"You're not killing MY mother" Fin the gods damned 'moral pillar' screams at the only female from the other group.
Since we had returned to the manor Fin and… Nikola *snicker* had been fighting. The subdued effect having faded away and in its place was something distinctly Klaus. Eye twitching as the real Fin was defending a woman his clone had already condemned, 'looks like no original siblings have a good relationship with their mother'. Meanwhile Ester sat tied to a chair having woken up but still pretending to sleep with the head bowed forward.
"Fenrir died to save me from that bitch!" Nikola screamed at Our Fin. "I won't stand for the injustice of her still living".
All the others looked away at the name spoken by the Hybrid woman, as all my siblings and Ester looked on with curiosity at the mention of another person.
"Fenrir?" Fin muttered, clearly having reached a conclusion we were not all privy to.
"Our oldest brother, he was taken by our aunt as payment." At this Ester looked shocked and worried, "And when we finally got him back he stood between Me, Henrik and our mother" Nikola was screaming at this point "he saved me and our son… from his own mother"
At the last shout Reuben raced forward and embraced the woman as she broke down into sobs, quiet as the may have been.
"No… Just Nope. Nope… not happening. I will not accept this" Gods Becca had bad timing.
"First you want us to believe that not only is Nik a Girl" at this she pointed between the two mentioned originals, "Then you want us to believe that I'M a GUY, and our older sister was a BOY" her arms flail around in indignation.
"Finally you want us to accept that you are currently" here she pointed at my clone, "and said oldest brother was previously romantically involved with her, enough so that you call her 'my love' and they had a child… just No"
At this the copy of Fin and Elijah rubbed the back of their necks while glancing at each other. Me and my copy smirked, 'I guess I must be the smartest of my lot given nether Fin, Elijah or Nik seams to have added the clues laid out by the situation'. My clone slowly made his way over the Becca, speaking as he went.
"Nah, I'M no romantically involved…" hear Rebecca slumped clearly believing that would be it, but I knew better. "We all are" 'whelp there it is'.
Rebecca and Ester looked like they had been slapped in the face with a fish, Elijah and Nik looking at the other men with looks of shock, and Fin… well fin looked in disgust at his clone.
"Oh and while yes, Henrik is Fenrir's and Nikola's child biologically, we all look after him as our son"
"You're all disgusting, the other me had the right idea in trying to kill the pair of them, my only shock is the her husband would stand for such a thing" Ester shouted at them.
The outburst only seamed to confuse the other Originals, they each looked at one another. Before their Fin turned to our Elijah, clearly ignoring the presents of his other self. "Why would Father have an issue with our arrangement?" Elijah opened his mouth to answer when Fin's clone continued "after all he set it up."
That stopped everyone in their tracks, Esters mouth opened and she spluttered for a few seconds before regaining her composure "He did… Why would he?… What?" At this both me and Nik snickered at her lack of composure 'no one has rendered her this speechless in… well… ever'
"Why…" my clone smirks as he speaks "to keep the 5 gifts of our blood line pure. Though that didn't really work out when he learned of he wife's betrayal, but after Henrik was born that put his worries to rest."
"Gifts?" Nik enquired, 'obviously he would want to know the power these lot had, only then could he have any hope to exploit it'
"The Witch gifts they received upon their maturing, when they started learning magic", Nikola relied to her male counterpart. "Father was at first saddened when I never came into my power, but after I accidentally killed a village boy, we all knew the truth". At this the others looked at Ester in disgust.
"And what truth may that be?" Mother spat at her "That you're a monster they should have killed at birth?".
"That she was not his child by blood, that day he kicked Ester out and promised to never turn his back on us. Our gifts grew stronger as we pushed ourself to be better, all to protect our love" Ruben snapped at the woman.
"After several moons we thought we were safe enough, Our power grew stronger the more Nikola got used to the change" Fin's clone had a look of pure pride in his eyes as he looked at each of his siblings, they beamed back. 'Is it bad that I wish our Fin could care for us like that?'.
"But mother had other ideas" Elijah took over here, anger in his voice "Mother hoped to destroy our gifts, and cause father to hate us… hate Nikola, but it didn't work."
Here my clone chimed in "He's still the most loving parent you could ask for. And he dotes on Henrik"
"Well thats all well and good" Nik snapped, clearly done with them not answering the real question he had asked. "But what were your gifts?". I thought I heard Nikola mutter "were?" And snort in laughter, but it was to quiet to confirm this.
"Fen was a Battery, he generated more magic than anyone and could imbue it into everyday objects so they had a specific purpose" Fin's clone started "I on the other hand was a tracker, my sense of smell and eye sight stronger, it allowed me to follow even the most evasive of of pray, we never went hungry when it was my turn to hunt"
"I was an Empath, I could sense the moods of those around me. Made me perfect for diplomacy, I was slated to be the Village chief before it all went down." Elijah clone explained
"Well I was a Siphoner, I was born without the ability to generate my own magic but could take magic from other sources and use that magic for my own purposes, we at first though I had none, until I grabbed Ester one day and took some of her magic." My clone smirked, honestly the idea of not having my own magic made me shiver and even now I can feel the loss of my ability.
"I was gifted the power of Sight, as a mortal I could only sense when things were going to go good or bad, and I had the uncanny ability to tell you the weeks weather" Reuben muttered, as he started to stroke Nikola's hair
"And as a vampire?" Elijah had picked up the wording of the youngest's statement, which implied so much.
"When the Vampire Cures was placed on us all they lost the power to use spells but could still use their gifts in some way. Well all but Kol, he could still use magic in the same way he always had" Nikola spoke. "Fen would just gather magic and pushing it into items, imbuing everyday objects so they had a specific magical purpose, you could say we had the first Cell Phones" She snickers at her joke, so do the others.
"As a Vampire I can pick up smells long after they have gone. I also have a… sort of 6th sense as to the direction the one I'm tracking has gone in" Fin piped up
Elijah Explained "Now I can enhance or diminish a persons emotions, Make a stubborn person apathetic, make someone catatonic without emotions, that sort of thing"
"I can see a clear path into the future, weeks, sometimes years ahead of time. Though it can change without me knowing if I don't monitor it" Reuben interrupted "all this is without mentioning that Nikola has the ability to shift to her wolf form without problem and can compel anyone" at this he mildly glares down at the woman in his arms, who jus tried to look innocent 'It dint work'.
"As a vampire I can drain an entire coven of magic if I really wanted to, probably knocked your Bennettnet witch on her ass to be frank"
"And why is the…" drawled Klaus 'he's trying to hide his intimidation at these clearly more powerful versions of us no doubt'
"Because…" he looked at his sister and the two smirked together, "I drained her of all the magic she had, plus at least half of her ancestors" at this all his siblings smirked.
Ester paled.
