Wondering around on the dark, cobblestone road. She marveled in awe at the castle- sauntering up to the big, wooden, dark brown door at the top of the hill. Okay, just breathe Twilight- you can do this she smiled, as she let out a little whinny of delight. Placing a hoof on the door, she knocked not once but three times; she waited eagerly until a small sound made her ears prick up.
She starred in awe as a tall, burly man answered the door, "Hello sir, I'm-" she started, giving a little bow.
"Ah, a pony- with wings and a unicorn horn, wait- well, ye be perfect for our Care of Magical Creatures class that I'd be teachin', now come along now- back to the forest with ya" and with that, he walked out the door- leaving her following close behind.
"While I'm deeply flattered at the opportunity of teaching others, that's not why I'm here" She looked him dead in the eye once they had reached their destination. The man looked at her, a bewildered and rather confused expression on his face. "Let me start over" the purple alicorn replied. "I'm Twilight, Twilight Sparkle- a.k.a. The Princess of Friendship- and I'm here because... well, I'm a big fan obviously, I also am quite curious about the magic that seems to consume this world... and..." she paused. "There's also this portal-" she sighed deeply.
"A portal ye say..." he stroked his beard, deep in thought. "Alright, follow me... back to the castle with ya then" He led the young princess back to the castle, the burly man by the name of Hagrid was walking rather hurriedly while she lightly trotted happily beside him.
