Did I seriously write a 5K fic based on one measly trailer? Why yes, yes, I did. I can't believe we're getting Kingdom Hearts 4 not long after 3 I mean I know it will probably be another 2 to 3 years until the game comes out but I have a great feeling the game will come out sooner than KH3. The trailer already looks amazing and looks like it's got quite a bit of polish but what do I know about video game development it could still be a good few years away, but I can see it coming out in late 2023 or early 2024 the longest 2025 or 6. Which isn't that bad compared to the develupment hell KH3 went through, I'm sure we'll have plenty of content to keep us busy including this fic. I've been developing this concept since Remind and I never even finished the DLC, but I have a good idea what happened.
It was the greatest shock of their lives. Their old foe Xigbar was an ancient Keyblade Master from the past. With the return of the Foretellers and a new threat on the nigh. The Guardians of Light will be facing their biggest challenge yet. But soon, they'll find that the lost masters will be the least of their worries.
Dakota Natalie was asleep in her room, the final battle with Master Xehanort was exhausting, but at least she and her friends made it out alive. It was a relief to know their arch-nemesis was now resting in pace, but it was hard to relax with the reveal of Luxu. But threat or no threat Dakota still found comfort in her dreams.
It was kind of odd, she was expecting another dream vision or something romantic between her and Ven, but there was nothing. It was pitch black the world around her was dark as far as her eyes could see. Even though it was pretty calming, she could swear she heard the clash of weapons in the distance, and they were only getting louder. She turned to see a portal opening to reveal the source of the noise, and her eyes widened in shock as she saw Sora fighting a man with silver hair.
"Was that Yozora?" She wondered, but that wasn't the end of it. A young girl with long brown hair, white angel wings, and a long pink and yellow gown fought by Sora's side.
"Is that me?!" Dakota yelled, locking eyes with her other-self. The other girl spun to face the sudden outburst and was struck silent at the sight of her counterpart. The world went still as the two girls stared at each other. The blackness seemed to return, and nothing else mattered except the mystery of this other Dakota.
"Are, are you me." The other Dakota spoke,
The real Dakota didn't know how to respond. In all her years, she's never seen an alternate version of herself before. Sure, she's seen alternate versions of other people but never of herself or her friends. She has to admit it was as strange as she thought.
"Can you hear me?" The other spoke, her voice felt distant and far away, like she was fading away, but somehow the real Dakota found her voice.
"Yes, I can." She replied,
"Where are you? Where did you come from?" The Princess followed up,
"I'm in Destiny Islands. I come from Earth."
"Wait, so you didn't disappear?" The other asked,
"Disappear? Why would I disappear?!" Dakota exclaimed, feeling slightly alarmed,
"The Power of Waking, Sora and I used it to save Kairi. Was she not stuck down by Xehanort?"
"Kairi never died to Xehanort's hands. I saved her. She's just fine. What's this about the Power of Awaking?" The brunette questioned,
"Sora and I used the power to save Kairi; unfortunately, it took our existence away. I have no idea where we are, this man, Yozora attacked us out of nowhere; we don't even know what he wants." The other Dakota explained,
"So that was him." Dakota said to herself, "Do you need help? Is there anything we can do?"
"I don't think so. Something tells me you can't reach us. I wouldn't mind the help, but it's not possible this world isn't reachable by normal means." The other girl explained,
"There must be something we can do. Your friends need you. The Foretellers are back, and so is Luxu!"
"Wait, the Foretellers? The Lost Masters of the ancient past? How is that even possible they're long gone."
"Xigbar brought them back. He's the reincarnation of Luxu. You have to be careful. They could be dangerous." The real Dakota explained hastily,
"Xigbar? I always knew there was more to him." The other frowned in thought, she faced her doppelganger and was about to speak when the dark became hazy, and the other Dakota began to fade away.
"Wait, where are you going?!" Dakota yelled, reaching a handout,
"I don't know?! Dakota? I can't see you anymore!"
"Wait, don't go. We'll find you and Sora, I promise." The real girl promised as she returned to the waking world.
"I know you will." The doppelganger's final words rang,
Dakota woke up; the shock was still fresh in her mind. There's another her. Out of all the times she could be faced with herself, it had to be now. Dakota didn't waste time as she ran out of her room to alert her friends. Shortly after the explanation, the gang realized Master Yen Sid should know more. After reaching the Tower, the aged sorcerer was quite shocked about the discovery.
