"So...this is it...the Life Universe." Chopper said as they were hovering over a vast city of pure white buildings and clean streets.

"More specifically, we're in Medic Central, the universe's capitol." Jet said. "The Life Universe has the most advanced medicine and healing than even the Future Universe and has a wide variety of treatments depending on ailments as well as drugs and vitamins to help if you have a lifelong ailment."

"This seems like the kind of place you can extend your studies of different fauna used for medicine and healing, Ginseng." Ace said.

"Uh...not sure if I should...I don't see too many apothecaries here." Ginseng said.

The ship soon touched down in the courtyard as they disembarked.

"Hard to believe a dungeon would be in a peaceful universe dedicated to healing like this." Ethox said.

"Always expect the unexpected, even in the most peaceful places. Though that is not the case he...whoa." Dhar said as they looked in the distance at an old and decrepit looking hospital.

"Yikes...that place looks abysmal." Noelle said. "It looks like it's falling apart at the seams."

"I think we should go and…" Ethox said.

"Whoa whoa...don't finish that sentence!" said a passing doctor. "You do not want to go in there."

"What? Why?" Jexi asked.

"Ah...you guys are probably tourists. Look...when this city started out, it had ten hospitals to start out with, each given the sacred healing techniques. While nine were doing well, that one however was cursed. Cause every single patient that's ever gone in there...never came out." the doctor said.

"W-wait, are you serious?" Kaito asked.

"Yeah. Accident, died on the operating table...you name it, it happened. After a year of being opened, the hospital closed down and was left standing as a reminder of how bad a medical facility can get if things are not taken seriously." the doctor said. "In fact, some people that sneak in there have claimed to see the spirits of the deceased patients walking around as if they were still alive."

"G-g-ghosts?!" Kaito asked fearfully.

"That sounds more like a hospital of death than a place to get fixed up." Usopp said.

"Oh it is." the doctor said.

"A cursed Hospital that no one's ever returned from?" Hope asked. "That sounds like something an Occult club would wanna explore."

"Yeah, it would…" Mark sighed. "Well, hospital of death or not, we still have to go in there."

"Let's go investigate then." Leviathan said.

"Will you be alright, Kaito?" Garr asked.

"Well, he's been hanging around me. It shouldn't be a problem." Leonora said.

"Uh...yeah….no worries about me and the...paranormal…" Kaito said.

"Boo!" Stoj said.

"Ah!" Kaito screamed as he ran right into the old hospital.

"Kaito, wait! That's…" David started. "Aw, damn it… Guess we gotta go after him."

"Sorry, couldn't help myself." Stoj said.

"It's okay Stoj, but you gotta remember to take it easy on the jumpscares with Kaito." Hope said.

"He's right. I still remember when I snuck up on Ishihara in the Dreamscape." Cheetah said.

"Me too. She almost gave me a heart attack. I had no idea what I was going to run into there." David said.

"Neither does Momota, which is why we have to go after him." Cheetah said.

Inside said hospital…

"Haa...haa...okay...think I finally outran it." Kaito said, catching his breath. "Now where am…" he said before looking around at the old and decrepit hall. "Crap. I'm in the hospital!" he said. "Okay...gotta stay calm. Maybe I can find a way…" he said before hearing a clacking sound as it slowly approached him. "Oh...it's too late."

"Are you all right?" asked a voice as a woman in a white lab coat approached him.

"Oh...I didn't realize there was anyone here." Kaito said.

"It's fine. No need to worry. My name is Dr. Lilac. I am...or rather was...the head of the Psychiatry department of this hospital before it closed." she said.

"A psychiatrist...that's the kind of doctor that deals with emotions and stuff right?" Kaito asked.

"Emotional and Behavioral disorders. Yes." she said.

"Hey...you think you could...help me with something?" Kaito asked.

"Of course." she said, leading him off.

Meanwhile in the main reception area, aka the entrance…

"Kaito? You in here?" Shuichi called out.

"Ugh...how far did that idiot run in here?" Maki pondered.

"Couldn't have been too far." David said. "Ugh… It's no good, I can't sense his aura in this place."

"Considering a number of people died here, it's no surprise. I can't even pick up a scent." Cheetah said.

"Hmm...according to the map, this place is divided into a number of divisions. We're going to have to slowly split up and try to find him." Erza said, looking to the hospital map.

"Seems like we don't have much of a choice." Totodile said as the groups slowly began to divide as they started to scope out the hospital.

However, none would expect the sort of things they will expect.
