Angel was sitting at the table in the dining room explaining what happened to Andy. "So Doyle had a vision of the four of us getting attacked by those dogs" Andy said. Angel nodded his head. "Yea when I came in the house they were standing by the door waiting for you guys" Angel said. "Well then why didn't they kill us" Andy asked. Angel looked at him confused. "What do you mean" Angel asked. "I mean they attacked you and were able to stop you they could have just killed us right there" Andy said. Both Andy and Angel looked at each other as Prue walked in the room. "I just called Cordelia and Doyle. They're on their way" she said. She saw Angel flinch as he moved. "Are you sure your OK" Prue asked. "Yea I'll be fine. They just overpowered me" Angel said. "Yea well next time you will have me Piper and Phoebe to help you fight them" Prue said. "We couldn't find anything bad on him Prue. If he's working with demons he covered his tracks well" Angel said. Prue nodded. "Thanks for checking" she said.

Prue took Andy's hand and they walked into the room where Piper and Phoebe were with Victor. Prue and Andy heard the three of them laughing. "What is so funny" Prue asked as she took a seat in the chair and Andy sat on the armrest. "Do you remember the day this was taken" Piper asked Prue walking up to her with a photo in hand. Piper handed Prue the photo. "Yea family picnic it rained" Prue said looking at the photo. Andy looked at it to. "What happened that day? You never told me the story" Andy said. "Their mother packed us all up and she brought us home and we had the picnic right here in the living room" Victor said as Piper took a seat on the couch. "Do you remember that Prue" Victor asked. "Barley" Prue said glaring at Victor. "Prue" Phoebe pleaded with her sister. She wished Prue would just give him a chance. Victor looked at another photo. "This one was at one of your piano recitals. Not a very good shot. My fault" Victor said walking over to Prue and Piper smiled at him.

"I had to take the pictures that day. Your mother was to busy holding her breath. If you look closely you see there that's her" Victor said handing Prue the photo. Prue took it and looked at it. "I never noticed that before" Prue said. Andy looked at the photo. "You were a cute kid" Andy said. Prue blushed and turned away. Victor smiled. "She was wasn't she" he said. Victor grabbed another photo and Prue put down the photo she was holding. "This one used to be a 5x7 when I was still in it" Victor said showing everyone the photo which had him cut out of it. Piper awkwardly laughed. "I think Grams cut you out" Phoebe said. "There's a bunch of other stuff in the attic. Grams left us so many things" Piper said. "That's not all she left us" Phoebe said. "Phoebe let's not go there" Prue said. "What it's not like he doesn't already know and I'm sorry but it's kind of a relief to talk to someone about it" Phoebe said.

"Does anyone want coffee" Piper asked to try to ease the tension in the room. " I mean one day I am a member of the Y generation with average hair and a thing for caffeinated beverages and the next I am a witch" Phoebe said. Piper rolled her eyes and then turned to Victor. "Dad do you take cream or sugar with that" Piper asked getting up from the couch. "I just read from the book and then wham I am Tabitha" Phoebe said. Prue just stared at Phoebe. She couldn't believe she was telling him all this. "The only thing is I got stuck with the power to see the future. How uncool is that" Phoebe said. "Well from what your mother always said it was actually considered one of the more desirable powers" Victor said. "Unless you see things you don't desire" Phoebe said. Victor sat there and thought about that. "So Victor how long have you known about them" Andy asked. "I didn't. I knew there was a possibility. That's why I came back to find out it must have happened when your grandmother died" Victor said.

"Yep I just read an incantation from the book and" Phoebe started but was interrupted by Prue. "Phoebe" she said. "The book of shadows. Not exactly summer reading. Is it still up in the attic? You know I haven't seen it in years. Mind if I have a look" Victor said. Prue Piper Phoebe and Andy all looked at each other. "Now why would you want to look at the book" a voice said from behind them. Everyone looked and saw Angel leaning against the door frame. Just then the doorbell rang. "I'll get it" Andy said. He opened the door and Cordelia and Doyle were standing outside. "Cordelia Doyle come in" Andy said letting them in. "Angel oh god what happened to you" Cordelia asked but Angel didn't answer. "Why do you want the book" Angel asked again this time a lot more intensely. "Who are you" Victor asked Angel. "Someone who wants to know why you want their book" Angel said. "What exactly are you accusing me of" Victor asked. "Figure it out" Angel said.

