Pulse Towards Tomorrow - Trails of Cold Steel Opening.
In the opening where the device open and color orbs of red, blue, green, brown, black, yellow-white. Two girls. Two boys. Another two pairs of blues, another two pair of girls, and finally two pairs of boys who stood behind each other as their eyes are closed then both open their eyes, and then one slash and then other slash as well. Then the scene of the railroad trains begin to zoom out and going upward and view a red city. The title of Trails of cold steel has emerged.

A scene where a young man with unkempt dark hair, usually with a blue tint, and fuchsia eyes facing sideways with a blade in his hands as he is training.

Next show another young man with silver hair who was sitting on a tree branch as the wind blew and look to the sky. Next was a blonde girl shooting arrows at the target for practice as she smiled in the end. Next are two boys. One with long brown hair and the other is a short hair orange smiling at your view.

Next scene was a young man with blonde hair walking the halls passing by another boy with green hair and glasses holding a book while glaring. Next scene outside at a building was a blue hair girl holding a great sword and sleeping on the bench was a girl with silver hair. Then she woke up.

The next scene jumping was a girl with violet/pink hair walking by a black cat with purple fur as well. The next scene shows a Silver hair boy sitting down and next to him are three people. A girl with brown hair, A girl with purple hair, and a young man with brown hair. The next scene show a woman with long secise hair tied up and winking at you after she slam many papers at her desk.

The next scene revealed a map of the country where a yellow right was speeding fast on the railroad. The next scene shows two girls. One is a golden blonde and the other is black hair. And next scene again was the railroad tracks as the yellow light fast travel speed but three was shown heading to a different direction. Next was an officer woman with light blue hair commanding a group of soldiers.
The next scene was shown a city of green color and the scene take off to a young man wearing green attire as well as two butlers bowing to him and standing by his side.

The next scene shown in the night of the forest was airships flying through the forest and rise up and closely was three people. A tall muscle man. A man with glasses. And the other is a woman with an eye patch.
Sora ni kodama-suru ashita he no kodou
Then the next scene is shown of an undead dragon's foot and then it rise and roared as two girls and three boys stood brought their weapons and ready to fight. Then next scene a building exploded. Next scene was an airship armada. Next scene of a wall being broken by a girl with light blue hair and mysterious robotic machinery punching the wall.

Then shown at a red large building in the sunset

and there stood there was a middle-age man smirking.

Next scene shown an emblem of a horse and next scene shown of a tank. Then the city and then giant humanoid weapons and somewhere in the city.
Kaze ga utaidasu ashita he no kodou
A glowing bluebird with magic dust as it landed in the arms of a mysterious young woman as the bird grow larger and look evil. Next show was a mysterious person with a helmet.

Next scene shown somewhere underground was a glowing orb then shown a sea of sword on the ground and outside swirling was a black mist forming and a giant monster-like being roared as it's black mist rise up then the scene of a school of the young man. The dark hair young man look up and his right eye shown of a shadow of a mysterious machine. Next scene in a dorm room is where the silver-haired young man open his hand as he look at the goldening glowing orb that emerges from right his hand. And on his bed was two creatures. One is a Hamster and the other is a slime with a face.

