Prue woke up at 5:30 the next morning. She had to get to the museum early today because she was going to be showing off an exhibit she had spent weeks working on. She hated her job but she needed the money. Prue looked over at Andy who was still asleep. She thought about telling him about what happened last night with her Phoebe getting the attic door open and then the whole book of shadows thing but she didn't know how. She didn't even believe that she was a witch who had these special powers. Prue sighed got out of bed and went to take a shower. When she walked back into her and Andy's room she got dressed. Before she left she kissed Andy on the cheek. As she drove to the museum she thought about the night before. Phoebe was back and it hadn't even been a night and she was already stirring stuff up by saying they were witches. Prue didn't know how Phoebe could believe that. It was absolutely ridiculous. There was no way they were witches.
Cordelia woke up to an empty bed. Angel wasn't next to her. "Angel" she called. She saw that Angel wasn't in their room. "Baby are you down here" Cordelia called as she looked around the small apartment her and Angel set up for themselves. Doyle helped a little bit but it was mostly her and Angel. Actually it was mostly her with Angel out being a hero and everything. Cordelia put a shirt on and some shorts and slippers and went into the elevator to find Angel. When the elevator opened she saw Angel sitting at his desk reading a book. She went up behind him and wrapped her arms around him and kissed his neck. "Good morning" she said. "Morning" Angel said not even looking up from the book. Cordelia looked at the page Angel was on and saw it was about magic and witchcraft. "Find anything interesting" she asked. "No I still don't know how he managed to disappear from me. I mean I had him. Maybe one of the witches he killed could disappear" Angel said still not paying attention to Cordelia.
"Maybe you should take a break from trying to find the killer" Cordelia said taking the book and closing it. She sat on his lap so that she was in between his legs. "Cordy I have to find this guy" Angel said as Cordelia kissed the part of his neck that drove him crazy. "You will but it's morning out and there's nothing you can really do right now. Besides all these murders have taken place at night. Now maybe we could continue what we were doing last night" Cordelia said going back to kissing his neck. She was right there was really nothing he could do now and she was driving him crazy right now. Angel threw everything off the desk and picked Cordelia up and put her on the desk. He started kissing her all over. He took his shirt off and threw across the room and removed Cordelia's and did the same thing with it. "You might want lock the door and cover the windows so Doyle doesn't see anything when he comes in to work" Cordelia said.
Angel got up and locked the door. Then he covered the windows. To make sure Doyle couldn't see anything when he came in. When Angel turned around Cordelia was standing completely naked in front of him. Angel loved Cordelia's body and especially making love to it. Cordelia walked up to Angel. "Now this isn't fair. Let's even the playing field" Cordelia said unbuckling Angel's belt. She threw across the room and kissed him pinning him against the door. Angel hurriedly kicked his shoes off and got his pants off and now he was just in his boxers. "Those two" Cordelia whispered in his ear and continued kissing him. Once he took his boxers off he pinned Cordelia against the door and started making love to her. "Angel" Cordelia moaned out numerous times until she finally came. Angel came shortly after with a few moans coming from him saying her name and how much he loved her. After they both realized themselves they took a shower together where they went at it again.
They both got dressed and ate breakfast together. Doyle arrived a half hour later and found Angel and Cordelia cuddled up together on the couch watching some movie. "Whoever made this movie should be fired because this isn't accurate at all" he heard Angel telling Cordelia about the movie they were watching. "Hey guys am I interrupting anything" Doyle asked. "No we are just watching this really stupid movie about vampires which gets everything wrong. I actually find it offensive" Angel said. Cordelia laughed and got a phone call. "Hello" Cordelia said. Her face lit up. "Oh hey Stacy" Cordelia said as she left the room. "Hey man did you ask her yet" Doyle asked Angel. "Not yet but I'm going to tonight" he said. Cordelia came back in the room with her purse. "That was my friend Stacy from Sunnydale she's in town and wants to take me out" Cordelia said as she looked at Angel. "If that's OK with you" she said.
Angel got up and smiled at her. "Of course but remember tonight after I get this guy it's just you and me" he said pulling her close. Cordelia smiled at him. "Of course I wouldn't miss our anniversary for anything" she said and kissed him. He deepened the kiss. Doyle cleared his throat and they remembered he was still there. "I love you" Angel said. "I love you to" Cordelia said giving Angel a sweet kiss. "Bye Doyle" she said as she left. "Bye" Doyle said back in return. He turned to look at Angel. "Your anniversary? Your going to ask her on your anniversary. You don't need any help from me. Apparently you are Mr. romantic over here" Doyle said playfully punching Angel in the shoulder. "It's nothing" Angel said as Doyle just stood there. "Don't we have work to do" Angel said. Doyle nodded his head and got in the elevator and Angel followed him. Doyle walked out into the main entrance and sat behind the computer. Angel sat at his desk and took the ring out of his desk. He was going to ask Cordelia tonight.
