Jungkook is currently sitting in his bed, sulking. He's still sad about everything that happened. On a night like this, when everything's quiet and there's no one to comfort you, everything suddenly becomes more dull, more sad. More Jungkook stares at pictures of the other members, before any of this happened. They looked so happy, so hopeful...

It's something Jungkook has hidden for a long time. He liked to have pictures of them, for his own comfort. Sure, it was a bit creepy, but he felt that having the pictures meant that their presence was always with him. He liked that. He liked knowing that he could looked at them anytime he wanted to, with pictures. He liked that if he ever missed them, he wouldn't have to bother them in real life.

He turns his eyes to the clock, which reads "3:30 am". He sighs. He hasn't gotten much sleep, waking up every hour or so. At 1:00am, he just decided to give up and stay awake. He puts his phone away, shutting it off and putting it on the counter. He then hears a knock on the door, getting up and opening it.

"Oh, hey.." Jungkook said, letting them in. Jungkook sits back and relaxes on his bed once again, grabbing his pillow and hugging it tightly.

"Listen, I need your help..."

"Fo what? Do you need something?" Jungkook asked. He wasn't sure why they were here, awake, with him. He focused once again on the person in front of him. The person coughed and stared at Jungkook.

"I need you to assist me in a 'murder'." The person said, fidgeting with the bedsheets, keeping their grip on them.

Jungkook was completely shocked. He stared at the person, eyes bulging and mouth open agape. "What?! You're not bringing me into this!"

"No, No! All you have to do is... " The person then went closer, whispering into his ear. Jungkook listened to it all, nodding as he gained new information of what was going to happen. As the person leaned back again to their sitting position, Jungkook couldn't help but feel unease as he settled into the plan. 3 steps. 3 steps he could easily do, right? Tensions high, he waved goodbye to the person and laid in his bed once again.

He closed his eyes, sleep soon taking over him..

Yoongi sighed, opening his journal again and trying to see what hidden clue there was. He had resorted to secretly figuring it out himself. Whoever murdered Seokjin was going to pay the price.

Yeah, maybe it was a bit selfish in his opinion, but they were clueless! No one could solve this mystery but him. At first, he had a lot of trouble. He had to resort to calling the police about it and telling them everything. They were currently helping with Yoongi, but the others didn't know. The others only thought that the police were there just to collect the evidence.

The police had told him to tell them anything he could find that could help in solving the murder. They were both working as hard as they could, but yet they still couldn't figure out who it was. Maybe he just needed a little more time.

He definitely needed more time. With Taehyung's sudden death, things slowed down and the focus was lost. Yoongi felt stressed. His breaking point wasn't too far, but he needed to control himself. He needed to stay strong, for the others. He couldn't be weak, or else the others would worry. Yoongi didn't want that. He had to make sure they never knew.

Yeah, that sounded right. He got up and closed his book, about to fall in bed, but then...

A knock could be heard at his door. He sighed, getting up and opening the door.

"..Police?" Yoongi questioned. Without warning, they barged in his room, pinning him to the wall. Yoongi kicked the officer in the knee, getting out of his grasp and making a run for it. He was then jumped by many officers. Yoongi groaned, he suddenly felt confused, staring up at the ceiling as he blanked out for a second. What was happening.. to him? All of a sudden he felt tired, his vision going black. He slumped in the officer's arms, going limp...

"Take him to the station."

Yoongi woke up in a daze, eyes blinking to adjust to the sudden bright light above him. He looked around, his vision fuzzy. Where... Where was he? The walls were a musty gray, the floor was dusty, and overall the scenery he was in wasn't the greatest. He tried to get up, but the handcuffs restrained him. He tilted his head up to the person sitting right in front of him. "What?"

The police officer stared him down, from head to toe. He then stared at Yoongi's face, giving him a meek smile. "Hi, I'm Officer Meekins. You're under arrest on suspicion of the murder of Kim Seokjin, and some other things. I assume you know good, and well about his murder case. Well, you seem to know too much, and that's why you're here!"

