That Awkward Time I Fell In Love

Ch.13

Sasuke ran out of his office, closing the door behind him, and stormed up to his brother, who was arguing with Deidara.

"For the last time, we are over. We have been over for a while now," Itachi growled to the long haired blond.

"Oh, Itachi, darling, we were just on a break. I want you back," Deidara responded, hands on his hips.

"Deidara," Sasuke spoke up, pissed that the air headed artist was still there. "Security is on their way to escort you out so get a move on, and leave. Also, my brother has moved on and found someone else." Sasuke grinned as Deidara glared at the brothers, but mostly Sasuke.

"Who would my darling replace me with? There is no one as amazing as I am," he said with a sneer.

Itachi groaned, hand over his eyes. "That was the point, Deidara," he began, looking at the blond. "I don't want anyone that is even remotely like you."

Sasuke just smirked as security came and told him to leave or they would help him. After a minute, the blond nodded and left, glaring at the two.

Itachi sighed and faced his younger brother. "How is Naruto?" he asked in a concerned voice.

Sasuke scoffed. "The dobe thinks he was a side piece so you'd better go in my office and fix things, and explain about Deidara. Hopefully we never see that weirdo again."

Itachi nodded and went into Sasuke's office without knocking, and smiled softly at Naruto.

"Sorry, dear," he began. He held out a hand to Naruto, who just stood there, waiting. "Deidara is an ex that has apparently not gotten the message. Sasuke and I have set him straight about this, so he shouldn't bother me or anyone here again." He still held his hand out, waiting for Naruto to take hold.

"So," the young blond began, nervous. He had been fidgeting with his tie the whole time he was alone in the office. "I'm not a rebound or a side lover?" he asked, looking down, waiting for the worst.

"No, of course not," Itachi spoke, upset the other thought so low of himself. He would work on the younger male's self worth this weekend. "You are the only one I am seeing and the only one I want to be with. I really am hoping the two of us can be together for a really long time, Naruto."

Itachi took a deep breath, waiting for his answer, genuinely scared the other would leave him. "Deidara is the only ex that I have that should ever be a problem, and we fixed that today." Itachi started to lower his hand slowly, feeling the blond wouldn't accept it, when he felt fingers touch his palm. Naruto had reached out and grabbed his hand and nodded, Itachi squeezing his hand lightly.

"So long as he's the only one, I think I can still be with you, and try to remain calm," Naruto spoke, all the while holding the others hand, but still looking at the floor. Shoes seemed to be interesting today.

Itachi smiled and pulled the other into an embrace, firmly holding the other.
