Dateline, August 29th.

The second day was here and we had left the manor to see the whole town now perfectly clear, we could even see the other side of the river and the castle itself. I was able to teleport and quickly return my cloak into my storage and hurry into bed. And here the next day is here. As we left, I notice Rean had something on his mind.
"Hey...I'm sorry for all the fuss I caused yesterday." Rean apologized.
"You really did." Laura replied. "However, you did what you did out of necessity, correct?"
"Yeah. Before yesterday, I'd never been able to recognize the truth behind my master's teachings. But crossing swords with your father, it was like I finally realized what he wanted me to understand all those years."
"I see. In that case, I won't criticize what you did. I can understand that feeling, struggling forward even in the face of adversity."
"Though, I'm quite curious." I replied as I look actually curious. "It dyes your hair… silver, or ash color… or something between those lines. And your eyes were red as blood. Or like the vampires from those novels. How did you manage to get a power like that?"
"Years ago, I first asked my master to teach me the way of the sword in order to suppress that power." Rean answered. "I thought that if I could master the art of fighting, I could master my fear and quell those instincts. But that did nothing to solve the underlying problem, and eventually, I ended up having my training discontinued. Pretty pathetic, huh?"
"No, not really. I understand." I said to Rean and then place my hand on his arms. "That power was overwhelming your mind right?"
"Yeah. It really was. When I first awaken it… I didn't have much control over it."
"You have done your best to suppress it to the best of your ability. Like I said yesterday, it did make you look like a beast. But that's okay. You don't have to keep that burden alone. Let us help you ease that burden. Starting by trusting in me. Trusting in us. Not only in secret. But to find a way to help you control it."
"Levi…" Rean was an awe
"He's right." Laura nodded
"It's a heavy burden. But I do agree with him." Jusis nodded.
"Yeah! And besides, not only you were super strong but super cool too!" Millium cheered.
"We're here for you Rean." Emma smiled
"Thanks Aidios… that means a lot to me. Honestly Levi. You really know how to make me feel more comfortable." Rean smiled
"Well, I think it's your influence that made it possible." I joke with a tease.
"So… does that mean you're willing to share about what else you're hiding?"
I blink.
"I'm rather curious about what Viscount said as well."
"Yes. As well as your true strength." Laura added
I sigh. "Okay, okay. IF we got the time. I will tell you… vaguely."
"Vaguely?" Rean look suspicious of me.
"Hey now. Don't give me that look." I nervous smile. "Aaaanyway. I will promise I will tell you and Group B eventually. If it something my master taught me is that it's dangerous to tell you in public and where walls have ears."
"Your master must be a really caution person isn't he?"
"Oh, you have no idea." I sighed. "Anyway, you're gonna tell Group B about it?"
"Yeah, I think I will." Rean replied. " But back to you though…I feel like everyone's been worried you after what at the old schoolhouse last month."
"Oh, that…" I rubbed my head. "Anyways, let's get our tasks for today."
We went to the guild and Toval gave us the tasks...well, one task for today.
"Another monster extermination on the highway?" I asked.
"Well, at least it shouldn't take long." Jusis said.
"Okay, let's roll on out!" Millium added.

And then so we begin to head out from the guild and then Rean, and Laura met a familiar face. Her name is Annebelle. After the nice reunion with her. We head back to do our task.
We then moved on and crossed one more bridge before we saw the giant, mechanical monster…
"What the? What type of monster is this? A mechanical one?" I asked. I don't sense any life from it.
"Hmm, kinda looks more like some sort of machine." Millium answered.
"I suppose that's why we've been sent to exterminate it." Laura said. "At this point, we can't just go back without finishing the job."
"Yeah, I'd say we see what this monster is made of." Rean added. "On your guard everyone."

The battle started and I felt like I could take on this mechanical might without a sweat. I cast a few arts which I hadn't done for a while. Laura, Jusis and Millium done most of the physical damage onto it as it shoot bullets at us as we dodge and counter. Emma launch her Arts and then Rean finished it off with a craft skill. This battle was over before the monster even had the chance to deal major damage to us.