Yoongi groaned, his body aching and his mood decreasing. This is exactly why he didn't want to tell anyone about the things he does. He tells them, and then he gets deemed as suspicious. When he doesn't overreact and be dramatic to things he sees as small, he is deemed mysterious and emotionless. He hates it. He's just himself, he's just who he is. That's the things that make Yoongi closed off to others.

"- And I'll go and call our chief right now! Stay right here!" Mr. Meekins says, leaving the room. It leaves Yoongi in an unexplainable anger and frustration. He doesn't want to be here. He doesn't want to go to prison for something they can't even confirm. He still remembers that night. Last night, to be exact. It's burned into his mind forever. The police officers, his struggle, the horrified faces of the others... Everything. Everything he was trying to prevent, and not happen has happened. His head snaps up as he hears the door slam open.

Okay, now he feels really nervous all of a sudden. He hears the footsteps, their presence, the way they breathe and the way they're moving, and it doesn't feel good. The guy in front of him makes him tremble a bit. Maybe... Maybe he shouldn't have gotten the police so involved in this. No, he should've definitely kept the police out of this. Now he's reading the signs and it's not good.

Signs... It reminds him of Hoseok, who does that astrology bullshit. He hates how he misses him. He desperately wants to go back home. He shakes his head, and focuses on the man in front of him. "Hello, I'm Chief Damon Gant. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am here to talk to you about if you want an attorney or not for your trial in a few days."

Yoongi is beyond shock. Why is he going to court?! Why aren't they questioning the other 4 people that were there the time of the murder? He groans. This is so useless, so stupid, so pathetic... "Why the fuck am I going to court, sir?" He adds the sir last second as to seem polite, and to cover up that he swore in front of police officials. The guy doesn't seem to notice, though, grinning and talking with his colleague.

He wants to slap that grin right off his face, but with the handcuffs he can't. Why is he smiling, in a situation like this? His small frame shivers as he glares at him. Was it just him or did it get so cold all of a sudden? The chief turns back to Yoongi, and...

"You're under the arrest of suspicion of murder, assault, withholding evidence, and attempted murder." Damon Gant says, leaning back in his chair.

What? No, this can't be right... "Attempted murder? I thought Taehyung was..." Yoongi asks, but is interrupted.

"No, we're talking about Park Jimin here. Park Jimin has died. You initially had three charges, but someone reported his death at 8:30 this morning and how you seemed suspicious."

Yoongi's shocked, his eyes bulging and his teeth gritting. "D-Died...?" He stutters. No, he... He failed. He was supposed to protect the members from another death, but...

"Jimin.. He's dead?" Yoongi asked, his composed structure breaking for the first time, in a long time. He stared at the chief, wide eyed and confused. "What do you mean, dead? He was alive just last night!" He tried to reason with him, but he just looked away.

"Yes, yes. It's a very tragic event, you're lucky that you're innocent until proven guilty. You're getting a trial soon." The chief said, dismissing him. Yoongi sighed. He just wanted to go home and end it all. He was tired, but he was supposed to be "strong". Huh. Physically strong, emotionally weak.

Hoseok woke up from his bed, stretching his muscles as he took a deep breath of fresh air. He opened his eyes, grumbling as he finally got up. He read the time. 8:25 am. Today, he was going to try and solve everything. Just like any normal day, of course. He stumbled to hold his balance as he took a step forward, clumsily sliding through the doorframe.

He looked around, trying to see if he could find anyone. Yoongi had been arrested last night, and it hurted him to no end. Was he going to be set free? Was he going to prison? He knew that Yoongi would never, ever do something like that. Sure, he was a bit cold and closed off sometimes, but he wouldn't kill anyone... Right?

He took some steps across the hallway, approaching Jimin's door. He just wanted to talk, that's all. He grabbed the handle, hesitating. He turned the handle and opened the door, finding..

A dead Jimin. Hoseok, wide eyed and shaking, let out a petrified scream. He took a step back, his head hitting the smaller door frame. He whimpers, rubbing the back of his head. When he takes his hand back, all he can see is blood. He feels sick to his stomach. With one last effort, his vision goes black and he falls to the ground, fainting.