"And so, it seems my other self and Sora are trapped in some kind of purgatory," Dakota explained,
"Master Yen Sid, what do you make of this?" Mickey asked, turning to face his mentor,
The elderly wizard hummed in thought, stroking his long beard. "It seems the recent return of the Foretellers has caused a rift in our dimension. Luxu's method of summoning them is an old forbidden use of time travel that even I haven't gained an understanding of. It seems Dakota's dream was an interdimensional rift caused by Luxu's interference."
"Is there anything we can do?" Aqua wondered,
"At this point in time, I have no idea, but Luxu must be stopped at all costs, and we'll need to find a way to close the rifts before they tear a hole into the space-time continuum."
"Surely, you have an idea of what we can do, right?" Emily spoke,
Yen Sid nodded, "There are many pathways that one can take, and it seems there are many questions and loose ends that need to be tied. The identity of Subject X, who Isa and Lea were friends with. The motives of Luxu and the Foretellers. And, of course, Ventus's connections to the Dandelions and his roles in the past. And now this alternate universe where Kairi wasn't saved, and Sora gave up his existence abusing the Power of Waking."
"But that's not all. There's another me who might be tied to royalty. You should have seen the transformation. It wasn't like mine. It looked like Twilight's coronation gown. She's more than just my lookalike. She's a real princess." Dakota explained,
"That's crazy. I never expected this to get so deep." Emily gasped,
"I wonder what we're like in this alternative universe?" Chloe pondered,
"It doesn't matter if there are alternative versions of us or not. The point is. There's another Sora and Dakota out there, and they need help. If the Foretellers are in our universe, who's to say they're not in theirs." Amy suggested,
"Gwosh, there must be some way we can reach out to them," Goofy noted, scratching his head,
"We can't; Goofy, even my magic has its limits," Donald replied,
"Actually, there is someone who could help, it's a long shot, and I don't know if they'll answer, but it's the best choice we have," Emily said,
"We'll take our chances." Sora nodded,
"Okay, I'll reach out to them once we get back home. I'll let you know what they said." Emily stated,
"Good, it seems like you have a plan of action. Remember to be careful. This plain is something we know very little about. There's a good chance Luxu has plans for it as well. Proceed with caution, and may your hearts be your guided keys." Yen Sid bowed, and everyone followed suit and went their separate ways.
When she got home, Emily immediately went to her laptop and shot an old friend an e-mail.
Hey, Joshua, I know it's been a few years, but we need your help.
Funny, I was about to reach out too. I could use your help as well. I'll spear you the details for now, but there's this reality the higher plains have been overseeing that's being invaded by Heartless.
After a bit of back and forth, Joshua told Emily to meet him in Twilight Town with the others. Sitting at a table near the Bistro, the group waited patiently for their old friend to show up.
"So, Emily, when's our old friend showing up?" Sora questioned, leaning back in his chair,
The fisty angel checked her phone and faced the boy, "They should be here soon. They're not the type to be late."
"I hope not. We're risking a lot doing this," Riku stated,
Speaking of which, who is staying and who is going?" Dakota wondered, "If the Foretellers try to attack somewhere while we're out, that could be bad."
"Roxas and the gang are staying to try to find Subject X. Naminé is continuing research into the past and is also on the lookout for the former Organization Members Even, Ienzo, and even Demyx is helping," Riku explained,
"And don't forget Vanitas and I are training under Master Aqua and Terra. I want to continue getting stronger so I can protect you all." Kairi spoke up,
"Right, thanks for reminding me." The silver-haired boy smiled,
"Alright, it looks like it's me and my group Sora, Riku, Ventus, Mabel, and Rory. Pretty good search party." Dakota recapped,
"Yeah, bring on the new world!" Sora cheered,
"Well, aren't we all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed." A male voice spoke. Everyone turned to face a tall boy with blond wavey hair.
"Joshua!" They exclaimed,
"Hello everyone, long time no see. So, I heard there's an alternative Dakota and Sora running around." Joshua said,
"Wow, Joshua, you look older," Dakota noted,
"How is that possible? You're dead!" Emily followed up,
Joshua giggled, "Well, considering my boyfriend can still age, I figured I should keep up with him."
