It's been a few days since Taehyung died. He's been buried next to Seokjin, and the rest of them mourn his death. Suicide. They couldn't believe it. They had ended up telling the police that, and the police took their word. Kim Taehyung, death by suicide. Jimin took it the hardest. His best friend, who would never come back. Jimin was torn between anger and sadness, and that's what broke Jimin. He ended up locking himself in his room, and he has been in there ever since the day they had his funeral, which was the day they found the body.

"Please, you have to come out!" Namjoon said.

"No, I can't! I can't, I can't! One of you guys murdered him, and I'm not going to let it happen to me! Go away, Go away!"

Namjoon sighed, stepping away from the locked door. It was no use. Jimin wouldn't come out. It seemed like Jimin was going crazier by the second.

No. Namjoon shook his head. Ugh, sometimes he wished he didn't think to the extreme. It could implant grudges and assumptions about other people without him knowing it. He hated having those thoughts. Doubt and confusion.

He decided to go to Jungkook, who's in his room reading something. He sees Jungkook's eyes read the book ferociously, determined, focused. Namjoon hisses. He wished he could be like Jungkook. Oh, to be so brave and determined. Even on little things. That's what made Namjoon shake. In jealousy. In agony.

Of course, he couldn't tell Jungkook that. He couldn't just go "Hey, I'm super jealous of you! Fuck you!". That was selfish and rude. So, he decided to take a pacifist route. "Yo, Jungkook."

Jungkook perks up, hiding the book behind his back. "Oh! Hey, Namjoon.."

"What are you reading?" Namjoon asks, sitting beside Jungkook.

"It's nothing." Jungkook hides the book under his pillow behind him. "Can I talk to you about something?"

"Huh? Yeah, sure.." Namjoon was a bit surprised. He wanted to talk to Jungkook about something, not the other way around. Oh well.

Jungkook sighed, getting ready to tell Namjoon. He felt nervous, hands shaking"When we found Taehyung's body.. Hoseok kept looking at me to confirm what he said when you guys were suspecting him.. I knew what he said was true, but I didn't say anything because.. there was this voice in my head telling me not to." Jungkook admitted.

"Really? What did it say?" Namjoon asked.

"It kept telling me not to. It was saying 'Don't tell them. Don't tell them. If you do, the blame will be put on you. Don't tell them'."

"Well... I guess the voice in your head was telling you not to, because you wanted to be safe from suspicion."

"No!" Jungkook jumped up. "You don't get it. I didn't care if the blame was on me or not. The voice kept persisting, loud in my head, so I didn't, but then Hoseok got mad at me and now I think he doesn't like me anymore!"

"Oh.. well, that sounds like a case of some intrusive thoughts." Namjoon said, with a passive voice.

"What? No, that doesn't make sense. Anyway, what are you doing here? Need to ask me something?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh, yeah.." Namjoon had almost forgotten about what he had to tell Jungkook. But Namjoon couldn't tell Jungkook that now. Especially when Jungkook just admitted that he was sad and insecure and shit. He decided to change the topic completely. "It's about Jimin."

"Jimin? Didn't he like, lock himself in his room or something?"

"Yeah, about that... He keeps talking about how he is 'one with Taehyung' and now he thinks he's dead or something. Pretty fucking weird if you ask me." Namjoon said, not caring.

"Woah, really? He must've gone bonkers. Dude, Taehyung and Hoseok fighting is weird, but this is on a whole nother level of nuts. He's crazy!" Jungkook said, surprised. "Well, I think we should probably help him. Like, get him to therapy or something."

"No. That wouldn't be sufficient enough. He's way beyond his breaking point." Namjoon said, getting up. "Well, I think I'll see ya' later!" Namjoon said enthusiastically, leaving the room.

Jungkook is left in a bit of confusion. He did understand what Namjoon said, but he also thinks that Namjoon may be a little.. suspicious. He's weird in a way, and it's a bit concerning...

Fuck. As Jungkook realised that, he shook his head no. It was weird. Namjoon was weird. To think about him like that...

Damn, he really had intrusive thoughts, huh?

