Vin and the Shadow Dancer Chapter Thirteen: Crowstillo's Last Dance
Author's Note: Special shoutout to those who have been reviewing the story and reading it. Is the final chapter, so let me not waste anymore time.
Buck and King Vinoripmav are inside Yves' bedroom standing. The orb is being levitated by Vin who used a psychic power spell for his hands. Buck is searching for something in a pile of tools on top of the bed.
"Thanks for the speed boost spell you gave me to bring all of them doohickeys here," Buck expressed gratitude.
"Have you found anything useful?" Vin wondered, making sure no distractions happen.
"I don't know dude. No one will expect to be fixing a magical orb on a day like this," Buck answered, still searching. "Don't want to accidentally cause a commotion on that orb."
Vin looks at the crack part of the orb glowing. "Yes, it is better not to make a mistake. I rather not deal with another multiverse problem."
"Speaking of the multiverse, is there a possibility where I find someone to be together with?" Buck wants to know.
"Child, it is best not to see through the eyes of others. I let you search from the orb, and you'll want to take it like the girl who arrived," Vin denied.
"Yves?" Buck wondered.
"It was another one. Besides that, I doubt you will want to be in a similar scenario the Yves of my world is going through," Vin stated.
"You drive a hard reality," Buck understood. "Just want to have someone truly like me."
"Have you figured out how to fix the orb?" Vin is done with giving emotional support.
Buck sighs. "Well, I reckon no technology will fix the orb."
"For a brief moment I believed you found a way," Vin admitted.
Buck turns to face Vin. He is holding his lucky wrench. "I don't have a dabble in magic. But I do have an alternate solution. I make some glue, put it on the orb, and then put a piece of durable metal on top to make sure it sticks. Won't be perfect, but you don't have to worry about some weird glowing cloud coming out of it."
"Technology combined with magic?" Vin laughs. "If we weren't in a desperate situation, I would completely deny you doing that. Do you expect that to work?"
Buck shrugs. "Is worth a shot. Worst case scenario we harm the multiverse even more. Can you make some sort of protection spell on the glue and metal? That might also help."
"Very well, but what about making the glue. I don't see any tools here that can be beneficial for that," Vin pointed out.
"We will have to head back to the cafeteria. Hopefully, there will be no skeletons inside the dome," Buck answered, readying his wrench to knock out robots.
"Alright," Vin responded. He goes to open the door with his right hand. He is still levitating the orb with his left hand's psychic energy. "We have no time to waste."
"Question though, how come you don't just make glue right now on the orb?" Buck pondered.
"I can only use spells one at a time," Vin answered. "Controlling the orb with psychic energy continues to be a spell until I bring my hand down."
A few seconds passed. Buck chuckles. "Not gonna lie, I thought you would bring your hand down to demonstrate. Which would have maybe cracked more the orb."
"Centuries of experience lets one know not to make foolish mistakes," Vin replied. He closes the door to Yves' room. "Lead the way."
"Right," Buck nodded.
Outside the dome, the two armies wait for a leader to charge for battle. Yves and King Crowstillo still have their swords ready in case one attacks the other. The two armies get into position once the fight commences. Henry opens his bag to activate his new and improved robotic suit.
"I'm impressed you were able to survive such a massive fall," King Crowstillo told the dancer.
"I'm impressed you're able to stand considering how old you are," Yves retorted.
King Crowstillo smirks and lets out a small chuckle. "Let's just say I made some improvements to my body." He does a plow ward stance by putting his right foot forward, and placing his sword near his knees, with the blade aimed at Yves' chest.
"You're not the only one with improvements," Yves responded coldly. She does an ox ward stance by putting her left foot forward, with her sword held close to her face and aimed towards the upper regions of King Crowstillo's body.
Using her speed-blitzing vampire power, Yves rushes towards King Crowstillo with a leap and performs a diagonal slash along the way. Despite being surprised to see such amazing speed, King Crowstillo is able to block the attack by bringing his sword close to him vertically. He takes a few steps back thanks to the sudden assault.
"She's mine!" Ingrid exclaimed. One of her four Venus flytraps bites Yves by the stomach and throws the vampire dancer into a nearby building, breaking a large piece of wall in the process. The mutant gardener then climbs up the building next to the one Yves is in thanks to her flytraps.
"Charge!" King Crowstillo gave his command to his pirate robot skeleton army.
Activating their jetpacks, the skeletons fly to the mechs and use their swords to slash them. Jay activates his jet boots and he goes to pick up Yvette.
"Let's get you to a safer place to do your stuff," Jay told the techie and flies his way to a roof that is not too far away from the battle. "There ya go. Make sure not to hit me with snow." He gets back in the air, hovering so he can watch the skeleton army battle it out against the mechs.
"I wish," Yvette muttered under her breath. She taps her new tablet with her fingers.
The contestants unleash their attacks on the skeletons. Daniel presses a button in his control room to activate large boombox speakers on his mech's shoulders. The sound vibrancy of music sends back the skeletons slashing his mech.
"Get off of me you dead *****!" Caleb cursed as soars up high into the sky, dozens of skeletons following him. He unleashes giant chess pieces from his mech to destroy the skeletons.
Calvin's triceratops mech uses its horns to bash skeletons heading his way, piercing some of the skeletal bodies with a good stab.
"Attack the sides!" One of the skeletons gave a command. The skeletons slash the triceratops mech's sides to damage it.
"There's too many of them on me," Calvin exclaimed, having no way to get the skeletons off besides body slamming into the road.
The jaguar mech arrives. Using its claws, it takes down the skeletons putting a major dent in Calvin's mech.