"Your boyfriend?!" Everyone yelled,
"Hey, sorry I'm late. Joshua, I told you to wait for me."
"Ah, there you are, Neku, sorry, but I couldn't wait to see our old friends. I'm sure you all remember my partner, right?"
"You're dating Neku?!" Emily exclaimed,
Neku looked away with an embarrassed blush. "Uh, yeah, Josh and I have kind of been a thing for a while."
"Sweet congratulations, Neku. I'm happy for you." Sora beamed, giving the orange-haired boy a thumbs up.
"Thanks, Sora." Neku smiled,
"So, I guess now's a good time for me to explain why I came here. I require some help too."
"What can we do for you, Josh?" Chloe wondered,
"You see, the other world that the other Sora and Dakota are in is a plane of existence called Unreality. It's a dimension that lacks any and all magical properties. In a way, you could say this reality is among the realm that Dakota and her friends come from. In other words, their world."
"So, is our world in trouble?" The Princess of Friendship worried,
"No, this world is still connected to this universe, but if the problem continues, the Heartless might find a way to break out and cause chaos in universes they don't belong in." The Composure explained,
"So, this world is more like Dakota and the other's world. So, why do you want our help?" Sora wondered,
"The reason I needed your help is because the world of Quadratum is being invaded by Heartless. It should be theoretically impossible for them to spawn, but I've caught word that an old foe of yours has been meddling with time."
Everyone nodded, "Yeah, he's actually a Keyblade Master from the past, but that's not important for now." Sora stated,
"Are you sure? that seems pretty important to me." Neku spoke,
"He's right, Neku. We need to stick to the problem at hand. So, I can take you to the world with no problem, but I need you to help me in return. If we don't do something soon, many people could die. The people there aren't like the ones from your realm. They're innocent bystanders that know nothing about the Keyblade."
"You don't need to bargain, Josh. Of course, we'll help you. Anyone in trouble of getting corrupted by the Heartless is worth saving." Dakota agreed,
"I knew you'd say yes. I hope you have your things ready because you won't be able to return for a while." Joshua said,
"We're ready. We said our goodbyes a while ago. Most of our friends are on their own adventure." Riku stated,
"Great, well then, right this way." The smug blond said, opening a portal one by one. Everyone went in, but Sora stayed behind to say goodbye to Kairi.
"It won't be forever, and besides, I'm counting on you to hold down the fort with Aqua, Terra, Donald, and Goofy. We can't let our enemies win." He said sternly.
"I won't, and who knows, maybe I'll be the one to save you this time." Kairi winked,
"Yeah, I wouldn't mind that." Sora smiled, "Goodbye, Kairi. I'll see you when I get back." He said, kissing her forehead,
"Goodbye, Sora, be safe out there." She replied, this time kissing him on the lips.
"Hey, love birds, we're waiting!" Riku called out,
The two pulled away and faced their childhood friend, who was waiting for the spiky brunette, "Coming, Riku!" Sora kissed Kairi's cheek and ran to his friend, and into the portal they went.
The city of Quadratum was a surprisingly lively place. After arriving here a week ago, the Princess of Lightris expected the afterlife to be a lonely and desolate place, but it was the opposite. The world reminded her of San Fransokyo, and it gave her a sense of comfort. While Sora had yet to awaken, Dakota was more than happy to hold down the fort until he recovered,
"You're up early." A young man said,
The princess turned to face Yozora after the final battle. The three of them called a truce and begrudgingly began to work together. Dakota didn't know what to think of the man, but at least he gave them a place to stay and introduced them to a new friend.
"Yes, Strelitzia's up too. We wanted an early start to the day, and we kind of have to, considering the Heartless are roaming around."
"Yes, it's quite troubling to see they're here. I thought we'd be safe from them, but it seems they've broken through. Has the darkness in your world gotten that out of hand?" Yozora wondered,
"No, it's been getting better, but considering Xehanort has been medaling with the worlds for so long. I wouldn't be surprised if the Heartless went a little haywire. But that's not the only thing I'm worried about." The other Dakota thought aloud,
"Are you referring to the other you, you saw the night we met?"
"Yes, it's still so weird that there's another me. In all my life, I never knew another me could exist."