Andy woke up and looked next to him and saw Prue was gone. He remembered her telling him she had to leave for the museum early today. He got up and went to shower. He could see from Piper and Phoebe's opened doors that he was the last one to wake up. He was off today and he was going to stay off today. He promised Prue he wouldn't go in. While he was in the shower he thought about some of the things Prue said to him about last night. She said that some weird stuff happened but she didn't say what. When he asked her what weird stuff happened she just told him to forget she even bought it up. He couldn't forget about it though. For whatever reason it stuck with him. Andy got out of the shower and got dressed. He was visiting a couple of friends from college who were in the city for the week so he would be gone for most of the day. When he got outside he saw Piper leave and saw Phoebe standing there.
"Hey Andy where are you going" Phoebe asked. "Just going to visit a couple friends from college who are in the city for the week" Andy said. "Have fun" Phoebe said as she walked back up to the house. She was going to do some more "reading" considering she was up most of the night reading the book of shadows. "Hey Phoebe" Andy called stopping her in her tracks. "Yea" Phoebe said turning around. "Did anything weird happen last night" he asked. Phoebe was shocked. Did he suspect something? Phoebe smiled at him. "No of course not. Why do you ask" Phoebe asked. "Well Prue talked about weird stuff that happened last night but wouldn't tell me what it was. I was just wondering if you knew" Andy said. Phoebe thought for a second. "You know what me and Prue had an actual conversation last night without yelling at each other maybe that was what she meant" she lied. Andy just looked at her. He knew she was lying to him but didn't push the matter further. He just got in his car and left.
Andy arrived at his friend's place a half hour later and was unaware that he was followed. Jeremy watched him go into his friends place and once Andy was out of sight Jeremy walked over to his car. He magically opened the drivers door and then he used his magic to cut the brakes in Andy's car. He left the car and waited. The inspector was going to have an accident today. Inside Andy was catching up with his old friends. This wasn't a small get together like his friends said it would be it was an actual party. There were a bunch of people here and some he didn't know. Andy was leaving the bathroom when he bumped into someone. She wound up spilling her drink on him. "I'm so sorry" she said. He smiled at her. "It's fine. It was my fault I should have been watching where I was going" Andy said. She took a bunch of napkins and started wiping him off. "Whatever it costs for dry cleaning I will pay" she said.
"Honestly it's fine. I'm Andy Trudeau" he said holding out his hand to the woman. She was young had long brown hair and was attractive. He only had eyes for Prue but he couldn't deny this woman was attractive. "Cordelia Chase" she said shaking his hand. "It's nice to meet you. Do you live around here? I've never seen you before" Andy said. Cordelia shook her head. "My boyfriend and I just got a place a few blocks from here" Cordelia said. "2450 Hyde street" she said. "1329 Prescott street" Andy said. "So how long have you lived in San Francisco" Cordelia asked. "All my life. I live with my fiancé and her two sisters now" Andy said. "How about you" he asked her. "We just moved out here last week" she said. Just then Andy's phone went off. Prue sent him a text saying she was on her way home. She had just quit her job. Andy decided he better leave. "I better go" Andy said. Cordelia looked at the time and saw it was close to 3. She had been here for hours. "Yea me to" she said.
Both Andy and Cordelia had said goodbye to their friends and left. Phoebe was riding her bike around the neighborhood when she had a vision. She saw two kids rollerblading and Andy's car coming down the street really fast he beeped the horn and wound up hitting the kids and crashing into a pole. "Andy" Phoebe said under her breath when she came out of the vision. Phoebe kept riding not knowing what was going on. "I'm on my way home I lost track of time. I'm sorry" Cordelia said into the phone to Angel. Angel laughed. "It's fine I've just been here with Doyle trying to get our business up and running" he said. Cordelia got stopped at a red light. Andy was having problems with his car. The brakes weren't working which was weird because he just had them checked. He drove down a street where two kids were rollerblading. He tried the brakes but they wouldn't work. He tried to slow down but that wasn't working either. Something was wrong with his car. Phoebe was watching the whole thing from her bike. She saw Andy's car going fast and not slowing down and the rollerblading kids coming up the street. "No wait" Phoebe screamed and rode her bike faster. Andy's car was coming really fast and so were the kids. Andy beeped his horn. Phoebe rode her bike in between Andy's car and the kids and she fell off her bike and hurt her arm. Andy turned at the last second and hit a pole. The force made his head hit the steering wheel and he was knocked unconscious. Cordelia saw the whole thing from across the street. "Baby I got to go" Cordelia said sounding panicked. "Is everything" Angel started but Cordelia cut him off. "Love you" she said hanging up. Cordelia got out of her car and ran over to see what happened. She reached Phoebe. "Hey are you OK" Cordelia asked her. "Yes check on him" Phoebe said pointing at the car that crashed into the pole. Cordelia ran over there and was shocked by what she saw. "Andy" she said as she saw Andy unconscious in the drivers seat blood coming out from his forehead. Cordelia called an ambulance. No one noticed the cat watching the whole scene.