Nonetheless, he reached under his pillow and grabbed the book again. It was their promise. If one died, the other would get to keep the book, safe and sound. Jungkook wasn't going to give up the book to anyone else just for them to lose it, or break it. It was super important.

He skimmed through the pages until he found the page he was at before Namjoon walked in. "The one who was in his room... Taller than me, but not by much, judging by the shadow... Oh! There's my page."

Jungkook continued reading the "book" [Actually, it was more of a journal.] and kept on reading, too caught up in the book to notice what was happening somewhere else...

"So.. what do you think?" Hoseok asked, holding a frame by frame storyboard of what might have happened.

"Hmm.. Looks a bit sketchy, but go ahead." Yoongi said, nodding.

"The killer came in through the door, but Seokjin didn't notice then. The killer then tried to attack Seokjin from behind, but he noticed in time and tried to block the attack, which he did successfully. I think maybe Seokjin had a gash on his arm." Hoseok said, showing Picture 4. "Just at the edge of the picture is some of it."

"Ah, so he was attacked from behind? Interesting.." Yoongi said. "Continue, if you will."

He took a deep breath, and continued. "Then, in a panic, he flew to the other side of the room, in an attempt to reach the door. The killer was faster though, and stabbed Seokjin, which resulted in him falling onto the bed, which explains the bloodstains."

"Wait, there's a hole in your story. Was he stabbed from behind, or from the front?" Yoongi asked.

"In the front, obviously. The killer must've grabbed Seokjin by the arm, and then held him and stabbed him through the chest. When he fell, the knife went deeper. That's how he died so fast, I think." Hoseok replied.

"Oh, makes sense.." Yoongi said, remembering the picture of the wound. "Then?"

"The killer dragged Seokjin to the place where we found him, then got to work. They cleaned the floor with the lint roller, took a shower, and possibly got rid of some evidence. The end!" Hoseok said, with a shout of joy that he possibly got the story pretty accurate for a guess.

Of course, it was just a guess. And guesses aren't enough.

Well... Not in this case. The guess was their best shot.

" It's been around two weeks then. That sounds... pretty solid, actually. Good guess!" Yoongi cheered on Hoseok.

"Of course. Now, who do you suspect?" Hoseok asked, getting serious. His eyes stared into Yoongi's, which looked a bit surprised.

"H-Huh? Why are you... asking this so quickly? Why now?" Yoongi struggled to make a sentence as he stared into Hoseok's eyes.

"Oh, just asking!" Hoseok said, the mood lightning up and the tension loosening. "You didn't really think that I was serious, right?"

"No, no... It's just.. Why so sudden?"

"I mean... We have the storyboard, right?"

"Yeah, but.." Yoongi paused. "How are we supposed to know who it is based on just knowing what happened? We don't know who it is still! We don't know what they looked like, or how tall they are, or their body shape, because Taehyung just had to go fucking kill himself.."

There was a silence. Hoseok didn't know what to say, and Yoongi realised what he had said. "..But I think it's Jungkook."

"Huh? Why him?" Hoseok asks.

"Well... he has like big muscles and stuff, so he'd totally overpower Seokjin. He'd overpower any one of us, really. He must've got the upper hand and killed Seokjin." Yoongi said. "How about you?"

"Hmm.. smart. I thought.. it was Taehyung." Hoseok said, embarrassed.

"Taehyung? Well, that's a possibility.. He said he saw what happened, but for all we know he could've done it and then lied to us." Yoongi pondered, agreeing. "Is that why you think it was him?"

"Uhh.. yeah." Hoseok said. "How about we ask the others who they think it is? Let's get the hardest over with... Jimin."

"Sure.." They got up, walking to Jimin's door. "Jimin?"

"Go away! W-What are you doing here?" His shouts could be heard through the door. "You w-wouldn't understand!" Heavy breathing ensued from Jimin, who tried to calm himself down.

"I wanted to talk to you about who you think it is. Who you think murdered Seokjin.." Hoseok said. He wasn't sure if it would lead Jimin out, but surely...

