A new peaceful morning dawned in the Violet city. Dark clouds obscured the sky, making the morning seem even more depressing for Luna. She couldn't sleep, because every time she closed her eyes, the same scene would play out before her eyes. Every time the same houndoom would attack her and she would feel the same type of pain every time. Only that each time the pain would be worse than the time before and feels more real. Giving up on sleep Luna looked at the two eevees next to her, how carefree they sleep snuggled up next to each other. If nothing else at least they were saved from Team Rocket. Luna couldn't even imagine what would have happened if she hadn't followed that " instinct" of her's. That was in question too. What was that back then when she knock out the houndoom without touch? There are so many unanswered questions. Does she even want to know the answers in general or is she too scared.
It was 7:00 in morning. Too early for Luna to be awake but as things stand, lying down isn't helping either. So she slowly got out of her bed without disturbing the eevees and went down the stairs to the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea in hope that will calm her down. As she waited for the water to boil, she watched the dawn slowly turn into morning and the pidgys fly freely in the sky. Although the morning was cloudy, it somehow brought peace to Luna's heart as she poured herself a cup of fresh tea., Maybe we think too much about the last night. I have to pull myself together.' she said to herself developing a small smile on her face.
, You couldn't sleep?" Luna's mother said, looking how Luna standing by the window with a calm smile and a wandering gaze. Luna looked at her mother and just put on a bigger smile and answered , Yes, after so much excitement it was hard for me to fall asleep." Marina stood for a few seconds by the kitchen door with sadness in her eyes. She knew Luna was trying to hide her fear and insecurity behind her smile. She was always like that, no matter how difficult the situation was, she would smile like everything is alright., Listen Luna, your dad and I talked last night and decided it was best not to talk about what happened outside the house. OK?" Said Marina with a comforting voice. Luna nodded in agreement and then sat down at the kitchen table with an almost empty mug in her hands. She drank the little tea she had left and asked her mother, who sat down not long after her at the table right next to her. ,Can we keep the eevees? I will take care about them and be responsible i promise". Marina couldn't help but smile and stroke Luna's head. After all, she puts others first and then herself. She couldn't be more proud of her little girl., Of course. After everything they've been through they deserve a safe home. And I think pikachu would enjoy company." Marina said with a big smile on her face. As soon as Marina said that, Luna started jumping and shouting with happiness and excitement.
,Since when is Luna able to get up this early?" Josh said in a joking tone as he walked into the kitchen rubbing his tired eyes and trying to make him more awake. A few moments later pikachu joined them in the kitchen. When he entered, he looked confused at Luna, as if she had grown a second head, and then turned to his trainer with questionable look., Looks like even pikachu is surprised to see you this early." Josh said laughing at the look on pikachu's enjoyed the morning family atmosphere. Everything seemed as if yesterday's fiasco had not happened., Ok that's enough jokes. I will start preparing breakfast and you two will go straight to washing up." Marina said taking a stern but playful pose with her hands on her waist and a serious face. Luna and her dad hurried out of the kitchen saying "YES ma'am" and laughing.
After Luna finished off her morning hygiene and changed out of her pajamas, she went over to wake up the eevees for breakfast. They look so calm and peaceful, that she felt
almost guilty for having to wake them up. But she knew if she wanted the eevees to recover quickly they had to eat well. Luna sat on the bed and started to wake up the
eevees by petting their heads and calling them out., Come on little ones it's time for breakfast. You can still sleep later if you want." Luna said in as gentle a tone as she could
manage. The first to wake up was an eevee with bandages on her head. When she opened her eyes, the eevee was confused because she didn't recognize where she was.
Then everything went through her head, how she was running away from Team Rocket, the meeting with a strange girl, the Houndoom attack... she started to jump to her feet,
but the pain in her head and dizziness stopped her and forced her to lie down again., Hey, slow down! You don't have to be afraid, we are safe. Those idiots from Team Rocket
won't bother us for a while." Luna said trying to reassure the eevee.
The eevee seemed to recognize the girl's voice and then turned to her brother, who was still sleepy and
disorientated. Eevee let out a sigh of relief knowing she and her brother were safe. Then she began to bark at her brother with her front paws to wake him up. Luna watched
the two eevees interact and felt a warmth around her heart. Luna always wanted to have a younger sibling. When both eevees were fully awake, Luna picked up the eevee
with the broken paw and said, Dad said you can't walk or put weight on your paw for at least two weeks, so I'm going to take you to the kitchen so we can all eat together. OK"
She then got out of bed with one of the eevees in her hands and turned to the other., Do you want me to carry you too if you're not feeling well?" Luna offered. But eevee
eevee seems to be okay and jumped off the bed.
When the three of them went downstairs to the kitchen breakfast was ready. Josh prepared three portions of food for the pokemons. Marina prepared pancakes with raspberries and bananas for breakfast., After Luna took a few bites of her breakfast Josh spoke to her., You don't have to go to school today. After such a shock, it would be better to stay home and rest." But that somehow didn't sit well with Luna. She's never let anything stop her, and she doesn't plan to start now. And teacher Yoshikava doesn't like her too
much anyway, so she doesn't take any chances. so she looked at her father calmly and decisively. , Sorry dad but I'd rather go to school today." Josh looked into her eyes and
knew that she would not give in, so he had no choice but to agree. Luna quickly finished her breakfast, then ran to her room to pack the books she needed for school.
After she finished packing she looked at her alarm clock to see what time it was. The clock showed 8:30. She had enough time to get to school slowly and without haste.
