The next morning Angel was sitting in his office looking for anything he could find on this demon. Andy came off the elevator ready for work. "Morning" he said. "Morning" Angel said. He looked up at Andy and saw the red spot on his forehead. "How are you feeling" Angel asked. "I'm feeling fine considering I almost got a hole burned in my head" he said getting some coffee from the coffee machine. "Have you found anything on this demon" Andy asked. Angel shook his head. "Nothing. It's like this demon doesn't exist" he said. Just then Cordelia came off the elevator. She walked over to Angel and gave him a quick kiss. "Morning" Cordelia said. "Morning. How are you feeling" Angel asked. "Well I'm stressed that we still don't have everything done for our wedding. Plus the auditions have dried up with has me worried and there's a demon out there that is probably going to kill us all" Cordelia said. Both Angel and Andy looked at her strangely.
"I don't know why I just said that" Cordelia said. Just then Doyle walked in and saw Angel Cordelia and Andy standing there. He looked at Andy. "Before you go to work could you stop and get some beers? There's a game on tonight and once we find this demon and vanquish it's ass I'd like to relax and watch the game" Doyle asked. Andy took a sip of his coffee and looked at Doyle. "No I can't" he said. "Why not" Doyle asked. "I think you might have a drinking problem and I don't want to support that" Andy said. Everyone turned to him and looked at him strangely. "I don't know why I just said that" Andy said. Just then Andy got a text on his phone. "Does anyone know why I keep getting brochure's sent to my phone for a tropical getaway" Andy asked. Doyle nodded. "Me and Cordelia sent in your and Prue's name for the romantic getaway to hep you guys get back together" Doyle said. Cordelia glared at him. "That was supposed to be a secret" she said. "What is going on" Angel asked.
Just then the phone rang. Cordelia walked over and answered it. "Angel investigations. We help the helpless" she said into the phone. "Cordelia" Prue said. Cordelia looked at Andy. "Oh hey Prue do you want to talk to Andy" Cordelia asked. "No actually I called to see if anything weird has happened to you guys over there" Prue asked. "Weird how" Cordelia asked. "Oh I don't know like maybe you guys have been admitting things that normally you wouldn't" Prue said. "Actually now that you mention it we have been admitting things that we shouldn't be admitting" Cordelia said. "That would be my fault. I cast a truth spell and since you were all at the house when I cast it it's going to affect you guys too" Prue said. "You did what" Cordelia said into the phone. "I cast a truth spell. I have to know if that woman was telling the truth at the video store. Don't worry it only lasts 24 hours" Prue said. Cordelia sighed. "Thanks for letting me know. I'll tell everybody else" Cordelia said.
Cordelia hung up the phone. "I figured out what's going on" she said. "What's happening" Angel asked. "Yea why do we all keep telling the truth" Doyle asked. "Prue cast a truth spell" she said. "Why would she do that" Andy asked. "Well apparently she wants to find out if that woman from the video store is telling the truth about what she said about you" Cordelia said. "Why is it affecting all of us" Angel asked. "We were all in the house when she cast the spell so were all going to be affected by it. It only lasts 24 hours" Cordelia said. Andy looked at his watch. "I have to get going" he said putting down his cup. "Are you sure you should be going to work? Maybe we should stay away from people for the next 24 hours" Cordelia asked. Andy shook his head. "I have to go to work. We have to figure out who this demon is and me going into the station is probably the best way" Andy said. "Just be careful. If someone asks the wrong question everyone's secrets out" Angel said. Andy nodded. "I will be" he said.