"You're welcome," Chris told Calvin from inside the jaguar mech. Surely, he is smirking. "You got my side and I got yours?"
"You bet," Calvin affirmed and the two worked together.
Mitch and Brittany are using their mechs to toss Niu's ball mech around like a game of catch. This helps them break many skeletons into pieces that are flying in the air. Sami activates the roller blades under her mech's feet to slice skeletons in the air while having good momentum on the ground. Despite their strong efforts, more robot skeletons keep on coming and get some clean hits on the mechs. Dana is having the easiest time dealing with the skeletons thanks to swinging her katana swords.
Margaret sets her eyes on Henry. She controls her mech to grab the two knives on the back to fight.
"Ready for a rematch?" Margaret exclaimed.
Thanks to the speakers on the mech, Henry can hear her. He chuckles evilly as he activates his robotic suit's arms to bring out the laser cannons. "Oh, this won't even be a match."
Henry fires lasers from the cannons. Margaret uses the knives to deflect the shots. The lasers end up blasting through several buildings and skeletons. Henry, getting frustrated, decides to keep firing without moving. This allows Margaret to move while continuing to deflect the lasers. Before she can get a good slash on the dimensional intruder, Jay flies in to use one of his brass knuckles to give a good strong hit on the back of the mech.
"What the heck?" Margaret wondered from inside her mech.
This allows Henry to use his robotic suit and kick one of the knives out of the mech's hand. With the knife now in the air, Ingrid uses one of her Venus flytraps to catch the giant knife and bring it to her while still climbing.
"Repetition is doom for failure," Jay warned Henry as he flies away.
Henry simply rolls his eyes. He activates the laser cannons again at Margaret, this time moving around to be more unpredictable. Margaret still deflects the shots with her other knife.
Ingrid gets on the building's roof she was climbing. Her Venus flytraps throw the knife towards the jaguar mech, cutting the tail.
"Crud," Chris told himself in fear.
Before Ingrid makes another attack, she hears someone calling her name.
"Ingrid!" Yves exclaimed, standing on part of the roof that has not fallen after colliding into the building when the mutant threw her.
Ingrid notices almost no bruises on her enemy She is angry and flabbergasted. "That, that makes no sense! You're supposed to be dead! How did you survive that with barely a scratch!?"
"Well, you see Ingrid. I can tell," Yves takes off her compression bandages from her arms, revealing the scars she made in the Radiant Finale. This does not bother her. It is a part of her now. "But I'll let you figure that out."
Ingrid growls. She unleashes her fire breath at Yves. The vampire leaps in her speed blitzing way and claws off one of the flytraps while dodging the fire breath.
"H-how!?" Ingrid wondered once she stops breathing fire. She turns around to notice Yves behind a few feet apart. "What the heck are you?"
Yves smirks. "Fine, I'll tell." She unleashes her orange claws from her nails to get a bit longer. "A real bloody vampire."
As the battle outside the dome rages on, Buck is making the glue inside the cafeteria with Vin standing on guard, continuing to use psychic energy to levitate the orb near him.
"How much longer?" Vin asked the MacGyver.
"Less than you think," Buck answered, mixing ingredients in a hand size bowl with a wooden spoon.
Keeping watch, Vin notices a small army of skeletons heading his way. "We have company. Let's go back to Yves' room. You can finish there."
"You got to watch my back," Buck told as he runs to Vin's side as he keeps mixing.
Vin and Buck get out of the cafeteria and head straight to the army. Thanks to the spell being active, the vampire king uses his other hand to activate its ability and levitate all the skeletons in his vicinity. He crushes his palm so all the skeletons can break into parts.
"Whoa, glad I'm on your side," Buck is relieved as the two run back to the room. A skeleton head follows them to know where Vin is taking the orb.
Back outside the dome. King Crowstillo and Ringleader notice the heroes are having an easier time dealing with the jetpack pirate skeleton army.
"Now?" Ringleader asked.
"Now," Crowstillo confirmed.
Ringleader takes out his improved technological whip. He does an overhead whipcrack at Mitch's mech. Despite being far away the whip stretches long enough for the crack to hit the mech's right leg. An electrical surge flows through the mech and disables all functions.
"Expected to last longer but this isn't a horror show," Mitch said in distress.
Brittany, not knowing Mitch's mech is deactivated throws Niu's mech at him. This causes the two mechs to collide, with Niu's breaking the lower half of Mitch's mech. The upper body part falls to the ground.
"Massive damage upon inspection," A monotone robotic voice coming from Niu's mech told her.
The goal digger rubs the top of her head. "Thanks for telling me."
Ringleader does an overhead whip again. This time it hits Brittany's mech and disables it.
"Oh, come on! I've practically haven't done anything relevant in my time being here," Brittany complained.
Margaret while fighting Henry notices at one point in her knife's reflection what the Ringleader is doing. She throws her knife at the whip to slice it.
"Ugh, now I have to get closer to my targets," Ringleader acknowledged with annoyance. He runs to whichever mech feels like the best to deactivate.
"You shouldn't have thrown away your only weapon," Henry told Margaret.
"Please, the only weapons I need to pound your face as these fists," Margaret spoke aggressively and confidently. She puts the mech's right fist into its left palm.
Henry, not intimidated in the slightest fires two lasers at the mech, destroying the hands.
"I have to stop talking when picking up a fight," Margaret told herself.
Before Henry can do any damage Sami arrives from the sky. She is going for a dropkick with her rollerblades. Henry in his robotic suit jumps backward to dodge the attack.