His hearing slowly fades, hearing fast footsteps and frantic, panicked screams and movements. All Hoseok could do is lay there as he fully passes out. Meanwhile, the rest of the remaining members ran in, one by one. witnessing Jimin sitting against the wall, presumed dead. Namjoon let out a sigh, trying to stay as calm as possible, while Jungkook screamed, covering his face. It was like they didn't notice Hoseok on the ground beside them.

The scene unfolding before them was horrifying. Jimin was sitting, lying against the wall. In the exact middle of the room, his bed and closet on the right and his drawer full of his interest of occult stuff on the left. His face seemed so calm, so peaceful. But yet it was pale, maybe even a bit blue. There were signs of bruises on his neck and his face. There was no blood, he was happy about that, but there were hard purple bruises. It looked terrifying.

Namjoon walked over to Jimin. "What a shame. It seems another one has perished to death." He reached out his hand to grab Jimin, but Jungkook pulled him back, stopping him. Namjoon cocked his head to Jungkook, confused. "What?"

"Okay, first of all, you're way too calm about this. Secondly, I can check. No worries." Jungkook persisted, pushing him away. Namjoon stumbled back, almost losing his footing. He grabbed onto a drawer in time, things falling. He glanced over at a note. "Plan." He read the one word. Wait, a plan..? Namjoon kept his composure and shoved it in his pocket, for later.

Meanwhile Jungkook was crouched over, feeling for a heartbeat. He pressed his hand against Jimin's chest, bringing his head down to feel his heartbeat. "Nothing... There's nothing." He said. Namjoon looked over Jungkook's shoulder. "He looks like he's breathing. What do you mean?"

Jungkook can feel his heart racing, frightened that maybe, maybe he's really alive, or really dead? "No, I'm positive. He's totally dead, one hundred percent." He says, with a confirming tone. Jungkook gets up, stares down Jimin's body up and down, and pauses for a second. Namjoon is behind Jungkook, a bit freaked out about all this. Jungkook speaks up, again. "It's like something is out to get us. Like, bad luck."

"Yeah, can agree. Also... where's Hoseok?" Namjoon asks, looking around. "We heard him, but he isn't-" He pauses, looking behind him and seeing Hoseok collapsed on the ground. "-Oh my god we forgot about Hoseok!" They both run over and shake Hoseok. Namjoon checks for breathing, which is confirmed. "He's passed out. He seems to be bleeding from the back of his head. Should we take him to the hospital?" Namjoon asks. Jungkook nods, and they both carry Hoseok into their car.

Jungkook grabs his phone, making a call to the police, telling them everything. As they get in and buckle their seatbelts, the car is silent. They were too worried to even speak, and as they left the house and headed for the hospital, the silence and tension was awkward. They kept on glancing in the mirror, to see if Hoseok came back to his senses [He didn't]. And they arrived at the hospital just as soon as they left the house.

Jungkook grabbed one arm and Namjoon grabbed the other, dragging an unconscious Hoseok inside the hospital. They received many glares and stares and whispers, to which Jungkook glared and stared and whispered back. They reached the front desk, where the lady looked concerned. "How may I help you?"

"Hi, yes. Uh, our friend here is passed out and bleeding from his head, can you help us?" Namjoon asked. The lady took one look at Hoseok and immediately got up, calling some paramedics who brought out a stretcher for Hoseok. They strapped him on and left, leaving Jungkook and Namjoon to stare at the doors where they left.

The lady looked back to them, with a smile. "He'll be okay. You guys can leave now, if anything we will call you, okay?" They nodded, exchanging phone numbers and then leaving the building. On the way back, they talked about what they should do next.

"Wait, didn't we leave Jimin there?" Jungkook asked, scared. Namjoon frowned, glancing back at Jungkook.

"Yeah, but Yoongi doesn't even know about this, right?" Namjoon replies. "Let's get Yoongi first."

"Okay." Jungkook nodded, and with that they headed off to the place Yoongi was at.

Meanwhile Yoongi was sitting outside the courtroom, awaiting his trial. In his opinion, he thought that the trial was pointless. He didn't need a trial. He didn't do anything. Not any of it, nothing. He didn't hire an attorney because he could just defend himself. Lawyers were stupid, anyway. They could never prove your innocence. Well, except a select two.

