At work
Eric noticed Nell was not doing anything.
'Hey. You thinking of something?' He asked.
'Yeah. Just thinking of this team, and us.' She replied.
'Like what?'
'Well, Just thinking about how we're basically a found family here. 3 of the agents here come from rough childhoods, 1 comes from a military background, we come from normal childhoods, Hetty is, a lot of things. Yet put us all together, and we're unstoppable!' Nell said.
'Whoa. Guess I never really thought of this team being our second family. Callen and Sam would be like the big brothers, right?'
'Yes. Kensi would be the big sister, Deeks would be the little brother, along with you. I would be the little sister, and Hetty would be the mom.'
'Whoa, that's amazing!' Eric said.
'I know, right?!'
'Say um, would the metaphorical little sister like to join the metaphorical little brother for a party at a friend's house?'
'If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're asking me out.' Nell said.
'It is?'
'It is, and my answer is yes.'
'Awesome! I'll pick you up at 7:30, if we haven't already left work.' Eric said, excited.