"Has anyone ever told you about the multiverse?" Yozora questioned,
"I think so. It's a theory that there are multiple versions of our universe, correct?" The princess answered,
"That is correct; good you're not as out of touch as I thought. The reason I asked you this is because there are many universes. We can't reach there could be a universe where we never met. Or a universe where Xehanort didn't succumb to the darkness and lived as an honest man. Or, in this case, a universe where you and Sora didn't disappear, and the lost masters returned." The silver-haired man explained,
"I hope the others are okay. If Xigbar has ties to the ancient past, who's to say the Foretellers aren't already in my world." Dakota feared,
"There's a good chance they are, but I'm sure you'll find a way back knowing you and Sora's abilities. After all, don't you have a kingdom to rule?" Yozora said,
"You're not coming with us." The princess of Lightris questioned, wide-eyed,
"I don't see why I should. I've become fond of this city, but I wouldn't mind returning to my world. but when you leave, I have a favor to ask you."
"Well, that depends. What do you request."
"Take Strelitzia with you. She's got a brother who must miss her dearly. Not to mention she's been here for a very long time. She deserves a second chance after being brutally murdered by the darkness, who used that boy as a vessel." Her teammate requested,
"It's truly a shame she was killed so young. But I agree with you when we get out of here. Strelitzia will come with us." Dakota said,
"Talking about me, are you?" Strelitzia giggled, walking to the duo,
"Oh, Strelitzia, you frightened me."
"Frightened?" Yozora replied, raising an eyebrow,
"Oh, come on, I'm a Princess. I was taught to be proper." She rebutted,
Strelitzia laughed, "You two are such weird friends."
"Humph, I never said we were friends." Yozora huffed, standing up and crossing his arms.
"But you are a great fighter. I've learned a lot, thanks to you. I doubt I would be much use without you." The orange-haired girl stated,
"That's not true. I'm sure your old masters taught you more than I ever could. Ancient magic and knowledge are hard to come by these days." The silver-haired man reassured,
"Hey, Strelizia, how's Sora?" The Princess asked,
"He's fine. He should be waking up soon; how about we check on him?" She suggested,
"Sounds like a fine idea. Yozora, are you coming?"
"Fine if I must. I should explain I'm not here to get in the way in case we run into each other." The man said, being the first to leave,
The two girls shrugged off Yozora's antisocial behavior and returned to their apartment.
Sora was sound asleep on the couch, where he was placed the night Yozora let them stay. The fight took a lot out of all of them, but at least they were safe, that was until the Heartless showed up.
"So, what type of food do you think Sora would like?" Strelitzia wondered,
"Let's keep it simple eggs and toast. We might need to fight Heartless shortly after," Dakota replied, stirring a bowl while keeping an eye on her best friend. The two kept working in silence when Dakota noticed movement,
"Sora?!" She gasped,
"Dakota!" He said, "You're alright."
The young Princess dropped what she was doing and ran to hug her brother in arms. "I'm so glad you're safe." She said,
"So, am I. How long have I been asleep for?" Sora questioned,
"Seven days." Yozora replied plainly, "You've been asleep for seven days."
"Yozora," Sora stated shockingly, taking a battle stance,
The man held a hand out, "No need for that. I'm not here to hurt you. I've talked to your friend, and we've agreed to a truce. I'm on your side for the time being, plus we've got more pressing matters to deal with than petty rivalries."
"Like what?" Sora questioned,
"The Heartless," Strelitzia spoke up,
Sora turned to face the girl carrying a plate of food, "Who are you?"
"My name is Strelitzia. I come from the world of Daybreak Town. Are you hungry?" She offered, holding up a plate,
Before Sora could answer, his tummy growled, answering the question for him,
Strelitzia giggled, "That answers that question. Why don't you eat, and we'll fill you in on the situation."
The foursome sat around a dining room table and began eating,
"So, where are we exactly?" Sora spoke first,
"This world is known as Quadratum, a world full of life and people. But for the four of us, it's more like an afterlife of sorts." Strelitzia started to explain,
"When you and Dakota went on that journey to save your special one, it destroyed your hearts and bodies, casting you into the abyss." Yozora followed up, "I have no idea who your master was, but he failed to mention how dangerous the power of waking truly is."
"It's not his fault!" Strelitzia defended, "There are many unknowns to the Power of Waking. There's a good chance their master knew as little as they did. Even I don't know much about this power."
