AN: Hello, my readers. As it says in the title, this will be the chapter where the war against the Equalists will end, but there will be more after that. I would say something, but it would be better to save it for later. Until then... Enjoy the chapter!

Naga and the rest of the gang were running through a snowy forest in the direction of Hiroshi's hangar where they kept the biplanes. Finally, they stopped on a high ridge where they could see where they were headed.

"I think we've found our secret airfield. Bolin, once we get down there, I need you to tear up those runways. We can't let those aircraft take off." said General Iroh II.

"Aye aye, captain! Ooh, general, general." said Bolin with a military salute and bowing in apology for the slight confusion.

"All right, let's go get them." said Ducky proceeding over there.

"Wait, you better stay here." said Asami.

"What? There's no way we're going to stand around when we're so close to the enemy base." said Cera.

"I agree with Asami, our main mission is to stop them from continuing to use those aircrafts. The fewer we are in this mission, the easier it will be." said General Iroh II.

"Well, since this is an infiltration mission, it is correct to think that few people are needed for an infiltration mission." said Ruby.

"*Sigh of defeat* Okay." said Cera.

"Don't worry. We'll be right back." said Bolin before he and the other humans left towards the base, leaving the dinosaurs, Naga, and Pabu behind.

When they were close to the base, they saw some strange poles surrounding the place.

"Why would there be fence posts but no fence?" asked Asami in confusion.

However, as soon as they passed between the poles, the three of them suffered an electric shock that made them scream in pain before falling unconscious.

Needless to say, the other members of the gang, who had seen it all, were horrified.

"Oh, no!" exclaimed Petrie.

"They've walked into a trap!" said Chomper.

"We have to go help them!" said Ducky starting to run toward them, but Cera got in her way.

"No, wait. If we go that way, we'll end up getting captured right along with them." said Cera.

"So what do you suggest we do?" asked Ruby.

"For the time being, let's be patient. We'll rescue them soon enough." said Cera.

Meanwhile, at the pro-bending arena, many people were gathering for the equalist rally that was to be held there.

Korra and Mako, still in their costumes, stood in the referee's area, acting as equalist soldiers. Near them, covered with a tarp, was Littlefoot, who, although it was a risky move, wanted to be by their side in case things went awry.

The three nodded to each other, as they were nearing the time to realize their plan to reveal the truth of the masked one to the world.

And speak of the devil, Amon appeared on stage by a rising platform in the middle of the stage. The audience erupted in applause at the arrival of their leader.

"Thank you all for joining me on this historic occasion!" said Amon, as the lieutenant and several Equalist soldiers arrived on stage as well. "When I was a boy, a firebender struck down my entire family and left me scarred. That tragic event began my quest to equalize the world."

"That's a lie, Amon!" shouted Korra drawing the attention of everyone in the arena as she, Mako and Littlefoot removed their costumes.

"Or should we call you, Noatak?" asked Littlefoot using the real name of masked man, who squinted at them as he realized they knew his secret.

"You want them taken out?" asked the lieutenant, but Amon held up a hand in detention.

"No." began Amon before taking a couple of steps forward. "Everyone calm down, we have nothing to fear from the Avatar or her bending creature. Let's hear what they have to say." said Amon acting as if he had a trick for this type of case.

"Amon has been lying to you. The spirits didn't give him the power to take people's bending away. He uses bloodbending to do it. Amon is a waterbender!" revealed Korra pointing at Amon and causing people to gasp in shock.

"What is this nonsense?" asked the lieutenant not believing the Avatar's story.

"You're desperate, Avatar. Making up stories about me is a pathetic last resort." said Amon.

"You're the one making up stories about yourself. Your family wasn't killed by a firebender." said Littlefoot before addressing the crowd. "Your father was Yakone, a former city criminal, and your brother is Councilman Tarrlok."

The crowd gasped once again at the other revelation and the lieutenant was beginning to question whether or not it was true what they were saying.

"Hmph, an amusing tale, but I will show you the truth." Amon said pulling down his hood and proceeding to remove his mask and when he did, he showed everyone his authentic face which had a huge burn scar, much to the shock of the crowd. "This is what a firebender did to me."

"What?" asked Korra in surprise at that, as she didn't expect Amon to actually have a scar on his face.

"It can't be." said Littlefoot not believing their plan had failed like that.

As Amon put his mask back on, the crowd started yelling at the Avatar and the longneck about how they were lying, that it wasn't true what they said, etc.

"I'm telling you! He's a waterbender." said Korra, but only received more complaints from the crowd.

"They don't believe us. It didn't work." said Littlefoot.

"We said what we had to. Let's get out of here." said Mako.

But suddenly, Equalist soldiers appeared to cut them off with their bolas ready to throw as the three slowly advanced into position to fight.

"I wouldn't leave yet, Avatar. You'll miss the main event." said Amon drawing the attention of the three who turned to look at the stage, where a platform began to rise.

But what really surprised the three, however, was that there were several poles and on them were, bound and gagged, Tenzin and his three children.

"No… they got away." said Korra horrified that they managed to catch Tenzin and his family despite everything they did to save them.

"We watched them flee." said Littlefoot equally horrified to see the family at the mercy of the masked one. "How did you capture them?"

"Well… Uh…" began Amon placing his hand on his chin as he tried to remember what they did. "Honestly, I don't know myself." said Amon with a shrug before turning to one of his soldiers. "Hey, do you know how we did it?"