"So it is just a machine. But what's a machine doing out here?." I asked
"I don't know. Let's head back to Legram." Rean advised. "I have a feeling Toval will want to hear about this as soon as possible."
"True, he may even know about it himself." Laura nodded. "Back to Legram it is, then."
We traveled back to the town, only to then notice a ship at the dock we hadn't seen before.

"Hey, are those Provencial from the provincial army?"I asked
"It sure seems that way." Emma answered.
"Purple and white." Rean said. "Those were the ones the soldiers Heimdallr were wearing."
"I believe they're part of the Lamare provincial army." Jusis added.
"But Lamare is on the otherside of the Empire." Laura stated. "What business could their provincial army have in Legram?
"Hey, looks like you got back in time." A voice said and reveal to be Toval.
"Oh, Toval, you know what's going on here?" I asked.
"Word on the streets is, they requisitioned the liner from the wharf on the far shore. So why we're seeing the Lamare's Provincial Army and not Sutherland's is still kind of a mystery. Apparently, though, some big shot noble is visiting the viscount as we speak." He answered.
"Another noble visiting father?" Laura asked.
So some noble did this? Hmm... why do I get the feeling it's going to be one of those detestable types.
Toval hummed. "Well, if you're curious, why don't you go take a look for yourselves? Since you returned from the highways, that means you took care of that monster, right?"
"We did." I responded. "However, this one we need to talk to you about. This 'monster' was actually just a metal machine."
"A mechanical monster, you say..." Tovel said as he lost in thoughts.
"Do you know something about it?"
"Well, I'm not sure. But I think I'll go have a look at what's left of it, just in case. Anyway, Good job out there, guys. Here's your reward." Toval said as he gave us the reward. "I'll leave checking out what's going on at the viscount's mansion to you." and then left the town and the task was done.
Now we had spare time so we went over to Laura's house, when we entered, we could see five people nearly at the top of the stairs. I could see Viscount and Klaus, but the other three, I had not seen them before. One who is a buff type and the other is slim. The three men came down the stairs and saw us.
"My, if it isn't young Laura." The man in front said, he looked royally well dressed. "And Jusis Albarea, too."
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Your Grace." Laura replied.
"I appreciate all you continue to do for my father." Jusis said.
"Who dis?" I whispered.
"That's Duke Cayenne, head of the foremost of the Four Great Houses and ruler of the Port City of Ordis." Rean whispered back. "His authority extended over the entire province of Lamare to the west."
A duke huh? And Cayenne huh. I better keep an eye on him. There is something dark about this man.
"I'd love to stay and talk a while, but I'm afraid other urgent matter call me away." Duke said. "I'll endeavor to arrange another opportunity for us to meet in the near future. But for now, I bid you farewell."
Duke left along with the two men who looked at us before leaving as well.
'Who are those two and why were they curious to look at us? I can sense they're strong too.'
"Oh? What have we here?" The guy with sunglasses replied. "So you're Thors Military Academy's Class Vll, huh?"
That surprised us. That's suspscious.
"How do you know about us?" I asked
"Oh, just happened to do a little leisure-time reading on your class. Not a bad-lookin bunch. Good, good."
"Why we thank you for the praise. But I'm still rather curious to know how though."
'Levi.' Rean whisper to me.
'Not now, Rean.'
"You said something unnecessary again. Enough with the chitchat. His Grace awaits." the Beef guy replied. "Excuse us."
"See ya, kids." The sunglasses guy replied.
Okay, that is way too suspicious. Who are they? Are they bodyguards to that duke? If so, how did they know about our class? We end up talking to the Viscount. It seems this duke was here to request him to join the Noble Faction. But Viscount refused and want to stay natural since there is a conflict going on between the two fractions. Plus there was also something else. Many nobles from their fraction had disappeared. My work as an Arbiter. Some day it's the work of the Reformed faction but there was no proof. Hmm... something tells me that duke is planning something. Not to mention that Duke Cayenne and Duke ALbarea are fighting for the lead of the Four Great Houses. I'm glad to hear Rean's family will be more distant from the two fractions. And Viscount Arseid seems to be having some idea and will be away again. Next when Tovel join in. Reported that Rufus, Jusis brother was here, escorting Duke Cayenne. which was a surprise to Jusis.

