CHAPTER 2 ENCOUTER WITH THE PAST AND FUTURE
Sarutobi Heirizen sits at his desk in the Hokage office fighting his eternal nemesis PAPERWORK! He places his hands on his lower back, and leans back and twists left and right. Cracking his back and groaning, and then stands up, "Finally, I can take a break. What in ALL THE ELEMENTAL NATIONS HAPPENED LAST NIGHT! First all the high level missions requiring our best Jonin, Special Jonin, and even some of our Anbu, Second all the damn paperwork from Danzo and the Civilian Council, and finally that wave of killing intent at 2 o'clock in the morning! JUST WHAT IN THE ROARING HELL WAS GOING ON LAST NIGHT?!" Sarutobi slumps and shakes his head then turns towards the door. "Well time to find Naruto, I'm a little worried that he was not here with me last night. Hopefully he remained home and safe. he takes a step away from his desk when he see's a seal appear on his door, which locks, all the privacy seals in his office activate, and the a blue seal appears in front of his desk with which a man in a dark blue cloak appears.
Heirizen falls back into his chair and sighs loudly" And here I thought me and Naruto could get some Ramen." The man growls and glares at Sarutobi "NOW YOU WORRY ABOUT YOUR CHARGE? AFTER HE WAS NEARLY MURDERED BY A MOB OF AT LEAST 200 PEOPLE, CIVILIANS AND SHINOBI ALIKE!" Sarutobi WHAT DO YOU MEAN IS NARUTO SAFE AND ALRIGHT?!WHAT HAPPENED?" The man in the cloak glares at Sarutobi and then says. "He is alive and recovering at his parents home, if he had not fallen through the gate he would have bled out and died! He was heavily injured cuts, scraps, punctures, slashes, broken bones, and stab wounds. Along with extreme physical, mental, and spiritual exhaustion he is lucky to be alive. "WHY DID YOU NOT BRING HIM HOME WHEN YOU RELIZED THAT THESE PEOPLE WOULD DO NOTHING BUT SPIT ON KUSHINA SAMA'S AND MINATO SAMA'S LAST WISH?!" Sarutobi sighs and slumps even more in his chair "Because I hoped they would honor Minato's last request. I did not think they would be so consumed by their hatred of THE NINE TAIL'S that they could do all that to a child." The cloaked man steps towards Sarutobi as killing intent comes off him in waves "They do not see him as a child or even as a Jinchuriki! They see him as nothing but the Kiyubi no Yoko itself! What has this village been teaching its people the last forty years!"
Sarutobi slumps more in his chair and looks at the ground. "Minato and Kushina had faith in the people to do right by their son. Although I will not denigh they also worried that they would fear and loathe their son. But I never thought it would get to this extreme." The cloaked man walks in front of Sarutobi's desk, and reaches into his cloak and pull's out a red crystal plates with the Uzumaki swirl covering it's entire surface area. And points it towards Heirizen. "While I have much to say to you child. My Lady wishes to discuss what has been happening to her great grandchild, and what you have been doing these past thirty years!" Sarutobi gulp's and pales "You can't possibly be serious! She's been."
The plats glows red and a beam of light comes off it like a spot light. In the center of the spot light stands a woman wearing a white kimono with gold and sapphire blue detailing, her crimson red hair long in the back with two bun's done on each side of the top of her head. She glares at Sarutobi with violet eye's filled with rage and fury. and says, "HEIRIZEN SARUTOBI , JUST WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH THE RESPONSIBILITES MY BROTHER-IN-LAW ENTRUSTED YOU WITH!" Sarutobi goes paler than fresh snow in Snow Country and swallows hard. " Mito Sama, How is this possible? You died in your bed after transferring the Kyubi into Kushina chan." The woman stepped forward's walking toward Heirizen her glare getting stronger and more frightening with each step. A crimson black aura radiating off her image like an unquenchable inferno. Heirizen slumps more and swallows, "Mito Sama, How are you here? You died in your bed after transferring the Kyubi to Kushina. And where buried with Hashirama Sama."
Mito's glare increases and she growls like and enraged animal. Then stands right in front of Sarutobi. "Have you forgotten the Hidden Uzumaki Trump Card, or where you not listening to the lecture me and my husband gave to you and Danzo about truly needing to understand all aspects of a blood line. Before you right off an enemy or ally." Heirizen sweats and says "The Blood Crystals, But I thought they only held a fragment of your personality and all of your knowledge regarding your specialty." Mito raises her fist and punches Sarutobi on top of the head, and shattering his chair. "And this is why I told Hashi Kun it would do no good to tell you about it. Because you'd forget the most important parts and think of only the aspects that could benefit teaching the next generation. Where are Tsunade and Jiriya? They are Naruto's God Parents, and should be here raising and protecting him!" Heirizen reaches into his desk and pulls out a black bottle with a red Nine-Tails on the bottle above the words in crimson outlined in gold, FOR EXTREME EMERGENCE'S ONLY! Heirizen breaks the seal and drinks directly from the bottle taking six huge gulps. "After Minato sealed the Kiyubi in Naruto, and his and Kushina's death's. Tsunade was at the hospital taking care of the injured, Jiriya and his Toad Summons where helping the Anbu and other Ninja's digging the inured out of the wreckage of the village. I was organizing all the efforts with my Summons also helping save the villager's. When things clamed down I called the council together, Tsunade had already left the village, And Jiriya was getting ready to leave to gather information with his spy network, Which this village could not survive without. At the council meeting the civilian's where demanding Naruro's death, Danzo was trying to get Control over Naruto, and the clans where trying to get more power like everyone else. The only way I could protect Naruto was to put him in the orphanage, and make him a ward of the village. I've tried contacting Tsunade and getting her to come back, but she always avoids my messenger's ninja and summons's alike. She is also avoiding Jiriya, but he gets far closer to her than anything else. These last four years I have been doing all I can to help Naruto and keep Danzo under control. While trying to find someone who can take Minato's place, but all those I would choose are either traitors to the village, dead, or just don't want the job. I am at my wits end, but I am trying to live up to the responsibilities of Hokage once again. But I'm getting old and can't do all I used to do." Heirizen sighs and takes another drink, "I just wish I could do more, but politics' are a noose and paperwork is the grim reaper!"