Next scene shown was a red airship gliding in the sunset. The next scene reveals an emblem of a horn lion. Then take them to a flag of the horn lion. Then shown the girl with violet-pink hair holding a staff by next to her is the girl with silver hair sitting while the young man holding a spear in his hand over his shoulder and next to him was the blue hair girl placing her greatsword on her hip.
The next scene show the same location of a green hair young man holding a gun at his shoulder, A blonde hair young man looking at the side. The orange hair young man holding a staff. And the blonde girl holding a bow. And in front of them was the dark hair young man and the silver hair young man smiling holding the two flags of the horn lion and zoom to the sky.
-The Story Begins-
Somewhere in a large plain land. There was a boy. at the age of seven was on the plains in the middle of nowhere. Then the sounds of footstep was heard from the scene and there was someone wearing a cloak, looking down at the boy sleeping in the plain on daylight. The Next scene was somewhere else. A log cabin. But outside was a Hammock. Surrounding by vast grasslands. Sleeping on the Hammock was the young boy. The young boy slowly open his eyes and revealed his eyes are purple. The boy then see the clear sky.
"Ughh…" The slowly got up as he look around the scenery. "Huh?"
"You're awake."
The boy turn to the old man who was cooking a meal. Then begin to bring the plate over to him as well as water. "Good afternoon young man."
The boy title his head. "Who… Who are you?"
"I am Makarov. Your caretaker." Answered the old man.
"Maka…rov? Where am I?" The boy asked
"You're in Nord Highland." Makarov answered
"Nord… Highland? Where is that?"
"You have much to learn young man. All will be explain. Right now. Eat. You must be hungry." Makarov said as he sit down.
The boy look at the foot and it was meat with carrots. He begin to take a bite out of it and then eventually. He engulfs it.
"Thank you." The boy politely bow.
"No need. Tell me… you have a name?" Makarov asked
"My name…" The boy look down and think slowly. Then look up at the sky. "Levi… Levi… Sullivan."
"A pleasure to meet you Levi Sullivan. Today, you will be in my care. The world can be a harsh place. Even outside of Nord Highland. There is a lot you must learn young child."
"A lot… to learn…" Levi trailed off.
"Yes. You must learn to fight and defend for yourself. As well as magic. And many other you must learn in this world. But first. Let me get you some clothes." Makarov said.
-Three years-
Levi was singing in the Church in the town of Saint-Arkh. Levi enjoys singing and playing his Lyre. He was also learning in Sunday school. Levi enjoy making friends there. And after Sunday School. His "Grandfather" pick him off and begin to head somewhere.
"Did you have fun, Levi?" Makarov asked
"Yeah! It was a lot of fun. So Grandfather. Where are we going next?" Levi smiled and asked
"We're going to Legram and I will teach you about the legend there."
-Arriving at Legram-
It took about 5 days on Horseback. Well, Levi was riding the horse while Makarov just follow him. Anyway, Levi was awe when looking at Legram. Makarov begin to tell Levi about a lot of things for his brain to absorb. Soon sunset begin to arrive. And then soon. They begin to leave so head back to Nord Highland. As Levi was preparing his horse as his "grandfather" help him climb up.
"Alright, Levi. I'll catch up with you shortly. You know where to go, right?" Makarov asked
"Yep. Of course. But are you sure?" Levi asked in concern.
"I'm certain. Now ride along now."
Levi nodded then begin to gallop away. As Makarov see Levi going ahead for now. Makarov turn his head and give a sharp glare looking at a direction. And then begin to walk away.
And zoom out. There was a mysterious stranger in silver armored who is standing over the building where no one is looking at it.
"The elderly man has noticed me. Giving me a sharp warning through his glaze. But what concerns me is the boy who rode off. That boy… I sense tremendous power coming from him. Almost like Holy. What is he… could he be…"
7 years later
Levi was 17 years old now. His hair extended to his shoulder and he looks more mature now. Levi has been training by Makarov his past life and explore most of Erebonia as well. Training, exploring, Common Knowledge. He wondered so much. He always live a Shelter life in Nord but frees to explore as long as he doesn't go to the location he cannot go there. While his curiously gets the better of him. He always gets caught. During those years. Levi was already continuing with his training. Becoming more skilled with the Glaive on foot and on horseback along with Archery. And gain new skills as well. One like listening to the wind like those who live in the plain. Because of that. And with practice. He completely aim a bullseye on the target. Even moving targets. Makarov's rigorous training regimen was completely hard as hell. But because of that training. Levi became a stronger young man with virtue. His attacks are strong, swift, graceful, flexible. Fought countless monsters during the years. Yet even he had my downsides and terror. Even scars on his body. His arms, chest, legs. It was painful but this is proof of my manhood. Yet he still want to get stronger. Honestly… both education and battle experiences were large work his whole life. Makarov told me that even Jaegers do this kind of training every day. Levi asks if he's one or he was. He answered none. And claim to be a formal combat instructor but retired. But he wasn't always alone. He has magical familiars. A Hamster familiar and a Slime. The adorable little slime and Hamster who are capable of human speech.
The young man name Levi still wondered to this very day. And how come he is always isolated from the world? He desires to visit places with Makarov because of Common sense and Sunday school but… actually, there are a lot of questions. Who is he? And how come the world has magic and no one knows about it? Well, Makarov taught him that no one in the world can use magic because they lost the teaching of magic and they've forgotten it. So only he and him are the only one who are capable of wielding magic. but in truth. Theren't weren't the only one. There are different people in secret who can use magic. Lost to time. Levi understands because people will panic because if he use magic, it would leave a shock and no one can use magic, let alone him. So maybe that's why he's isolated from the rest of the world? But like to see what the world has to offer. Someday he can.