"Go warn Buck and Vin that we need help," Sami advised. "We're losing badly here."
Margaret runs away while noticing Brittany and Mitch's mechs down. The Ringleader whips Niu's mech for safe measure.
Yvette, maintaining her place on a rooftop creates a giant cloud thanks to her tablet. Then with the controls of the tablet, she brings the cloud above Caleb's hovering mech in the air.
"Hmm, the weather didn't say it will be cloudy today," Caleb looked at the cloud's shadow above. Looking up, he notices that is just the particular cloud above him. "Ah, shi…"
Hail drops heavily on the short kid's mech, bringing it down to the ground with a large thud. The hail keeps going, covering the mech in snow.
Yves and Ingrid continue to battle. The mutant is shown having all her Venus flytraps cut off and scratches all over her. Part of her clothing has been ripped too.
"I... can't let... you win," Ingrid panted.
"Too bad," Yves smiled. Before she can claw her opponent again, Jay arrives to grab her by the hair.
"Sorry doll, was I interrupting something?" Jay grinned evilly. He throws Yves into the air with a swing. Then he uses his jet boots to fly and deliver a powerful stomach punch with his brass knuckle.
Thanks to the directory, Yves hits the road hard, creating a crater. She is barely able to move. She watches the Ringleader deactivate the jaguar mech. Then she glances at the cloud in the sky shooting hail at Calvin's mech. The majority of the robot skeletons are focusing on Dana to keep the kid occupied since it's the most dangerous mech. Sami is having a hard time trying to get a good hit on Henry. Could this be it for everyone?
Margaret knocks on Yves' door.
"Who is it?" Vin asked from inside the room.
"We need help. We're getting our butts kicked out there," Margaret for the first time probably in her life pleaded.
Inside the room, Buck is preparing to cover the orb with glue and a piece of metal he cut for the crack.
"Please, I don't want to die," Margaret pleaded once more from outside the door.
"Vin, you have to go help them," Buck told the vampire king.
"We can bring them back when the orb is fixed," Vin assured. He levitates the orb close to Buck's face. "Glue it now."
"Yves promised me no one will die. Also, don't you need her alive to bring her back?" Buck wondered.
Vin sighs. "Yes, because if she dies here, she can't return to her world even with a revive."
"Then go help," Buck told.
"I am not fully healed from my injury. I refuse to leave this place," Vin denied going.
"If you don't help Yves could die. I'll glue the metal to the orb myself. Trust me," Buck affirmed.
Margaret opens the door. Vin looks at her. Then at Buck and then the orb. The vampire stops the spell. Buck catches the orb.
"Help him," Vin told Margaret before exiting the room.
At the battle, Sami and Henry are still fighting each other.
"Can you stop moving?" Henry told Sami, unable to get a clear shot at her.
"Nope," Sami said with a happy laugh.
Ringleader goes to whip Daniel's mech, but the party dude activates his loudspeakers. The soundwave sends Ringleader far away. At the roof, Ingrid has finally regenerated her Venus flytraps. She searches for Yves in the crater, but the dancer disappeared. King Crowstillo simply observes everything that is going on.
Yvette, continuing to maintain on the rooftop, decides to move her hail cloud to go above Sami. Yves appears flying in the air in the background. She then tackles Yvette onto the floor of the roof. Caught off guard by the impact, Yvette drops her tablet. The tablet slides towards a corner of the roof. Yves gets off of Yvette and goes for the tablet.
"No!" Yvette screamed and ran after her enemy.
Thanks to her vampiric speed, Yves gets the tablet easily. Yvette had no chance.
"To be honest, I thought you were better than this. Teaming up with a bunch of mad men and a psycho mutant should be beneath you," Yves told Yvette as she looks at the tablet. "This isn't about revenge on me, is it?"
"No, you saved my life," Yvette reminded. "I just… wanted to win the Total Drama season I was in. Or any season in a universe I have been. The orb can give me the ability to do that."
"What if something happens to you after you win?" Yves sincerely asked. "The orb can change the past, but it doesn't reveal what happens to your future. It could end more badly for you."
"So what? I'm just supposed to accept the fact I'll probably never win a Total Drama competition in any universe?" Yvette said gloomily.
Yves sighs. She slices the tablet into five pieces with her claw. "I won Total Drama once. And it was probably the biggest mess up ever. The only reason I don't fully regret it is because I got a boyfriend out of it. I hardly know you, but I don't want to see you become me. Trying to fix the past and messing with the multiverse as a consequence."
Yvette at that moment realizes that Yves is responsible for all of this.
"I will never make your mistake, but I realize that winning isn't everything. Especially not to please someone who might never compliment you," Yvette spoke. "Thanks for helping me see that. Go stop those villains."
"Will do," Yves smiled. She looks down and notices King Crowstillo running away from the battlefield with a skeleton robot in his left hand since his right hand has his rapier sword.
Dana has finished off the remaining pirates of the skeleton army. "That was the last of them." She raises her swords. "Who's next?"
Jay comes flying to deliver a strong punch to break the glass part of the mech's head that allows Dana to see.
"I've waited for so long for this," Jay grinned like a maniac. "Come here you!"
Jay grabs Dana by the neck and takes her out of her mech. He raises the child to provoke more panic.
"I throw you right now to the ground, but that would be a fast death. I want to make this as slow as possible," Jay told the frightened girl.
"You, won't win," Dana struggles to get rid of Jay's grip.
Jay punches the right side of Dana's face, knocking out the glasses in the process. The glasses fall to the ground and break apart. Jay continues punching Dana's face while cackling. Enjoying this moment.