He sighed. He needed to get out of this, and fast. Where was Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jungkook when he needed them? They were probably frolicking off, enjoying life and shit. Actually, maybe not so. With the death of Jimin, it just seemed pointless now. Death after death, it was like it was coordinated. Maybe the killer already died. Maybe it was Jimin all along. Maybe they were feeling bad for nothing.

But then why would Jimin kill Taehyung, his best friend? Maybe there was an accomplice, and to spite Jimin they killed Taehyung, which resulted in Jimin dying to avenge Taehyung. Maybe Jimin and Taehyung worked together, and when Taehyung committed suicide Jimin couldn't take it.

There were so many possibilities. So many probabilities. Everything was a confusing, hot mess. Yoongi just wished that it would end. He groaned as his hands became sore from staying in the same position for hours. He didn't expect the trials to be this long. It wasn't like any of the games he played where he was maybe an attorney, or someone in a killing game, or just...

"Hey, there's someone who wants to bail you out." He heard a voice. He looked up to see an officer he had never seen before. "Follow me." Yoongi and the officer went to a meeting place. He sat down on the rusty, beat up chair and looked in front of him.

..Namjoon and Jungkook. They were in front of him right now. Yoongi could question why they looked so shaken up, but he didn't. "How the fuck are you guys gonna bail me out of this trial?"

"By paying a huge sum fee? I don't know, I wasn't the one to put you in here!" Jungkook immediately blurted, with a demanding tone. "Namjoon did!"

If eyes had lasers, they'd be frying Namjoon's head the way Yoongi was staring at him, mouth agape and in complete shock. Namjoon glared at Jungkook, who just shrugged. "I thought you were suspicious, so I called the police."

"How am I suspicious? That doesn't make any sense!" Yoongi shouted, the restrains keeping him in place. If he could just move right now, he would box Namjoon in the face.

"Well, you knew everything, everything about what happened. You had so much evidence, you knew what you were doing... I don't know how to explain, but it seemed you knew too much. So I took safety measures." Namjoon said, with a straight face. "By the way, you know Jimin's dead, right?"

"Yeah, I know.."

"And Hoseok passed out, hit his head, and now he's in the hospital." Namjoon added that last part, bracing for an outburst. He suspected that it would happen when he told Yoongi about it. It was something that he was used to for a long time. Whenever someone would get bad news, they'd usually freak out over it.

Yoongi is usually one of them. "What?! He's in the hospital?!" He stood up from his chair, knocking it over. Through the window he could see Jungkook's bored expression and the determination is Namjoon's eyes. Yoongi must've looked stupid compared to them, freaking out, wide eyed and face red. His calm composure was slowly bursting into flames.

Jungkook spoke up. "Man, you're so worked up over this. We literally left Jimin at home, you know? Then these people came and took the body away." He said, in an overindulged tone, staring at Yoongi with a "What are you looking at?" expression. "Hey, Namjoon! Let's get him out already, I'm so bored in here!"

They had to wait for Yoongi's trial to end, and both Namjoon and Jungkook were nervous, shaking. They hoped that Yoongi would be found not guilty. They waited for what seemed like hours, and soon enough Yoongi walked out of the courtroom. As they left Namjoon and Jungkook could feel Yoongi's eyes on them. On the way back, the car was silent. The tension in the air was loud. Yoongi spoke up first. "I.. could've gotten another thing on my record, you know?"

"Yeah, but... We just really suspected you." Jungkook said, in a nasally tone. He scrunched his face at the thought of Yoongi being a murderer.

"So you decide to gang up on me?" Yoongi asked, glancing in the mirror and catching eye contact with Namjoon. Yoongi looked away, and Namjoon focused his eyes on the trees outside.

"Well... Yeah, kinda." Jungkook said, shrugging his shoulders as he turned the car, backing into the driveway. "We're home."

Namjoon stopped the car, taking off his seatbelt and stepping out of the car first. He grabbed his keys, his hands sweating as he shakily opened the door. This was... bizzare. Insane. Deaths after deaths. It was like despair was out to get them. He silently laughed, but out of spite. He kept a silent face, taking out the key and holding the door for Yoongi and Jungkook. He then stepped into the house.

