As the sun's rays slowly began to illuminate Mount Coronet, Luna and Raichu were wide awake preparing breakfast for them and the twins. Luna was chopping up the fruit they had bought yesterday in town as well as poffin for her friends as well as honey bun for her while the Raichu ran to the nearest river to fill their water bottles. It wasn't long until the twin woke up as well and joined Luna and Raichu. - I hope you also decided to get up with sleepy heads. - Raichu spoke to them, the twins stretched and tried to shake the sleepiness from their eyes with their paws. Luna had learned to like these quiet mornings. Sometimes it would happen that she would get up early with Raichu like today, and she would enjoy the quite morning while the night pokemons were going to their shelters and the day pokemons were just starting to get up. During such mornings, Luna could think in peace, and at the same time enjoy the peace, until the twins woke up.
As they were finishing breakfast, Luna felt someone approach their camp at high speed.,, Raichu, Sunny, Star, we have company." Luna informed them with a look in the direction she expected someone to come from. About a minute after as Luna informed her friends they noticed three lucarios slowly approaching the camp. Out of the three lucarios Luna recognized Slash and the female lucario from yesterday while she didn't recognize the third. As they approached Raichu was the first to address them. - Good morning. I have to admit that we weren't expecting you this early.- Raichu said in a slightly joking voice. The unknown lucario then replied. -Good morning to you too. We wanted to update you on your ranking Luna, as well as check on a few things. -The unknown lucario's words completely caught the attention of Luna and her friends. Luna stepped right in front of him and waited for him to continue. -We think it's best that you start training with our riolus, so that she can learn the basics, and from there she will coming out of you as your abilities develop.- Lucario explained, which worried Luna a bit, because she knew that if she lost control she could hurt Rio, Luke and their friends. Raichu noticed Luna's tension and asked the lucario. - What kind of basics. -
-Firstly, Luna's aura is unstable and wild. She must first learn to control it and carefully manipulate it, otherwise if she were to start using it right away, she would only harm herself as well as others around her. She should also learn to hide her aura as well as read others.- Lucario explained. When Luna heard his words, she realized that he was in fact right. I assume you already know Slash and Zoe. - Luna nodded and waved at Slash and Zoe, then looked back at Kira. - We came to check your speed, strength and reflexes.- Kira explained, while the others as well as Luna looked at him unsure of the reason why they would want to check it.
Then Slash stepped forward and began to address Luna in a cold tone. - In order to control the aura, you have to have a strong body that can handle that power and not use it all at once. Although I'm not sure how much it can be helped since you're human.- Slash said the last comment with venom in his voice, but Luna didn't react to his comment at all. On the other hand, the twins had a slight but suspicious smile on their faces, while Raichu ignored the insult directed at Luna and accepted the rest as a reasonable fact. ,,Ok, where should we go from there." Luna asked with a cheerful smile, wanting some action without rescues, team rockets or stopping a fight between Sunny and some wild pokemon. -Why don't we start with speed. We can make a race between one of you and Luna .- Sunny suggested cheerfully. Kira considered it a good idea and looked towards Slash. - Would you like to race Slash.- Kira asked him, to which he smiled arrogantly. - Why not, I'd like a warm-up.- Luna didn't pay attention to his arrogance this time either. After all, this race brings back memories of when she was in the woods of Violet City and ran through the forest every day racing against wild pokemon.