"It's fine, Strelitzia, Dakota and I knew the risks, and for Kairi, it was worth it. But as much as this world seems nice, I wouldn't mind searching for a way home." Sora said,
"That is easier said than done." Yozora cut in, "As far as I am aware, escaping to your realm will be a difficult task. Not that it matters because this world needs a defender."
"A defender, what do you mean?" The spiky brunette inquired,
"That is what he means." Dakota pointed to a dark portal taking form, and Sora soon realized what Yozora meant,
"The Darkness is here?!"
"Yes, unfortunately so, from my understanding, it should be impossible, but since your arrival, they seem to have broken through. But that's not all; it seems there is a tear in the fabric of reality."
"What kind of tear?" Sora questioned, finding it hard to understand,
"The night you and I fought Yozora, I saw a portal open and became face to face with myself from another universe. You and I didn't vanish in this one, and Kairi wasn't struck down."
"And to make matters worse, a man you know as Xigbar is someone I knew in the past. His name was Luxu, and he's summoned my masters a group called the Foretellers." Strelitzia added,
"Luxu is Xigbar?" Sora spoke, barely believing the information presented,
"Indeed, we believe he is responsible for the temporal disbalance. I know very little about time travel. What I do know is that it shouldn't be used very often. Unless you intend to rip a hole in the fabric of the universe." Yozora explained,
"Trust me. I know the rules of time travel. Or at least a general understanding of them. Xehanort used them a lot, though. He was a mad man." The spiky brunette grimaced, shaking his head,
"Hey, guys, I hate to interrupt the debriefing, but. You might want to look outside." Dakota cut in,
The threesome went out on the balcony to see a giant Darkside taking form. It was the biggest Heartless Sora, Dakota, and Strelitzia have ever seen.
"It's huge!" Strelitzia gasped; the foursome watched in horror as the Darkside grabbed cars and threw them at the city's citizens.
"We have to do something!" Sora declared,
"And we are, Strelitzia, you're with me. We need to redirect the flow of traffic. Dakota and Sora can handle the Heartless." Yozora ordered,
"Alright, Sora, you can still use your Keyblade, right?" Dakota checked,
"I think so, but if I can't, I'll need you to cover me." He replied,
Dakota nodded, and the foursome ran out of the apartment and towards the Darkside. Strelitzia and Yozora got the people to safety while Dakota and Sora made their way to the beast. Using their attraction flew, Sora and Dakota climbed up a lamppost, and Sora used his Keyblade as a grappling hook to grab onto cars and debris from buildings. Dakota used her powers to create light spheres and fired them at the Darkside; meanwhile, the Keyblade wielder made his way through a broken building and attacked the boss, who fought back. Sora tried to push through, but the Darkside pushed him back, and he flew into Dakota, who was knocked to the ground.
"Are you okay?" Dakota checked,
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, I think I'm still too weak." He replied,
"We have to keep fighting. If we don't, this city will fall." The princess of Lightris persisted,
The two got up and readied themselves as the Darkside raised its fist. And just as it was about to strike, a portal opened, and out came the alternate version of themselves.
"What in the world?!" Sora gasped in awe,
"It's us, Sora. It's truly us." The other Dakota beamed,
"I can't believe it, Dakota. You were right. There is another you!" Emily gasped,
"Was there even any doubt in the first place?" Riku asked,
"I hate to interrupt this shocking revelation, but we have an enemy who's already caused quite a bit of damage." Joshua cut in, pointing at the Darkside,
"Right, let's deal with that first." Amy decided,
"Me or other me take Dakota somewhere safe. We've got this." Sora ordered,
"I can take care of myself just fine. But we'll let you handle this. Come on Sora let's help Strelitzia and Yozora." The other Dakota ushered, and the two ran off, taking out any Heartless in their way.
"Did other you just say Strelitzia? As in Larurim's dead sister?!" Emily questioned,
"It's a chance; this world also doubles as an afterlife, so there's a good chance she resides here," Joshua said,
"We'll deal with that later. For now, let's take down that Darkside," Cindy stated,
"Alright, gang, here's the plan!" The real Dakota yelled to be heard by the chaos, "Sora, Riku, and Ventus. You're with me. Emily, Cindy, and Amy secure the area and ensure no bystanders get in the way. Joshua, Neku, Sandy, Amanda, Dimentio, and Mimi. watch our back if things go south. Mabel, Rory, Esamanda, and Lizzy go with the other Sora and help rescue anyone getting attacked by Heartless."