Andy was sitting at his desk at the police station going through some papers. He couldn't find out anything on the case because he wasn't the lead investigator on the case. Kate was. He did consider using the truth spell to find out information but he worried that if she asked him anything he might reveal to much. Just then Phoebe walked up to him. "Phoebe what are you doing here" Andy asked. "Trying to get information on the case so maybe I can find that girl from my vision. So what do you know" Phoebe asked. Andy shook his head. "Nothing. I'm not the lead investigator on the case. Kate is" he said. Phoebe looked over at Kate at her desk. She smiled at Andy. "Thanks" she said walking over to Kate's desk. Andy got up and ran in front of her. "What are you doing" Andy asked. "I'm going to ask Kate for information on the case" Phoebe said walking around him. Andy grabbed her arm stopping her. "What if she asks you the wrong thing and you reveal you and your sisters are witches" Andy asked.
"I can work around that besides everyone forgets after 24 hours except us" Phoebe said pulling her arm out of Andy's grasp and walking over to Kate's desk. Andy followed. Kate looked up and saw Phoebe and Andy standing at her desk. "What's going" Kate started but Phoebe interrupted her. "I just have a few questions" Phoebe said pulling out a pad and pen from her purse. "About what" Kate asked. "The case you are working on right now" Phoebe said. "I can't divulge any information about the case. Trudeau should have told you that" Kate said looking at Andy. Before Andy could say anything Phoebe leaned in. "What do you know abut the guy they found murdered in the movie theatre parking lot the other night" Phoebe asked. "He's not the only victim. Last night they found a lab technician in town. Each of them had the same cauterized mark on their forehead and their eyes were drained of color. They were completely white" Kate answered truthfully. She looked around confused.
"Wait" Kate said. Phoebe was writing everything down. Kate looked at Andy. "Cause of death" Andy asked to try to stop Kate from asking any questions. "Unknown. Looks like he took a bullet to the head although there's no exit wound and no bullet" Kate answered. She was still confused while Phoebe wrote all of this down. "This is highly" Kate started but Phoebe interrupted her. "Any suspects" Phoebe asked. "None yet" Kate answered. "Any evidence that could lead to a suspect" Andy asked. "They found a button at the crime scene possibly from the suspects jacket made of an alloy forensics has never seen before. What is" Kate started to ask but Phoebe stopped her. "Do not ask that question" Phoebe said. She smiled at Kate. "I gotta go thanks" she said. Phoebe walked out of the station. Kate looked at Andy. "She's helping me investigate this case and I'm helping you" he said. Kate looked at him confused. "Trust me that's all you want to know" Andy said walking back over to his desk.
Andy picked up the phone and dialed Prue's office number knowing she would be at work right now. "Prue Halliwell" Prue said answering the phone. "Hey it's me" Andy said. "Andy hi" Prue said. "Phoebe stopped by and decided to question the people I work with about this mysterious demon" Andy said keeping his voice low. "Andy I'm sorry" Prue said. "That's fine. Kate's just really suspicious of me now" Andy said. "I didn't know she was going to do that" Prue said. "That's fine. She got some valuable information. I was thinking maybe we could meet up and talk about it and this truth spell you cast" Andy said really low again. "I don't know" Prue said. "Come on Prue. I want to see you" Andy said. Prue sighed into the phone. "OK when do you want to meet" Prue asked. "I'm about to go on my lunch break. I could drive over there now" Andy said. "Sounds great" Prue said. "Great. I'll see you soon" Andy said. "See you soon" Prue said hanging up. Andy got up and left the station.
Angel and Cordelia were sitting downstairs cuddling on the couch watching tv when Cordelia's commercial for laundry detergent came on. "Oh here it is. Don't you love it" Cordelia asked. "No" Angel said. Cordelia pushed herself out of his arms and looked at him. Angel knew what she was about to ask. "Please don't ask. Let's just leave it at I don't like the commercial" Angel said. Cordelia ignored him and asked anyway. "What's wrong with the commercial" she asked. "Well the product your selling doesn't actually work. When I used it, it turned most of my clothes pink" Angel answered. "Was I good in it at least" Cordelia asked. "No I thought you were wooden and it looked like you didn't know what you were doing" Angel answered before he could stop himself. Stupid spell. Just then Doyle came off the elevator. "I found her" he said. "Who" Cordelia asked. "The woman from Phoebe's vision. She works at Buckland's with Prue. Her name is Tonya Parker" Doyle said. "We'll talk about this later" Cordelia said to Angel.
