Angel and Andy were working on the case when Darryl walked over. "Don't tell me you're the brother of someone from a couple that has went missing" Darryl said to Angel. "Actually Morris he's a friend of mine. He's a private investigator I called to help us with the case. His name is Angel. Angel this is Darryl Morris my partner" Andy said. Angel and Andy just sat there waiting for Darryl's reaction. "So you're a private investigator" Darryl said looking Angel up and down. He didn't look like any private investigator Darryl knew. "Yes" Angel said to answer Darryl's question. Darryl wasn't sure about this but he figured they could use the help so why not. Darryl held out his hand which Angel took. "So is it just Angel or do you have a last name" Darryl asked. "It's just Angel" Angel said. "OK so what do we got" Darryl asked. "Nothing new really. Me and Angel were thinking we could do a stakeout tonight outside Quake" Andy said. "Sounds like a plan to me" Darryl said.
When night hit Andy Darryl and Angel all left the police station to stakeout Quake. They arrived and Andy parked across the street. "So you think the kidnapper is kidnapping people who don't have a lot of family out here" Darryl asked Angel. "Yea that's what me and my associates think. None of the victims have a lot of family in the city so it's easier for the kidnapper to get away with this" Angel said. Andy shook his head. "The first two couples had no family out here and we didn't find out about them until we found out about the third couple" Andy said. Darryl nodded in agreement. "Well at least you know you and Prue are safe. I mean she has two sisters that you guys live with. They would notice if you guys go missing" Darryl said. "What about you Angel? Do you and your fiancé have a lot of family out here" Darryl asked. "No it's just me and her but we'll be fine" Angel said as his phone rang. Angel pulled it out of his coat and answered it.
"Hello" Angel said. "Angel man I'm here at Quake and Cordelia refused to come home" Doyle said. "What" Angel asked. "Yea man she said she wants to stay and help Piper. She won't listen to me about the kidnapper getting his victims from here. I'm watching over her right now to make sure she is fine" Doyle said. "OK keep any eye on her I'll be right in" Angel said hanging up the phone. "Hey what's happening" Andy asked. "Cordelia is in Quake now and won't go home even though our friend Doyle told her about the kidnapper. She's kind of stubborn" Angel said. "Sounds familiar" Andy said laughing. "I'm going to go in there and get her out you guys stay here in the car" Angel said getting out before Andy or Darryl could protest. "What just happened Darryl asked Andy. Andy shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know but he's right. We should stay out here and wait for the kidnapper" Andy said. "Do you trust him" Darryl asked. Andy nodded his head. "I do" he said.
Angel was searching around Quake for Cordelia or Doyle. He couldn't find either of them. Angel continued walking through the restaurant and stopped at what he saw. Prue was sitting at table with Stefan and Leigh the photographers him and Cordelia had met earlier in the day. Prue waved at Angel and walked up to him. "Hey is Andy here? We have a meeting with those two photographers for our engagement photos" Prue said. Angel looked at the two photographers suspiciously. It was weird to him that they were going to take both his and Cordelia's and Prue and Andy's photos for their engagements. It couldn't be a coincidence that Angel was a vampire with a soul and Prue was a charmed one. It had to mean something. Now he definitely didn't want Cordelia in here right now. "Angel have you seen Andy? I know you two were working together" Prue asked with brought Angel back to reality. "Andy's out in the car. We were staking out Quake looking for the kidnappers" Angel said.
"Thanks he must have forgotten about the meeting. I'll text him" Prue said. "Have you seen Cordelia" Angel asked. "No but Doyle's right over there" Prue said pointing towards the bar. Angel looked behind him and saw Doyle sitting at the bar. "Thanks" he said as Prue started to walk away. Angel stopped her. "Be careful with those two. I don't trust them" he said. Prue shook her head and went back to the table with the photographers. Angel walked over to Doyle. "Hey Doyle where's Cordy" he asked. "Hey man she's right there taking that table's order" Doyle pointed to where Cordelia was. "Thanks" Angel said as he walked over to Cordelia. When she saw him she smiled. "Hey babe I thought you were working with Andy on this case" Cordelia said. "We were staking this place out but then Doyle called me and said you refused to leave" Angel said. Cordelia rolled her eyes knowing why Angel was here. "I'm not leaving" Cordelia said walking away from Angel. Angel followed her.
