'Sup everyone, time for another story! Please R&R. If you see something that needs to be fixed, please tell me. I hate stories that could be really good, but the grammar and spelling is just not there. Anyways, on to the story. Enjoy!
Link was a talented swordsman. Everyone knew it. Not just anyone could be chosen to wield the blade of evil's bane. And, not only that, but he was issued to single handedly protect the princess. But, despite all of these things, there was still room for improvement. So, Link set out to become even better at wielding any weapon. Luckily, he was friends with some of the most skilled warriors in Hyrule. The Champions.
He decided that he was going to talk to Mipha first, as he was way more comfortable talking to her than anyone else. He went to Zora's Domain first thing the next morning. He walked to the Throne Room and was greeted fondly by the guards. He saw the ever-intimidating King Dorephan. He went and kneeled on the platform in front of the king and received a hearty laugh
"Link, my boy! How have you been? It seems like an eternity has passed since you last visited." King Dorephan said, greeting the knight.
Link stood up sheepishly and replied "I've been pretty good, and, I'm sorry for not visiting, but the whole ' Hero of Legend' job has been taking up most of my time."
"No need to be sorry m'boy, duty calls" King Dorephan replied warmly "Now, I assume you came here to talk to Mipha, yes?" Link nodded at this. "Very well then, you may go wake her up, I assume you know where her chambers are?" Link, again, just nodded. " Well, off you go then. But, I must warn you, Mipha can be quite… grumpy when she's woken up."
Link smiled and walked away.
On his way through the palace, he admired the beauty that Zora's domain truly held. In his opinion, it was better than even Hyrule Castle, but he was a little biased, being raised there and all. Finally, he got to Mipha's room and knocked on the door. He got no answer. So, he knocked again. Once. Twice. Still no answer. So, he decided he would just go in unannounced.
He gently opened the door and walked in, only to find a heavily sleeping Mipha in a waterbed. He smirked. It was a very rare occurrence that he caught Mipha off-guard. But, now he had a perfect chance. He crept up quietly to the side of the bed. He counted down in his head.

"RAAAAAARRRRRR" He yelled at the top of his lungs. Mipha shot up, and saw the figure next to her bed through blurry eyes. Her first instinct was to defend herself. So she punched the figure in the nose, not knowing who it was. She then jumped out of bed, and on top of the offending person and started punching them mercilessly.
" OW! Mipha stop, AGGHH! Seriously calm dow- AAAGGGHHH! HOLY HYLIA MY BALLS!" He screamed, immediately curling into a fetal position. Only then was it that Mipha stopped punching to look down at the person below her. To her horror she saw the mangled face of her dearest friend (and crush)Link. She immediately burst into tears at the sight.
" Link! Oh my gods! I'm so sorry! Oh gods, you must hate me now and we'll never be friends again and we won't spend time together any more and-" Her rambling was smothered by the chest of the blue-eyed hero.
"It's ok Mipha, we are still friends, we'll still spend time together, and I could never, ever, hate you." Link said, looking down at the trembling Zora.
"Really?" Mipha asked, looking up at Link with watery eyes.
"Really." He responded, eyes kind. "Plus, I deserved it anyway, I did scare you out of bed." He said, smirking at the memory.
"Oh my! You're still hurt! Please lie down on the bed." She said, voice full of concern.
Link blushed a little bit, but did as he was told, as he didn't want to see what angry Mipha would do to him. Mipha immediately got to work. Her hands lit up with the signature blue glow, and soon, Link was back to full health, albeit, a little sore. It was only then that Mipha realized the suggestive position they were in, with Mipha straddling Link's hips to get a better look at his face. She blushed a beet red and rushed to get off of him.
Link pushed past the awkward moment by saying "Let me tell you the reason I came here, besides to spend time with you. I would like to ask if you would train me in the art of spear wielding?"
"Of course!" Mipha responded, filled with happiness, this means she gets to spend more time with Link doing one of her favorite hobbies; Spear training.
And that's all for today folks. Don't worry though, the next chapter will be the actual training, but I'm tired and need rest, but I wanted to post today. As well as the fact that I need to do a little more research on spears to give you guys a more accurate and thrilling story. Thanks!
