A kind of revenge
Harry was smirking. It was like a sign from Merlin. He could finally get revenge on Snape. Maybe he could rip all his clothes. Destroy all his potion bottles. Or maybe scare him. He could camouflage to the point he was almost invisible. You might be asking couldn't he just do all of this under his invisibility cloak. Well it had some disadvantages, he has grown over the summer and now when his under it his feet show and he wasn't able to move freely because of the fear it would slip off.
But now as a Chaos he could move freely. He heard they have great reflexes and they always landed on their feet. The best part is that he could do all of this stuff without Snape ever knowing it was him. Before he could finish his celebration he heard the door open and he panicked. "Harry are you here, mate? "Ron asked as he opened the door. He looked around and when he didn't see Harry he closed the door. "Weird I thought he'd be hear" He heard the muffled voice of Ron from the other side of the door followed by more muffled voices.
Harry breathed a sigh of relief when he realized he was "invisible". It seemed like him going camouflage automatically came when he was scared or felt like he was in any type of danger whatsoever. He should really research them later on when he had time. He focused his mind a little and he was back to being human. He always felt weird and dizzy after he transformed back. He quickly got out of his dorm and to the common room and quickly headed to the portrait before Hemione stopped him. "Harry? Where are you going, we have Charms homework remember?" Hermione said.
"Don't worry I'll do it, i just have to go do something really quickly" Harry said impatiently. "And where do you have to go may i ask?" Hermione asked suspiciously. "No where important. Not got to go!" Harry said and before Hermione could reply he opened the portrait hole and ran out. He ran to the nearest bathroom and walked in, thankfully there wasn't anyone else in there. He transformed pretty easily into a Chaos and checked the mirrors to see if he was "invisible". He wasn't. So he tried to feel another emotion other than excitement and it took a while but he finally turned "invisible".
He waited for a person to open the door before he could get out and lucky someone did and he quickly ran out of the door before it closed. He made his way to the dungeons which was pretty far from the Gryffindor common room but since Chaos's could run fast he got there in no time but was out of breath. He saw the door was slightly open and walked in, opening the door more and saw Snape grading papers. He seemed very intense and was glaring at the papers like they were a student who just broke a school rule.
It was almost beautiful how synchronized and hastily he marked the papers. From time to time he'd lick his finger slightly to grab the papers better. You could see his disgruntled face become more wrinkled as he read and marked each essay, each one being more horrible than the last. At one point he stopped and rubbed his eyes and sighed. That's when Harry snapped from his daze and realizes he had been staring at Snape for a good 5 minutes. That's when Snape noticed his door was opened and he got up to go close it. It was Harry's chance now so he ran to Snape's desk and scattered the papers everywhere and ripped them up and ran back to his spot far away from Snape's desk.
Snape had heard a noise of ripping paper and turned abruptly to see to see most of the papers were on the floor and ripped to shreds. He looked around to see if anyone else was with him and he saw no one. He came closer and the claw marks looked of those of a wild animal. This was strange. He took out his wand and cast a reparo spell on it and all the papers were all jumbled up and mixed with different and you could obviously still see the claw marks on them. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
He decided that it was to cruel to make the students rewrite the essays so he'd just give everyone an A (acceptable) and call it a day. He took the papers and with one flick they were all gone to no one knows where. He decided to go back to his chambers and take a quick shower so he could finish grading the third years papers. Today was not a good day for him. He got up from his chair and headed to his chambers unknowingly that an invisible animagus was following him. His chambers was right beside his dungeons but for the door it was a portrait of Salazar Slytherin.
Snape said the password to the portrait and it opened to reveal a normal looking living room. Harry was shocked. He expected the whole room to be covered either green or black decorations but the walls were painted dark blue and the furniture were all sorts of colours. It actually felt soothing. He watched as Snape rubbed his eyes slowly and headed to a room and closed the doors before Harry could get in. And now he was stuck. He didn't know what else to do until he saw Snape's sofa which was grey and looked really soft so he decided to invite himself on it.
He jumped on the sofa and made himself comfortable which was rather easy because it was very warm and soft. Without even noticing he began to purr and fell asleep. Thirty minutes later the sound of a door opening startled him and he woke up jumping. And clawed at the pillows he was sleeping on. Luckily Snape didn't see him do that and he just saw scratched pillows and walked to them slowly like he knew someone or something was there.
He kept on coming closer and closer and Harry started to shift backwards. He wasn't completely invisible maybe Snape could see his outline. Would that mean this would be the end? How many detentions would he get after this? How many points will be taken away? 50? 100? 150? The possibilities were endless and all he could do was pray.
