CHAPTER 3
FAMILY REUNION AND TRUTHS
{October 16, 8:45A.M.}
Mito opens the door to the medical room, and see's Naruto still asleep in the bed that Guardian had placed him in the night before. She walks up beside the bed and looks at his face. (He's still pretty pale, with the Kiyubi sealed inside him he should have healed by now.) Mito thinks this as she strokes his messy hair away from his eyes. "My Great Grandson, I am sorry that you've been through so much already in your short life. And I am sorry, but our families chakra level's combined with your burden means that we are going to have to take your training to almost the level of the progenerators of our clan. If only your mother had not died that night. Then your training would already be on course." Mito sits on the side of the bed, and strokes Naruto's hair. Guardian comes in the door with a tray that holds a bowl of miso, a bowl of oatmeal, a glass of orange juice, two slices of bread, and a apple sliced into rabbits.
Mito looks at the tray and smiles, "Guardian, I see some of your old self is still their. I just wish we could fully restore your personality." Guardian sets the tray on the rolling table and rolls it to the opposite side of the bed. And looks at Mito. "Mito Sama, I know that I am what remains of your son. But all my emotions are muted except for my daughter and grandson. Although he seems to see Sarutobi as his Grandfather, even thou that immature little runt has let the scum of this village walk all over my GRANDSON! WHEN HIS MOTHER AND FATHER RETURN THESE SCUM ARE GOING TO GET A RUDE AWAKENING!" Mito sigh's and nods, "I know how you feel, but Naruto does not want us to do any harm to this village. He wishes to follow in his father's, Great Grandfather's, and Great Uncle's footsteps. To be honest, I worry about his heart, his kindness is his greatest strength, but it can also be a great weakness." Mito looks at Guardian, then looks at Naruto and smiles. "Well, time to wake the little chick." Mito reaches to Naruto's shoulder and lightly shakes him. Naruto moan's and roll's on to his side, and mutter's "Ten more minutes Baa'chan." Mito's eye's narrow and she tilts her head. "I may be your Great Grandmother, and be older than this village. But after my death and core refresher I am in my early twenties! But I will allow you to call me that. But should anyone else copy you, you and them will learn, WHY THE UZUMAKI CLAN HAS BEEN A MATRIARCLE CLAN SINCE IT'S FOUNDING!"
Naruto shiver's and roll's on to his back and puts his arm over his eyes. Mito shakes him again while smiling and says "Little Naru kun, It's time to get up. We have quite alot to cover, and we also have to examine your injuries from last night." Naruto groan's and blinks his eyes. and looks to his right, "Who are you?" Mito looks at Naruto and laughs. "Little Naru kun, my name is Mito Uzumaki Senju. Wife to the first Hokage, Mother to your Grandfather, and due to the death of your mother I am once more the head of the Uzumaki Clan. But once you have come of age, and learned to control your chakra. You will take my place, and hopefully restore our homeland. Or at least release our clansman from the protection seal in Uzushio." Naruto blinks and gives Mito an odd look. "Uuuuum, miss, I think you might need to see a doctor. You are not that old." Mito laughs and smiles at Naruto. "Naru kun, The reason I don't look my age is because, this is a construct that holds my Chakra Core Crystal. It is an Uzumaki Chakra Art, and it rarely works on those who do not have our bloodline. Now let's get your breakfast eaten, and then check your wounds. After that we will start planning your training regiment. You really should have started training a year ago. Our clan's life force is very potent, and makes using gennin level jutsu's nearly impossible. So if you really want to fulfill your dream, we will have to get you caught up on your chakra control exercises."
Naruto roll's over and grunts, then rolls out of the bed. Then starts removing his pajamas. Mito looks at Naruto's bandages and scowl's at the still healing wounds. "Odd, these should have healed already." Naruto looks at Mito and says, "I know after the sixth kunai grazed my cheek my healing slowed down. I feel as if something is missing I am usually up and about long before now. But I'm feeling kinda run down." Mito's frown deepens and her hand starts to glow green. As she runs her hand over Naruto's body her scowl increasing and a dark aura starts to radiate off of her. "When Little Saru finds those bastards, he better be ready to give us time with them. But this might give us a chance to see which Uzumaki Bloodline you possess. Odd... How are you healing like this when your chakra is completely blocked." Naruto once again looks at Mito and asks, "My chakra's blocked? Why would that effect my healing?" Mito flinches and then says, "Thanks to your dumb $$ of a father you are the bearer of a great burden which increase your already greater than normal chakra reserves to insane levels for your age. At a mere four years of age you already possess a chakra level of high gennin low to mid chunnin. When you should not even have had your chakra unlocked yet." Naruto swallows and looks at Mito with a little fear in his voice asks, "What is this burden you speak of and does this have to do with how I can't get service at any store?" Mito squeezes and looks sad and nods, "Yes it does. Like me and your mother Kushina Uzumaki. You have been made in to the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tailed Fox that was torn from inside your mother on the night of your birth. That masked one eyed Uchiya killed Heirizen's wife all of the Anbu there. Then took possession of you, and threatened your life in exchange for your mother to take possession of the kiyuubi. When your father the Yondame Hokage Minato Namakazi, leaped at him with his Raisengon raised to strike him. That Uchiya phased thru Minato like a ghost and dropped you. Your father caught you and slide into the wall, with you clutched to his chest. He then grabbed your mother and disappeared into a black swirl similar to our clan's symbol." Naruto looked at then lowered his head. "So I am a demon like all of the villager's say." Mito hug's Naruto and cries a little, while stroking his hair. "No my little chick, You are not the Kiyuubi. You are the sealing scroll that holds the kunai. Not the kunai that's held in it."
Naruto looks at Mito in shock trembling. "I'm the son of the Yondame, why did he choose me to hold the Kiyuubi." Mito sighs and growls, "That DUMB $$, took his role as hokage way to seriously. But an Uzumaki is the only person who can hold the Kiyuubi. It is because of our extremely strong life force, which acts as a counter agent to the kiyuubi's corrosive chakra. But you can ask him in time, now that you've come home the special jutsu seals that your mom and dad created in case of their deaths. Are charging the need energy to help bring them and me back to full life. I am using a special construct as is Guardian in order to train you. They are created from special tree's grown here on the Uzumaki Namikaze grounds, and the Senju grounds as well. These tree's have an extremely high chakra content. It allows our Chakra Cores to recharge from the excess chakra that's radiated by the Forest of Konoha." Naruto hugs Mito tight still trembling. "So you are part of my family?" Mito squeezes Naruto into a tighter hug. "Yes, Yes I am. I am your Great Grandmother, Guardian is what remains of your Grandfather my youngest son. His core was half destroyed. All of his ninja skills and techniques are there, but his only emotions he has is his love for his daughter, your mother Kushina. And it would seem because your are her son the familial love of a grandfather is there as well. You help bring out of his humanity, and make him less of an automaton. And I thank you greatly for this, because I can see my son as he was when he found out he was going to be a father."
Naruto sniffles and wipes his eyes. Then looks at Mito and gives a blinding smile. "Alright Baa'chan, then I will have to work even harder to surpass all the previous Hokages. If most of them are my family, it means that I have a great deal to live up to and to surpass. So I am going to have to train even harder than anyone else in the village!" Mito smiles ate him the shivers, "Why go I feel like someone just walked over my grave, and why do I want to shatter any green bowel I see. At the edge of Konoha the Great Green Beast of Konoha's eyes glow with a great crimson fire, "SOMEONE HAS IGNIGHTED THEIR FLAMES OF YOUTH! I MUST FIND THEM AND HELP THEM WITH THEIR TRAINING!"
