"Wow Bismuth, Alexis. The way you skate is like marvellous." Khadijah says as he and the others are skating with Alexis and Bismuth.
"I love your flow. I never seen a wolf skate before." Brandish says as Alexis is skating as a wolf.
"If you love this than watch this." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and begins skating with Pearl causing both to happily laugh before Bismuth skates over.
"See Alexis? You're amazing at this. You and Bismuth both. Now get this. When humans want to see each other again they exchange numbers. You should try it. I'm sure you'll have fun." Pearl says excitedly.
"But I'm already having fun." Alexis says as she smiles at Pearl.
"Oh! Here take this. Every human has at least one of these in their homes. Sometimes they even use it for vandalism. Good luck out there!" Pearl says as she pulls toilet paper out of her gem and hands it to Bismuth.
"Wait. Where are you going?" Bismuth asks as Pearl begins to skate away.
"Yeah. Aren't you gonna skate with us?" Alexis asks.
"You don't need me anymore. The humans already love you. I'm going to make some connections of my own!" Pearl says happily as she skates off.
"Hey uh Bismuth you and the others have fun. I'm gonna go take a break." Alexis says as she gestures to some tables.
"We could stop for a break Alexis if you're tired." Bismuth says.
"No, no, no. You go have fun. I'll catch up." Alexis says as Bismuth nods before Alexis skates away. As Alexis goes over to a table she notices Steven by himself and goes over.
"Hey Steven. Done having fun for a bit?" Alexis asks as she smiles.
"Alexis I think I've forgotten how to talk to humans." Steven says as he looks at Alexis.
"Can't be any worse than I've been doing. I'm still as awkward around humans as I've always been. Have you tried with an ice breaker?" Alexis asks.
"Maybe later..." Steven says sadly as Alexis looks at him.
"Steven what's wrong? You've always done amazing and made a friend our of almost everyone you met. You're like the King of Socializing." Alexis says.
"I don't feel like the King of anything right now." Steven says.
"What about Connie and Greg?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Greg's my dad. He doesn't count. And Connie it's fine when it's just us but I don't know how to talk to her when she's with her friends. You did fine making friends right Alexis?" Steven asks curiously as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"Oh yeah um. It was okay." Alexis says nervously.
"Okay? It was what you came for. Wasn't it?" Steven asks curiously.
"Well..." Alexis says as she looks over at Pearl.
"W-Wait Pearl? Alexis you're here for Pearl?" Steven asks loudly before Alexis covers his mouth.
"Steven please keep your voice down." Alexis says fearfully as she quickly pulls away from Steven seeing Pearl looking and waving before smiling and waving back as Pearl goes back to skating.
"Are you- trying to hide it from her?" Steven asks curiously.
"Steven I know how Pearl is about humans. I know she isn't the same about them as she used to be but after how she felt with your mom... I just don't know. Besides I just don't want to take her away from what she's got. She's got her own thing going on. She's much happier than she used to be. She's always looked out for me ever since we met. We've always been close but I don't want her to feel like her life isn't a priority when it comes to me. I want her to be happy and I wanted to get in a good place in my life before I said anything... If at all. I just don't want to lose her regardless. She means the world to me." Alexis says as she looks at Steven.
"Yeah I know what you mean. When Connie and I were fighting to save the universe things were sort of easier. We were fighting the same fight. Now it's like we're living different lives. I wonder if I'm even her best friend anymore." Steven says sadly.
"Steven how long have you felt this way?" Alexis asks.
"Uh a couple months." Steven says nervously before Alexis sighs.
"Listen Steven. Pearl brought me and Bismuth here to set us up with her friends but Connie came here to be with you. You've got nothing to mope about. Trust me on that." Alexis says as she smiles reassuringly.
"But her friends think I'm weird." Steven says sadly.
"You're kidding right Steven? Of course you're gonna be weird. You're a Crystal Gem! Connie knows that. She's always known that. That never stopped you from being friends before." Alexis says.
"You're right. Connie knows who I am. She's been my friend. She's still my friend!" Steven says proudly.
"So what do you want?" Alexis asks.
"To do friend stuff with Connie." Steven says proudly as he stands up.
"Atta boy. And what are you gonna do?" Alexis asks.
"Skate with Connie!" Steven shouts.
"Then go do it already!" Alexis says.
"I will. Thanks Alexis." Steven says as he smiles at Alexis.
"Anytime." Alexis says as she smiles.
"And for what it's worth I think you should go talk to Pearl." Steven says as he leaves before Alexis looks over at Pearl.