Andy arrived at Buckland's and found Prue standing in the hallway by herself. He started to walk up to her. Just then her boss rounded the corner. "Hi Rex" Prue said. Rex walked over to her. "Hello Prue how are you" he asked. "I am a nervous wreck because I'm about to have a conversation with my fiancé and we are not really together right now because I'm a wi" Prue started but was interrupted when Andy walked up behind her. "Winner. A winner. She is a real catch this one. I'm a lucky man" Andy said wrapping his arms around her and smiling at Rex. Andy held out his hand. "I'm Andy Trudeau her fiancé" Andy said. Rex shook his hand. "Yea I've seen the picture of you Prue has on her desk" Rex said. "Let's go to my office" Prue said linking her arm through Andy's and walking him to her office. "OK that is one dangerous spell" Andy said to Prue. "Yea I know. So you found out some information on this guy" Prue said. "Yea I've got a list of all the victims. They all died the same way too" Andy said.
Just then Angel ran up to them. Prue and Andy looked at him confused. "Angel what are you doing here" Prue asked. "The woman from Phoebe's vision works here" Angel answered. "Are you sure" Prue asked. "Yea her name is" Angel started but was interrupted when Cordelia Doyle and Phoebe came running up to them. "That's her" Phoebe said pointing at the woman who was walking into the elevator. Prue walked to Phoebe and was shocked by who she saw. "Tonya" Prue said in disbelief as Phoebe ran toward the elevator. They all ran after her. "Wait hold the elevator" Phoebe called as the door closed. Phoebe kept pushing the button trying to get the elevator to come back. "Are you sure" Prue asked. "Yes and that's the truth" Phoebe said turning around and looking at Prue. "Alright Phoebe Cordelia and Doyle take the stairs" Angel said. "What about you guys" Cordelia asked. "We'll get security" Prue said. "OK" Doyle said as him Phoebe and Cordelia ran down the stairs.
Prue Andy and Angel went to get security. Outside Gavin pinned Tonya against a car. "Someone help me please" she screamed. Phoebe Cordelia and Doyle ran outside to the parking lot. Tonya struggled with Gavin as she continued to scream. Cordelia and Phoebe saw beer bottles on the floor and picked them up. They ran to Gavin with Doyle following behind. "Get off me" Tonya screamed as Gavin took her sunglasses off her. His third eye appeared and he started to burn a hole in her head. Cordelia ran up to him and hit him over the head with a bottle. He stopped burning the hole in her forehead and turned around. "Doyle get Tonya out of here" Cordelia said. Phoebe looked at him in surprise. "Oh my" she said. Doyle took Tonya and they ran towards he car. Phoebe hit Gavin with her bottle and he fell to the floor. Tonya and Doyle got in. Cordelia and Phoebe ran to the car and got in too. "Drive" Doyle ordered.
Gavin got up rubbing his head and he saw Tonya speed away in her car. He walked to where her car used to be. He heard footsteps running out of the building and hid. Prue Andy and two security guards ran outside. "Phoebe" Prue called as she saw the car leaving the parking lot. "She'll be fine. We should go back inside" Andy said. Prue nodded and they walked back inside with the security guards following. Gavin watched them walk back inside. Prue Halliwell and her cop husband were going to be a problem. Prue and Andy walked inside to Angel who was waiting for them. The security guards walked away from them. Angel looked around. "Where are they" he asked. "They got away" Prue said. "So they were able to save Tonya" Angel asked. Andy nodded his head. "Looks like it" he said. "What about the demon" Angel asked. Andy shrugged. "We didn't see him" he said. At least they were able to save the innocent. That was a start. Now all they had to do was find a way to vanquish this demon.