"Well, you got me." said the soldier with a shrug before pulling down from above a picture of nothingness where a line could be seen going back and forth like crazy. "By all accounts, it doesn't make sense."

Back at the Equalist base in the mountains, Bolin, Asami and General Iroh II were bound and unconscious in a cell.

"Asami." said Hiroshi calling out to his daughter, who woke up and sat up to look at him. "Asami, I know I have hurt you… and I am sorry. But I believe that one day, you will come to your senses and we can be a family again." said Hiroshi hoping to be with his daughter again.

"Are you insane?!" asked Asami as the other two woke up. "How can we be a family after everything you've done?! Mom would hate you for what you've become."

"How dare you? I am avenging her death!" exclaimed Hiroshi angrily.

Just then, an Equalist soldier appeared.

"The airplanes are ready for take-off, sir." said the Equalist soldier.

"Good, annihilate the fleet." said Hiroshi to the surprise of the general and the earthbender. "That's right, general. I intercepted your message to Commander Bumi. I know exactly where they're hiding." said Hiroshi with a smile before leaving.

General Iroh II lowered his head in defeat.

"How are we gonna get out of here?" asked Asami.

"I don't suppose you know how to metalbend?" asked General Iroh II to Bolin.

"That is a negative, Sir." said Bolin.

Meanwhile, the gang, Naga and Pabu hid behind a rock near the pole area.

"Okay, if we want to save our friends, we first have to go through that electrical trap." said Cera.

"Yes, but how?" asked Ducky.

"Chomper, do you think you can neutralize those poles with your lightning?" asked Cera.

"I'll try." said Chomper before getting ready and launching a pair of lightnings at two poles.

He was like that for a few seconds until he stopped the attack.

"Has it worked?" asked Ducky.

To test it, Petrie picked up a rock and threw it towards the area between the poles, but nothing happened and it landed on the other side.

"It work, trap no more." said Petrie.

"Great, but there will probably be guards hanging around, how do we get past the guards that will be hanging around?" asked Ruby.

"I think I have an idea." said Cera.

Near the front door, inside, stood several Equalist soldiers.

"Very good. We were able to capture the intruders, but we must not let our guard down. We must be prepared for anything." said one Equalist soldier as he began to hear something outside. "What's that sound?"

"It sounds like music." said another Equalist soldier.

The Equalist soldiers went outside to check what that was all about.

Suddenly, they saw the gang, Naga and Pabu marching straight towards them while singing.

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

This is our battle song.

As we're marching into war.

This is our battle song.

We're gonna give you guys what for.

You might think you can defeat us

your defenses have some heft.

But the thing that they won't tell you

as you're fighting on the left

is the left just a skirmish.

A diversionary fight.

We'll hide the bulk of our forces on the right.

"Ha! Fools! They're singing their plan to us! And live! Let's move to the right!" ordered the first Equalist soldier.

"But is it their right or ours?" asked the second Equalist soldier.

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

No, our right.

They're hidden over in that forest

that's your left.

Perhaps we shouldn't put that in the chorus

we should watch just what we say.

Don't wanna give our plan away.

The song was so catchy that one soldier couldn't help but wiggle to the music, but stopped when he received a glare from the first Equalist.

"Let's go to our right." ordered the first Equalist soldier before he and his group moved to their right to intercept the enemy.

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

But with subtle subterfuge.

We will surely win the day.

"As soon as they appear, we will attack." said the first soldier as he and the other soldiers prepared for when the enemy appeared.

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

It's our battle song.

They waited for a few seconds, but nothing happened, which confused the soldiers.

"How?" asked the first Equalist soldier when he saw nothing and no one.

"Here, you fools!" shouted Cera as the soldiers turned around to see the gang and the two animals to their left. "Haha. We made you think we would attack from the right instead of the left when we were actually going to attack from the left." said Cera with a grin.

"What? You tricked us! And with a song! How can you be so cruel? Then they say we're the bad guys!" said the second Equalist soldier feeling annoyed by the deception.

The other soldiers began to comment about agreeing with him.

"Ok, ok." said Cera rolling her eyes. "But it was necessary."

"What for?" asked the first Equalist soldier.

"To do this." said Ruby before she and Ducky used waterbending to make a pile of snow fall on the soldiers, knocking them down in the process.

"Okay. We've got the route clear. Let's go save our friends." said Cera before she and the others went to the entrance of the base.

"You know? I agree with them that what we did was wrong. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"Let's leave the issue of what's right or wrong in the music world for after this." said Cera.

"Me agree." said Petrie as they entered the base.

Once inside, they ran into their friends, who were still locked in the cell.

"Kids, we're here." said Bolin as the non-human group stood in front of the cell.

"How did you get in?" asked Asami.

"We have our ways." said Chomper.

Naga reared up on her hind legs and slammed them against the bars of the cell, bending them a bit. She did it a second time and managed to break the bars completely, creating a hole to get in and out.

"Who needs a metalbender? We got Naga! Yeah!" exclaimed Bolin as the dinosaurs untied them.

"Hey, we're here too." said Cera as they untied them completely.

"I know and we are grateful to you." said Asami stroking the threehorn's head, who although she didn't want to show it, enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, several biplanes took off as the group ran towards them.

"I'm going after those airplanes." said General Iroh II picking up speed.