,Luna, don't forget your umbrella and rain coat. It's going to rain today and i wouldn't want you to get wet on halfway to school." Luna's mother shouted from living room. Luna immediately packed umbrella into one of the compartment of her backpack. She hurried to living room to say goodbye to her mother and two eevees. Josh had already gone to the gym to work along with pikachu. Before Luna left the house for school, she turned to her mother and said, We need to give them a names so we can tell them apart."Marina just smiled because she knows that Luna has already come up with names for the eevees., So what will we call them??" Luna clapped with her hands and spread a smile across her face, The girl's name will be Sunny and boy's name will be Star!." she said with cheerful voice., Those are wonderful names. But you do better hurry so you're not late for school." said Marina with silly voice. Luna just nodded and left the house. When she left the yard she looked up to sky and at the gloomy clouds that appeared as if it would rain at any moment., I'd be better hurry up." said Luna and start to walk fast.
Luna arrived in the class about 5 minutes before the bell. While she was getting ready for class, she felt a light tao on her shoulder. When she turned around, Maya and Matt were standing next to her, with smiles on there faces., Good morning Luna. How are you?" Maya said politely., So you decided to show up on time today. Poor Mr. Yoshikava, he hoped to finally give someone detention." said Matt with fake sad voice, while mimicking crying., And someone won't be me today so sorry for disappointment." Luna said proudly acting along with Matt. Thay all started laughing at their own joke., How are you today guys?". asked Luna., Nah, nothing much." Said Matt sullenly., I am just little worried become Thay say there would be a storm this afternoon. So i hope it will wait until I get home". Maya stated in a worried voice as she looked at her feet nervously.
, You don't have to worry. Strong storms aren't a frequent occurrence in center of Johto region. So we will be fine." said Luna trying to comfort Maya. Maya really appreciated Luna's attempts to comfort her. But she couldn't shake off the feeling that something bas was coming., However, the first period is musical education. I heard that the teacher is an old granny. It will be boring". And then he started to imitates old lady in hilarious way. Then Maya looked little more relaxed. It's seems that even if he behaves gloomy and rudely, Matt really and deeply care about his friends. Like now how he trying to cheer up Maya.
Soon old lady come into the classroom and class started.
Tada was so boring in classes. In history almost the whole class fall asleep, because how slowly teacher was talking. On the English teacher won't stop talking on phone and teacher Mr. Yoshikava called her three times to come in front board. It seems that she definitely got on his bad side.But good news is she didn't have a single , episode,. No paint, no hypertension and nothing weird has happened.That made Luna so happy. But there was one little problem. Storm was so strong that student need to wait in the school for there parents to come and pick them up. And ice on cake power was off.
Some students were waiting inside their classroom and some were under the canopy at the school entrance. Luna was with her friends under canopy, watch how the rain fall. Somehow all this rain and thunder calmed Luna. One by one, cars of parents entered the school yard to pick up children.
Maya was getting more and more nervous the longer we waited. Luna decided to start a conversation to ease the nervousness and tension in the air., Matt what's your favorite Pokemon?" asked Luna., My favorite is a Mew. He is legendary Pokemon. And i planning to catch it". ,So Matt wants to be Pokemon trainer but why he isn't go to Pokemon academy or started his journey.' Luna thought. , Oh please. You wouldn't be able to catch a baby Weedle, let alone legendary Pokemon that no one has seen in centuries ". Luna Revealed that Maya and Matt have been friends since Thay were in diapers and from then they drive each other crazy. But somehow you can see that they care for each other. Something like i hate you i love you.
, My favorite is Blissey. i grow next to one so i like them the most. How about you Luna?" asked Maya. Luna said loudly with smile , I love them all!". Matt and Maya were taken aback., How you must like someone more?" Then Luna start explaining, You see everyone pokemon has his advantages and weakness. Some are strong, some fast same are clever... So it hard to for me to decide which one is my favorite." She say with big smile on her face. Maya and Matt look at Luna amazed., You know what Luna you are right. Every Pokemon is special on it own way". said Maya. And Matt nodded as agreed.
But chat didn't last long because Maya's parents arrived. They parked near the entrance of school yard, which means Maya need to to another side school yard. , Ok guy i need to go. See you tomorrow!"
Maya said and hugged Luna and waved to Matt. She opened her umbrella and started to walk carefully not to wet herself with water from the ponds. But suddenly black car entered the yard at too high a speed and we're heading straight towards Maya. Luna couldn't waste a second and run to Maya and tried to cover her with own body as much as possible.And everything happened like on a slow motion.
it was same as when she was being chased by houndoom. A shape appeared in her chest and straight energy started to flow through her and to gather around her. Her whole body began to tremble form pain. Luna was scared for Maya for herself. After the strange energy left her body she noticed that it didn't come to the crash. Maybe driver was able to brake on time. She and Maya falled on there knees and then turned theirs heads toward the car. What Luna saw make her blood run colder then ice. Care where on a few centimeters from her and Luna with the crashed hood. It looked like care hit a invisible wall. It seems that the driver was alright but he looked at them like he saw a ghost., Luna..." Maya called her.Luna looked Maya and searching for anything or any injuries. But she looked he with horror in her eyes., Your eyes... Thay glow." Than Luna got herself away from her like she was made of fire. Then she looked towards the school enter where all students looked her some in amazed some in horror.
, No, no, no,no.. This wasn't suppose to happen. Why in front everyone? Why??" Luna thought and started to cry and run towards her home. She didn't care for rain, thunder or anything else. All she knows she was scared and confused. She almost killed someone. And all that eyes looked he with horror and fear. , Why is this happening? Why me?!!" Luna screamed inside her head and hoped any secund she will be home.