A swarm of bats appears messing with Jay's hair.
"Hey, out of my way!" Jay told the bats. He drops Dana so he can focus on punching the bats away.
Dana screams as she falls from the sky. The swarm of bats attacking Jay goes to rescue her. The bats use their toes to grab Dana. They bring her down to the ground safely.
Dana watches the swarm transform into King Vinoripmav. The two witness Sami's mech get blasted by Henry's lasers, specifically the leg parts.
"I'm down!" Sami announced.
Daniel, the last remaining in his mech stands next to Dana and Vin. They watch Henry, Jay, Ingrid, and the Ringleader group together.
"So, you're the vampire Crowstillo was talking about," Henry believed.
Vin's response to that is putting his hands together. He separates them and a yellow magical chain is formed. He grabs the chain with his left hand and shoots it at the right robotic suit arm of Henry. The chain gets longer until it attaches itself to the arm. Vin uses both of his hands to pull the chain. Due to his strength, the chain rips apart the arm. The arm falls to the ground. The chains vanish.
The four villains glance nervously at each other. Ringleader decides to be the first to fight the vampire. He does an overhead whip-crack at Vinoripmav. Vin catches the whip with his left hand. Ringleader activates the electricity from the whip to shock Vin.
This barely hurts the vampire. Vin clenches the whip so hard that the part he is holding breaks into pieces. He uses his psychic spell to levitate the whip out of the Ringleader's grasp and crumble it like it is a paper ball.
Henry, Ingrid, and Jay remain stunned. The fear in them prevents any from attacking.
Ringleader decides to throw his hallucination blue egg bombs at Vin. A blue cloud engulfs the vampire. The four villains wait for the vampire to start panicking. However, Vin simply uses his speed to grab Ringleader's right shoulder and yank the arm out of his body.
Ringleader screams in pain as he gets on his knees. Vin then walks in front of the carnival maniac and grabs him by the neck. To finish, the vampire chokes Ringleader until the man can no longer breathe. Vin lets go of the dead man.
Vin stares coldly at Henry, Ingrid, and Jay.
Jay gets into a fighting pose and growls. "I won't let you stop me from having my revenge." He uses his jet boots to fly fast at Vin.
Vin did not expect this sudden speed and gets sent to air by a strong uppercut from Jay. Jay goes after him and continues punching him repeatedly in the air.
"I'll make sure my brass knuckles leave you in a bloody pulp," Jay exclaimed.
Vin turns into a swarm of parts to dodge Jay's attacks. He goes back into his regular form.
"Blood doesn't sound like a bad idea," Vin mused. He goes to grab Jay's shirt by the back. He spins his prey around and then throws the dude to the ground. This leaves a crater under Jay as big as the one he did to Yves.
Jay gets up panting heavily. Vin flies to the ground. The vampire activates his psychic spell this time by extending his arms horizontally a bit and turning his hands up in a one hundred eighty-degree angle. Three giant pillar rocks come from above the ground. Vin crushes Jay with them.
Ingrid uses her Venus flytraps to attack Vin. Before getting a hit, all four get sliced by one of Dana's giant katanas, the nerd now back in her mech. Daniel tries to get into the action, but Henry activates the laser cannon in his robotic suit's left arm to blast the mech's head off.
Daniel managed not to get caught in the blast, but with his control room destroyed he can no longer continue in battle.
Henry shoots his laser at Dana to keep the hostess occupied while Ingrid grows back her flytraps. Jay pushes the pillar rocks off of him. His body has been messed up badly.
"Jay Harrett doesn't lose to no one!" Jay shouted at Vin.
"Oh, but I am not just someone," Vin spoke. He speeds close to Jay, gripping the revenge seeker with his hands. He opens his mouth widely to show his sharp fangs.
"No, no, no, no!" Jay shouted in horror, trying his best to break free from the grip.
Vin pierces Jay's neck with his fangs. He sucks all the blood out of Jay and leaves the defeated man on the ground.
After regaining her flytraps, Ingrid uses her fire breath with the addition of her babies to create a wall of fire around her and Henry. Vin wonders what the remaining two survivors are planning. A laser shoots at the vampire, right where his injury is. In pain, Vin clenches his injury and falls to the ground. He lays there.
"No!" Dana cried out, observing from her mech.
Henry and Ingrid make a massive jump out of the circle wall of fire. They walk towards the laying vampire.
"Saw that spot of yours during your battle with Jay. Figured out that could be a weak spot," Henry said.
Vin scuffles to get up, grunting as he does.
"So much for a grand king," Ingrid mocked.
Dana uses her mech to step on the mutant.
"Wait your turn!" Henry exclaimed and aimed her laser cannon at Dana.
Dana uses one of her katanas to slice the robotic suit's remaining arm before it even gets a chance to fire a laser.
Henry pouts. "This stinks."
Using the other katana, Dana slices the legs of the suit. This causes it to fall on its back, breaking Henry's backpack in the process.
"No, my jetpack was in there!" Henry exclaimed. He has been defeated.
Ingrid digs up from a road nearby. She is furious to see everything from her side be taken down. Her Venus flytraps grab each katana sword and pierce Dana's mech in the stomach with them. The flytraps let go. They target Dana to eat her alive.
Dana braces for her death and closes her eyes. After a few seconds of not hearing her body being torn apart, she opens her eyes. She looks at the Venus flytraps and Ingrid standing still like a statue. She looks to her right noticing Vin pointing two fingers at the mutant while still on the ground.
"What did you do to me?" Ingrid asked Vin, only able to move her eyes and mouth.