-You remember the canyon where you found Rio and Luka.- Kira asked her, to which she just nodded. -You'll be racing there and back. The total distance is about 12 miles. On the other hand Zoe and Kira were surprised by Luna's fast start ,as the loud voice twins cheered for Luna until they couldn't see her anymore. Raichu then turned to the shocked lucarios and said. -I think it should have been mentioned before, Luna is faster then any other human.-
About halfway to the canyon, Slash managed to catch up with Luna, who was running full of happiness and excitement. Slash couldn't believe that a human could keep up with him without getting tired. - I didn't expect that people could run this fast. - Slash commented, running side by side with Luna. "Not all people can, only a few." Luna replied to his comment, which seemed more logical to Slash. - When we ran that night to help Raichu, you didn't run nearly as fast. - Slash partially asked Luna. ,, It was night, I didn't know the terrain, so if I was going ahead of you, I probably would have tripped or bumped into something a few times, slowing us down." Luna explained as they approached the canyon. Slash thought about Luna's words for a second, seeing that there was nothing she could do at that time. And while he admitted that Luna was fast, he wasn't going to let one human beat him so he sped up in an attempt to overtake Luna, which failed. Every time he sped up Luna sped up with him, making them run side by side. - If you can run faster, then run faster. - Slash was annoyed by her little game, but Luna didn't care and just answered him. For the first time, Slash was somewhat pleased with Luna's response and motioned for her to follow him, climbing out of the canyon cliff. It was an easy task for Slash, But Luna was not used to climbing mountane terrain without her climbing equipment, but this time she had no choice. This surprised Luna very much but at the same time made her very angry. ,Looks like we have another mole. "I'm still waiting for an explanation, why the new parts for the diggers and drills haven't arrived." one of the members asked the professor who was typing something on his tablet. Slash wanted to take the opportunity to suddenly attack them but Luna stopped him quickly, by grabbing for his shoulder and getting his attention. -What the…- Luna put her index finger over her mouth, motioning for him to be quiet, as she took out her phone with her other hand and prepared to record the conversation. ,, The man in the white coat , his name is Professor Smith. He seems to be working undercover with Team Rocket, while spying on the situation so they don't get caught." Luna explained to him, adjusting the phone so that the faces she was recording could be clearly seen, especially Professor Smith's face. Slash wanted to ask her what she was doing, but she stopped him by saying, "Be quiet, I'm trying to record the evidence" and then pressed the record button.
A minute later, the Professor turned the tablet towards the team members and asked them. , Do you recognize this person?" Not a single member of the rocket team said anything, just shook their heads.,, "She's the reason why i can't bring you parts, or equipment, or most of the other materials." Professor Smith explained. One of the members asked him, "How can a teenage girl to cause this situation?" Professor Smith exhaled and started talking. "Two days ago, she caught a group of our members in this area. She expressed a strong suspicion that there was a hidden base nearby and the entire foothills of the mountain and they secured every road with a police guard. It would be too suspicious to transport a large amount of material and digests not related to my profession or make daily visits." The professor tried to explain in detail the reasons why he would not be able to do his job. "Wait, isn't that the same one girl that literally kicked our team out of several regions." The female member stated taking the tablet in her hands. ,, Yes it is she, Luna Blackwood. That little girl really knows how to be a thorn in the side." She commented angrily. This made Slash wonder how many times she got in the way for them to talk like that about her, as well as what she was doing with an unknown device. Luna seemed to be able to read Slash's thoughts and in the quietest whisper she could tell him, "I'll explain later." Slash decided to trust her for now but he didn't want to wait too long. He turned his attention back to the conversation between the people in canyon below him.
"You'd better be careful so she doesn't expose you. We'd also have to find a way to get those parts. Most of the machines have been damaged since the last incident." The woman said, explaining the seriousness of the situation. The professor just laughed and commented. "Don't worry about me, She is currently in an area far from the city and the laboratory, so she won't catch me. On the other hand, you have to be careful and don't underestimate her. She's stronger and smarter than she seems." The professor explained and then turned off the tablet. He then gestured for the others to follow him. Luna then stopped recording and put the phone back in her pocket, then Slash followed Team Rocket and the professor . They followed them to the other end of the gorge where the professor's truck was standing. - We have to attack them now while we have the chance.- Slash told her this time waiting for an answer, not wanting Luna to interrupt him anymore as he prepared to attack. Luna then said, , Let's wait for him to unload the old stuff and let the professor spin back to the lab. Then we can sort out the other three members." Luna explained, but Slash didn't like the plan of letting someone get away with it at all. But before he could say anything Luna cut him off. "And if the professor somehow manages to escape, we will not be able to catch him. Or what if he manages to call for help with the something in the truck." Slash didn't like the fact that Luna was somehow probably right and that she was reading him like a book. "Okay. But how do you know what I'm going to say." Luna told him. she looked into his eyes and just smiled. ,, Sometimes I had to ambush Team Rocket with other pokemons and people. So my actions were often questioned." Luna explained to him.