"Me go with you! You need flyer to fight flying ships!" said Petrie flying alongside the general.

"As you wish." said General Iroh II accepting the flyer's help.

"Ahh! No, Naga!" said Bolin when Naga hoisted him onto her back as she continued to run.

As she ran, Asami spotted an area full of mecha tanks and, with a smile, headed for that area. The rest of the gang took notice and followed her.

Once there, Asami climbed into the control booth of a mecha tank.

"Asami, what are you doing?" asked Chomper.

"Helping out a little." said Asami with a smile before turning a crank that activated the mecha tank. "Huh, what do you know? Just like a Future Industries forklift." said Asami putting on her belt before the cockpit closed.

"We'll help too, okay, guys?" asked Cera getting a nod from the others.

Meanwhile, General Iroh II ran with all his might before using firebending to propel himself by expelling fire from his fists and feet, managing to be able to grab onto a biplane that took flight. The pilot turned his head back in time to see the general running towards him, grabbing him and pulling him out of the plane.

Once in the pilot's seat, General Iroh II tried to steer the plane, but had quite a bit of trouble with it.

"You don't know how to fly this?" asked Petrie flying alongside the general.

"It's my first time flying one, but I think I'll get the hang of it eventually." said General Iroh II as the two flew behind the other biplanes.

Back in the pro-bending arena, Amon was addressing his audience with the imprisoned airbenders at his side.

"Tonight, I rid the world of airbending, forever." said Amon receiving support from the audience.

"Amon, let them go!" demanded Korra.

"You're welcome to come down here and try to stop me." said Amon provoking the Avatar.

"He's trying to bait you." said Mako grabbing Korra's arm in an attempt to stop her.

"I don't care! We have to save them!" said Korra.

"The Avatar needs to be reminded of the power I possess." said Amon starting to walk towards Tenzin.

"Don't go near them!" shouted Littlefoot shooting a lightning from his tail near Amon, causing an explosion that sent him rolling to the side.

Quickly, the three propelled themselves with firebending to the stage walking along the wall. An Equalist soldier tried to throw a bolas at them, but they knocked him down with a fireball before landing and knocking down the other Equalist soldiers with fireballs.

The crowd began to flee the stage and stadium.

While Mako kept the Equalists at bay with his fire attacks, Korra and Littlefoot went to free the airbenders.

"Where are Pema and the baby?" asked Korra as she created a fire blade to cut Tenzin's chains.

"In prison." said Tenzin.

"And Beifong?" asked Littlefoot as he created a fire blade on the tip of his tail to cut the young airbenders chains.

"I don't know." said Tenzin before Korra released him completely.

Quickly, Tenzin moved to Mako's side and launched a powerful blast of wind that knocked down the lieutenant and the last Equalist soldier, but Amon dodged the attack and an incoming fireball.

Tenzin spun in midair before sliding his leg along the ground, launching a wave of wind so strong that it sent Amon backwards.

"Quick, follow us." said Littlefoot as they released the young airbenders.

The group ran into a hallway, but stopped when they reached an intersection of two roads.

"Get them out of here. We'll create a diversion." said Korra.

"Let's go get your mother and the baby." said Tenzin to his children.

"Prison break!" shouted Meelo before he and his family ran off to the side while Korra, Mako and Littlefoot stood there, just as Amon appeared and charged towards them.

Korra launched a blast of fire that covered the hallway before the three ran in the opposite direction of the airbenders, though Littlefoot paused for a moment to create a barrier of fire that would slow the masked one down.

The three continued running until they entered a door in the middle of the hallway. Soon after, Amon passed the fire barrier through the flames and continued on his way.

He could have continued forward, but the sound of the door closing behind him stopped him and he ended up entering the place where they had been hiding.

Amon began to walk quietly around the room until he passed by where Korra was hiding. Suddenly, Amon stopped, which made the Avatar very nervous, thinking he had found her, but that thought went away as Amon continued walking, causing her to let out a muted sigh of relief.

Suddenly, Korra was dragged out of her hiding place due to Amon using bloodbending on her. He then began to lift her into the air as she screamed in pain.

"Let her go!" shouted Littlefoot as he and Mako came out of hiding and started throwing fireballs at the masked one, but he dodged them all before using bloodbending on them as well, paralyzing them as they were lifted into the air and groaned in pain.

After that, Amon threw them against the ground and paralyzed Mako and Littlefoot with his bloodbending as they watched Amon use his power on the Avatar as well to force her to her knees.

The two watched in horror as Amon stood behind Korra, placed his left hand on the back of her neck.

"No!" shouted Korra knowing what he was going to do.

"Korra!" cried Littlefoot and Mako wanting to go save her, but Amon's power kept them unable to move.

Then, Amon put his right thumb on Korra's forehead and she stared in sheer horror before letting out a mute scream as she felt her power being taken away. After that, Amon released the Avatar who fell to the ground.

"I told you I would destroy you." said Amon.

Littlefoot couldn't believe what had just happened. His friend, the one who was like a big sister to him, had lost her powers forever. He wanted so much, not only to have helped her, but also to make the masked man pay for what he had done to her.

The biplanes had reached Republic City. Behind them, General Iroh II fired a lightning at one of them, causing it to collide with another, shooting down two in the process.

Reacting to this, the five remaining biplanes split into groups of two and three.

