"Yes I'm fine. Don't worry" Cordelia said into the phone. She was talking to Angel and he was being very overprotective right now. Sometimes it was cute and other times it was annoying. Cordelia was sitting in the waiting room of the hospital waiting to hear about how Phoebe and Andy were. "I'm almost there. I should be there in about ten minutes" Angel said. "Don't rush I'm fine. Like I said I wasn't involved in the crash I just witnessed it" Cordelia said. A woman walked into the waiting room and up to the front desk. "Excuse me I'm looking for my sister Phoebe Halliwell and my fiancé Andrew Trudeau" Prue said to the woman behind the desk. "I'll see what I can do" the woman said and walked away. Cordelia watched the conversation. So that was Phoebe's sister and Andy's fiancé. "I've got to go" Cordelia said into the phone. "What's the matter" Angel asked a little worried. "Nothing I just have to talk to someone. Love you" Cordelia said. "I love you to" Angel said and they hung up.
Cordelia walked over to Prue. "Hello sorry to bother you but my name is Cordelia Chase. I called the ambulance for your sister and fiance" Cordelia said holding out her hand. Prue shook it. "Prue Halliwell and thank you for calling an ambulance for them" Prue said. "It was no problem I witnessed the accident and just wanted to help. I want to make sure they are both OK" Cordelia said. Prue smiled at her. "Well thank you. I appreciate it" Prue said. "Cordelia" Cordelia heard her name called. She looked behind Prue and saw Angel coming up to her with Doyle behind him. "Angel hey baby" Cordelia said as Angel reached her and hugged her. "Are you OK" Angel asked. Cordelia rolled her eyes. This was one of the annoying overprotective times. "Yes I'm fine. I just want to make sure that Phoebe and Andy are OK" she said. Angel and Doyle both looked at each other. "Who" they said at the same time. "My sister and fiancé" Prue said.
Angel and Doyle both turned around and looked at Prue. "Angel Doyle this is Prue Halliwell. She's the sister of the woman who fell off her bike and the fiancé of the man who drove into the pole" Cordelia said. Prue held out her hand to them. "It's nice to meet you guys" Prue said as they shook her hand. The woman from behind the desk came back. "Your sister just got out of x-rays and is in room 215 and your fiancé just woke up. He's in room 222 and Dr. Gordon is with him right now. You can go see both" the woman said. Prue smiled at her. "Thank you" she said. She turned around to Angel Cordelia and Doyle. She looked at Cordelia. "Thanks again. It was really nice meeting all of you" Prue said. Cordelia smiled. "You to" she said as Prue walked away from them. "OK we can go" Cordelia said as her Angel and Doyle all started to walk away. "Yea let's go I hate hospitals" Doyle said. "You guys hungry. We can go out to dinner the three of us. My treat" Angel said. Cordelia and Doyle nodded.
Prue walked into Phoebe's room who was just getting her stuff together. "Hey are you OK" Prue asked her. "Yes no broken bones or anything. Just some scrapes and bruises. Have you seen Andy yet" Phoebe asked. Prue shook her head. "No I came to see you first. I'm going to see Andy after I make sure your OK" Prue said. Phoebe smiled. "Oh I'm flattered you came to see me first and you were worried about me. Are you sure your my sister" Phoebe asked teasing Prue. "Well you know your room is closer to the entrance" Prue said and smiled. They both laughed. "So you were riding to fast huh" Prue said. "No I was just trying to save two kids from getting run over by Andy. I had a vision about him running them over" Phoebe said. Prue rolled her eyes. "Not this again" she said. "It's true. I saw And hit those two boys and I rode in front of the car and then Andy drove into a pole" Phoebe said. "Look I'm going to see Andy. Are you coming" Prue asked. Phoebe nodded.
Prue and Phoebe made their way to Andy's room. When they got there he was still seeing the doctor. "Take these pills for your head three times a day and you should be fine" the doctor was telling Andy when Prue and Phoebe walked in. The door was open. Prue knocked on the door and both Andy and the doctor turned their attention to her and Phoebe. "Prue" Andy said trying to get up but felt a pain on his side and laid back down. "Andy" Prue said and she went over and hugged and kissed him. "You must be Prue Halliwell. Andy told me about you. There's no need to worry he'll be fine. He has no broken bones or anything just pain on his side and a bad headache. Just get these two prescriptions and they should help" the doctor said handing Prue the prescriptions. "Thank you" Prue said smiling at the doctor. The doctor left. "I'm so glad your OK. So what happened. Why didn't you stop the car" Prue asked.
