The Galaxy King sailed across the dark depths of the Darkness Universe.

"Ugh...how creepy. I always get chills every time we visit this universe." Sunset said.

"It's kind of the MO of this place. Always someone shady running around." Kaito said.

"Didn't think we'd be back here again so soon." Simon said.

"Well the reports say they saw a strange building appear suddenly and...oh you gotta be…" Hope said as they saw a certain tower looming over them.

"The Tower of Infernity." Jexi said.

"Never in my wildest nightmares did I think we'd come here again." David said.

"You sure don't sound like you're looking forward to coming here." Zamazenta said.

"We faced over a 1000 floors of terrors just to reach the top of that death trap during the Inheritance War of the Flux Family." Lucy said.

"That, it was the last known location of Theodore Flux, thanks to him." Cheetah said motioning her tail towards David.

"So, obviously, a certain couple of people we ran into before are probably going to come down here to see if Theodore Flux is still there, and if he is, if he's still alive." David said.

"He fell into the depths of the Darkness Universe. Hardly anything that falls into them ever comes back." Onyx said.

"Yes, but the Flux Family have been known to be...pretty stubborn." Sachiko said. "We should know. We have a Flux Family member in our class."

"She's not wrong. The Flux Family are notorious for cheating death several times." Jexi said.

"Therefore, it would be too far-fetched to assume this case would be anything different. Esmeralda and Glacius would know that for a fact, having known Theodore personally, if what Esmeralda said was true." David said.

"You know, not everything is about your accomplishments. This is also where I came back to life." Theo said.

"Oh and look." Lan said, pointing to a large crater.

"It's...just a crater." Ty said.

"Yeah. This is where I tested my infernity deck against those New Universal Villains losers." Lan said. "Ah...good times."

"We know...we were part of your onslaught." Catra said.

"Oh yeah….ah….good times." Lan said.

"Grrr." Catra said, preparing to scratch him only for Adora to hold her back. "Someday...but not today."

"So, if this place was the final Leg of the Inheritance war, why is it still standing here?" Glimmer asked.

"The tower of Infernity existed long before Cretaceous took up residence in it and used it for his own ends." Onyx said.

"Yeah...though...they probably don't know about the underside." Lan said, looking around casually.

"Underside?" Jexi asked.

"Well...I only heard it from Arthur...but he once said that there are a few basement floors to the tower that his old man used for his special interests." Lan said.

"He may have been right on point." Mari said. "Right here on this...oh." she said seeing it was only the top side."

"Ha! It was super secret. No way it's gonna be on a map. So...how would you like me to show you the way in?" Lan asked, surprising them.

"You...know the way in?" Pikachu asked.

"Of course. How do you think Arthur caught up to everyone else so quickly? We took a shortcut." Lan said, hitting part of the wall to reveal a number panel.

"Whoa…" a number of them said.

"4653." Lan said inputting the code as the stairs inside the tower inverted and led down instead of up. Before they could even proceed inside, a hologram of Cretaceous soon appeared.

"Hello. If you are seeing this, it means you've managed to figure out the access to the floors below the tower. Below these floors are rooms I've dedicated to a number of my travels with my closest friends: Gold, Chikasu and Ginova. If you manage to reach the bottom level, I promise you, you will not leave empty handed. I will not tell you what I've left...but I encourage you to try." the hologram said before it vanished.

"Gold, Chikasu, and Ginova… If we remember right, those three are…" Luke started.

"Yes… Their fathers." Cheetah motioned to Jexi, David and Hope respectively.

"So...our fathers' histories...are down there too." Jexi said.

"My dad's past before who he was… I'll admit, I'm curious to know all I can about him." Hope said.

"Mostly cause you ran away from his mafia family group cause you wanted to live free yet ended up siding with another street gang?" Titanica asked.

"Hey, I was young and wild." Hope said.

"Weren't we all, at one point?" David asked.

"I'll admit, I'm kinda curious too." Jexi said.

"So are we." Ethox said. "So why dont we head down and see what we can learn about your dads?"

"Yeah. Let's go!" Oshawott said as they descended down the stairs, heading into the lower levels of the tower, unaware of the secrets hidden within.
