James shouted, running towards them with full speed:
- We have a way to avoid that "No students out of bed at night" rule that gave us so many detentions from Minnie! Show them, Padfoot!
James and Sirius jumped on their bed and shouted, with a smirk:
- Wingadium Leviosa!
Their bed floated into the air as both of them controlled the other. James asked:
- Like it, Moony?
Remus nodded his head slightly. Sirius whispered:
- We'll try it tonight. Make sure you get some rest though Moony, tomorrow's the full moon.

After lunch, Remus questioned:
- Are you sure, Prongs?
James answered:
- Yes.
- We could be caught!
- We are technically not out of bed.
- But still!
- If you don't want to come, that's fine Moony.

As night came, the Marauders executed their plan. McGonagall, who was patrolling the halls, saw them. She shouted:
- Potter, Black, Lupin, Pettigrew! Why are you here at midnight? Fifty points from Gryffindor! Why are you levitating the beds?
Sirius explained:
- Professor, the rules stated that no students should be out of bed at night. We are still in our beds.
McGonagall shouted again:
- Detention, you four. Levitate your beds back in your dormitories now!
Sirius argued:
- But Professor, technically, we are still in bed. You cannot punish us for something we didn't do.
- Get back, now!