"I tried but my brakes wouldn't work which is really weird because they were working earlier in the day" Andy said. "That is weird" Prue said. Andy noticed Phoebe standing there and looked at her. "Thank you for getting in my way. If you hadn't I would have hit those kids" Andy said. Phoebe waved it off. "It was no problem. I'm just doing my part" Phoebe said. "So how did you know my brakes weren't working properly? How did you know I wouldn't stop" Andy asked. Phoebe looked at Prue who just shook her head. Prue didn't want all this witch talk to happen in front of Andy right now. "I saw the car going really fast and then you were being your horn so I figured there was something wrong" Phoebe lied. Andy just nodded his head and didn't ask anymore questions. Andy got dressed while Prue signed him out. "I really think you should tell him" Phoebe said to Prue. Prue just gave Phoebe a look that told Phoebe not to push the subject any further. Andy came out of his room and the three of them left.
Angel Cordelia and Doyle had finished their dinner and were heading back to the office when Doyle felt a vision coming. "Pull over man" Doyle said to Angel from the back seat. "Why? Were almost back to the office" Angel said. "Just do it" Doyle yelled. Angel pulled over. The vision came. A woman and a man were in an elevator. The man pulled out a knife. He was about to kill her. "I just had a vision. A man's about to kill a woman in an elevator" Doyle said. Angel started the car up. "Where" he asked. "The old Bowing building on 7th" Doyle said. "That's all the way on the other side of town" Cordelia said. "Well then we better get going" Angel said as he turned the car around and headed to the Bowing building. Cordelia looked over at Angel. He looked determined to get this guy. She knew Angel felt like a failure and she hated that. She took his hand that wasn't driving and kissed it. "Your going to get him. I know it" Cordelia said. He smiled at her.
Prue Phoebe and Andy had just arrived home. Phoebe hit the button on the answering machine to listen to the messages that were left while they were out. "Prue it's Rodger I've decided to let you come back to work. Seriously let's talk" Rodger's voice said on the answering machine. Andy rolled his eyes. "What a dick" he said having heard the message. Phoebe laughed. "Agreed" she said. Phoebe and Andy turned around and they saw Prue walk up with a cat. "Piper's definitely not home unless she's turned into a cat" Prue said as she put the cat down. Andy picked the cat up and looked at the collar. It was the cat from the crime scene last night. "How did this cat get in" Phoebe asked "I don't know someone must have left the window open" Prue said. Prue and Phoebe looked at Andy who was just staring at the cat. "Andy honey are you OK" Prue asked. He held out the cat to Prue and Phoebe. "This cat was at the crime scene last night. It was the victim's cat" Andy said.
"Are you sure? I mean what are the chances that's the same cat" Prue said. "It has the same collar look" Andy said showing Prue and Phoebe the collar. Prue and Phoebe looked at the collar and were shocked. "It's the same symbol" Phoebe whispered to Prue but not low enough because Andy heard. "The same symbol as what? What's going on" Andy asked putting the cat down. Prue and Phoebe looked at each other. Phoebe gave Prue a look and Prue nodded. "Andy look there's something I have to tell you but we have to wait for Piper to come home. It involves me Piper and Phoebe" Prue looked at Phoebe. "Did Piper leave a message" Prue asked. "No she's probably out with Jeremy. Rodger called" Phoebe said. "Yea I heard" Prue said. Both Prue and Phoebe shook their head. Andy looked between the two sisters. He was about to say something when the three of them heard a voice call out. "Prue" Piper called and Prue Phoebe and Andy all turned.
"In here" Phoebe called out. Just then the front door opened and Piper ran in. She quickly closed the door locking it behind her. "Piper" Phoebe said as Prue Phoebe and Andy all looked shocked at how Piper was acting. "Oh my god what is what's wrong" Prue asked. "Piper are you OK" Andy asked. Piper ran up to Phoebe. "Andy can you check the windows and lock all the doors. I have to talk to Prue and Phoebe" she said not wanting Andy to know about them being witches. She couldn't believe Phoebe was right all along. Andy shook his head. "Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on" Andy asked. "Andy come with me" Prue said leading him up the stairs. She was going to show him the book of shadows. She just hoped she didn't lose him because of this. Once Prue and Andy were upstairs Piper turned to Phoebe. "Phoebe in the book of shadows did it say how to get rid of a" Piper started but couldn't think of the word. "Warlock" Phoebe finished for her. She shook her head and went upstairs.