After ten minutes the rocket team unloaded everything from the truck and said goodbye to the professor who was heading back to the laboratory. - Perfect. Now is our chance. - Slash informed Luna. Luna saw that all the equipment was in one pile as they unloaded it and then an idea struck her. "Slash. Do you know any ranged attack?" Slash was caught off guard by the question, but he quickly realized that Luna had a plan. - Yes. Why.- He asked Luna. Luna was a little nervous knowing that he probably wouldn't like the plan. ,, All new the equipment they took out are machine parts. I assume they're trying to drill a way to the crystal in the crystal cave. If you have a strong enough attack to destroy them from this distance, we can run to your tribe and let the others know about this." As she had predicted, Slush didn't like what the moon suggested one bit. So much so that you could hear his growl. - Give me one good reason why I should listen to you on this. You don't make any sense for this.- Luna raised the creature's hands to her just in case he starts yelling to stop him. Slash hoped he wouldn't regret this.- Get ready to run back as fast as you can.- As soon as he said that Slash started gathering energy in his paws and created two beast auras.- Go!- He launched the beast directly. onto the pile and destroyed most things while only damaging some but that was Rocket that was knocked down by the explosion slowly started to get up until Luna and Slash started running at full speed to their friends to break the news.
Raichu was getting really worried about Luna, the Race had started almost an hour ago and they still hadn't returned. - I think something happened. They should have been back a long time ago.- Kira commented, looking at Raichu who hadn't stopped walking in circles out of concern for ten minutes. Raichu just nodded in agreement and continued walking in circles. They waited a few more minutes until Zoe said. - I can feel them, they are close.- Raichu breathed a sigh of relief knowing that Luna was safe and coming back quickly. But when they were in sight, Luna and Slash had an overly serious expression on their faces. Luna was the first to reach Elder Kira and immediately started talking. "We have to get to your tribe..." Luna began and then immediately went into the tent to get her bag with a small laptop and a few things, while Slash continued instead of her. - Team Rocket is in the canyon, and is currently looking for us, and it looks like they will bring reinforcements. - Slash finished his sentence when Luna came out of the tent. - Insist Slash. After Luna repacked her laptop, she and Elder Shin walked to a small clearing in the forest, near the tribe where the training with the riolus was supposed to take place. When they arrived, Elder Fang had already gathered the riolus and among them two familiar faces to Luna. - Luka, look, Luna has come.- Rio shouted from the group, drawing everyone's attention to her and Shina's arrival, while he and Luka ran to her to say hello. Luna dropped to her knees, allowing Luke and Rio to wrap their arms around her neck, while Luna returned with the big hug. This gesture pleasantly surprised Sin, while the others riolus were confused. After Luca and Rio let go of Luna, they turned to their friends and started yelling. - This is the human I told you about. Luna decided to answer one question for everyone and then start training. By the time she was done with the questions, they were practically calling out most of the things about her, where she came from, who her parents were, and basic things about herself that she only shared mostly with Maya and Matt.