"Paralyze spell," Vin answered. "You're not going anywhere." He passes out.
All people inside their mech get out. The army and villains are defeated. However, where is King Crowstillo?
Inside the room are Margaret and Buck finishing up with the orb. Margaret is holding the orb carefully while Buck puts glue on the cracked part. The dirty blond then puts the metal piece he cut on top of the glue, sticking it slowly. Once done, the orb gives a red glow.
"Don't panic, keep holding it," Buck told the Delta Droid.
Margaret nods. Eventually, the orb stops glowing. Buck tries to take the metal piece off, but it is stuck tight.
"We did it!" Buck said victoriously, letting out a smile.
Margaret smiles too. "Alright!"
The two high-fived each other.
Margaret narrows her eyes. "We shall never speak of this high five again."
"Okay," Buck agreed. He is still smiling like a goofball.
"Ah, so glad to know both of you completed your task," King Crowstillo's voice is heard.
Margaret and Buck turn around to see the man standing near the door.
King Crowstillo raises his sword. "Now, now. Don't try to do anything stupid. Hand over the orb and I'll spare you both from death."
Buck and Margaret look at each other, wondering what to do. Buck decides to take the orb and give it to Crowstillo.
"Marvelous," Crowstillo is star-struck as he examines it.
Not wanting him to win, Margaret decides to go for a beatdown.
"Margaret, wait!" Buck exclaimed, pushing his ally away.
Not liking a surprise attack, Crowstillo slices Buck's left hand. At that moment, if feels like time stops as the two teens witness the hand fall to the floor.
Buck does not know how to process this. Margaret quickly takes off his unbuttoned red flannel shirt to tie it on the cut wrist.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Margaret repeated on the verge of crying as she hugs Buck from behind. She lays him on the floor.
Crowstillo chuckles. "I have to hand it to you both. Don't know what is more idiotic. You trying to fight me or him saving you." He raises his sword again. "Oh well, guess I have to murder children now."
Before Crowstillo can use a death slash, he hears a pair of hands touching the orb. He turns around to see Yves having her hands on it while his left is under it.
"I'm making sure you never harm anyone else again," Yves declared determinedly.
The red orb glows and creates a red velvet cloud. Yves and King Crowstillo are engulfed in it and disappear.
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
Somewhere unknown, there is a red velvet stone road. Around it is a misty dark blue terrain fog. Above the road are various red velvet clouds showing different universes that take place in Total Drama competitions. A bright flash appears. Yves and Crowstillo appear as well after the flash. The orb drops onto the road. Thankfully, the metal part that was glued on it touches the road first. The orb rolls a bit and stops.
Yves and King Crowstillo get up, rubbing their butts in pain. They look around.
"Where are we?" Yves asked.
"We must be inside the crossroad of the multiverse," Crowstillo examines. "Look, there's you right there."
Yves looks at the cloud Crowstillo is pointing at. It is showing her with thirteen contestants on Cali-tokyo. The difference is that Violette, Sami, Niu, and Nolan are not there. Rather four other teens she cannot recognize.
"Does that one has a real mechanical arm?" Yves wondered, looking at the female.
King Crowstillo slashes Yves' back, making the dancer get on her knees and put her hands on the stone road.
"Never turn your back on something who's going to kill you," King Crowstillo advised. He raises his sword for a downward stab. "I will make sure to aim for the head."
Yves closes her eyes and concentrates hard enough to transform herself into a bat. She is successful and dodges the stab while carrying her sword with her feet. Crowstillo takes his rapier sword out of the stone road.
"I see, Vin gave you the curse of being a vampire. How does it feel to be a monster?" Crowstillo asked, enjoying this.
Yves flies away at a safe distance. She turns back into her regular form. She grabs her sword in the air. "Honestly, I've been feeling more human lately."
"I do not know what that is supposed to mean," Crowstillo admitted. He gets into the stance when arriving outside the dome. "Does not matter, once I kill you the multiverse will be mine."
"Why do you want the multiverse in the first place? Sounds like a big responsibility to me," Yves spoke as she copies Crowstillo's stance.
"I am a conqueror. Having the multiverse in my hands means I can do whatever I want. Enslave worlds, destroy them, raise an economic capitalistic multiverse where I receive the most riches. Go around and explore worlds for fun," Crowstillo explained. "Many reasons."
"Not going to happen in my watch," Yves proclaimed. "Knick is not with me here, but being a vampire means you're out of my league."
Crowstillo chuckles with a smirk. "Remember when I mentioned I gave my body improvements?" He hovers in the air thanks to the bottom of his feet propelling up like rockets. "Jay is not the only one who can do it."
"Could anything in life not be difficult," Yves complained as she levitates.
The two sword fighters fly at each other and clash with their rapiers. Crowstillo flies back to get some distance. Yves goes for a disengage. Crowstillo counters this with a circle parry. The king goes behind Yves and grab's the dancer's shirt to throw her to the road.
Yves bounces a bit before coming to a stop. Crowstillo gets back on the road.
"That was pathetic," Crowstillo taunted while keeping guard.
This provokes Yves to run at Crowstillo and do a lunge at the king. Crowstillo deflects this and slashes Yves' right knee.
"Ugh!" Yves groaned. She gets on the floor with just her right knee. She uses both hands to hold her rapier and gives an upward diagonal slash.
Crowstillo steps back to dodge the attack. He activates a small laser cannon from his left arm and aims at Yves' forehead.
"Crud," Yves told herself.