Back outside Andy and Darryl were sitting in their car looking at the pictures of the missing couples. "What do you want me to say something just does not feel right about this. I can't help it" Andy said scratching his nose while looking at one of the pictures. Darryl just shook his head frustrated. "Here we go again" he said. "I mean where are they right? What's this guy doing with these poor couples" Andy asked. "Thinking alien abduction are ya" Darryl asked looking at Andy and smiling. He didn't believe any of Andy's conspiracy theory's. Sometimes a case was just a case. Nothing crazy had to be going on. Andy turned and looked at Darryl not liking how he was making a joke out of this. "I'm serious Morris" Andy said turning back to the photo he was holding. Darryl just looked at Andy. He couldn't believe Andy was still going on about all this crazy stuff. "I know that's what scares me" Darryl said. Andy put the photo down.
"Let me guess favorite movie growing up ghostbusters. Am I right" Darryl said. Andy just looked over at Darryl. He couldn't tell Darryl that he knew he was right and there was probably something supernatural behind these kidnappings because that would mean telling Darryl about Prue and her sisters and also about Angel. Those were secrets Andy was going to keep no matter what. "Look we gat a crazy Trudeau who likes to kidnap couples that's it the end" Darryl said. Andy picked up one of the photos again and looked at it. "If he comes back looking for more were going to grab him tag him and make the world a safer place. Is that too hard to follow" Darryl said. Andy looked back at Darryl again. He just nodded his head. He couldn't push this too far because he had to protect Prue Piper Phoebe and Angel and all of their secrets so he just dropped it. "Evil dead 2" Andy said which made Darryl look at him confused.
"Favorite movie growing up just for the record" Andy said looking at Darryl and smiling. Darryl smiled back. Just then Andy's phone went off. He took out his phone and looked at it. It was a text from Prue. "At meeting with photographers. Angel said you were outside. Waiting for you" Oh crap Andy thought he had totally forgotten about the meeting him and Prue had with the photographers who would take their engagement photos. "Bank across the street I think we should grab the ATM tapes and see if" Darryl started to say as Andy got out of the car. "Whoa where are you going? No forget it. Your not blowing our cover" Darryl said. "I got a text from Prue about this meeting we have with photographers for our engagement photos which I forgot about. I'll only be like five minutes" Andy said. Darryl held up his watch and Andy set his watch for five minutes. Andy walked into Quake. This was about his wedding to Prue. There was no way he was missing this meeting.
Andy walked through the restaurant and found Prue talking to the two photographers. He walked over. "Sorry I'm late. Working on a big case" Andy said kissing Prue. "So this is the lucky guy" Stefan said. "Andrew Trudeau right" Stefan said standing up and holding out his hand. "Yea I called you to take our engagement photos and I prefer Andy" Andy said shaking Stefan's hand. "My name is Stefan and this is my wife Leigh. We will be taking your photos" Stefan said as Leigh stood up and shook Andy's hand. Andy sat down next to Prue and put his arm around her. "So what did I miss" Andy asked. Leigh handed Andy some papers. "So everything was set up by Prue. It's all on those papers. The only thing we need is to know when we can do this" Stefan said. "I wanted to wait for you with your work schedule and everything" Prue said to Andy. "We can do it tomorrow before I go to work. We can have breakfast and then we'll come by" Andy said.
"Around what time would that be" Leigh asked. "Around 8 8:30" Andy said. Stefan and Leigh smiled. "Perfect that works for us" Leigh said. Jus then Phoebe walked in wearing an Armani dress. Prue saw her walking over. "Where did she get that dress" Prue said. Andy looked at Phoebe and shrugged. "I don't know didn't she always own it" Andy asked. "There's no way that's Armani" Prue said to Andy who looked really confused. "It's really expensive" Prue explained for Andy. Andy nodded in understanding. Phoebe reached the table. "Prue Andy hi. I thought you were working Andy" Phoebe said. "I am me and Prue just had this meeting with these photographers about our engagement photos" he said. "Stefan Leigh this is my sister Phoebe. Phoebe Stefan and Leigh" Prue said. Phoebe shook both of their hands. "It was a pleasure to meet you" Stefan said to Phoebe. "Oh you have no idea how much of a pleasure this is. I'm a big fan of our guys work" Phoebe said. "It's always nice to meet a fan" Leigh said.