"Petrie, take those two! I'll take care of the other one!" shouted General Iroh II.

"Yes, general!" shouted Petrie before propelling himself with airbending to catch up with the two biplanes.

One of the biplanes shot backward a boleadoras, but Petrie was agile enough to dodge it before launching a wind wave that destroyed one of its wings, sending it tumbling.

The other biplane turned and headed toward him, forcing the flyer to flee.

The chase went on for a while, with the biplane chasing Petrie, who managed to stay away thanks to his increased speed due to airbending.

Petrie turned his head to look at the pilot and with airbending, made a 90-degree turn upward as the biplane continued forward. The pilot looked both ways in search of the flyer, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Hey!" the pilot turned his head quickly to see Petrie standing on top of the biplane and behind him. "Surprise!" shouted Petrie before throwing the pilot a gust of wind that threw him off the biplane which began to fall, but Petrie flew off before it even hit.

Meanwhile, General Iroh II was chasing the rest of the planes.

Suddenly, a biplane shot backwards a boleadora that became entangled in the propeller of the general's biplane, forcing the general to jump out of the plane that exploded shortly after.

In the midst of the fall, General Iroh II propelled himself with firebending into another biplane, eventually catching himself on the top. He then shot a fireball at the biplane ahead, destroying one of its propellers and causing it to fall.

The biplane he was in swerved to the side to pull him out, but the general rolled to where the pilot was and took him out with a kick of fire.

Unfortunately, shortly after he sat in the pilot's seat, a bomb landed in the back of the biplane. As the general was trying to stabilize the biplane, the last remaining biplane hovered over him and pulled the lever to drop another bomb.

But General Iroh II realized this and shot a fireball upwards, hitting the bombs seconds after he released one, causing a huge explosion that destroyed the biplane.

General Iroh II's biplane continued to fall directly towards the statue of Aang, which held the mask of Amon. General Iroh II jumped out of the biplane and grabbed onto an Equalist sign he had hung up.

The biplane crashed into Amon's mask, causing it to fall and reveal the face of Avatar Aang.

"General!" said general turned his head to the side to see Petrie flying towards him. "You all right?" asked Petrie.

"I'm fine." said General Iroh II with a smile before turning his gaze to the statue. "Avatar Aang took care of me."

Back on the runway, Bolin, Cera and Spike used earthbending to destroy the runways and prevent more biplanes from taking flight.

"Hey, guys. We've got company." said Ruby pointing to the side where three mecha tanks could be seen heading their way.

"Yikes. Those things again." said Cera.

Bolin and the rest of the gang prepared to fight.

The mecha tanks shot their grappling claws at them, but before they could block or dodge them, Naga caught the ropes in mid-stride and with a jerk sent the mecha tanks crashing to the ground just inches away from them.

Needless to say, they were surprised to see three mecha tanks being taken down easily.

"Good girl, Naga!" said Ducky congratulating the polar bear dog playing with the ropes.

Spike walked over to her and gave her a lick in appreciation which she returned.

Asami was in the hangar destroying one of the remaining biplanes with the mecha tank.

"Asami!" the engineer turned around to see a mecha tank being driven by her father. "What do you think you're doing? You are aiding the very people who took your mother away!" said Hiroshi.

"You don't feel love for Mom anymore. You're too full of hatred." said Asami preparing the mecha tank to fight.

"You ungrateful, insolent child!" said Hiroshi furious with his daughter.

Hiroshi advanced his mecha tank straight towards Asami, who launched her grappling claws, but Hiroshi's mecha tank dodged them as it continued on its way. Before Asami could react, Hiroshi struck her and sent her flying to the side, knocking her mecha tank down in the process.

Hiroshi aimed his mecha tank in front of his daughter's and hit the control booth window, shattering the glass in the process. Asami put her arms out in front to protect herself from the broken glass.

"I now see there is no chance to save you!" shouted Hiroshi having lost his sanity and affection for his daughter.

He raised his fist to deliver the final blow, but an incoming rock struck him, drawing his attention.

Turning to the side, he saw Cera, with the rest of the group, at the hangar entrance scowling at him.

"Mr. Sato, you're a horrible father!" shouted Cera before starting to throw rocks at the mecha tank.

That was distraction enough for Asami to get up, pierce the mech-tank's right arm with her pincers and then hurl it across the hangar, ripping its arm off in the process.

As Hiroshi groaned from the pain, Asami used her mecha tank's grapples to pry open the cockpit. Hiroshi stared at her in fear as Asami glared at him with hatred, but as soon as she softened, Hiroshi turned from fear to anger before pulling a lever, thus launching his final grappling claw, but Asami dodged it.

However, that served as a distraction for Hiroshi to get out of the mecha tank and run away.

"You really are a horrible father." said Asami regretfully and sadly before firing a three-whip disc that wrapped around her father before throwing an electric shock that knocked him unconscious.

Asami shed a tear at how the situation had ended. Her father may have done horrible things and even tried to hurt her, but regardless, he was still her father.

Even if they couldn't see her through the booth, the rest of the gang felt sorry for her.

Meanwhile, Amon was still using bloodbending on Mako, Littlefoot to keep them paralyzed while Korra was on all fours, in total shock at having lost her powers.

"Finally, you are powerless." said Amon.

Korra used what little strength she had to try to throw a fireball at him, but nothing happened and she fell to the ground.