it was late afternoon and we had finished the last of our reports as well as filed some of the paperwork for Toval. We each put the effort in...well, apart from Millium who fell asleep on one of the sofas after finishing her report. We were discussing the guild when a girl rushed in.
"Excuse me, is anyone here?" She asked.
"Oh, you're the girl who works at Watteau's store, aren't you?" Laura responded.
"Oh, Lady Laura. Is Toval here by any chance?"
"I'm afraid he's out for the rest of the day, is this an emergency?" I asked.
"Th-They haven't come home... Julian and Karno still haven't come back home from the castle!"
This made us blink.
"Wait, you don't mean." Emma said.
"Did those two go to Lohengrin Castle?!" Laura asked. "Surely you don't mean to suggest that took a boat without any supervision?!"

"I-I'm afraid so." The girl replied. "They said something about going on an adventure, then they took one of the boats without even asking. It's evening now, and they still haven't come back!"
"That sounds like a serious problem." Jusis said.
"Yeah, and right when Tovel is away from the guild, too…" Rean added. "We'll just have to do whatever we can to help out."
"Yeah. We can't just stand here and hope they get back either." I added.
This is also a chance for me to investigate the castle.
"If we're to search the lake, we'll need a boat ourselves." Laura replied. "I'll have Klaus prepare one for us at once."
"While you do that, I'll wake up Millium and we'll have another look around the town to see if we can find them." Emma replied
"Splitting up and searching the town does seem to be the best course of action." Jusis nodded
We left the guild and had a search around the town just in case, but there was no such luck. By the time a boat was ready for us, the nighttime had arrived. We walked to the docks part and saw Klaus with a boat, the six of us got on one and made our way over to the castle.

"What do you think's waiting for us inside the castle?" Millium asked
"If I had to guess. I say like historical sight." I replied.
"Levi, don't answer her question." Jusis sighed. "You passed out on the couch the moment we returned to the guild, but now you're simply popping with energy."
"Millium, you know this isn't a game, right?" Rean asked
"I know I know. But as long as Lammy's with us, there's nothing to worry about. Let's just grab those kids so we can go exploring!"
"Millium, you really REALLY need to read the situation at hand." I sighed. "We're not going to explore, end of story."
However, I sense strong higher elements from the distance. And then a Bell ring.
"Did you guys hear a bell?" Rean asked
"Yeah. I heard it loud and clear." I answered. "Look. It's coming from the castle."
"Well… Lohengrin Castle does have a bell tower… But as far as I am aware, access to it had been sealed off." Laura replied
"U-Umm… then who's ringing it?" Millium look scared.
Wait, for real? She's scared?
"I don't know… but we better be vigilant." I advised
"A bell tolling at night in the old stronghold of the Eisenritter... We'd best be prepared for anything." Jusis added
"We're almost there. Let's make sure we're prepared before we head ashore." Rean nodded
We soon arrived and then docked at a small dock. We got off the boat and noticed a second boat.
"We're here, I also see another boat." I said. " That means the children are still here. They might be inside."
"It's well past sundown now We need to find them as soon as we can." Emma added.
Yeah." I nodded then we turn to the path. "And that's the only way up to the castle. Since it's dark. Be careful and watch your footing."
We carefully begin to walk up to the castle.
"So this is St. Sandlot's old stronghold, Lohengrim Castle." Rean said.
"This is the first time I've come here at night. Be careful of your footing." Laura advised.
As we made our way through. We see the castle glowing.
"Whoa! What's that?" Millium asked.
"Something's strange about the castle." Jusis replied.
"Yeah. That glow isn't coming from the moonlight. Be very careful." I advised the group.
We made our way up the hill until we reached the entrance, the castle itself was glowing. I sense strong higher elements are activate here… Not only that… I sense a dark presence within the castle… And two presence somewhere in the castle too.
"So this is Lohengrin castle." Rean said.
"The ancient stronghold of St. Sandlot, gathering place of the warriors of old." Jusis nodded. "It looks even more beautiful up close."
"Yeah but what's up with that weird glow!?" Millium asked
"I've been here several times before, but I've never seen it like this." Laura replied.