The door clicked, and it slightly opened. "M-Murdered..?" Jimin peeked from the small crack in the now opened door. "What do you..?"

"You don't remember?" Hoseok asked.

"Oh, uh-hh.. I remember.."

"Then can we talk to you about it?-"

"You can't speak! You were the one who murdered Taehyung!" Jimin finally snapped, covering his ears. Yoongi realised that Jimin was acting weird. Way too weird. In his voice. In his eyes. His eyes were most important. They were dull. Nothing. But they also had fear. Delusional fear. Yoongi was way too focused on Jimin, when Hoseok interrupted.

"Wait, you know it was-"

"Just go. Ask Namjoon and Jungkook." Yoongi said. He needed to talk to Jimin about this. He had to know what was going on. After all, the murder won't solve itself. He glanced at Hoseok, sending him a signal from his eyes which led to the door of Jungkook. Hoseok nodded, getting the signal and walking away.

"I understand how you feel. Want to talk about it?" Yoongi asked, holding out a foot to block the door. "Come on. You know you want to talk about it."

Jimin slowly opened the door. Yoongi walked in, taking notice of how the room looked. The room was messed up, having everything been turned upside down and scattered. Writing was made and carved into the walls. Yoongi felt unsettled by all of it.

"Hey, umm.. Jimin?" Yoongi asked.

"Hmm?"

"You mind if I look around your room for a bit?" Yoongi asked.

"Okay.. sure.." Jimin said, sitting down in a corner.

Yoongi walked away, now standing in the middle of the room.

He decided to check the drawer first. He wasn't too interested in what was inside, but what was on top of it. "H-Huh?" It was a .. ritual type of stuff. Candles, consecrating tools, a knife... There was more, but the thing Yoongi was most creeped out about was the Pentacle in the middle. It had a dead rat in the middle, and it seemed like it was burnt.

"Oh, that's my ritual stuff. Trying to summon the souls of ones who need to be avenged, y'know.." Jimin added.

Yoongi was convinced Jimin was possessed by the devil. Sure, it was stupid, but even if he was an atheist, he certainly believed that Jimin had to be at least possessed or something. No way the real Jimin would do something like this. 'Man, he's fucking creepy.' He thought to himself. He stepped away from the Pentacle.

He decided to check the walls next. Making sure not to step on anything Jimin had scattered on the floor, he soon reached the wall.

It read many words, such as "Murderer" "I killed him" "I'm dead" "I'm sorry" and more.

Yoongi slowly turned his eyes to Jimin, turning around. His breath heavy as he stared into the eyes of Jimin. Was it really him? Or was it just him turning crazy? Jimin had sure turned delusional, but that was before Seokjin had died. Yoongi couldn't help but think "Is it him? It was really him?"

No, that was just the other side of Jimin talking. Ever since they met, Yoongi knew that Jimin had... "another side". Another side which led to him being like that. Something traumatic and he would snap. Jimin would try his best to hide it from the other members, but sometimes it'd slip out. Yoongi tried to help him, to cure him. Nothing worked. Yoongi just figured that it was the weirder side of him that was acting like this.

And as he walked over to Jimin, who was in the corner shaking and whispering to himself, he knew that was the truth. He knelt down, meeting Jimin's eyes. Despair. Despair filled his eyes, running back and forth as he shook and mumbled. It was at the time Yoongi realised that they were just.. always going to be in despair.

"Jimin. Jimin." Yoongi repeated. Jimin looked up, in response to his name.

"Who do you think murdered Seokjin?" Yoongi asked.

"Seokjin..? It was me.. It was me! Haha! I murdered him! Just sliced and diced him up!" Jimin loudly whispered.

"No, that's not.." Yoongi thought. The evidence... couldn't point to him. It was just Jimin talking crazy.

"No, wait, Jimin-"

"I did it! I did it!" Jimin yelped, holding his head in his arms. Yoongi realised at that moment Jimin was truly and painfully insane. His breaking point was long past. Yoongi got up, slowly walking backwards, Jimin following. He got up, breathing heavily and staring at Yoongi, who was absolutely terrified. Yoongi's body automatically froze, not knowing what to do.

