Hey guys. The internet is out here at my house, so I'm using my hotspot to post. Anyways, please R&R. Thanks! Please Enjoy.

Oh and, in response to UltimateCCC's comment: Yes. Yes she is.

Alright, now onto the story!

The first thing that Mipha decided they should do was get breakfast. After all, how are you supposed to train with an empty stomach? She decided that they would have a serving of Armored Carp, so that when they trained, they could be as rough as they'd like and they wouldn't get hurt that bad.

As soon as the requested meal was brought to them, they both dug in. Link had a long morning getting from his house in Hateno Village all the way to Zora's Domain. Mipha had exhausted herself by using her healing powers earlier that morning.

Once they finished eating, they went to the training grounds, deciding that it would be best to start practice immediately.

"Swords and spears are like night and day when it comes to combat" Mipha taught "Swords have a short reach, depending on the length, and are used for slashing. Spears on the other hand have longer reaches and are used mostly for stabbing, but can slash if needed."

Then, Mipha handed Link a Zora Spear from the armory.

"We'll start out with this spear, and if you like the combat type, we'll make you your own." Mipha said, smiling at Link.

"Ok, first things first, you need to know how to hold it. You want to be in a stance with your knees slightly bent, one foot in front of the other." Mipha expertly commanded. "Now hold the end of the spear with your right hand, and the middle with your left, this will give you the most power when you stab." Link nodded and got into a stance. Mipha inspected it closely and fixed errors when she saw them. When she was satisfied she spoke again.

"Your right hand needs to be positioned at your hip, and your left hand needs to be right above your plexus."(A/N: Right between your abs and pecs) Link nodded again and positioned his hands in the right places. "Now, you want to keep the tip of the spear raised to about eye-level, and center it between your eyes. This will allow you to guard yourself from enemy attacks" Mipha instructed "Now, I'll show you some basic thrusts. She proceeded to show him every move she could think of, and drilled him on it. Sometimes she had him do over 100 reps if he didn't pick up the skill fast enough. Finally, lunchtime came around and they took a break. Mipha was walking with grace, as per usual. Link, however, was staggering along behind her like a drunk. Sweat poured off him like a river, his clothes completely drenched. Passerbys saw them and chuckled at the two, finding the astounding difference humorous. They finally got to a place where they could sit down and eat. It was a beautiful place overlooking the Zora River, with a bench wide enough for the both of them to sit on it comfortably.

Mipha had managed to snatch some Staminoka Bass from the kitchen, and gave herself and Link a portion. After Link took a bite, he felt immediately refreshed, due to the stamina recovery properties of the fish. After about thirty minutes. Mipha decided they'd had a long enough break.

"Back to training" She said in a sing-song voice.

Link groaned and said "Sometimes I wonder if you enjoy torturing me" Mipha just giggled.

They returned to the training area, and Mipha showed Link some attacks that would be incredibly effective against enemies. They included spin attack, diagonal slash, and a shuttle strike. Finally, Mipha believed that Link was adequately trained and asked him to spar. He nodded, and they got into ready stances. Seemingly telepathically, they started the fight. Mipha and link charged each other at the same time. Link went on the offensive and attacked Mipha with a lunge stab. Mipha parried it powerfully with her trident. Link then went back in with a diagonal slash, using the momentum from the parry to do a three-sixty, but Mipha expected this, she taught him after all. As soon as he came down, she caught the spear in the prongs of her trident. She pushed the spear down with her body weight, either forcing link to let go, or, snap his wrists. Link chose the former. His spear clanged to the ground, and just like that it was over.

Link was a little frustrated with himself for being beaten so easily, but Mipha was easily the best spears-woman in all of Hyrule. The fact that he lasted more than fifteen seconds surprised him. Mipha approached Link and sat next to him.

"You did quite will for your first time in a real fight." She said, gauging his reaction, as she could easily see the self-deprecatory look on his face.

"No I didn't, there were a million other things I could have done and lasted longer in that fight. If I was protecting the Princess and a skilled spearsman attacked me, I would die and so would she!" Link spoke angrily. He needed to push himself harder damn it! He could not, no, would not let any harm befall the princess. Mipha saw that this was killing him from the inside out, so she decided to cheer him up.

"Come with me Link, I have something to show you." Mipha said, beckoning him with her finger.

Link stood and followed her, a little confused. He wondered what she could possibly want to show him after he failed so miserably in the training. Maybe she was showing him the way out. No, she's not. She couldn't. The very thought of it made his heart hurt and he didn't know why.

It took a while, but they finally stopped at the top of the East Resovoir. On the dock there was a bed and wine glasses.

She, however, walked past them, and straight to the edge of the pier. She sat with her legs dangling over the side. She patted the space next to her and Link sat down.

"The sunset is beautiful tonight," Mipha said. It was true, the vibrant array of oranges, purples, reds, and pinks, reflected of the water, making the place seem serene, perfect even.

"It is" Link agreed.

"Link, I've been meaning to tell you something."

"Hm?" It's now or never, Mipha thought, gathering all of her courage

" I… have harboured feelings for you these past few years, and I wanted to know if maybe we could…" Mipha trailed of looking down at her hands, which were folded in her lap.

"Date." Link finished for her. Mipha just silently nodded. Link was a little shocked. He'd had a crush on Mipha ever since they'd met. It had turned from a boyish crush into a mature love the past few never even thought that she might return his feelings. Mipha took his silence for rejection. (A/N: I know, I know, this line is in every single story you don't have to tell me I just had to though, for the sake of dramatic effect) She started to get up and Link quickly got up with her.

"I'm sorry I said anything, I should have just keep my mouth shut. Of course you don't love me, I-" She was silenced by Link's lips descending on her's. Link prided himself on a few things. His swordsmanship, his ability to brush of insults, and most importantly his kissing. He poured all of his love into the one kiss to try to make her understand that he did love her.

When they finally broke the kiss they were both gasping for breath.

"That was amazing"

"Agreed"

"Again?"

Link merely nodded, and there they were. Kissing on the edge of the dock with the sun setting behind them. It was their own little happily ever after.

Botta Bing Botta Boom. It's done folks. I really enjoyed writing this one, I do want to know though, did I make the training to specific? Also the spar scene, was it long enough? Please tell me if they are so that i can apply the knowledge to future stories. Thanks! And Goodnight.