"This glow… no doubt about it. I can feel an unusual presence." I said.
"Yeah, I feel it too." Rean agreed. "Like something is writhing around inside."
"Wait! What kind of something?" Millium asked with slight worry.
Yeah… master was right. This castle is connected to the Septium Veins. Since it was built by 'them'. Not only that. I sense the presence of the dead. That means that the Spiritual world is disturbed. Maybe that's why the castle bell ring… and I knew something wasn't right about the fog around here. The fog was generated within this castle.
"Levi?" Rean called out to me.
"Sorry. I was busy noticing something." I answered.
"What is it?"
"That this is no ordinary castle." I replied. "Somewhere within this very castle is the source of many supernatural events. Like the Fogs for instruct."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Be on your guard."

We went inside and the moment we stood in, the door suddenly shut behind us. Rean tried to open it but it won't budge.
"Did the door just… seal itself shut on its own?" Laura asked in shock but concern.
"Y-You stupid door!" Then she summoner her combat shell. But then I notice something from all over the castle and the door.
"Wait Millium-"
"Lammy! Burst it open!"
but a magical circle appeared preventing the door form being harm. I knew it. There's magic involved.
"Well… that was unexpected." Jusis said.
"Noooooo…" Millium knees collapse.
I sighed. "I knew it."
"What is it, Levi?" Rean turn to me.
Craaap. I said that out loud… Well… have to be vague in some way.
"There's a barrier in place. That strange symbol we all just saw was a strong magical barrier."
"How would you know something like that, Levi?"
"Let's just say I experience something similar like this."
"Come to think of it, this isn't the first time you've reacted strangely to usual phenomena." Jusis said.
"Jusis has a point. Are you from the church?" Rean asked
"Nope." I answered honestly. And now I screw that up.
"If not… then how do you know something like this?"
"Just who are you, really?" Laura added
I sighed. Then the bell rang. And I sense undead presence coming.
"We got company. To the left and the right!" I respond
Then a pair of monsters arrived. They looked like skeleton heads with horns. We got into a quick battle and wiped them out easily.
"Well, that was easy." I boasted. "Though if I were to hazard a guess as to what they were, perhaps they're haunted spirits that have roamed the castle for a very long time. Or Fiends. Not only that. The higher elements are present within the castle as well."
"Tch, this place seems to be even more dangerous than we could have anticipated." Jusis pondered. "And as long as that barrier remains in place, so will we. We're going to need to search for a way out."
"So… Levi… during your training… did you develop a sense sixth?" Emma asked
"Yeah. I can sense something out of the ordinary."
"Alright, Levi. It looks like we're going to need to rely on this sixth sense of yours in order to navigate this castle safely." Rean said. "You don't have to tell us anything if you're not comfortable, but right now, our safety is in your hands. Can we count on you?"
"Of course."
"Alright. Then time is of the essence." Laura said. "With fiends like those roaming the castle, I'm even more worried about the children."
Millium was a little scared, but Rean, Laura and Jusis walked with her. While we walk. I suddenly felt a very strong presence as I stop and look around. But no one is there.
"Levi, what's wrong?" Rean ask as he and everyone notice.
"I thought… I thought I sense someone was watching us just now." I answered.
"Someone was watching us?"
"You don't think…" Laura look at the group.
"Then someone must be observing us from the shadows… could they be responsible?" Emma wondered
"Now we're even more on guard. Let's go." I said.
(? POV)
I watch from above hiding my presence as I was floating in the ceiling.
'My my. His senses are impressive. I'm glad that Makarov train him well.' then I look at the left. 'However. It seems I'm not the only one who's here. At least… someone is going to be here soon.'
(Levi POV)
We began exploring the castle from the main entrance hall and up the stairs, the exploration would be so much nicer, if we didn't have to put up with spooky-type monsters like floating skeletons, moving swords and walking armors. We traveled to the right wing but there's a barrier in place. I could use my magic but I can't. But there should be a 'Key' somewhere. We then head to the left ring and then explore down and take out more undead forces. Then we eventually found a glowing orb.
"Ah, here it is." I said.
"You think this is what we're looking for?" Rean asked
"Indeed. I suspect this orb will dispel the barrier on the door to the castle of the east ring." Emma nodded
"Yeah. I agree." I nodded.