The laser blast sends her flying yards away. Yves stands up again. She rubs her forehead, growling in distaste. Crowstillo uses his metal rocket feet to hover at a safe distance for an attack or defense on his opponent depending on the situation.
"This is rather disappointing," Crowstillo admitted.
"Disappointing? Are you not even trying?" Yves is shocked.
"You lack experience in a sword fight. The only reason you stood a chance against me that time was that you had Knick by your side," Crowstillo answered.
Yves uses her vampiric speed to do a beat attack on Crowstillo's blade. The king yawns as he walks back while blocking each slash. Finding an opportunity, Crowstillo slashes Yves's left shoulder. This stops the vampire's assault. The fabric of her clothing on that shoulder is cut and leaves a mark on her skin.
King Crowstillo slashes aggressively Yves' body, leaving marks and tearing parts of her outfit in the process.
Yves breathes in and out while looking at the ground. The pain is becoming too much to withstand.
"As I said, lack of experience," King Crowstillo said. To deliver the final blow, he lunges at Yves' head.
Yves grabs the tip of the Crowstillo's rapier with her left hand. "What I lack in experience I make up for in strength." Her eyes turn red, and she quickly breaks the rapier.
Crowstillo takes a few steps back and throws his broken rapier into a cloud. Wherever it ends up in another dimension does not matter to him. He looks at the orb on the road. Taking it now will be too risky. He has to find a way to defeat Yves. He activates the cannon from his arm to shoot Yves again.
Yves deflects the laser with the tip of her sword. The laser hits Crowstillo. The impact sends Crowstillo into one of the velvets clouds, existing out of the crossroad.
"Fantastic," Yves said sarcastically. She enters the cloud Crowstillo was sent in.
Now in a different dimension, Yves is flying above an ocean. She sees a cruise ship nearby. Her eyes turn back to yellow.
"Hmm, I've seen this ship in a dream once," Yves spoke.
King Crowstillo comes flying on his rocket feet to pull on the dancer's hair. Yves scowls at her enemy for doing that.
"Let's see if you are that species that can't handle water," Crowstillo wondered. He brings Yves down to the ocean.
The density of the salt water is making Yves have trouble breathing. Her eyes turn red. This gives her the strength she needs to free herself from Crowstillo's grip and bring him out of the water. Yves tosses her enemy in the air and slices Crowstillo's metal stomach.
Crowstillo lands on the poop deck of the cruise ship, sliced in two. Yves arrives to see the defeated king. Or what she thought was defeated.
The wires between the stomach regenerate and attach themselves so Crowstillo can have his full body back.
"I forgot you can do that," Yves admitted.
She is replied with a kick to her stomach so strong it sends her back into the cloud the two came to this universe by. Yves enters the crossroad and then bounces into another cloud. King Crowstillo follows her, with the cloud from the cruise ship dimension disappearing after.
Yves falls on an island with a large prison on it. She breaks the sturdy stone walls in one area and enters what appears to be a gymnasium. She slowly gets up, trying to forget the immense discomfort her body is being put through.
"Ugh, he wasn't kidding when he made improvements," Yves said.
King Crowstillo arrives with a stone-cold expression. Suddenly, the two receive an aura surrounding them. Crowstillo's is a jade color while Yves' aura is black. The two fighters look at each other wondering if one of them knows what is going on. Both of them shrug, having no clue. Crowstillo decides to test this aura and concentrates on his hand. Crystals begin to form.
"This is going to end badly, isn't it?" Yves told to no one in particular. A giant crystal hits her face. She falls down on her butt.
Crowstillo forms a crystal barrier around him. Inside he is concentrating to form a new rapier sword for himself. Yves runs up and uses her rapier to try and cut the crystal barrier. Realizing her sword is useless, she gets angry.
So angry in fact her aura engulfs her in shadows. The only visible part of her body is the glowing red eyes. She clenches her left hand into a fist. Red electricity sparks from it.
"Stop hiding!" Yves shouted as she punched the barrier. The punch obliterates the barrier, shattering the crystals into tiny pieces.
Crowstillo is shocked to see this power as he finishes his crystal rapier sword. Before he can even lunge at this enemy, Yves gives a gut punch that sends him back into the velvet cloud. Yves flies off to keep on battling.
Back at the crossroads, King Crowstillo is sent upwards to a cloud higher in the sky. His crystal sword is not with him. This cloud sends him to what appears to be a roman-like coliseum. He rolls on the sand. He stops when hitting a giant bright yellow stone statue with the appearance of Chris McLean. He groans painfully as he gets up. He notices his crystal sword is not with him.
"Ugh!" Crowstillo complained. He activates his rocket feet and flies behind the Chris statue.
Yves arrives at the coliseum by the cloud. She no longer has the aura around like Crowstillo. The shadows and red eye glow are gone as well. Her eyes turn back to yellow.
"Where can he be?" Yves wondered.
As she walks around with her rapier in defense position, a large shadow is over her. Turning around, she notices the giant Chris statue about to fall on top of it.
"I dislike the multiverse," Yves stated before the statue crushes her.
Deciding it will be best to leave her here, Crowstillo flies to the velvet cloud. Yves uses her claws to break part of the statue to free herself. She takes her sword out. She looks around at the sky and notices Crowstillo escaping. She flies off to tackle him.
Once again, the two enter the crossroad of the multiverse and then into another cloud. This time they enter what appears to be Wawanakwa.
An athletic young woman who stands at a height of five feet and six inches is sitting on a stump drinking tea. Her straight, black hair reaches to her waist. She is wearing black yoga pants and, a purple hockey jersey with the number 9. The woman notices the battle taking place between Crowstillo and Yves who are fighting on the ground. Once the king has the upper hand, he activates his rocket feet to soar in the air and throw Yves into the velvet cloud. He follows the dancer. The velvet cloud disappears.