Mito glares and shakes her head, then sighs "Heirizen the council is there to ADVISE the Hokage, they hold no power in this village other than what they have over their own clan's. The Five Great Ninja Village's are Military Dictatorship's, The Hokage is the ultimate authority, His Word Is Law! Why are you letting them dictate your actions!" Sarutobi looks at Mito and blinks, 'What do you mean? The way the laws are written, clan head's and civilian council have more authority than that!" Mito shakes her head and punches him on top the head again. "Look at the original laws of this village. The Hokage can pass or annul any law or edict within their village, the only person who has more power than a Hokage in their village is their respective Daimiyo's. But that is only regarding certain things between their village's and their Daimiyo's territories." Heirizen looks at her and straightens up a little. "I'll have to review all this, and I promise Mito Sama. I will do everything I can to get things back on track." Mito bends forward and gives him a light hug. "Little Saru, I know this is hard, but for now you are all this village has." She looks at Guardian, who reaches into his cloak and pulls out a scroll with the Senju and Uzumaki clan symbols on its ends and closed with a blood seal. "Have Jiriya take this to Tsunade, and when they return bring them to the Namikazi Uzumaki compound. Because I have GREAT DEAL TO DISCUSE WITH THEM!" Heirizen swallows and thinks (Better them than me.) "I will Mito Sama. Is Naruto all right, I was getting ready to head to his apartment to take him out to eat." Mito growls just like the Kyubi and the dark aura comes back in such intensity that the entire Hokages office goes so dark even the door's and window's look like they are made out of onyx with veins of crimson flames running thru them. "He is healing, but because of his malnourishment and exhaustion from running from the people who broke down his door, attacked him, burned all his possessions, and tried to kill him while chasing him thru out Konoha. Had he not crashed into the front fate of the family compound he would have either bled out, or been murdered by the shinobi's and villager's who where chasing him. Guardian brought him inside and treated his injuries. But when his Uzumaki blood line awakens, We can only pray that he gets one of the calmer ones. Or Konoha will be torn asunder by the self fulfilling prophecy they have created. From what I've seen from his memories, there have only been three girls of his age who have shown him kindness, and three other adults beside you who have treated him like a person and not the Kyubi." Heirizen sighs and shakes his head. "Naruto is a kind and forgiving young man, but I fear that the stupidity of the ignorant will bring about the end of this village. But I also have a great deal of faith in Naruto's good nature." The image of Mito turns and starts walking away from Heirizen and turns her head, "We can only wait and see. Will Naruto's kind generous nature win out, or will his Uzumaki temper win. He is an Uzumaki thru and thru, and the only reason he has not shattered the seal is the kindness and love you and those few others have given him. Take care little Saru, and I hope you will be there when Naruto unlocks his bloodline and achieves his true potential." She turns her head and the projection fades out. Guardian looks at Sarutobi and says "Heirizen Sarutobi, the only reason I am not pounding you into the floor and letting you how many times an Uzumaki can beet someone a hairs breath from death, bring them back and do it again and again and again. Is because my grandson begged me not to. I am only a fragment of what I was there are many pieces of me lost because my crystal was shattered before being placed into my vessel. I can train him in the Uzumaki Maelstrom Style martial arts and the Uzumaki's Chaos Storm Style of Swordsmanship. And tell him some of Uzushio's past, and a little of my life, but most of what I was is lost. I will be lucky if I last until Naruto realizes his potential. Be glad Naruto see's you as a grandfather, that is all that keeps me from showing you where my daughter gets her temper." Guardian turns his back to Heirizen and a blue seal appears and Guardian vanishes. Heirizen looks out his window as the seals on his office deactivate. And sighs and looks at his bottle of sake. He takes a big gulp from it reseals it and puts it back into his desk. "Naruto, I pray to Kami that you'll still be the same kind boy you've always been. But if not I understand if what Mito told me is true I can only image what you've been thru every year on your birthday. I am going to have to have Ibikki go thru my Anbu and many of the ninja that have been tasked with your protection..." "Now where is that law scroll that Mito mentioned. If she's correct I've got a lot of trash to take out."