The next day. Makarov took him to Heimdallr, the Vermilion capital. While he studying the information Makarov beat it to him in his brain. He was happy but has learned a lot. He is right about nobles around this empire. Many are Putrid. And also learn about the Orbal revolution and learn typing from Orbal computers for education. Still. He was able to enjoy it for the time being visiting the other cities when he was little. And learn in the Sunday school there are 7 elements in the world. The main elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind while the upper Elements are Time, Space, and Mirage. His training allows him to sense many things within the upper elements and other magical forces. Makarov train Levi hard yet this proves to be useful. But Levi is always with Makarov. And now, both Levi and Makarov is heading to Mater park because I'm going to perform there as Levi requested Makarov. Levi was singing a beautiful song called Beauty and the Beast. It was quite popular. Some even look for me because the song would be used for the Opera house. Even recruit him. From what I've heard. Of course, there are some who have also been heard some even tried to take credit. They end up being punished by Makarov and Levi. Now then, While Levi was singing, Suddenly a gunshot is heard and that stop his singing as he turn to the direction and then see a group of robbers was being tailed by a group of soldiers in uniforms and the robbers are heading towards the park. The people panicked and ran away as Levi sighed.
"Master, may I?" Levi asked
"You may but don't kill them." Makarov said.
And then Levi brought out his Glaive and then spin it and then throws a large rotating way in a straight line. It strike at the bandits with a strong blow and they were on their knees and some even collapse. The Glaive return to his hand and he put it away. Soon the robbers were arrested. And then one officer approached and thank Levi for helping apprehend the thieves. Levi replied it was nothing. And he joke that they did ruin his performance. As the soldier left. Just as they begin to head out.
"That is quite the impressive display young man."
And then came forward was a tall man with violet eyes. His long hair worn loosely to his shoulders, and wears a fancy white coat with blue stripes and a red neck tie scarf. He wears green trousers and knee-high light brown boots.
"Oh thank you. Sorry that the show was ruin by robbers, though." Levi replied
"Indeed my friend. Hearing that beautiful Lyre reminds me of another beautiful melody that whispers to my ears of love. But I'm also impressed with your skill with the spear. You must be strong aren't you?"
"Yeah. But I still wish to be stronger still."
"Oh? Whatever for?"
"Well for… huh…" Levi begin to think. "Well for self-defense is one thing but… the rest are a blank actually."
"We should be leaving now." Makarov said.
"Oh, okay… well, goodbye Mr…" Levi trailed off.
"Please call me Olivert. And if you wish to get stronger… I know a way I can help." Olivert introduces himself.
"How?" Levi asked
"Tell me. Do you know a prestigious Academy call Thors?"
"As in Thors Military Academy?" Makarov asked as he looks interested.
"The very same. I have a friend there who can help out with that." Olivert replied with a smile.
"Thors… Thors… isn't that the Elite Academy to teach warfare?" Levi asked
"Yep. But it's more than just teaching Warfare. It's also a place where dreams come true! I went there and so did many other people such as the royal family." Olivert smiled
"I see…" Levi titled his head
"Hmm… you said your name was Olivert, yes… as in Olivert Lenhiem?" Makarov asked
"Who?" Levi asked
"Ah, I see you're a fellow fan. It's pleasure. And you are correct my good sir." Olivert smiled.
"Hmm… you do look the part… yep. There's no mistaking it." Makarov said. "I was thinking it's time actually."
"Time for what?" Levi asked
"For you to enroll at Thors. You'll make plenty of friends there." Makarov said.
"Really?!" Levi look happy with joy.
"I figured it's time for you to make friends your age. And what better for a school. But he needs the paper works, correct?" Makarov said.
"Of course. Why don't I send you the Academy enrollment-"
"I apologize but we travel. So we don't have any mail address." Makarov interrupt
"Oh? But then… how will you receive and send the letter?" Olivert asked
"That's… true…" Levi look sad.
"No need to worry bout that. Just give me the letter. I will be in this location all day. But how long will it take to progress?" Makarov asked
"Well if you wish to do it now. It will take about 5 days." Olivert answered.
"Then let us get the paperwork done and then you can send it to your friend. I will wait here when the time has arrived." Makarov said.
"Hoho. If you insect good sir." Olivert chuckled.
-5 days later-
Levi was training hardback in Nord as he continue fighting strong monsters he summoned for battle. And then Makarov arrived and then Levi finish it off. Once that is done. Makarov open the letter.
"Dear Levi Sullivan. We are excited to inform you that your acceptance to Thors Military Academy." Makarov said.
"I got in!? YAAAY!" Levi cheered with excitement.
"Congratulations Levi!" A Hamster jump on the left shoulder of Levi.
"We know you can do it!" A slime cheered and appeared on Levi's other shoulder
"Thank you guys!" Levi smiled.
"This will be your uniform." Makarov pulled a red uniform. 'This Uniform is Class Vll.'
"Alright, thanks, Master!" Levi then took the Uniform and then awe at it.
"You will head to Hiemdallr train station and ride the train there leading to Trista. That is where the academy is. Remember what I told you when you're there." Makarov sternly said.
"Yes, of course." Levi smiled.