The athletic woman pours her tea on the grass. She feels like she has drunk enough today.
Yves lands on a pile of snow of a large mountain from another universe. Noticing Crowstillo arriving, she hides in the snow to go for a surprise attack.
"I am tired of these charades," Crowstillo declared as stands on the snowy mountain. He aims his laser cannon on the snow and activates the laser, getting rid of all the snow in the area.
With Yves no longer able to hide, Crowstillo grabs her by the back of her head. He takes her to the crossroad of the multiverse and scraps the vampire's head onto the stone road. Having enough, he lets go.
Yves stands up, barely able to raise her sword. Crowstillo stomps on her left foot.
Yves screams in pain.
"Your nuisance has gone on far enough," Crowstillo avowed. He throws several punches at his opponent. "This, ends, now!"
With one more punch and taking his foot off, Crowstillo sends Yves a large distance away. The vampire dropped her rapier upon the last impact of the punch. Crowstillo picks it up and throws it at her.
Still standing, Yves does a pirouette to dodge the rapier and grab it back. At this point, is pretty much hopeless to take Crowstillo down with pure brawn. So, she will have to use her brain instead.
Yves throws the rapier back at her opponent. She unleashes her claws and flies to slash Crowstillo. Crowstillo uses his stretching arm ability to grab the sword before it can stab him. Then he lunges at Yves and pierces the sword through her chest.
Yves is doing her absolute best to stay alive as she feels her life source fading away.
"It is over," Crowstillo told triumphantly.
"T-the o-orb," Yves spoke.
Crowstillo looks at the orb on the ground. He stretches his other mechanical arm and grabs the orb just so he can taunt the lady. "Oh, this? Pretty in my hand is it not?" He notices Yves still trying to live. "Any last words before I pierce your heart completely?"
Yves coughs out a laugh and smirks. "You, you should have aimed for the neck." Her eyes turn red, and she opens her mouth for her fangs to show. Using her left arm, she lifts up the red orb so she can sink her teeth in it.
"What are you doing?" Crowstillo is perplexed and scared. He lets go of his sword and takes steps back while holding the orb. All of sudden, the orb has turned gray. It cracks all over then breaks into pieces.
Crowstillo watches Yves' fangs absorb all the energy from the orb. All of the vampire's injuries are healed instantly since she now has full power over what the orb possesses. Except for the scratch on her cheek. Her body is engulfed in red light. Her eyes turn pure white. A flare velvet aura surrounds her.
"How? How?" King Crowstillo wondered enraged.
Yves takes the sword out of her chest and tosses it to Crowstillo. The hole in her chest heals. She says nothing, staring down at the old man.
Not getting an answer, Crowstillo lunges at Yves' chest again. This time, as soon as the rapier touches the fiery aura, it starts to disintegrate into darkish red ash. Crowstillo lets go of the rapier. The sword dissolves completely.
"Every kingdom crumbles at one point," Yves stated. She raises her right hand.
All of sudden, King Crowstillo can feel himself turning into the darkish red ash, starting from his feet.
"When I'm done, you will be nothing but a memory," Yves said one last sentence to the king.
Crowstilo smirks. "Well done, you have my respect." He finishes turning into ash. The wind picks the ash up and it goes all over the multiverse.
The king being officially dead, Yves walks around the road. She happens to find a cloud that is showing the events of Radiant Redemption. That cloud she is watching must be from her world. With a wave of her hand, she rewrites the mistake she made in eliminating Sami.
"I can only change the event, not foresee the future of its result," Vin's voice echoes in her head.
Yves sighs. With a wave of her left hand, she undoes the change she made.
Back at the Cali-tokyo where the battle was held, everyone is trying to treat well Buck and Vin injuries. Both of them are laying on a stretcher. Buck has the arm his hand was cut off on his chest with his jacket still wrapped over it.
"I checked everywhere in my mech," Dana told the contestants, Chris, and Vin. "Yves and King Crowstillo are not here."
Winds start to pick up. A velvet cloud appears near everybody. Yves steps out still in her orb absorption form.
"Oh great, who the **** is it this time?" Caleb wondered.
"Guys, I think that's Yves," Sami noticed.
Yves walks toward Buck and Vin.
"Y-Yves?" Buck squinted his eyes.
Yves notices the wrapped flannel he has on. She puts her hands on it. A red glow is shown. Once it stops, Buck unwraps the flannel and notices a mechanical hand attached to his arm.
"Yo, this is so cool!" Buck is amazed as he gets up from his stretcher.
"I'm not able to reverse the effect of your hand being cut off because I want to prevent a possible future disaster," Yves explained. "But I hope you are okay with the compromise."
"Well, my hand coming back would have been nice," Buck admitted. He smiles as his mechanical hand turns into a hammer. "But this is awesome!" He turns his hand into a wrench, then a buzzsaw, then a screwdriver.
Yves then stands next to Vin. "How's the wound?"
Vin moves his cape a bit so she can see the messed-up injury. Words cannot describe how disgusting it looks. Yves vomits red barf onto the floor.
"Even absorbing the orb, I still can't stomach that," The dancer stated.
"You absorbed the orb?" Vin is flabbergasted.
"Relax, I'll bring it back. Just let me heal you," Yves playfully replied.
After healing Vin's injury, Yves concentrates on making a new orb. Once the process is complete, she gives it to Vin who gets out of his stretcher. Her eyes return to black.