You could call it a case of the "fight or flight" situation. Yoongi didn't know what to do. He wanted to escape, to forget it all, but he desperately needed answers.

Jimin lunged at him. He was scratching, biting, kicking, screaming, everything you could imagine. The screaming part concerned Yoongi to the max. Yoongi tried to push Jimin off, but when someone is almost the same height as you and they could easily headbutt you, it would be much of a challenge. But Jimin had more muscle, he was "stronger" somehow, in a sense. Maybe it was because Yoongi was the skinniest in the group, or maybe it was because Jimin was a good dancer and he had more skill.

Jimin clawed at Yoongi, specifically his face, which Yoongi had resorted to covering his face with his arms. Yoongi, who couldn't see anything, used his legs. He kicked Jimin in his legs, hoping he would come off. Jimin grabbed Yoongi's arms and started to twist them, in an attempt to get them off.

Yoongi, who was now aching in his arms, kicked Jimin again, hard. Jimin hissed, punching his face. Yoongi felt a bit dazed, but he wouldn't faint right there and then. He kicked Jimin, this time in the genitalia. Jimin immediately stopped, shouting as he was hurt.

Yoongi's vision was still blurry, and he felt a bit lightheaded, honestly. But he quickly got up and ran, shutting the door. He heaved, pressing his body against the door as Jimin banged the door, trying to get out. He held on with all his strength, and soon the bangs died down. He took a deep breath, and sighed.

He kinda wished that things would go back to normal, but...

After this, he could never go back.

Jungkook had the feeling that something was wrong. Although sometimes it was wrong, sometimes it was right. He ignored it, as usual.

He then heard a knock at his door, and went to open it, hiding the journal once again. "Oh, Hoseok!"

"Yeah, hey. I wanted to talk to you. Is it okay right now?" Hoseok asked. Jungkook nodded, opening the door to let him in. Hoseok sat down on the bed, the bed creaking a bit as he did so. Jungkook sat along with him, them now facing each other.

Jungkook took notice in Hoseok's hair. Wait, didn't it used to be a bit fluffy? He asked himself. It seemed a bit.. rigid.

"Did you get a haircut?"

"Oh, yeah. Namjoon gave me one. Why do you ask?" Hoseok asked.

"Oh, umm..." Jungkook paused. "Nothing."

"Okay, anyway.. Who do you blame for the murder?" Hoseok blurted.

Jungkook thought about it. "Jimin. It has to be him. Did you see him today? All knocked up and shit."

"Yeah, but.. if you think about it, he's always been that way." Hoseok said. "From the beginning, whenever something would happen, he would... be like that."

Hoseok stared directly into Jungkook's eyes. "Were you influenced by someone? Did Namjoon tell you something that made you think that decision?"

"What!? No, no. Nothing like that!" Jungkook blurted all of a sudden. "Seriously, I think it's him.''

"Oh.. well okay, that's all." Hoseok said, getting up. "I think I'll get going now, see you later!" Hoseok said, walking out and closing the door behind him.

Jungkook smiled, picking up the journal once again and continued to analyse. "Collar shirt.."

Hoseok closed the door and walked to Namjoon's room, and opened the door, seeing Namjoon sitting down. He sat down beside Namjoon, gaining his attention. "Hello, Namjoon.."

"Oh, hey Hoseok. What do you need?" Namjoon asked.

"I wanted to ask you who you think is the murderer." Hoseok said. Namjoon paused, thinking about it. He didn't really blame anyone, but...

"Jungkook. Seriously, that guy's got muscles. He could totally do it.." Namjoon replied. Hoseok nodded, in agreement? No, he was just taking in what he said. "Understandable.."

"Yeah. Is that all?" Namjoon asked.

Hoseok paused. He had remembered what he had asked Jungkook, but was now really the time to ask? Hoseok wasn't sure, because if he asked Namjoon, he was sure he'd deny it. But it was worth a try. "Did you convince Jungkook to think who it was?"

