Infinite Space Act 1: Origins

The stars in the sky have always called out to Yuri, for as long as he could remember. Having contacted a Launcher, Yuri has finally been started on his space journey. Is he terrified? Maybe a little; But that's a good thing... right? Will Yuri's adventure be smooth sailing? Or will it be wrought with dangers much greater than he is prepared for. Only time will tell.

28. Author's Afterword

So it has come to this...

220,000 words, and 26 chapters later, and the first part of Yuri's story is over.

With everything going on, it has taken me roughly 10 months to write in and around work, and even with many other things requiring my attention.

I finished writing the last chapter at 4 in the morning. I remember laying there, and I couldn't stop smiling. When I woke up Sunday morning, and due to the little sleep I had had, was dead tired...

But I soldiered on...

As Yuri must.

Yuri will return. And so will the other characters who have managed to worm their way into our hearts. While this story based on Act 1 of Infinite Space is almost the same as in the game, bar a few changes... the sequel to this story will be somewhat similar.

While it's storyline will follow that of the game, there will be changes made, more than can be found in this one.

To find out more, you must read on, and see for yourselves. While I can't wait to get stuck into writing the second part of Yuri's story, I'm not expecting for it to be published anytime soon.

So far, the estimated date will be around the end of next year (2023).