"Where is King Crowstillo?" Vin asked.
Yves crosses her arms. "I wiped him out from existence," She proudly responded.
"That's it then, right?" Chris wants confirmation.
"Not exactly," Vin replied. He turns to his left to see Yvette and Henry tied up in rope while Ingrid is still paralyzed.
Henry sighs. "Just get it over with."
Vin uses the orb to bring Henry back to his world. Yves stands in front of Yvette. She gives out a handshake.
"Good luck back in your world. Or worlds I guess," Yves told.
Yvette shakes her hand. "Likewise."
Vin uses the orb and sends Yvette back. Yves then looks at Ingrid.
"Why didn't you revert her back to human?" She asked Vin.
"Let's just say, the chances of her winning are low in her world," Vin smirked. Like with the other two, he uses the orb to send Ingrid to her world.
"Thank you all for your bravery," Vin told the contestants, Dana, and Chris. "Yves and I will be heading back to our world now." He uses the orb to open a portal to the Crowstilloverse.
Yves turns around to see everyone waving back at her. Sami and Buck decide to go and hug her.
"I'm going to miss you so much," Sami said.
"Me too, despite what happened between us," Buck added.
"Thanks, you too. Is great to know there will always be someone there for me," Yves said.
The trio stops hugging.
"You'll find the person you're looking for Buck," Yves assured. She gives a brief glance to Niu before looking back at the MacGyver.
Buck nods in agreement. Sami, the others, and he watch Vin and Yves enter the portal. After a few seconds, someone speaks.
"This means Yves is eliminated right?" Caleb asked Dana and Chris.
"Too soon Caleb," Sami told her teammate.
Inside the portal, Vin decides to ask Yves a question. "When you absorbed the orb, did you erase the moment of you betraying the Sami in our world?"
"I did," Yves answered. "But then I turned it back to what it originally was. I realized throughout this journey that even when having the power to change the past, it's better to keep it that way. Learning from my mistakes to become a better person. If I change the past, won't that mean I never learned? I can always go apologize to Sami and Ingrid. Start a fresh friendship."
Vin nods. He lets out a slight chuckle. "Took you that long to realize that now?"
"Shut up," Yves playfully elbowed the vampire.
The other side of the portal opens, showing Vin's courtroom. The two exit out of the portal. The portal closes. Yves quickly runs around to find her boyfriend.
"Knick, Knick, Knick!" Yves called, but no response. She frowns. "Knick?" She said this time quietly.
Vin notices his throne chair scratched and destroyed to the side. The chandelier on the roof is no longer there since it is on the floor. The glass parts shattered into pieces.
"What happened here?" Vin wondered.
Coming through a wall is a bluish-white ghost. Her upper body resembles that of a human in their thirties. She is skinny with a nice waist and has a small chest. Her ghostly hair is short, not even reaching her neck. Some of her hair hides her left dark blue eye. The upper body is wearing a long sleeve blouse. The rest is a ghost tail.
"Vinoripmav, the King Vinoripmav?" The ghost wondered.
"Tasm, what are you doing here? And can you stop visiting my castle by going through the walls? There are doors here. Use them," Vin talked to the ghost.
"Oh, come on my king I do this all the time," Tasm responded whiningly. "Besides, I'm the only ghost who visits you."
"Where is Knick?" Yves asked the ghost coldly.
Tasm ponders. "Knick, Knick." She gets close to Yves. "Does he wear glasses? A trench coat?" She snaps her fingers so she can be wearing the journalist's outfit. "Isolated, mysterious, and blunt?
"Yes, him," Yves smiled. "You've seen him?"
"Nah, doesn't ring a bell," Tasm shrugged and floats away. She giggles to herself.
"Enough of the games Tasm, what happened to my throne?" Vin is serious.
"Riddle me this my king, what happens when the ruler of an island is absent for about nine months?" Tasm answered with a question.
"Nine months!?" Yves and Vin shouted surprised at the same time.
"Knick has been here for nine months?" Yves is horrified.
"Tasm, did they break through the shield I made around the island?" Vin wondered.
"Yes," Tasm answered Vin. She looks at Yves. "Also yes, but a bunch of dudes came in a helicopter to take him away. Some sort of reality competition I believe."
Yves, understanding Knick is alive and well looks at the vampire king. "Was that shield important?"
"Yes, but this is something not up to your ally," Vin replied seriously. "Let me take you home."
"Wait, I haven't gotten to possess her yet," Tasm whined. "It's been so long since I've been inside a human." She passes through Yves' body. "Huh?"
"Yves, are you still a vampire?" Vin wondered.
"Yes and no," Yves told as she rubs the back of her head. "Right now, I am a human. But I used the orb's power to allow me to become a vampire on command."
"No wonder I couldn't play with your body," Tasm pouted.
"I'm going to forget what you said," Yves stated.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Tasm, but I must bring Yves back to her home," Vin told the ghost. "I will be back shortly."
"Actually, I have a stop to make," Yves told the king as she looked at the orb in his hand.
In the urban house lands in Florida, Yves walks up to a house and rings the doorbell. The person opening the door is Sami. The theater girl is surprised to see Yves on her doorstep. There is a moment of silence. Sami notices the scratch mark on the dancer's right cheek.
"I have a lot of apologizing and making up to do," Yves said smiling, happy to see Sami again. "But I came to you first because I wanted to know. Can we make amends and start over?"
More silence comes. Sami takes one step forward and hugs Yves. She begins to cry. This makes Yves hug and cry as well. Vin watches the two reunited friends get emotional from afar.