"Huh, what do you mean? Of course I didn't! Me and Jungkook's lives are different from each other, and there's no way I would manipulate him or anything!" Namjoon replied.

Hoseok took a shallow breath. "I wasn't.." Hoseok decided to just forget it. "That's all, I'll see you later, then." Hoseok waved to Namjoon as he left the room. He walked out, closing the door. The first thing he saw... was Yoongi.

He slowly walked over to Yoongi, and helped him up. "What happened to you?" Yoongi looked like he had seen a ghost. He breathed in and out deeply, then turned slightly to face Hoseok.

"Jimin's delusional." That's all Yoongi said, making Hoseok a bit confused and nervous at the same time. "So.. What do Namjoon and Jungkook think?"

"Namjoon thinks it's Jungkook, Jungkook thinks it's Jimin. Concluded." Hoseok answered. Yoongi let out an 'oh' as he nodded. They stood in silence for a little bit, not knowing what to do. "Umm... Now what?"

"Uh- Well..." Yoongi stared at the ground, trying to think of what to do. Hoseok waited patiently. It was one of the first times he's seen Yoongi not know what to do. Usually he'd know what to do anywhere, anytime. It did make sense, though. With all this happening, he couldn't help but understand what he was going through.

It sucked. Thinking that maybe, maybe everything was going to be fine, and then... Bam! It happens again. He hated that. Feeling like hope will come, and then despair comes and just... hits him and the others again. No matter where he looked, where he hid, despair was always current. But despair is a normal thing in life. Well.. at least for them.

"It's 8:00 pm... I think we should go to sleep." Yoongi concluded. Ah, so that's what he's doing. Although, it's not like sleeping will make them forget it, make it go away. "Huh. We took that long.."

Hoseok just walked away, going to his room. He layed in his bed, looking at his window. He realised that he hadn't went outside in a while. Ever since Seokjin had died, he hadn't.. He wasn't in the mood to go out, or do anything. He sighed, closing his eyes.

"Maybe tomorrow will be better, right?"

Jimin: "So... like, after I walked away from Seokjin I went to the kitchen and saw Taehyung and Hoseok arguing. I tried to like, stop them, but they didn't so I left them and went upstairs, where I saw Jungkook. We talked for a bit and then I left, going to my room. I just went on my phone for the rest of the time and showered until Hoseok had to come in and tell me about Seokjin's death. Huh. How tragic."

Jungkook: "There's nothing much I did. All I really did was play games the whole day. I went out once just to get another slice of cake, and all of a sudden everyone's mad and arguing. What a great day to be alive, huh? Couldn't say the same for Seokjin, though.."

Hoseok: "Today I bought a cake, a nice one. It was chocolate, but I made sure Jungkook covered that part. There was barely any chocolate yet, but Taehyung and I argued about it because he was allergic, but a little wouldn't hurt. Jimin tried to stop us but he ended up leaving, and after he did and Taehyung left I just went on my phone. Then, Namjoon texted me saying I had to check on Seokjin, so I did. That's when I found the body."

. "Reason" of Murder:

Jimin: "In the moment of anger, he would've murdered Seokjin because he was controlling to him."

Jungkook: "Jealousy of Seokjin hogging Namjoon. Also, he could easily murder anyone and get away with it."

Hoseok: "He was "in the room last"."

Yoongi: "He knows a lot about murder cases, so it'd be easy for him to commit one and hide it\get away with it."

Taehyung: "He would murder again."

Namjoon: "He was jealous."

. Alibis [Everyone]:

Jungkook, Taehyung: Playing video games at the time of murder. Did not hear anything at time.

Hoseok: In the kitchen, with his phone. Namjoon texted him to open Seokjin's door, and is also when discovery of body was made.

Namjoon: On a walk, gone for 6 hours.

Yoongi: ?

Jimin: ?

. Jungkook's Account: "Because if I murdered Seokjin [which I didn't], why would I need a lint roller to clean my hair off the floor? Remember? I used to share a room with Seokjin. Moved out a week before Seokjin died. My hair is guaranteed to be there forever, unless.. No point in removing the hair anyway."

Information\Notes: Taehyung