"Amon!" shouted the lieutenant behind the masked man. "Everything the Avatar said is true, isn't it? I just saw you bloodbend her." said the lieutenant, but he got nothing but a glare from the masked one and he took off his mask, feeling betrayed. He crushed the mask and shot a furious glare at his leader. "You traitor! I dedicated my life to you!" said the lieutenant pulling out his sticks and lunging to fight him.

However, before he could reach him, Amon used bloodbending on him and lifted him into the air while bending him backwards.

"You've served me well, Lieutenant." said Amon before throwing the lieutenant into a pile of metal sticks that landed on top of him.

After that, Amon started walking towards Mako and Littlefoot as Korra tried to get up, but what Amon did to her nearly knocked the wind out of her. As Amon forced them to get up, Mako used the maximum of his strength to get his fingers in position and throw a lightning at the masked man, making him scream in pain before being sent against the wall.

Now that they were free of his grip, Littlefoot launched some fireballs that hit some nearby objects that landed on Amon.

Mako grabbed Korra in bridal form and he and the longneck ran out of the room.

As they ran through the halls, Korra opened her eyes to look at the firebender.

"Mako… my bending." said Korra.

"You'll be okay, but we have to get out of here!" said Littlefoot before he and Mako suddenly froze, causing Korra to fall to the ground with a groan.

This was caused by Amon, who was behind them and using bloodbending to throw them against the ceiling before dropping them. He then sent them crashing into the walls before they fell to the floor.

"I'm impressed. No one has ever gotten the better of me like that." said Amon advancing towards them.

With his bloodbending, he pushed Mako aside and leaving Littlefoot sitting with his back facing him.

"That talented boy may come next, but you without a doubt are the most important piece." said Amon as he forced Littlefoot to turn his head to look at him in absolute fear. "I must admit that you are a very curious creature. It will be very interesting to take your powers from you."

When Korra was able to open her eyes, she watched in horror as Amon was about to take Littlefoot's powers. She couldn't allow it. She had already lost her powers, she couldn't leave her friend, her little brother, at the mercy of that monster.

"No!" shouted Korra standing up and throwing out of her fist, suddenly, a blast of air that pushed Amon backwards while Littlefoot and Mako were pushed to the side of the hallway before looking at Korra with surprise.

"Impossible!" said Amon in total shock as Korra wasn't supposed to be able to bend anything after what he did to her.

Korra's eyes widened in surprise as she looked down at her hands.

"I… I can airbend? " asked Korra before rising up and looking seriously at the masked man. "I can airbend!" declared Korra before moving forward and launching a blast of air that hit Amon in the ceiling.

She then launched another blast of air. Amon tried to shield himself with his arms in the X position, but the force of the wind knocked him against the wall at the end of the hallway.

Suddenly, Amon used bloodbending on her before she could launch another air attack. Amon intended to finish her off forever with his power, but Korra, despite this, was able to withstand and resist the bloodbending.

"No… you… don't!" said Korra before launching a blast of wind from her foot that hit Amon, sending him crashing through the window at the end of the hallway and falling into the water.

The people near the stadium saw Amon fall into the water and went to the edge of the platform to find out what was going on.

Korra, Mako and Littlefoot approached the hole Korra created by throwing Amon, receiving insults from the people as they realized she had finished off their leader.

Suddenly, Amon emerged from the water on a tornado of water as the scar on his face was fading, revealing it to be pure makeup.

Needless to say, the people who saw him were shocked to discover the truth of their leader.

"He's waterbending."

"He is a bender."

"The scar is fake."

"The Avatar was telling the truth."

So went the people who at first, trusted Amon, only to feel betrayed now.

Amon and Korra shared a frowning look before the unmasked one unraveled the tornado of water to flee.

Mako and Littlefoot threw fireballs at him, but he ended up escaping through the water.

Once they lost sight of the leader of the Equalist, Korra quickly crouched down to the level with the longneck.

"Are you okay?" asked Korra.

"I'm fine. Thanks to you." said Littlefoot.

Korra smiled before giving the longneck a tender hug which he returned. Mako also knelt down and patted the Avatar's back.

At the Air Temple, Tarrlok was still in his cell when he received an unexpected visitor.

"Noatak." said Tarrlok recognizing his older brother.

"It's over, brother. I'm sorry for what I had to do to you." said Amon (Noatak).

"Our father set us on this path; fate caused us to collide. I should have left with you when we were boys." said Tarrlok.

Amon (Noatak) opened the cell door.

"Leave with me now. We have a second chance. We can start over, together. Please, you're all I have left in the world." said Amon (Noatak).

Several things happened since then.

To begin with, as soon as the truth about Amon was revealed, most of the Equalist members surrendered. Thanks to the cooperation of some of them, they were able to rescue the prisoners, including the council members, the police, the White Lotus sentries, and Lin.

When Team Avatar Dinosaur was fully assembled there were a couple of reactions.

First, they were shocked and saddened after learning the tragic story of Tarrlok and his brother, Amon.

They felt that things would have been different if things had happened differently.

Second, they felt very sorry for Korra when they learned that Amon had taken her powers from her, but then they cheered up a little, just a little, when they learned that she had managed to airbend.

They wanted to congratulate her on that, but they knew it wasn't the right thing to do given the situation.

The next morning, everyone was gathered at the port of Air Temple Island, including Lin, who was looking sadly at Korra, as she had heard what had happened.