"On our way, you can trust us, girl." Mabel nodded, giving her best friend a thumbs up.
Dakota and Sora dashed towards the Darkside and used their guild abilities. Dakota fired a spell against the creature while Sora successfully countered a block and transformed his Keyblade into a drill digging into the Heartless's arm. Neku and Joshua used their Psychs to create forcefields around the perimeter, making sure no onlookers could get in. Riku and Ventus used their shock locks to overwhelm the Darkside and distract it while Emily, Cindy, and Amy fired combined shots.
"Okay, girls, it's weakened. Let's finish this!" Dakota shouted,
The gang agreed and got into formation using a combined attack to destroy the giant Heartless.
"That was incredible! You guys really know how to fight!" The other Dakota complemented,
"Thanks, other me, you fought really hard too." The real Dakota returned the kind words,
"So, it's true there is another us." The other Sora gasped wide-eyed,
"We're just as shocked as you are." Riku came forward,
"I'm guessing you're the Riku of their world?" The other Sora followed up,
"Yeah, I'm sorry to disappoint you." He apologized,
"It's okay. I know I'll see my Riku again soon. I'm just glad to have some friends." The spiky brunette smiled,
"It's good you came when you did. Now that we have a small army, this world may stand a chance," Yozora stated,
"Indeed, it will, Yozora," Joshua spoke up, walking towards the young man.
"Yozora!" The gang yelled,
"You've heard of me too?" He questioned,
"Why wouldn't they? Your game Venom Rex is topping the video game charts." Josh smirked,
"They made a video game about me?"
"Yeah, it's kind of weird for me too. For my Dakota and her friend's universe, Neku and I have games based on our adventures too." The real Sora said,
"That's interesting, but at least you guys can hold your own in battle." Strelitzia smiled,
"Yeah, my friends and my boyfriend are a stellar group." Dakota smiled, putting her arms around Ventus and Sora.
Strelitzia's eyes went wide as she glanced at Ventus. "Hold on. You look familiar to me."
Ventus looked at his feet out of guilt, remembering the crime Chirithy revealed he committed while possessed by darkness. "Yeah, I'm sure I do. My name is Ventus; you can call me Ven. And Strelitzia I am so sorry. That night of your death was my fault. I killed you, well, more like the darkness posing as Master Ava made me kill you, but I was still under its influence. I know that doesn't change anything, but I promise hurting you wasn't my intention."
Strelitzia was shocked at first, but a large smile settled on her face as she walked up to hug the young boy. "I forgive you, Ventus. It wasn't your fault the darkness played all of us for fools. The other Dakota told me what you, Aqua, Terra, and what my brother did when he was Marluxia. At the end of the day. We were all used for the Master of Masters prophecy. He must have known this would happen."
"It still doesn't erase the guilt I have," Ven replied,
"Maybe not, but I'm still alive in a way if you can help with reuniting me with my brother. Then I think it will be enough to atone for your sins. You don't deserve to live with the guilt for the rest of your life."
"Thanks; I'll do what I can to set things right." Ven nodded, feeling very determined to bring Strelitzia back to life.
"First, we need to figure out what universe you come from. Are you from ours or theirs?" Amy pondered,
"Oh, she's from yours. My parents recovered the Strelitzia from my universe. She's my adopted sister, in a way. And she even brought her brother back to his senses during the final battle." The other Dakota reviled,
"Alright, that's good to know. We should fill each other in on our universe's differences." The book smart angel said,
"Smart idea, everyone follow me. I know a place we can chat." Yozora said everyone followed the silver-haired man, but the other Dakota and Sora stayed behind.
"Sora, do you remember the Heartless that came out of Ventus's heart?" Dakota questioned,
"I do. That darkness must have been the one that made him kill Strelitzia." Sora realized, "I hope it doesn't return and cause him to hurt Dakota."
"I don't think so. His heart feels lighter than the Ven in our universe."
"So, did Vanitas not return to his heart?" Sora questioned,
"Maybe, we should ask them about that." The Princess stated,
Sora nodded, and the two went off to learn more about their other-selves.