"Nice dress" Prue said. "Don't worry it's not yours" Phoebe said. Stefan and Leigh looked between the two sisters and could sense tension. Andy was looking at the papers to see what was decided without him as he was used to Prue and Phoebe fighting so this was nothing new to him. "I know I could never afford it" Prue said. The smile dropped from Phoebe's face. "Maybe we should talk about this somewhere more private" Phoebe said. Prue smiled at Stefan Leigh and Andy. "Will you guys excuse me for one minute" Prue said as she kissed Andy got up and walked to the kitchen with Phoebe. "Does that happen often" Stefan asked. Andy smiled at them. "Yea all the time. They love each other they just have a lot of issues they need to work out" he said. "I'm sorry I should probably go and make sure they don't kill each other. We'll see you guys tomorrow morning" Andy said as he got up and shook hands with them again. After Andy left Stefan looked down at his hand and sees that it's turning old.
When Prue and Phoebe walked into the kitchen they saw that Angel and Cordelia were already in there having there own argument. "This has nothing to do with me being jealous which I am not by the way. I just think it's weird that the same photographers want to take our engagement photos and Prue and Andy's to" Angel said loudly. "Their photographers it's what they do. You are being ridiculous" Cordelia said. Angel and Cordelia were still arguing while Prue and Phoebe were having their argument. "How are you going to pay for that your broke" Prue asked. "Not for long" Phoebe said. "What does that mean" Prue asked as realization came to her. "You didn't use your powers again" she said. "Maybe. Are you telling me you haven't" Phoebe asked. "No I'm not telling you that but we're not talking about me are we" Prue said. Piper was freaking out. Prue and Phoebe and Angel and Cordelia were all arguing in her kitchen right now.
"Could you all please stop fighting" Piper asked but the four people didn't listen. "I'm not leaving" Piper heard Cordelia say. "What part of there is someone kidnapping people from Quake don't you get" Angel yelled. They were both really mad and their fight was escalating. "Wow way to go you want to scare the whole restaurant" Cordelia yelled back at Angel. "Well maybe they would listen better" Angel yelled at Cordelia again. Piper looked at Prue and Phoebe. "What did you go to the track play the market what" Prue asked. "A lottery" Phoebe said. "Phoebe you can't be serious" Piper said agreeing with Prue. "What did you want me to do ignore the premonition? Not help a needy family that's what we're supposed to do right" Phoebe yelled. "No we are not supposed to use our powers for our own personal gain that is what it says in the book of shadows" Prue yelled back. "Not so loud" Piper said having a mini freak out. She looked back over at Angel and Cordelia.
"Maybe if you would stop being so controlling then maybe I would listen more" Cordelia yelled. Piper saw that Angel was really frustrated. "I am just trying to protect you" Angel yelled back. "I don't want or need your protection" Cordelia yelled at Angel. "Yea well tell that to the demon in Sunnydale who almost sacrificed you to their god. Who saved you? Oh yea that's right me" Angel yelled. Piper looked back at Prue and Phoebe. "You said we needed money so I'm getting some" Phoebe yelled. "Will you guys please" Piper said. "So get a job like everyone else" Prue yelled back at Phoebe. "I'm using my mind instead" Phoebe said. Just then Andy walked in. He saw Prue and Phoebe and Angel and Cordelia fighting and he saw Piper trying to stop Prue and Phoebe so he decided to try to stop Angel and Cordelia from fighting. "Guys" Andy said walking up to Angel and Cordelia. "Maybe you should find someone else to be a creepy stalker with" Cordelia yelled taking off her engagement ring and throwing it at Angel.
