Booth and Brennan stood on the sidewalk in front of the alleyway, waiting for a forensic team to transport the body to the lab.

Moments later, a pair of vehicles turned the corner and drove down the street to where the two stood waiting for them.

Brennan turned around to make her way back into the alley, eager to show them where the body was as the first vehicle came to a stop by the curb.

Booth stayed in his spot, making sure their presence didn't attract too much attention. He was strangely eager to get this body to the lab without much fuss.

He'd been surveying the street when an oddly familiar car came cruising up the street towards him. It was the black Chevy Impala he'd seen earlier that day at the first crime scene.

What are they doing out here? He wondered to himself as he watched the car slow to a complete stop just a couple blocks away from where he was.

Dean and Sam exited their vehicle and stepped up onto the sidewalk when they suddenly stopped, noticing the FBI Agent standing outside the alleyway they'd been looking for.

"Crap..." Dean uttered, suddenly feeling like he was going to be sick at the sight of Agent Booth staring at them.

"Can I help you boys?" Booth inquired, approaching the brothers, his brow furrowed in confusion as to what they were doing here.

He pondered for a second it could be purely coincidental they just happened to be in this location.

He remembered they had mentioned being from out of state and perhaps had gotten lost in the city.

Sam had been the one to answer the agent's question, "We were looking for this diner, heard it had great pie."

"I guess we got a little turned around..." He lied, hoping the agent wouldn't pick up on it.

"You're looking for the Royal Diner, that's about four blocks up and two blocks left," Booth instructed, pointing them in the right direction.

"Oh... uh, thank you, Agent," Sam nodded, tugging on Dean's shirt sleeve to urge him back towards the car.

Booth watched the two men intently as they climbed into the driver and passenger seat of the Impala before speeding off down the street towards the diner.

He turned back towards the alleyway once the brothers' car was out of his sight, just in time to see the forensic team loading the body into their medical vehicle as Brennan followed behind them.

"Are we still on for lunch?" Brennan asked as she watched the body being loaded into the back of the medical van.

"I'm amazed you can even think about food after seeing that..." Booth commented, staring at Brennan bewildered.

"I'm starving, I had to skip breakfast this morning..." Brennan admitted with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Guess we'll grab a bite at the diner," Booth responded with a small smile, gesturing towards his SUV parked by the curb.

Sam and Dean sat at the diner counter, waiting for their food when the bell above the door jingled as it was opened.

Sam glanced over his shoulder to see who had entered the diner, suddenly recognizing the Agent and his forensic doctor as the door swung closed behind the pair.

He quickly turned back, hoping the Agent wouldn't notice he was staring at them.

Booth led Brennan over to a nearby table, where two of their colleagues were seated by the window.

"Angela, Hodgins," Booth nodded in greeting at the couple once he and Brennan had slid into the booth across the table.

"So, Hodgins, did you find anything of interest on the remains that were brought in?" Brennan asked in a slightly demanding tone.

"Well hello to you too, Dr Brennan..." Hodgins started, but was cut off when Angela nudged his shin with her foot underneath the table.

"Uh... I did notice some teeth marks on a couple of the ribs, I'm running a few tests to see what made them," Hodgins spoke again, glancing sideways at his partner.

"I also found some type of hair on the victim's clothing, I sent it to be tested as well," He added, turning his attention back to the couple across the table.

At the counter, Sam and Dean did their best to eavesdrop on the group's conversation without being too obvious.

Dean focused on the voice of the man sitting beside the petit brunette in the booth by the window, was he another forensic type like Dr Brennan? he wondered.

Sam sipped his cup of coffee while carefully listening to the group, they were talking about the body that had been discovered in the park.

"We gotta find a way into that lab, Sammy," Dean whispered to his brother, turning his attention back to the piece of apple pie in front of him.

"Dude, we'll never be able to break into a government lab," Sam replied, giving Dean a look.

"Not with that attitude, Sam," Dean grinned back at his brother.