On the top of the building, two cloaked men oversaw the whole thing,
"So, was the dimensional rifts you're doing." The first man asked,
"Nah, definitely the work of my apprentice. I see his role is finally coming to fruition just like I told you it would." The second man replied,
"Are you sure this plan of yours will get us out of this prison?" The first man asked,
"Hey, are you doubting me? Of course, it will. I'm not called the Gazing Eye for nothing. Those kids will grant us our freedom, and when they do. All hell will break loose…." The second man stated, somewhat shocking his accomplice, "At the welcome back party, my apprentices will be throwing because the Master of Masters will be back, baby!"
"So, you're not going to cause the end of the worlds?" The second man spoke,
"Why would I want to do that? Oh, I get it. It's because my fans thought I was evil, wasn't it? Yeah, the whole evil villain thing isn't what I'm going for. Those poor kids already dealt with Xehanort, so I'll give them a break. Not to mention I'm a little old for the image. I've been cheating death for a while now. I'm not the type to push my luck. Well, as far as you know." The Master said,
The other individual didn't know what to think about his acquittance. But after spending so much time in the city, he was ready to leave and explore the other worlds. Yes, this was fine. One day they will go, and once they do. Well, he'll figure that out when the time comes.
"If you say so." The other man nodded, and they fell into silence once more, just sitting on the edge of a building as a new era begins.
To be continued in Kingdom Hearts 4
Well, looks like we have a lot of stuff to talk about, starting with the other Dakota and Sora. So, in my KH3 rewrite idea I decided to have Sora not disappear it's the end of the Dark seeker saga I figured it's best to give everyone closer only for it to crash around them when Luxu and the Foretellers return I figured I'll have the entire game take place without worrying about finding Sora. Then the DLC dropped, and I knew I had to do something to fill the gaps enter the other Dakota and Sora an alternate universe where Sora used the power of waking, and the events are the same as in game. I've made a small fic about the Princess of Lightris before. (Check out my Heart Crossed Lovers Story chapter Night at the Ball.) I still have yet to flesh out the while backstory for the other Dakota, but this is meant to take place in the same cannon as another concept fic called The Princess of Light and The Prince of Darkness. I don't have the story planed out and I don't know if I'll ever write it, but it's been bouncing around my head on and off throughout the years. Who knows maybe one day I'll write it.
Yozora's Alliance: I doubt this will actually happen in fact I'm pretty sure one of the two cloaked figures could be Yozora. It doesn't make much sense since anyone who's played the DLC has seen him in person but the mystery surrounding them is intriguing.
Strelitzia being so forgiving: We all know once Ven remembers what happened in his past he'll be struck with guilt and now that his Chirithy is back I feel Ventus remembering his true past will happen very soon. I don't know if Strelitzia even remembers her past or murder or even if she can use her Keyblade anymore but for now I'm assuming she can and got at least a glimpse of her attacker. Kingdom Hearts is crazy that way.
I don't see her holding a grudge though as it was the Darkness posing as Ava that tricked Ven and the Master of Masters most likely knew this would happen so why get so upset about something that happened years ago. Strelitzia seems like a forgiving person anyway and even if her brother might hold a grudge we have to keep in mind he commented just as bad if not worse crimes during his time in the Organization I feel like Strelitzy would be more saddened by what her brother became and how he might have forgotten her then her own death. But I could be wrong like many fans I know very little about Union crosses story and lore same with Dark Road so if any information is wrong let me know and it will be fixed in future fics.
The two clacked individuals: You know I don't even know if both are men it could be The Master of Masters with Yozora or Master Ava who didn't return to her group or two brand new character we need to get the cutscene in English before we can determine who they are but for now I'm guessing the Master of Masters and someone else who's working with him.
The Master isn't Evil? Again, I know barely anything about late game Union Cross but what I do know is the Master is a very mysterious character. We don't know if he's good, bad, or somewhere in between I can't help but think he's a red herring though. We're led to believe he's evil when it's reviled Luxu or someone else is the true villain the second cloaked figure perhaps.
I think that's it again this is just some concept and ideas many things will change in the future, but I hope to keep the alternate universe thing and the World Ends With You cast hey maybe I'll bring Rindo and the gang into it. With that said I'll see you again for more fanfic's and I will continue making some more KH4 concept fic's in the future with that said I'll see you all next time. Love you all.
