A/N: Forgot about this until now, but here you go Elira! One romance story with the Ryuguards XD

For eons, the Ryugu Palace has employed a select group of guardsmen and guardswomen, handpicked from the Atlantean Armed Forces for palace duty. Brave and skilled, these guards were truly the cream of the crop, perfect soldiers in every way...

"Imagine Dragons? What do you mean-"

Thunderous laughter erupted from the canteen, guards scattered around the seats hunched over from pained stomachs. All over the canteen, guards just couldn't stop laughing over the Princess' antics.

"ARGHHHHH!"

The ear-splitting scream echoed through the hall from the speakers, yet the troops could also hear the yell from the neighboring tower.

The Ryuguards began to chortle and banter amongst themselves, with cries of laughter interspersing their chats. Integrated voice mics, a part of their uniform, projected their speech into the livestream chat at the same time.

"Hahaha!"

"I'm sure that the Princess is fiiiine."

"Poor inner guards though, imagine how their ears fell."

"Whaddya talkin' about? They been blessed!"

"True that, they've definitely been blessed!"

"Cease your jabbering, you fools! The Princess has yet to finish!"

Finana's flailing on the stream was swinging back and forth erratically, peals of laughter ringing out as she yelled,

"No, no! Not like this! I hate you guuuuuys! No kiss for the homies! Good-BYE!"

The screen shifted into the sliding doors, as the princess continued wailing in despair at the baited joke.

"Phew, alright. We might not be getting a kiss from the Princess today, but at least we can still kiss the homies!"

"Hell yeah! Kiss for the homies!"

"Is it even real if you don't use tongue?"

"Duuuuude- wait no!"

And with that, the Ryuguards began to line up in two lines, going down the line to kiss each and every single one of the homies on the cheek.

What? What no, we are NOT making this a tongue kissing scene-

Yes, I am a homie! And yes, it WOULD be weird to add the tongue!

Real homies use tongue and don't feel weird? *Sigh*

I give up. Go ahead.

Anyway...

"Mwah! A kiss for all of the homies!"

With the kisses done, guards of all ranks and squads began to file out or continue eating. While a large number of troops went out on patrol to keep the monster populations down, other guards began or returned to their palace patrol routes. Though some were unable to join the rest of the guards in the canteen due to longer assignments, wartime arrangements, or kingdom patrols, all of them were certainly watching or listening throughout the stream.

Some were still on their rest shifts, and it was amongst these guards that another duo were finishing their sushi.

"Phew, I'm full."

"Shall we head back to the dorms?"

"Oh? And what are we doing in the dorms?"

"Smash of course."

"You mean-"

"Super Smash Bros?!"

"Hell yeah, homie!"

And so, another Ryuguard duo, joined in the homie power, proceeded to h-hold hands and rush back to the dorms to play video games, like any Ryuguard would.

But once they got back to the dorm...

"Oh? I thought we were just going to "Smash"?

"I mean, I'd certainly Super Smash your little Brother down there~"

A burst of laughter, followed by,

"My god that was awful, but I still love you."

"Of course, us homies always love each other~"

Oh, I'm sure that they were just playing video games-

"Wait a minute, this isn't Super Smash Bros, this is **** ***!"

SUCH DEVASTATION WAS NOT MY INTENTION
