Everything in Giantville was, well... gigantic.

Ella and her companions stopped to look at some Giants busily harvesting vegetable plots and fruit trees.

When one curious Giant turned around to look at them, a guard cracked his whip at him.

"Get back to work!"

As they rode on, Prince Char spoke up, "The Giants have always been gentle. Why are they treated like slaves? l'm sure my uncle doesn't know about this. He couldn't."

"So he says," Olga mumbled, glaring daggers at the Prince's back. "Foolish boy."

Hattie and Olive looked on sadly, then at each other.

It pained them to see their mother so upset.

Finally, they arrived at the wedding.

A Giant named Mr Koopooduk was their host.

"He's here as a friend to hear your complaints," Ella introduced him to Prince Char.

"Then welcome," smiled Mr Koopooduk.

Ella saw some Fairies at the wedding, so she went over to ask them about Lucinda.

"Too late, sweetheart. She left about an hour ago," one of them answered. "Last l heard, she was somewhere living in Lamia."

After Ella found the bathroom, she closed the door behind her.

"Benny, show me Lucinda."

The talking book displayed a vision of the Fairy flying very unsteadily through the skyline of Lamia, before managing to crash land into a huge horse cart piled high with pillowy hay.

Luckily, Lucinda didn't look too badly hurt.

"Looks like she'll be getting an FWI," Benny remarked, referring to the guilty-looking empty bottle still in Lucinda's grasp. "Flying While Intoxicated."

Meanwhile, Prince Char was talking with Mr Koopooduk.

"l had no idea things were so bad," he told the massive Giant. "l promise, first thing after my coronation, l'll help you buy your farms back."

"l'll hold you to that," smiled Mr Koopooduk, raising his massive mug.

Ella hurried over.

"So have you seen Slannen?" she asked Prince Char. "We have to leave. Lucinda's on some kind of bender."

Prince Char suggested that they look in the Hall Of Records inside the Royal Palace.

As Prince, he could get her inside.

Slannen suddenly showed up, breathless and with the three Witches right behind him.

"l gotta hide. They're after me."

"The Giants," said Hattie.

"They want him to sing," added Olga. "He doesn't sing!"

"You ever seen their feet?" commented Olive, making gagging expressions with her face. "I swear, I've never seen toe jam so... "

Hattie swiftly clapped her hand over her sister's mouth.

Whatever Olive wanted to say next could only be registered as a series of unintelligible murmurs.

"Well, how about you, then?" Mr Koopooduk asked Ella. "Sing!"

His wish being her command, Ella made her way up on stage.

Prince Char and her stepfamily joined her too.

Hattie, Olive, and Olga used their Witch magic for some special effects.

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Ooh, each morning I get up I die a little

Can barely stand on my feet

(Take a look at yourself) Take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)

Lord, what you're doing to me (yeah yeah)

I have spent all my years in believing you

But I just can't get no relief, Lord!

Somebody (somebody) ooh somebody (somebody)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work hard (she works hard) every day of my life

I work 'til I ache in my bones

At the end (at the end of the day)

I take home my hard earned pay all on my own

I get down (down) on my knees (knees)

And I start to pray

'Til the tears run down from my eyes

Lord, somebody (somebody), ooh somebody

(Please) can anybody find me somebody to love?

Everyday (everyday) I try and I try and I try

But everybody wants to put me down

They say I'm going crazy

They say I got a lot of water in my brain

Ah, got no common sense

I got nobody left to believe in

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Oh, Lord

Ooh somebody, ooh somebody

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

(Can anybody find me someone to love)

Got no feel, I got no rhythm

I just keep losing my beat (you just keep losing and losing)

I'm okay, I'm all right (she's all right, she's all right)

I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah yeah)

I just gotta get out of this prison cell

One day (someday) I'm gonna be free, Lord!

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love love love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Somebody somebody somebody somebody

Somebody find me

Somebody find me somebody to love

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

The Giants all cheered!

Ella was amazed.

She performed amazingly with Prince Char.

Slannen managed to find love with a statuesque Giantess named Brumhilda.

Like him, she hated the rubbish stories by the Grimm Brothers, especially Jack And The Beanstalk.

In the story, all Giants were mean and ugly-looking.

Brumhilda was kind-hearted and beautiful.

In another corner of the room, Prince Char shared with Ella and her stepfamily that he was an only child.

His mother passed on before she could give him any siblings.

After what happened to his father, Sir Edgar raised him as his own.

"You're very lucky to have your stepfamily," he told Ella.

The Prince turned to Hattie and Olive. "And two very beautiful stepsisters."

He winked at them, causing Olive to squeal jubilantly... before keeling over, starstruck.

A wide, daft grin stretched between her ears.

Ella noticed how happy Olga was performing during the song.

"My husband sang me that very song the day we were wed," smiled Olga. "During our honeymoon, when I was with child... and the day Hattie and Olive arrived to join us."

Leaning forward, Ella wrapped both arms tenderly around her. "I love you, mum."

Olga stood there for a few moments, a bit shocked.

But once the surprise wore off, she relaxed, smiling warmly while caressing her stepdaughter's back.

"I love you too, my dear."

A/N

This was probably the film's Crowning Moment Of Heartwarming (a TvTropes term, look it up if wanna learn more).

Here, having Ella's stepfamily joining her on this adventure makes this moment all the more sweeter!

I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I did!
