Peter's phone was ringing incessantly. While Roger had placed a 'no phone' restriction during practice, all the students were begging for him to let Peter answer his phone. He tried to stand his ground but fifteen minutes of the star wars theme disrupting a ninety minute practice was the last straw.
"Peter, please just answer the phone," He sighed. Peter smiled gratefully and answered the phone.
"Oh, hey Dad," Peter smiled. This confused Roger because Peter lived with his aunt.
"Wha- right now? You do know I'm at decathlon practice right now, right?" Peter asked. Roger could hear a slight urgency in the tone coming from the other end of the phone.
"I'd have to ask Mr. Harrington first, but I'll let you know. Oh, right now? Okay," Peter sighed. "Mr. Harrington, my Dad wants to know if he can drop off my little sister. He got called into a last minute meeting and needs someone to watch her. She's super well behaved."
"I-I guess? As long as it doesn't distract the team," Roger shrugged.
"Thank you so much! He said it's fine. When will you be here? You're already here!"
"Petey!" A little voice yelled, pushing through the big doors.
"Hey, Mo! How are you, ya little mongoose?"
"I'm so good! I'm so glad you could watch me instead of Uncle Rhodey! I never get to see you!"
"Poor Rhodey. He just tries too hard I guess."
"Peter, is this your sister?" Roger asked, regaining the attention of the team.
"Hi, mister! What's your name?" Morgan asked.
"I'm Mr. Harrington. What's your name?"
"I'm Morgan S-"
"Parker!" Peter cut in. "Her name's Morgan S. Parker."
"What? No it's not silly," Morgan laughed.
"Alright! Let's practice!" Peter smiled anxiously, clapping his hands together.
"Shut it, Parker. We want to hear what her real name is!" Flash exclaimed.
"I'm Morgan H. Stark!"
"How do you know Peter?" Betty asked.
"Petey's my brother!"
"How is Peter your brother?" Abe asked.
"Well he got a, uhm, a internship with my daddy and then daddy said he was like a daddy to Petey too when he got all dusty and when he got undusty he was my brother and sometimes Auntie May will let him stay with us!"
"How'd he get an internship with Tony Stark?" Betty wondered.
"Well that's easy!" Morgan exclaimed. "It's cause of Spider-Man!"
"Mo! What the heck!" Peter shrieked. "Didn't Mom and Dad tell you that was a secret!"
"Oh, yeah," she frowned. "But these are your friends."
"But it's still not safe for them to know I'm Spider-Man," Peter explained.
"You're Spider-Man!" Flash blanched.
"Yeah, didn't you get that?"
"No, we just figured you made his tech or something," Abe shrugged. Roger sighed in the background realizing that after this revelation no more practicing would be accomplished.
"How about we do a Q&A type thing with Peter since practice is already derailed," Roger suggested. "Does that work for you, Peter?"
"Yeah, that sounds good to me."
"Alright, MJ, do you want to be in charge of who gets to ask the questions?"
"Wait, that's not fair! What if she just picks herself?" Flash accused.
"Bold of you to assume I didn't already know," MJ smirked.
"Wha- you knew?" Ned gasped.
"Yeah," she shrugged. "You and Peter aren't subtle about the 'internship' jabs and talking about Spider-Man tech."
"Petey! I need to go to the bathroom!" Morgan shouted over the bustle of noise filling the room.
"So sorry guys," Peter smiled. "I've got to go help Morgan, but maybe we can do a Q&A some other time? Besides, I'm sure MJ still has more plans for practice. Also, if any of this gets out, just remember that Iron Man is literally my adoptive father."
"Loser's right. Everyone take your seats!" MJ declared. Peter smiled at her graciously before sneaking out with his sister.
"Did I do a good job of helping you escape!"
"Yes, Mo. The best job! But you also got me into the mess so I don't know how much credit can be given."
"Look, Daddy told me that your friends knew your secret and you said that they were your friends."
"Mo, there's a difference between best friends and school friends. You know Ned and MJ because we're best friends and they hang out with us a lot. You didn't know anyone else there because we're just friends at school and not in public."
"Oh," Morgan sighed. "I didn't know. Sorry."
"It's okay, Mo. At least now you know never to do it again."
"Yeah! Can we go get ice cream?"
"Yeah, sure," Peter laughed. "We can go get ice cream. What flavor do you want?"
"Peanut Parker!" Morgan exclaimed.
"What," Peter asked, confused.
"That's what Daddy said your ice cream should be called when you tell people you're 'you-know-who'!"
"Wow, well we should tell Dad he needs to work on his naming skills because Peanut Parker is the saddest ice cream name I've ever heard."
"What about Peanut Butter Parker? It would be PBP just like you!"
"Better, but still not good," Peter laughed.
"I can prove it's good!" Morgan said, she dragged Peter over to a random customer in the ice cream shop.
"Mo, wait, we just talked about this!"
"Excuse me, sir. Do you think Peanut Butter Parker would be a good ice cream name for my brother Peter Parker's future ice cream flavor?" she asked.
"I am so sorry-" Peter began. He stopped abruptly when the man turned around, revealing himself as Steve Rogers. "Mr. Captain America sir!"
"I'm sorry, but did this young lady just say you're getting an ice cream flavor?" Steve asked.
"Of course he is, silly. He is a Stark after all!" Morgan exclaimed. Steve looked shocked.
"You're Tony's kids?"
"Umm, no?"
"Yeah! I'm Morgan and this is Peter!"
"Mo!"
"But Tony didn't have a son when I knew him. How does he have a high school aged kid?"
"That's cause Peter's adopted since he's Spider-Man!" Morgan grinned.
"Mo! Stop telling people!" Peter exclaimed.
"But he's an avenger?"
"That doesn't mean we have to tell him my identity!"
"Oh, sorry. Mr. Steve, will you please pretend you didn't hear that?"
"Uh, sure kid," Steve grimaced. "I'm just gonna go now."
"Please do," Peter sighed.
"Did I do bad?" Morgan asked, a frown etched upon her face.
"Well, let's just say you're not getting an ice cream anymore."