"Angel stop" Phoebe said. "No answer his question" Prue said. "Does anyone want to let us know what we just walked into" Doyle asked. "Well I think we might have found who's been trying to steal their book" Angel said glaring at Victor. He really didn't like this man. "What do you want to steal our powers" Prue asked. "Come on Prue. Take it easy" Phoebe said. "Are you kidding me" Prue asked her. "Am I the only one who sees what's going on here" Prue yelled. "Couldn't we all just take a deep breath" Piper started to say but she was interrupted by Prue. "Think about it Piper. He whines and dines us and now he's back in a house he hasn't stepped foot in in twenty years and the first thing he wants to know is where's the book of shadows" Prue said looking at Phoebe. "Your just looking for something to blame him for" Phoebe said. "Tell them why you're here. They're your daughters after all" Angel said. "Angel maybe we should let them deal with this and we should go home" Cordelia said.

"No I think we should stay and make sure the book doesn't fall into the wrong hands" Angel said. "For the first time in your life Victor tell us the truth" Prue said. "Alright fine. Your right. I am after the book. That's exactly the reason why I came back" Victor said. "Dad" Phoebe said heartbroken he lied to her. "Not for the reasons you would like to believe" Victor said as he stepped closer to Prue. "That would make it easy for you Prue wouldn't it? If I were evil. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you I'm not. I'm here to protect you and if you really loved Prue you would be doing the same thing Andy" Victor said looking over at Andy. "Why is that" Andy asked starting to get annoyed. "So that you could protect them" Victor said. "Protect us from what" Piper asked. "From yourselves. That's why I want that damn book. It's where the power of three started and it's where it must end" Victor said. "It's a part of us. It's a part of who we are" Phoebe said.

"That's what your mother believed to before they killed her" Victor said. "What are you saying" Piper asked. "You have no idea what kind of evil is out there" Victor said. "Actually I think they do" Doyle said. "Yea were looking at him right now" Prue said. "Listen to me Prue. That book is a magnet for evil. As long as you have it as long as you use it your in danger all of you. Andy that's why if you truly love Prue you would try to take the book and get rid of it" Victor said looking at Andy. "I do love Prue with everything I have and would our lives be easier if she wasn't a witch. Definitely but you know what I'm not going to stand in her way of her destiny. It's because I love her so much that I'm not forcing her to change who she is. I will stand by her side whether she's a witch or not because I love her so much" Andy said. Prue walked up to Victor. "You are unbelievable. After all these years of being an absentee dad then you walk back into our lives and try to tell us how to live" Prue said.

"Their witches. That's who they are and you can't change that about them no matter how hard you try" Angel said. "I never wanted you to have those powers in the first place. I battled with your grandmother after your mother died. She wanted you to find out you were witches when you grew up. I didn't. I fought for you. Hard but your grandmother was to strong" Victor said. "Wait your blaming grams for why you disappeared. She loved us she raised us" Piper said. "What'd she do put a spell on you" Prue asked. "Believe me nothing short of that would kept me away. You have to believe me all I want is what's best for you" Victor said as he walked away from his girls. "I think they can decide what is best for them" Cordelia said. Victor turned and looked at her. "Not if they decide to still be witches" Victor said. He turned and looked at Phoebe. "Phoebe you believe me don't you" Victor asked his youngest daughter. Phoebe didn't know if she should believe him or not.

"They don't need you here trying to control their lives" Doyle said. "Doyle's right. We've done fine without you" Prue said. "Prue you can't fight this. I couldn't" Victor said. "I'm not you" Prue said. "Are you sure? Are you sure you can protect your sisters forever" Victor asked. "They have us protecting them to" Angel said. "Oh yeah because that went so well before. Weren't you on the floor bleeding because a bunch of birds beat you up" Victor said. Angel walked forward a little bit but Cordelia stopped him. "He's not worth it" Cordelia said. Angel nodded and went back to his place leaning against the door frame. "We all protect each other" Phoebe said. "Then you'll all die together" Victor said. "No one can hurt us as bad as you" Prue said. Victor looked away. Prue squinted her eyes and sent her father flying across the room. He hit a door frame and fell to the floor. Everyone looked at Prue. Victor stood up. He sighed. "If you wanted me to leave all you had to do was ask" Victor said as he left.

"Why did you have to do that" Phoebe asked as she walked past Prue. "Did you have to throw him so hard" Piper asked. "Piper" Prue said. "We could have just talked about it like normal people" Piper said. "We're not normal" Prue said. Piper rolled her eyes and walked away. Prue walked past Phoebe and out of the room. Cordelia turned to Andy. "We're just going to leave" she said. Andy nodded and followed Prue upstairs. Cordelia and Doyle helped Angel out to his car and they drove home. They all found out who was after the book and they were going to make sure he never got his hands on it.