Then Rean grab the orb but we all noticed something else. There's the very same door back in the Old Schoolhouse. We have gotten close to the door and tried to open it but it won't let them. In addiction to that. There are no children are In there or anywhere. This castle and the Old schoolhouse are connected. If I remember right from Master's lost knowledge history. This should be where Argreion is. And in the Old Schoolhouse... it must be Valimar. We traveled to the right-wing of the castle and to an outdoor hallway and use the orb to break the barrier. We went to the right and opened the door to see a staircase and something immediately caught our eye. Four floating skeletons moving towards the kids.
"Hey, are those the kids we're looking for?" I asked.
"This isn't good." Laura added. "Stand back!"
She rushed to the children and knocked the monsters aside whilst the rest of us joined in to protect the kids, the battle started and we kicked their skeleton skulls in. We turned our attention to the two boys when the coast was clear.
"You kids alright?" I asked.
"You're not hurt are you?" Emma added.
"No, we're okay." One of the boys replied.
"That was so cool!" The other boy added.
Sadly for the boys, They end up getting scolded. Ahh brings back when Master scold me like that. However… I just did sense something on the top. And it seems Emma notice it too.
"Hey guys." I look up. "I just sense something coming from the top."
"What did you sense?" Emma asked
"It's a mysterious energy. Like supernatural energy like a wellspring."
"What?" Jusis asked
"That's about the only clue we have to go on right now, so we might as well go up and take a look around." Rean said.
I swear. I really wanted to tell them but I can't exactly break my promise to my master. Back to the topic. It's best to take the kids had to come along with us until we could find another exit.
When we walked up the staircase and to the top, I began to feel a very strong and dark presence nearby. I suddenly had to stop and be on my guard.
"Are you okay, Levi?" Rean asked.
I turn to Rean as he notice my surprised and on-guard look. "Sorry. I'm fine… I just had a feeling of something very powerful that's waiting at the end of this."
"In that case, we better be fully prepared for what's waiting."
We entered an outdoor hallway and there was no more floors to go up, this was the top floor. We took a left at the end and then entered a large circle room. At the far end was a spinning giant orb with various symbols around it.
"What is that?" Jusis asked.
"There's a cold pale light flickering inside of it…" Laura replied
"I definitely sense some kind of power coming from it." Rean said. "Is this some kind of source of energy?"
"There's no doubt about it." Emma answered. "I suspect this orb is the cause of all the strange things going on in this castle."
"Let's find a way to destroy it. I bet everything will return to normal if we do" I nodded
"All right! Just leave it to me!" Millium exclaimed.
But before she could call for Lammy, a very dark presence was beginning to appear from the orb.
"Wait! Something coming!" I exclaimed as I grab my Glaive.
I stood back and in a moment of brightness, we now saw a giant priest with a small head and a giant body, holding a staff as well. That must be the one in charge around here.

"A Nosferatu?!" Emma asked in surprise. "How could it manifest something like that in the real world?"
"It's on a completely different level than the foes we'ev encountered so far." Laura replied."Julian, Karno, get behind us!"
The two boys ran back.
"There's no way we can afford to lose here." Rean said. "Let's give it everything we've got!"
The battle started and I had linked with Emma for this one. We gave it as much as we could against it. We all begin to land strong blows on the Nosferatu. Laura and Rean charge in and then strike as Jusis was casting Arts onto it. And then I used Craft Tornado Dance on it and then the Nosferatu launched a strong attack onto us and then push us back. As Rean launched a shockwave onto it. Jusis land some jab attack onto It and then I cast my Arts on it and it push it back. Emma use her Arts and I follow up attack. It's a lot tougher than it looks as it tried to suck us in. But we counter it and be careful around it too. It begin to summoned minions as it roared and then I drag them all using Supercell Plunger and then launch a twice attack on them and then Rean use the advantage and landed some powerful blows onto the minions and kill them. The Nosferatu begin to cast an art but Jusis managed to cancel it as Laura use her powerful swing slash combo strike on it. Soon I landed a critical blow. It spawn minions again and then Emma used her S craft and it wiped out all of its minions one shot and severely weakened the undead priest. I use my S Craft and then it explode into purple light. The battle was over.