Angel Cordelia and Doyle arrived at the building and Angel got out of the car. He opened the trunk and took out a sword. He was going to kill this warlock once and for all. Cordelia grabbed a axe from the trunk but Angel put it back. "Stay here with Doyle" Angel said. Cordelia grabbed Angel's hand. "No I want to help" Cordelia said. "You are by staying out of danger and me knowing you are safe" Angel said. Cordelia shook her head. "That's not good enough. I'm going with you" she said grabbing the axe again. Angel didn't have time to have this conversation. He picked her up put her in the passenger seat took the axe from her and turned to Doyle. "Make sure she stays" Angel said. Doyle nodded. "You got it" he said. Angel looked at Cordelia. "I love you" he said and ran off. He knew she was mad but he didn't really have time to have this argument. Doyle moved up to the front and looked at Cordelia who was sitting in the passengers seat with her arms crossed seething mad.
"He'll be OK" Doyle said. Cordelia turned to look at Doyle. "Can you believe he just did that? Who does he think he is" Cordelia asked. "Well he's a champion and he has to save people" Doyle said. "I know that but were supposed to be a team the three of us. Granted we don't have a name yet and everything but it's supposed to be us three helping people together" Cordelia said. Doyle put his hand on Cordelia's shoulder. "We all do our part. Angel slays the monsters I get the visions and you" Doyle started but was cut off by Cordelia. "I what. Am I just supposed to sit there and answer the phones for him" Cordelia said. Doyle smiled at her. "You give him something to fight for. You make sure he stays on the path of good and you show him this world is worth saving" Doyle said. Cordelia was surprised. "He said all that" she asked. Doyle shook his head. "He doesn't have to. It's obvious in the way he looks at you. You are everything to him so you can't blame the man for wanting to protect you" Doyle said.
Cordelia looked at Doyle and then hugged him. "Thanks Doyle" she said. Doyle smiled at her. "Anytime" he said. Cordelia broke the hug and got out of the car. She got the axe from the trunk. Doyle stopped her. "What do you think you are doing" Doyle asked. "I'm going to help Angel" Cordelia said pushing past Doyle. "I can't let you do that" he said. "I have to" Cordelia said. "Did you seriously not hear a word I said" Doyle asked. "I heard you but what you described is how I feel about Angel to. I have to help him. Doyle please let me help him" Cordelia said. " I can't I'm sorry" Doyle said and he grabbed Cordelia to bring her back to the car. She punched him in the face and ran off in the same direction as Angel. "Crap" Doyle said as he watched Cordelia run off. "Sorry" she yelled back. Angel was going to kill him. To be honest Doyle was kind of scared of Angel when he got mad. He wasn't as scary as Angelus but still scary. He would be especially mad if anything happened to Cordelia. Doyle ran after her.
Angel was running down the alleyway to the building. He was going to find this warlock kill him and then he would deal with his relationship with Cordelia. As Angel was running he saw a man running the opposite way. The man had a knife in his hand and he stopped when he saw Angel. He laughed. "I finally get to meet the famous Angelus" Jeremy said. "The names Angel" Angel said. Jeremy nodded his head. "That's right you've gone soft haven't you" Jeremy said. Angel smiled. "Well not that soft. I can still kick your ass" Angel said. Jeremy laughed again. "You don't stand a chance" Jeremy said. "We'll see" Angel said as he charged Jeremy. They got into a fight which Angel was winning. Angel pinned Jeremy against the chain link fence and was going to stab him when Jeremy surprised Angel and stabbed him in the gut. Angel yelled out in pain. Jeremy used his magic to make the chain from the fence wrap around Angel and trap him in the fence.
The sword fell from Angel's hand as Angel was now trapped in the fence with the chains around him. Angel tried to escape but it was no use. "I got that power from the witch I killed two weeks ago" Jeremy said as he picked up Angel's sword. He stabbed Angel again and once again Angel yelled out. Angel was fighting to stay conscious. "I'm about to kill the great Angelus. Say goodbye vampire" Jeremy said as he raised the sword. He was going to chop Angel's head off. Jeremy yelled out in pain as someone just hit him in the back with a sharp blade. Angel looked up and saw Cordelia standing there. "Cordy" Angel said now becoming more alert. Jeremy turned around just as Cordelia was swinging the axe again but this time he caught it. He ripped it out of her hands and threw it down the alleyway. Jeremy pinned Cordelia against the fence across from where Angel was. "Don't you dare touch her. I will kill you" Angel screamed and really struggled against the chains holding him in place. Jeremy watched how hard Angel struggled and laughed. "The great Angelus has fallen in love. This makes killing you so much more fun" Jeremy said stroking Cordelia's face. Jeremy raised his knife and was about to kill Cordelia. Angel just struggled helplessly seeing the life he built for himself and his future with Cordelia passing before his eyes. He was about to lose everything.