The atmosphere in the house felt... different. He certainly felt it, and it made him feel a bit uncomfortable, really. The faint smells of the house were still there, but there was a presence that overpowered it all. Was it fear? Was it agony? Despair? No. He shook his head, sighing. Blood.

The smell of blood was starting to make him nauseous. It was faint, the strongest point of smell was obviously in Seokjin's room. He still remembered the day. His blood was everywhere. Honestly, he still didn't know how they cleaned it all off to this day. 'Hoseok was lucky he wasn't here, or else he would freak out.' He thought to himself.

He glanced as Yoongi and Jungkook stepped up the stairs, them too feeling the same. He walked along with them, keeping a close eye on them. He could see Yoongi trying to open the door, the door not budging. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Jungkook glance at something in his pocket. He put it back, instead taking out a lockpick.

"How do you know it's locked?" Yoongi said, looking behind him. Jungkook held up the lockpick.

"It's what I suspected. Seeing you try and budge open a door that's locked is pretty funny. And stupid."

"Hey, fuck off with that, man." Yoongi said, cheeks going slightly red. Jungkook giggled. "But we had to get in, so I helped out. I just knew in my head that it's locked. I don't know. Why do you ask me? Oh wait. Hey, this reminds me of Seokjin's death when you and that hope dude couldn't get in. Seriously, you guys were such nutcases. He's always talking to me about his hope in this shit, ahaha!" Jungkook rambled, opening the door.

Namjoon could tell Yoongi was not happy about what Jungkook said. The hurt on his face showed it clearly. He decided to just ignore what Jungkook was saying and entered the room, practically dragging a miserable Yoongi and a rambling Jungkook inside the room. There was even less evidence than the last death, and since the body was gone it was going to be even harder.

Before they searched, they needed the autopsy report. It was a crucial thing they had overlooked in the past. When they left the police station, they had given it to them. Yoongi grabbed it out of his pocket. "Alright, let's read this." He opened up the file paper, skimming through to find the autopsy report. They read the page together, Namjoon and Jungkook peering over Yoongi's shoulders.

"Cause of death: ? Choke marks found on victim's neck. Signs of a struggle were present, as the victim had a bruise on their face when inspected." Yoongi slowly read out. He groaned, almost crumpling the paper. "Damn it! They don't even fucking know what the cause of death was!" He sighed, taking a deep breath and putting the file papers back in his pocket. Namjoon and Jungkook looked nervously at each other.

"Let's just try to see if we can figure it out. Maybe he choked himself with his bare hands? He probably punched his face as punishment because he believes that he was the cause of Taehyung's suicide. He's crazy, man." Namjoon said, doubt clouding his mind. He wasn't really sure either. Anyway, he looked around at the two, who had a questionable look on their faces.

"So you're telling me he commited suicide. Like Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, confusion filling his face. Namjoon nodded. "Well, you're going to have to prove it! Let's investigate." They then split up, looking around the room. Namjoon on one side, Jungkook on the other. And Yoongi was just stuck in the middle, like always.

Yoongi stared at the place presumed to be where Jimin was found. He hadn't seen his body, but Namjoon, Jungkook, and the police did say that it was somewhere around the place he was standing at, so he was sure he was standing somewhere close to where Jimin had died. Or was found. Either way, he was currently looking for any evidence that he could find within the room. He had to see through the lines, outside the box and into the creative world.

He first started by visually outlining Jimin's body position in which he was laying. Sitting, of course. But was he slumped? Or leaned back? He was having a hard time figuring that out, but for now it would have to wait. He got onto the floor to see if there was anything he could see. There weren't any footprints, or hair, or anything. He groaned, getting up. This was going to be very, very hard. How would they solve this if they didn't even have the body?

He decided to give up on looking where he was and decided to look somewhere else. He glanced to his right, where Jungkook was.