"I can't believe Amon got you too." Lin said.

"Hey, at least you unlocked your airbending!" said Bolin trying to cheer up the situation.

"It true. That reason for you coming here and in end, getting it." said Petrie also trying to cheer up the situation.

But they only received frowning looks from the others.

"Guys, not the time." said Mako.

Bolin and Petrie made a mouth/beak zipper gesture to signal that they were going to be quiet.

Later, the group gathered to see a United Forces ship passing near the island.

"You saved Republic City." said Tenzin to the Avatar.

"But Amon got away." said Korra before Tenzin put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

At that moment, the United Forces ship began to approach the island's harbor.

"Yay, Uncle Bumi's here!" said Ikki.

On the boat stood a man with a wild grin, possibly it was Commander Bumi, Tenzin's older brother.

"Waaaa-hoooo!" shouted Bumi before smiling again.

"Wow, General Iroh wasn't lying when he said about it being wild." said Chomper.

"*Sigh of defeat* Great, now I have to entertain my brother." said Tenzin in annoyance and defeat before going to greet his older brother.

Later, on a boat moving in the middle of the ocean, were Amon (Noatak) and his brother, Tarrlok.

"The two of us together again, there's nothing we can't do!" said Amon (Noatak) with a smile.

"Yes, Noatak." said Tarrlok without emotion.

"Noatak. Hmph, I had almost forgotten the sound of my own name." said Amon (Noatak) with a nostalgic smile.

Despite his brother's words, Tarrlok knew that nothing would ever go back to the way it was, as he still felt terrible for everything he did to Korra, her human friends, her dinosaur friends, the non-benders and the entire city.

It was then that Tarrlok, who had made a profound decision, took one of the many electrified gloves on the boat, silently opened the compartment where the boat's fuel was and put the hand holding the glove over the hole.

"It will be just like the good old days." said Tarrlok with his eyes closed.

Amon (Noatak), although not looking back, knew what his brother was going to do and let out a tear.

The next instant, an explosion ripped the boat apart and destroyed the two brothers.

The next day, at the South Pole White Lotus complex, the gang, Mako, Bolin, Asami, Tenzin, his family, Lin, and Korra's parents were waiting patiently in a room.

It was then, when the person they were waiting for, Katara, who wore a sad expression, arrived.

"I've tried everything in my power, but I cannot restore Korra's bending." said Katara lowering her head in sadness.

"But you're the best healer in the world, you have to keep trying!" said Lin trying to hold out hope.

"I'm sorry, there's nothing else I can do. Korra can still airbend, but her connection to the other elements has been severed." said Katara.

At that, Lin lowered her head, having given up hope.

Soon after, Korra came out of the room she was in earlier and looked at those present.

"It's going to be all right Korra." said Tenzin trying to comfort her.

"No, it's not." said Korra before walking outside.

Mako stared in the direction she was going before running to catch up to her.

"Korra, wait." shouted Mako, causing Korra to stop as he caught up to her.

"Go away." said Korra turning her head to look at him before turning her gaze forward.

"I will, but I just want you to know, I'm here for you." said Mako.

"No." said Korra before turning to look at him. "I mean, go away, back to Republic City. Get on with your life." said Korra crossing her arms.

"What are you talking about?" asked Mako.

"I'm not the Avatar anymore. You don't need to do me any favors." said Korra walking away from him, but Mako stopped her by putting his hand on her shoulder.

"I don't care if you're the Avatar or not." said Mako before taking his hand off her shoulder. "Listen, when Tarrlok took you I was losing my mind at the thought of never seeing you again, I realized… I love you, Korra." confessed Mako placing his hand on her cheek.

"I… I can't." said Korra pushing Mako's hand away from her and running to Naga.

"Korra!" said Mako as Korra jumped on the polar bear dog and they ran away from the complex.

At that moment, Tenzin came to Mako's side.

"We need to be patient with her. It will take time for her to accept what has happened." said Tenzin trying to comfort him.

Meanwhile, the gang had been standing in front of the door of the building watching everything.

They were saddened by the situation their friend was going through, but the one who was saddest was Littlefoot. After all she had done for them, she didn't deserve to have that happen to her. There have been times when he wished he could change the past and make things right, but he knew it was impossible (And that they were talking dinosaurs from another world).

But there was one thing they could do for her at a time like that.

Soon after, Korra reached a cliff, where she stood looking out at the ocean in front of her, before bursting into tears and sitting down on the snowy ground.

"Korra." said person quickly turned her head to see the gang near her.

"Leave me alone, kids. I want to be alone for a while." said Korra burying her head between her legs again.

"We're not going to leave you alone." said Littlefoot as the gang stood around her. "I am sure everything will be solved."

"How? You heard Katara. There's no way to get my powers back at all. I'll never be the Avatar now." said Korra.

"You think you're going to stop being the Avatar because you don't have all your powers? I thought you were smarter than I thought." said Cera.

"What?" asked Korra in confusion.

"She's right. From what we've been told about the Avatar, he wasn't only known for his powers, but also for his feats and wisdom." said Ruby.

"And you do many feats." said Petrie.

"Yes, like helping us become good benders or even stopping Amon and the Equalists." said Chomper.

"Surely no one but you could have done that. No, no, no." said Ducky as Spike nodded in agreement.

