Prue Piper Phoebe Andy Angel Cordelia and Doyle were all in the kitchen of the manor after the attack from the dog. "How big was this dog again" Phoebe asked eating some cookies from a cookie jar. "Huge. Have you seen the scratches on the attic door" Prue said. "He was pretty powerful to. More powerful than a dog should be" Angel said. "Hey that looks pretty bad are you sure your OK" Andy asked Angel looking at his arm. "Yea I'll be fine" Angel said. "I'll patch you up when we get home" Cordelia said. "Sorry I couldn't help more Angel. I just froze when I saw the dog" Prue said. Angel shook his head. "It's fine. At least no one got hurt" Angel said. "Doyle do you know anything about demon dogs" Angel asked. Doyle shook his head. "No I can go see if any of my contacts do though once we leave here" he said. "I'm concerned about what it was doing in the house" Piper said. "I don't know someone obviously left the front door open again" Prue said looking at Phoebe.
"Why do you always assume it was me? What about Piper" Phoebe asked as she put another cookie in her mouth. "Not it" Piper said. "Well whoever it was we just got to remember to lock the doors from now on" Andy said. "Well it's not a big deal we checked the house and nothing is missing except my Pat Boone Christmas CD" Phoebe said eating another cookie. Piper Prue and Andy all exchanged a look. "Yea well I think you guys should be careful. We don't know what that dog was. For all we know it could have been a demon or something" Angel said. "You know this is really creepy. If there was a dog in the house than it had to have an owner. No dog I know can open that front door let alone reach the top shelf" Piper said. "Unless it's not a regular dog like Angel said" Cordelia said. "You actually think the dog could be a demon. Is that even possible? I mean do demon dogs exist" Andy asked. "Of course they exist. If that was a demon dog that means we all have to be careful" Doyle said.
"Hey maybe we should get a security system" Phoebe said eating another cookie. "No they are way to expensive" Prue said picking up clothes from the kitchen table. "Besides you guys have me and I will be coming home during my breaks from work to check on the house" Andy said. "Yea and you have us. We can come around every once in a while" Angel said. "So what should we do" Phoebe asked. "Well either we could rely on our vicious guard cat to protect us or we could remember to lock the doors" Prue said walking into the laundry room. "That is a really good idea Prue" Phoebe said putting the cookie jar down and getting up. She walked over to the laundry room door closed it and locked it. Then she walked away. Prue tried to open the door. Everyone laughed even Andy who covered his face to hide his laugh. "Unlock the door Phoebe" Prue said. Andy walked over and unlocked the door. Angel Cordelia and Doyle left after Cordelia got her purse back and they all called it a night.
The next morning Angel was trying to find any information on this dog he could and having no luck. Cordelia was cleaning around the outer office because she said it was important for their clients that they have a clean and professional office especially the paying ones. Angel didn't feel comfortable taking money from people he was helping. It felt wrong to him but Cordelia always told him this was a business and they needed to make money. Doyle walked into the outer office. "No luck. Nobody knows anything about a demon dog that might be in town" he said. "Dammit" Angel said as he walked into his office. Doyle followed him. "You know seeing as how we can't find anything on this dog and nobody seems to know anything maybe we should talk about the wedding" Doyle said. Angel shook his head. "No we have to find out what kind of demon this dog is. Our lives are to busy right now" Angel said. "Listen man stuff is always happening around here. If not now than when" Doyle said.
Angel was about to say something when him and Doyle heard Cordelia scream from the other room. Angel and Doyle ran in to see what was wrong. When they got in the room they saw Cordelia standing by the door her back to them. Angel ran over to her. "Cordy what happened? Are you OK" Angel asked worriedly. When she turned around Angel saw her holding a box and she was smiling. "They came" she said. Angel and Doyle looked at each other than at Cordelia. Both of them confused. "What came" Doyle asked. Cordelia opened the box and handed one card to Angel and then Doyle. "Our business cards. What do you think" she asked. Angel just continued to look at her. "Is this why you screamed" Angel asked holding up the card. Cordelia smiled. "Yes isn't it so exciting" she asked. Angel shook his head. "You scared me. I thought something happened" Angel said. Cordelia put the box on the table by the door and walked up to Angel and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I was just excited" Cordelia said kissing Angel. He smiled at her and kissed her back. "Your forgiven" Angel said. Cordelia let go of Angel. "So what do you guys think" she asked smiling. Angel finally looked at the card. It said "Angel investigations we help the helpless" and then it had their number. He didn't know what the thing in the middle was. "It's nice. I really like the bird to" Doyle said. Cordelia's smile dropped. "It's not a bird" she said looking upset. Angel seeing her upset. "Yea it's obviously not a bird. It's obviously a butterfly" Angel said smiling at Cordelia proud of himself that he figured out what it was. Cordelia just glared at him. "It's not a butterfly either. It's an angel. You two could be such idiots sometimes" Cordelia said taking the cards from them. Just then Doyle doubled over in pain. Angel ran over and grabbed him before he hit the floor. "Someone's going to try to steal the sister's book of shadows" Doyle said as he came out of the vision.
Andy came home on his lunch break. He was going to make his lunch and check the house. When he got up to the front door he tried to unlock the door but found that it was already unlocked. He had left early so someone must have forgotten to lock the door after they left. They had to be more careful. He walked into the house and straight into the kitchen. He was going to make his lunch first than he was going to search the house and make sure everything was OK. Andy heard a commotion going on in the front room of the house. "Prue" Andy called walking out of the kitchen. When he walked out and into the dining room he saw the mailman trying to steal the book from the house. Andy took out his gun. "Freeze" he shouted. The mailman stopped and looked at Andy. Andy looked at the mailman and didn't recognize him. He wasn't their regular mailman. "Who the hell are you" Andy shouted as he walked over to fake mailman.