This conversation with the young riolus significantly relaxed and calmed Luna, because after all Luna adores the children. Every time a pokemon asked her to look after their hatchlings, Luna would agree without hesitation, even if the eggs were involved. After they were done with the questions, Fang and Shin addressed them and announced that it was time for training, after which they all calmed down and began to listen carefully to the Elders. - Last time we learned to feel the auras around us as well as their presence, regardless of how weak their signal was. Luna thought to herself and then closed her eyes and tried to concentrate. Luna could sense the presence of a large number of pokemon making her situation quite difficult, but she wasn't ready to give up. She had to find a way to distinguish them from each other by something. Her concentration was interrupted by Rio's sudden comment. - It would be easier if they asked us to find Mew, than to find Elder Fang, when I don't even know how to distinguish our auras from the auras of other pokemons!-

Luna, Rio, and Luca began to read each other's auras and tried to find something to tell them apart. Although after nearly an hour, none of the three were even close to finding a solution to their little problem. Their attention was interrupted by another group of riolus who were also looking for Fang. In that group was a shiny female riolu from before as well as two more of her friends. - It's not even here. It's just Rio and Luka with the human.- Then she turned about to leave but Luna stopped her. ,, Hey wait a second please," This got shiny's attention who then stopped and looked at Luna with a questioning expression as her friends joined her. ,, We have an idea how to find a way to distinguish auras. We could are to join us instead of chasing every aura you sense hoping it's Elder Fang." Luna's idea was that if they had more auras to practice on, it would be easier for them. But Riolu took it as an insult and answered - Where did you get the idea that I don't know how to distinguish between auras? - She answered in a slightly angry and proud tone. But this mask couldn't fool Luna that easily, because Luna was reading her a book. The little riolu was a bit embarrassed for some reason to admit something she wasn't good at for some reason, which somehow seemed cute to Looney and brought a smile to her face. - Mio, stop pretending to be important. Luna asked them to which her friends immediately agreed as did Mio, and they all sat in a circle together and began to focus. It was almost noon and none of them could find a way to distinguish auras or any other way to find Elde Fang.
They slowly began to doubt that they would even be able to find Fang that day. When Luna opened her eyes she noticed that it was almost noon and that training would probably end soon. - I don't think we will be able to master this today. We should probably go back. - Said Flora, one of Mio's friends. As they all stood up and prepared to head back, Luna sensed an uneasy presence in the treetops not far from them and stood still without turning to face the source of the presence. Rio was the first to notice that Luna had stopped and had an uncertain expression on her face, which worried him. Immediately he and the others turned and looked at Luna waiting for an answer and she just whispered as softly as she could, pushing her hand into the trunk she still carried with her, "Run." The same second she said that, the treetops flew out vespiquen and started to attack Luke. Luckily Luna managed to get between them in time and stopped the attack with a climbing hook she took out of her bag while yelling, "Run back to Shin, now." All five riolus ran back obeying Luna. At that time, Luna tried to distract vespiquen until the others were at a safe distance.
Luna didn't wait in place but started running in the opposite direction from the one that Rio and the others had taken. "I don't understand why you attack us. We didn't provoke you with anything." Luna asked as she dodged the vespiquen attacks, but for some reason she didn't respond. Luckily she didn't have to wait long as she sensed another unpleasant presence, a slightly more human presence. As she dodged the vespiquen attacks the pokemon her trainer, one of the members of Team Rocket, appeared as well. 'What is it today? I usually run into one gang of Team Rocket within a few days, but now it's down to a few. How many are there on Mount Coronet anyway.' Luna asked herself as a member of Team Rocket watched her, "Well, well, what did you find vespiquen? A little girl far from home. Aren't you lost?" the man asked her arrogantly and jokingly at the same time. Luna didn't know what got on her nerves more, the constant buzzing and attacks of vespiquen or the constant arrogant comments from Team Rocket. "Why don't you go alone and answer a few questions. If you don't behave badly, maybe we'll let you go later, little one." That was the last straw for Luna.' Is he so blind as to mistake me for a small child or to think she will trust him for second. Luna managed to seamlessly kick one of the rocks directly into the Team Rocket member's bush which distracted him long enough for Luna to dodge the vespiquen's attack and directly proceed to hook the Team Rocket member's head knocking him unconscious. She then grabbed the ball pokemon with of his belt and at the last second put the vespique back in. Luna's hands were shaking from the heavy blows she had received even though she was protecting herself with her hook a on her bare hands.