"You see, Korra? It's your actions that define you, not your powers and as far as we're concerned, you'll always be the Avatar." said Littlefoot.

"But still, do you really think there's a way out of this?" asked Korra.

"Dudette, you're talking to those who have run into difficult situations. We once ran into a herd of yellow bellies who were having trouble getting to their destination and we almost gave up halfway there, but in the end, we managed to get them to safety." said Cera remembering the trip with the herd of yellow bellies.

"Or when we stranded on island not knowing how to get back with our families, but we met someone that helped us get back." said Petrie recalling their adventure on that island.

"Or when Spike and I fought and got separated, but in the end we became a family again." said Ducky hugging her beloved little brother.

"There were always situations where there seemed to be no solution, but all together we were able to find one. And we will find a solution for this too." said Littlefoot.

Korra smiled at her friends' words of support. She had lost hope, but thanks to them, she was slowly regaining it.

"Thanks, guys. I feel a little better." said Korra wiping away her tears.

"We're your friends, Korra. We started this together and we'll finish it the same way." said Littlefoot before he and Korra shared a hug. "I promise."

"You have some good friends, Korra."

Korra and the gang startled before looking back to see a certain someone.

"Aang." said Korra with a smile, happy yet surprised to see the former Avatar.

"You're Avatar Aang?" asked Cera.

"You much older than me think." said Petrie.

"Hehe. People grow up over time, Petrie." said Aang, surprising the gang by seeing that he knew them.

"But how could you possibly be here?" asked Littlefoot.

"Korra have finally connected with her spiritual self." said Aang.

"How?" asked Korra getting up.

"When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change." said Aang as suddenly all the Avatars from the past appeared behind him.

The gang was in total shock. They knew that there had been many Avatars, but they did not expect there to be so many as to form a large herd.

Among them, they could see a few Avatars they found to their liking.

Chomper saw Kuruk, who had dedicated himself to hunting evil spirits to protect his friends despite his great sacrifice.

Cera saw Kyoshi, possibly her favorite Avatar, as she was known as the toughest and strongest of them all.

Ducky, Petrie, and Spike saw Yangchen, who was known as the kindest, most powerful and loving of all, even considered a saint.

Ruby saw Roku, who in was a very wise and respected Avatar who had to stand up to his best friend to protect the world (even though a war ensued).

Littlefoot was more focused on Aang, a person who had to suffer the experience of being the last of his tribe and having to face great dangers at such a young age. In fact, a part of him felt they were very much alike.

Aang placed his right hand on the shoulder of Korra, who closed her eyes, as he placed his left thumb on her forehead and suddenly his eyes and tattoos began to glow, as did the eyes of the previous Avatars and an aura of light surrounded Aang and Korra.

After that, Aang separated from Korra and he and the Avatars of the past disappeared.

The gang, curious as to what had happened, turned their gaze to the current Avatar who kept her eyes open until, suddenly, she snapped them open, revealing herself to be glowing.

Then, Korra rose into the air on a whirlwind as the gang moved slightly away from her. Suddenly, Korra launched a wind wave, a fire wave, and an earth wave before causing a huge wave of water to crash against the cliff.

The gang was in total shock. They didn't understand exactly what had happened, but they could understand one thing. Korra had entered the Avatar State and had regained all of her powers.

Soon after, Korra landed on the ground and came out of the Avatar State. The gang wasted no time in approaching her and congratulating her.

"I can't believe it! You got your powers back!" said Littlefoot.

"I knew you could do it! Yep, yep, yep!" said Ducky jumping up and down with happiness.

"I've done it." said Korra in surprise before a big smile of pure happiness graced her face. "I've done it!" shouted Korra with excitement.

Korra burst out laughing with joy. She was so happy that she grabbed Littlefoot and spun him around like a merry-go-round before releasing him.

After that, she noticed a presence behind her and turned to see Mako looking at her in surprise before giving her a smile.

Korra smiled back before running up to him and sharing a mutual hug.

"I love you too." said Korra before she and Mako shared a tender kiss on the lips.

Later, Lin bowed in front of Korra, who placed her hands on her shoulder and forehead before entering the Avatar State. When she finished, Lin stood up and lifted several rocks from the area, signaling that she had regained her powers of bending.

There was a mixture of amazement and happiness among the others and soon after, Lin lowered the rocks before looking up at the Avatar with a smile of thanks.

"Thank you." said Lin to the Avatar, who bowed in thanks.

Then, Tenzin approached Korra.

"I am so proud of you, Avatar Korra." said Tenzin with a proud smile.

Korra was happy, not only because she had great friends (or boyfriend), but also because she was finally a full Avatar.

"By the way, since we're all here. I'd like to say something else." said Katara catching the attention of the others before addressing the gang. "Tenzin told me about your situation and I think I have a way to help you get back to your world." said Katara to the surprise of the gang and the others.

"Really? How?" asked Littlefoot.

"With this." said Katara pulling out of her coat a spherical stone very familiar to the gang.

"Hey, that's the stone that brought us to this world because of that stone." said Ruby.

"Where did you get it?" asked Korra curiously.

"You see. Before Aang even knew he was the Avatar, he found in a hidden cave near the temple a mysterious book that spoke of multiple creatures of different shapes and sizes, those creatures were the dinosaurs." said Katara, leaving those present very surprised.

"Wait, you knew about the existence of dinosaurs all this time?" asked Lin.