"What a terrifying opponent." Laura muttered
"Wait… something feels wrong." I alerted everyone. But then I felt another extremely powerful presence coming from the entrance to the bell tower. I jump back because I sense a supernatural attack. It paralyzes Rean, Laura, Millium and Emma. "Guys!"
"Ugh, damnit!" Rean struggle to move.
"How could I have been so careless? I had no idea it had this much power left…" Emma groan.
"Looks like I got no choice!" Rean struggle to get up and then he's going to unleash his Orge power.
(BGM ended)
"Wait, Rean!" I exclaimed as I was going to help them. But suddenly I sense an attack coming from the Belltower entrance. Then I saw glowing sphere pierce through the barrier and the orb. The orb then shattered and the power went towards presence at the entrance at the Belltower. The person absorb it but I notice it was a female. Wait… that armor design… I seen it before. "Wait!" I then jump and then zoom to the entrance of the belltower where she was. By the time I reach there. She was gone. "Huh? Where did she go? How did she disappeared? Did she teleport with ma-" But then I look up and then saw that black cat. "You…" I glared at the cat but then I notice my friends are coming.
(? POV)
I watch as Arianrhod teleported away from her castle as she watch from the distance.
"It seems I made it out on time. I was not expecting a Nosferatu to take complete control of my once formal home. Still. I am glad I decided to visit my old castle. I'm glad I was able to rescue the children in time. And… Especially for him. Still… that blue hair young woman… hehe… how interesting. I'm looking forward to her potential. Still… that silver hair young man… no doubtfully. He was the same mysterious boy back then. The one I sense with mysterious powers. It seem he had notice me entering my castle. And tried to see me. Alas. I would love to question him. But it would draw suspicion if I drag him for my own questioning. But if fate permitted. I would see him again." Arianrhod said while staring at her castle.
"Which I had a feeling you might." I said.
Arianrhod gasp and draw her lance as she turn to me.
"Who's there?!" She asked as she saw me.
"Hehe." I couldn't help but chuckled. "Someone on high alert. Though I suppose I don't exactly blame you since I did appeared out of nowhere."
"Who are you… How did I not sense your presence?" Arianrhod asked me in depend. But judging from the look in her eye. She notice something. "Wait… this presence…"
I shrug. "I shouldn't be surprised that you would sense it. Then again I didn't even hide it." Then I smile and place my hands on my hip. "It's a pleasure to meet you Arianrhod, the Steel Maiden of Ouroboros. No… perhaps I should say Lianne Sandlot, Awakener of the Aregent Divine Knight Argreion."
While she did look shocked of how I know. She charge at me with full speed but I stop her progress as I hold the tip of her lance. I sighed."Would you mind putting this away?" I touch her lance with the tip of my fingertip and then the whole lance shattered as she gasp. "Oh boy. I shattered your lance." I use Restore with my magic and then Arianrhod lance was repaired back to what it once was. She pick it up and see I fix it.
"How did you do it? Who exactly are you? Are you the same as the Silver hair boy and the Grandmaster?"
I blink. "No. If you notice. My presence is far superior to your Grandmaster. As for the Silver hair boy. Yes. But I'm from a higher standing. And want to know who I am… in due time. I do apologize for scaring you. But I couldn't help but notice that you were interested in the Silver hair boy. May I ask why you are interested in him."
She doesn't appeared to give me an answer.
"Let me guess… It was for the Phantasma Blaze Plan?" I eyebrow.
She closer her eye.
I sigh as I shake my head. "You're a silent one aren't you?"
"I see… so that explains what the Grandmaster was concern about. You."
I notice Arianrhod starting to speak.
"Oh? So She notice me, hmm?" I asked
"Although I can't be for certain. But she did sense a radiant power suddenly enter into this world. A power unlike she sense before. One could say this power may even repel. And it came within the Silver hair boy."
"Ah. And you reported this to your Grandmaster, haven't you?" I cross my arm.
"Indeed. The Grandmaster was curious about this sudden power appearing out of nowhere. And believe to be a boon. However, when I first met the child back then, I notice some radiant within him.
