"Wow. So this is the Old West?" Ethox asked as Hope's group was in an old style western village with a lot of wooden buildings. "It's pretty cool."

"Yeah...but things seem a bit too...calm." Gemini said before they heard gunfire in a nearby building. "What in…"

"Yee haw!" a voice called out as a man in a green poncho jumped out on a horse carrying a large bag of money. "Now that was the easiest job yet."

"Who is that?" Simon asked.

"You don't know? That wily mutt is Billy the Kid." one of the passersby said. "One of the most infamous desperados in town."

"No way." Simon said in slight surprise. "Though it does make sense since we're in the past."

"We should probably stop him, don't you think?" Ultra asked.

"I'm with Ultra, the mook might have what we're looking for." Nemo pointed out.

"Hey, let's not jump to conclusions here guys. Maybe this was supposed to…" Hope said as they saw the key dangling around the Kid's neck. "Or...we go after him and get that key."

"Good idea." Zebei said. "I think I can…"

Billy looked over his shoulder to see Zebei preparing to fire at him. "Well...looks like I got a little competition." he said before quickly drawing his gun as he fired rapidly, disarming Zebei. "Gonna take more than some fancy indian bow to trip up the fastest draw in the west."

"Whoa! He disarmed Zebei so fast!" Akane said.

"Billy the Kid was infamously known for his lightning fast Quickdraw. It earned him the name "Fastest Gun in the West". No ones quicker on the draw than him." Kendo said.

Billy reloaded his revolver. "So, I reckon you lot wanna catch me, huh? After my haul?"

"Actually, we just want that key you've got. If it means chasing you to get it, we're more than happy to do that." Hope said.

"Not a chance, hombre. This copper key is gonna be worth a lot to sell." Billy said. "You'll have to pry it off my dead body."

"Challenge accepted!" Megumin posed.

"Catch me if you can, partners! Yeeeee-HAW!" Billy then rode away on his horse.

"Catch that Cowboy!" Hope said as the three groups chased after him.

"Tanya, you're the fastest in the air, try to keep up with him from the sky!" Ethox said.

"You don't have to tell me twice!" Tanya said as she took to the air and sped after the outlaw.

"Quick as a hiccup, ain't ya blondie?" Billy the Kid said, firing at her with a few fanning shots.

The bullets, however, merely bounced off Tanya's shield. "Quicker and stronger than you by a mile. You're better off giving up." the major stated.

"Huh...some kind of magician, are ya? Well you got the defense but can you even shoot with those weak little girl arms of yours?" Billy asked.

In response, Tanya flashed a wicked grin. "I'll take that as an invitation." she said as she brought her gun to bear. "No need for a prayer with this one. One simple bullet to the head should be enough."

Before Tanya could pull the trigger though, the soldiers from before appeared and trained their guns on the both of them.

"Oh...brought your little buddies huh?" Billy said with a smirk. "Fine then…" he said, rapidly firing on the incoming soldiers, disarming them all.

"Oh those weren't mine. But you did do me a favor." Tanya said. "No bullets in that revolver means you can't counter me!" She said aiming her rifle at Billy's head.

"Going in for the kill shot huh? Well...go right ahead." Billy said, holding the key to his forehead. "I've left you a target. See...I get the feeling this thing is important to y'all. So...hope you don't mind me making it a little harder for ya to shoot."

"...Well, that's disappointing." Tanya said flatly.

"Aw, sorry to make it hard for-" Billy started before a gunshot rang out and Billy was flung off his horse.

"I had to shoot your heart instead." Tanya stated. "I hate doing that."

She flew down towards Billy as she collected the key before flying back to the others.

"I have the key." Tanya said. "Time to get going."

"Geez, that was brutal of you to do, Tanya." Hope said.

"Hey, you know you're talking to a girl who's been called by her world a Devil, right?" Ethox asked. "What did you expect?"

"Touche." Hope said. "I guess Billy didn't leave us much choice in the matter. But I hope we dont change history in any way or form by doing that."

"Like we care what happens here." Tanya said as a few of the serious ones were departing.

"Though...you were pretty clever yourself...Mr. the Kid." Mirror Match said.

"Hehehe...so you knew I was playin' possum huh?" Billy said.

"Wha?!" Ethox asked. "No way! Tanya shot you! In the heart, no less!"

"Yeah...she did shoot me there." Billy said, taking out a coin that had been in his shirt, an indent very apparent on it.

"A coin… you slipped it near your heart so it would act like a miniature shield." Hope said.

"Never hurts to be too careful, right? Reckon at least one of ya would've done the same thing if you were gettin' shot." Billy said. "Honestly, if she had been off by a few inches, I really would have bit the big one."

"I'm glad you're alive. And thanks for letting us have the key." Hope said.

"Don't mention it, partner." Billy the Kid said. "Now you go ahead and see what kinda treasure that there key opens. I'm good with what I've got."

Hope smiled as the rest of the group left. Billy the kid then got on his horse and in true western fashion, rode off into the sunset, profits with him.