"Yea well maybe they would appreciate it more" Angel yelled at Cordelia. Andy went to pick up the engagement ring for Angel when he accidently hit someone who was carrying a bunch of plates. He was about to drop them. "Watch it" Piper yelled and everyone in the kitchen froze except her Prue and Phoebe. Piper Prue and Phoebe looked at the frozen people. "No no no not again" Piper said pacing around the room. Prue looked at Phoebe. "Now look at what you've done" she said to Phoebe. "So this is my fault" Phoebe yelled back at her. "You guys aren't frozen" Piper said. "I guess it doesn't work on witches" Phoebe said as the kitchen door opened and Doyle walked in. He looked around and saw everyone frozen including Angel and Cordelia. He walked over and nudged both Angel and Cordelia. They unfroze. They looked around. "What the hell" Angel asked. "Well it looks like Piper froze the whole kitchen" Doyle said.
"How are you guys unfrozen" Piper asked Angel and Cordelia. "Oh I have experience with time freezing witch's. All you have to do is nudge the person or object you want to unfreeze and they'll unfreeze before the room unfreezes" Doyle said walking over to Andy and nudging him. Andy unfroze. He picked up the engagement ring and looked around him confused. "What happened" Andy asked. "Piper froze the entire kitchen and Doyle unfroze you Angel and Cordelia" Prue said. Andy still looked confused. He gave the engagement ring back to Angel who put it in his pocket. "How long does it last Doyle" Phoebe asked. "Well it depends on the witch and considering you guys are new to this whole witch thing I would say not long. Oh and the dining room isn't frozen" Doyle said. "Oh tell me this isn't happening" Piper said freaking out. Cordelia walked over to Piper. "Piper breathe relax it's going to be OK we will figure this out all of us together" she said.
Darryl walked into Quake looking for Andy and Angel. He couldn't believe they chose now to deal with their relationships. Stefan and Leigh looked up and saw Darryl. He put his hand in his pocket revealing his badge. They got up and left. "Calm down. It's OK it's all going to be OK" Phoebe said to Piper trying to calm her down. "Yea Piper don't worry everything will unfreeze and it'll be like nothing happened" Andy said trying to help Phoebe calm Piper down. Prue and Angel looked outside the door and saw Darryl talking to the hostess. "Darryl just came in and he's headed this way" Prue said. "What are we going to do" Piper asked. "I'll deal with him" Andy said. "No you stay here try to calm Piper down and maybe everything will unfreeze. I'll stall him" Angel said as he walked out of the kitchen. "Hey Darryl I think I might have any idea about who's behind the kidnappings" Angel said. "Really where's Trudeau he should really here this to" Darryl said.
"You mean he's not with you. I thought you guys we're supposed to be staking this place out" Angel said. "Trudeau got a text from Prue and came in here. Is he in there" Darryl asked pointing to the kitchen. "I don't know is he" Angel asked. Back in the kitchen Andy Doyle Cordelia Prue and Phoebe were all trying to calm Piper down. "OK breathe Piper breathe" Phoebe said as Cordelia fanned Piper with a tray. "Just relax Piper" Andy was saying. In the dining room Angel was trying to stop Darryl from walking into the kitchen. "I haven't seen him" Angel said as Darryl walked around him and into the kitchen. Angel followed him trying to stop him as everything in the kitchen unfroze. The plates fell to the floor and shattered. "Hey Morris is it five minutes already" Andy faked knowing full well he was in Quake longer than five minutes. He just couldn't leave Prue Piper and Phoebe like that with everything frozen.
"Actually I gave you ten" Darryl said pointing to his watch. Andy looked at it. "I guess I lost track of time" he said. Prue Piper Phoebe Angel Cordelia and Doyle all looked at each other. "Guys you know we're really busy in here" Piper said. Phoebe nodded her head in agreement. "Yea we're leaving" Andy said. "I'll call you when I get home" Prue said to Andy giving him a quick kiss and leading them out. "I'm going with them" Angel said going to leave but stopping at the door to look at Cordelia. She looked away from him. He left the kitchen and followed Andy and Darryl out of Quake. "Bye" Phoebe called. "What happened between you two" Doyle whispered to Cordelia. "I'll explain later" Cordelia whispered back. "I hate being a witch" Piper said walking away. Prue Phoebe Cordelia and Doyle all looked at each other. That was a close call. They would have to be more careful in the future otherwise it wouldn't be good for any of them.