Jungkook was staring down at the bed, looking through to see if anything was there. He fumbled with the bedsheets, peering in to see if there was anything. Nothing. He dropped down onto his knees, looking under the bed. As he didn't see anything, he got up. "I'm going to look elsewhere for some clues. I'll be back soon." And with that Jungkook left the room.

Meanwhile, Namjoon was taking something out of his pocket, opening the paper up. Yoongi stormed over to him, beside him.

"Why do you have this?" Yoongi demanded, glaring at him. Namjoon coughed, fumbling with his collar and speaking up. "Explain."

"Oh, I had found this earlier and put it in my pocket." He said, fixing his collar and coughing again. "So what?"

"Well, why was it in your pocket then?" Yoongi was asking questions left and right, like an interrogator. But he had to know. He has to know everything at all costs. He has to be one step above everyone else, always.

"Simple. I had gotten distracted with other things, so naturally I forgot about it." Namjoon said calmly, staring into Yoongi's eyes the whole time. Yoongi's face was full with frustration, silently dying inside. He wasn't going to get anything out of Namjoon, was he? Namjoon gave the paper to Yoongi, who gladly took it. He slowly opened it, nervous about what was inside. He could see that Namjoon was awaiting.

"Dear to whoever reads this," He read, his eyes scanning the paper immediately. "I have written this note to tell you that I am.. commiting suicide?!" Yoongi said, mouth agape and in pure shock. He wasn't expecting it to be suicide. But could this letter be plausible? Or was it just another red herring?

"Yes, it's me, Jimin. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused. I won't cause any more trouble to you, I promise. I only wish that you find out Seokjin's murderer. This is a suicide note because I am committing suicide. I'm sorry." Yoongi read out. Namjoon's face turned to horror. Yoongi trembled, his body shaking and his head down. 'Why, why did Jimin have to commit suicide? I- We could've helped him...' Yoongi thought to himself.

"He committed suicide..? Is there any other proof that he did?" Yoongi asked, staring at Namjoon. Just then, Jungkook walked in, sighing.

Jungkook shook his head, sighing. "I couldn't find anything else." Namjoon nodded, agreeing. Yoongi glared at the two. It felt like it was only him doing all the work. There was even less evidence than last time! Yoongi looked at the two. Namjoon could feel his stares intensely.

"Is that all you guys found? Geez, you all are pathetic! Useless!" Yoongi burst out, shaking his arms around and turning red. Jungkook glared at him with a mad expression, walking over to Yoongi. He grabbed the collar of Yoongi's shirt and dragged Yoongi close to him. Jungkook glared at Yoongi with fury in his eyes, and for once Yoongi actually looked a bit terrified.

"You don't get to talk to us like that! You're being rude and disrespectful!" Jungkook screamed in Yoongi's face. Yoongi looked terrified but remained calm, pushing Jungkook away. He glared at Jungkook's eyes with a glare that could make anyone submit in fear. Not Jungkook, though. Jungkook was done with his bullshit.

And without Yoongi even knowing, Jungkook had pulled his arm back and delivered a sucker punch to Yoongi's temple. Yoongi stumbled back, gasping to remain his balance. He hissed as he felt the sharp, aching pain in his head. In a moment of anger, Yoongi ran over to Jungkook and kicked him. Hard.

This was the start of a fight that was escalating. And Namjoon could do nothing about it.

I just went on my phone for the rest of the time and showered until Hoseok had to come in and tell me about Seokjin's death. Huh. How tragic."

Jungkook: "There's nothing much I did. All I really did was play games the whole day. I went out once just to get another slice of cake, and all of a sudden everyone's mad and arguing. What a great day to be alive, huh? Couldn't say the same for Seokjin, though.."

Hoseok: "Today I bought a cake, a nice one. It was chocolate, but I made sure Jungkook covered that part. There was barely any chocolate yet, but Taehyung and I argued about it because he was allergic, but a little wouldn't hurt. That's when I found the body."

Moved out a week before Seokjin died. My hair is guaranteed to be there forever, unless.. No point in removing the hair anyway."

Taehyung:

Jimin: "I had just woken up from my sleep, and went to Taehyung's room. There, I found him dead, pale and creepily calm. In a sitting position with arms slumped on his side and legs out in a bended position."
