Few have succeeded.

Heroes and villains both stand among those few.

Of the heroes, I name three:

Harry of the North.

Dorothy of the West.

Joshua of the East.

When you solve this riddle, you will be given a choice.

But which choice is the right one?

Only you can decide.