"How come you never told me and my siblings about it?" asked Tenzin.

"Because, when the war ended, Aang, the others and I went to that cave to discover that the book had turned to dust over the years and having no more proof of the dinosaurs' existence, we decided to keep it as a secret of ours." said Katara.

"But that doesn't explain where you got the stone." said Korra.

"Hehe. Well, shortly after the book was lost, we discovered a hidden chamber in the cave that contained this mysterious stone. We thought it was just a simple stone, but Aang felt it was much more than it seemed and we decided to save it for when the time was right. And I think this is the moment he was waiting for." said Katara.

"Does that mean we get to go back to our world?" asked Chomper.

"It looks that way." said Katara.

The gang began to celebrate that, after so long in that world, they had finally found their way back home.

But although they were very happy to be back, there was one person who wasn't so happy.

Korra was happy that her friends could return to their world, as she had promised, but she was also sad, for it meant that she would have to say goodbye to the first friends she made in Republic City, those with whom she shared good times and bad.

She didn't want to let them go, but she couldn't force them to stay there either, far from their home or families. She didn't know what to do and Littlefoot was able to sense it.

Nearing the time to leave that world, the gang decided to say goodbye to the friends they made in that world.

Asami was giving Chomper and Ruby one last hug.

"It's been nice meeting you all." said Asami.

"Same here, as it has been a pleasure meeting you too and so I say the same." said Ruby.

"Will you be okay running Future Industries by yourself?" asked Chomper.

"It will be a little difficult at first, but I'll get the hang of it. I'll get Future Industries back to its good name." said Asami.

"We know you will." said Chomper.

"You're smarter and tougher than you look. If anyone will save the company, it's you." said Ruby.

Those comments made the engineer smile.

Petrie was busy being hugged by the three young airbenders, making it almost hard for him to breathe.

"We're going to miss you so much, Petrie." said Ikki shedding tears of sadness.

Petrie was able to break free from the sibling embrace and land in front of them.

"Me will miss you too. You helped me become better flyer." said Petrie.

"It doesn't matter if you're not a human. You'll always be like one of the family." said Jinora.

"Yes, you are an honorary member of our tribe." said Meelo.

"And you part of Petrie's herd." said Petrie before the four shared another hug.

Ducky and Spike were standing in front of Bolin who was shedding tears of sadness.

"Don't be sad, Bolin." said Ducky.

"I can't help it. We've been through so much together. It felt like we were family." said Bolin trying to wipe away his tears.

"And we are. Even though we are different, we are one big family. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"Oh, I'm going to miss you all." said Bolin kneeling down and pulling the swimmer into a hug.

Spike walked over to him and started licking his face.

"Hahaha. Yes, Spike. I'll miss you too." said Bolin stroking the spiketail's head.

"You know? It's going to be really weird not having you around." Mako said to Cera.

"Of course it will. Because you would be lost without us." said Cera with an amused smile.

"Oh, yes? Who says that?" asked Mako with his arms crossed.

"The facts, of course." said Cera.

Mako gave her an amused smile before crouching down to be on her level.

"Take care of yourselves, okay?" asked Mako.

"And you take good care of Korra, huh? If I hear that you have harmed her, I will return to this world to teach you a lesson." said Cera.

"Then I'll try not to let you down." said Mako before he and the threehorn clashed fists.

Korra was kneeling in front of Littlefoot and their situation was much harder than it looked.

"Korra, what's wrong with you?" asked Littlefoot.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you can go back to your world with your families, but still, after everything we've been through together, you're more than a friend. You're like a little brother to me. I don't want to take you away from your home, but I don't want to lose you either. I don't know what to do." said Korra.

"You're like a big sister to me too and I don't want to lose you or the others either, but we have a home to go back to. I don't know what is best for you, nor can I choose it or decide it, none of us can. Wherever we come from, it's our place, but no matter what happens or where we are, we will always be friends. Whatever happens." said Littlefoot as the rest of the gang stood beside him.

Korra was touched by the appreciation of her friends and couldn't help but shed a few tears of happiness. That song undoubtedly touched her heart and the others as well.

Spike approached her.

"We will always be friends, Korra." said Spike for the first time in a long time.

Korra was completely surprised and began to shed more tears of happiness that the ever silent spiketail had spoken just to tell her that.

Korra gathered the whole gang in a group hug.

Once they were separated, the gang made their way to the stone, which Katara set down in the middle of the floor to give them space. Once the gang gathered around the stone, they shared one last look and smile with those present before they touched the stone.

The next instant, a bright light enveloped them and when the light was gone, the gang had disappeared and only the stone remained.

Mako stepped to Korra's side and pulled her into a side hug as they all looked around the area where the gang had once been.

They may have been from different species, they may have been from different worlds, but after all they had been through together, a strong bond of friendship formed between them. Together they were Team Avatar Dinosaur and that was something that would never be broken or disappear no matter what time or world they were in.

AN: It's over! This is where the adventures of our beloved gang with our beloved Avatar ends. Wait a minute! What does it mean it's over? This has only just begun, folks! Littlefoot and his friends will have more adventures with Korra and the others, if you know what I mean for those of you who have seen the series.

Of course, the next part won't be coming for a while and it won't be Book 2. It will be a completely original story in which Team Avatar Dinosaur will live adventures never seen before.

See you in the next story!
