With the tournament having ended all the playable Smashers went back to their respective rooms within the mansion... or at least they would have if the building hadn't been destroyed in 1 final gambit from both Galeem and Dharkon that wrecked the entire place as a result.
"What the hell happened?" Master Hand demanded for he was quite furious at the absolute state of their homestead.
Falco Lombardi scoffed while he was eating a piece of bread. "Those World of Light freak shows; what else?"
Mario sighed while adjusting his iconic red cap that was actually his transforming buddy Cappy. "Well I can see we have to build from scratch all over again..."
"Come on everyone; it's just fixing up the place." The Mii Gunner spoke upon accidentally firing and injuring her fellow Smashers that made everyone glare at her angrily. "Ehehe... sorry!"
The Smashers eventually got over the suspense and started to get to work on the mainframe of the remains since they needed a place to get in their resting after all the battling they've done: and given that the building was in worse shape than usual it would take a very long while.
"Well we better get this all fixed up." Male Corrin pointed out upon placing up various wooden boards; he had a look of satisfaction on his face until the entire building shook from a bunch of Subspace Emissary enemies rushing through to head into the training ground which caused the boards to fall down. "Oh drats... guess I'll have to fix that up again."
"I wonder if we should use other weapons besides swords." Chrom murmured while he looked at the nearby pick axe with curiosity.
Donkey Kong had placed a bunch of barrels around and nodded his head with the evening starting to set in. "Honestly that might help."
"I've been thinking." Captain Falcon said after returning from driving around the Port Town Aero Dive in his Blue Falcon vehicle. "Do we honestly need to live in this overused mansion?"
"A very excellent point." A fellow capt. in Olimar spoke for he was watering his Pikmin on the dirt pave surrounded by the smooth grass. "Maybe it would be better if we had pathways to our home worlds."
Falcon smiled for he was glad that Olimar saw his point entirely and went to park his F-Zero vehicle in the garage that miraculously wasn't wrecked that badly in comparison to the rest of the building it was connected to.