"I'm you" the mailman said as he smiled and transformed into Andy. Andy looked at the man confused. The man had just changed into a copy of him right in front of his eyes. Andy looked the shapeshifter up and down surprised. He looked just like him. "What the hell" Andy said surprised. Before Andy could react the shapeshifter hit him across the face with the book and real Andy fell to the floor unconscious. The shapeshifter put down the book and picked up Andy's gun. He held it to Andy's head and was about to pull the trigger. "You're not worth it" the shapeshifter said and threw the gun in the other room. The shapeshifter dragged Andy's unconscious body over to the closet. He opened the door and threw Andy's unconscious body in there. He took Andy's handcuffs off him and handcuffed his hands behind his back. Then the shapeshifter made tape appear and taped Andy's mouth and his legs together. The shapeshifter closed the closet door and went back to the book.
The shapeshifter grabbed the book and tried to take it out of the house again. He looked behind him and saw Prue walking up the stairs. She didn't look up at the door and instead looked at her keys. The shapeshifter closed the door and walked to the stairs. He opened the book and pretended to be looking for something in it when Prue walked in the house. She looked up and saw Andy standing by the stairs looking in the book of shadows. "Andy what are you doing here? I thought you were working" she asked. The shapeshifter jumped and laughed. "Oh I didn't hear you come in" the shapeshifter said. "Shouldn't you be at work" Prue asked again. "Yea but I was worried about you because of the dog attack so I thought I'd come home and see if I can find anything on demon dogs" the shapeshifter said. Prue smiled at him. "That's really sweet but we already looked in there and there was nothing. Angel's looking now and he'll let us know if he finds anything" she said.
"Yea I couldn't find anything" the shapeshifter said closing the book and putting it on the table in the middle of the room. He smiled at Prue. Prue dropped her stuff off at the table by the door. Prue walked up and wrapped her arms around the shapeshifter. "I can't wait for the game tomorrow night" she said. The shapeshifter looked confused. "Excuse me" he said. Prue let go of the shapeshifter and looked up at him confused. "The warriors game" she said. "Oh right I forgot. Sorry I've been stressed a lot lately" the shapeshifter said. Prue smiled at him and nodded her head. "Oh and you'll never believe who popped back into my life after twenty years. Victor my dad" she said. The shapeshifter nodded his head. "Your dad" he said. "Yea he wants to have dinner and I would really rather avoid that to bad the games not tonight" Prue said. "Prue Andy good you guys are here" Angel said coming in from the kitchen. In the day time he had to use the sewers and he entered through the basement.
"Doyle had a vision that someone is going to try to steal the book" Angel said. "What" Prue asked just as there was a knock on the door. Cynda opened the door and stopped when she saw Prue Angel and Andy standing there. "Oh hi Cynda" Prue said. "Hey oh is everything OK" Cynda asked. "Yea thanks" Prue said. "Bye" Cynda said waving at the three of them. "Nice party last night" Prue said as Cynda closed the door. The shapeshifter smiled at Prue. "Guess I'll get going to. Have to get back to work" the shapeshifter said smiling at Prue. He looked at the door annoyed. Prue kissed him. The shapeshifter was caught off guard but kissed her back to keep up appearances. "I'll see you later" Prue said. "Yea" the shapeshifter said and left. Prue turned to Angel. "What do you mean someone is going to try to steal the book" she asked. "Doyle had a vision about the mailman trying to steal the book" Angel said.
Prue walked over to the table and grabbed the book off it. Her and Angel were going to bring it back up to the attic when they heard a noise come from the closet. "Stay behind me" Angel said as he slowly walked to the closet. Prue walked with him. "This one we do together" she said. Angel nodded. When Angel opened the door he lifted his sword. He stopped himself from bringing it down because he was shocked by what he saw. Prue gasped. On the floor of the closet Andy was struggling to free himself. Angel leaned down and took the tape off of Andy's mouth. "Who are you" Angel asked pointing his sword at him. "It's me Andy" Andy said. "Andy just left so who the hell are you" Angel asked. "I'm Andy. That thing you were talking to transformed into me and knocked me out and put me in the closet because I caught him trying to steal the book. You got to believe me. I'm really Andy" Andy said. He turned to Prue.
"Please Prue remember when we were 17 and we took your Grams car to go to a party and you crashed it into a pole and she thought it was stolen and we never told anyone. When we were 16 we stole the answers to the science midterm because we sucked at science and we needed to pass or we would be held back" Andy said. Prue looked at him shocked. "How do you know all that" Prue asked. "I know all that because I'm Andy the same Andy you grew up with the same Andy who lost the ring when I proposed to you so I had to get a replacement the same Andy who loves you with all my heart" Andy pleaded with Prue. Prue knew this was Andy. Her gut told her and she had to follow her gut. "It's him Angel. Let him go" Prue said. "Are you sure" Angel asked. Prue nodded her head. "Yea I know it is" she said. Angel freed Andy's legs. Andy stood up. "The keys are in my pocket" Andy said. Prue reached in Andy's pocket and got out the keys and unlocked the handcuffs.
Andy rubbed his wrists and then hugged Prue. "Thank you for believing me" he said. Prue nodded. "Guys if your actually Andy that means we just let a demon walk out of this house. Possibly the same demon that was the dog" Angel said. Prue nodded in agreement. "Let's see if we can find the demon in the book. Oh but we should probably do it upstairs so nobody interruptes us" Prue said as she started walking upstairs Andy and Angel following behind. When they got up to the attic they saw that the door had been kicked in. "What the hell" Prue said. The three of them looked at the door that was kicked in. They knew they were going to have to find this demon before he was successful in stealing the book otherwise they were all screwed.
