"It seems as though the night is still." said a figure dressed in black.
"I agree. The perfect chance for ninja like us." said a small blue frog creature. "So what of that key?"
"Hmm...hard to say." the figure said looking at an oriental looking key. "Maybe we take it to one of the lords. Perhaps they know its purpose."
"Perhaps but...wait…" the frog said as someone jumped onto the roof.
"Or you could give it to us. Just saying." Sachiko said.
"Whoa...a Froakie...guess Pokémon can appear in all ages." Riolu said joining her.
"We've been discovered. Saizo, take the key!" Froakie said as the figure ran off. "You novice ninja will never upend the Sanada clan!"
"Sanada clan. Then… Ah, that makes a lot more sense now. There is a ninja in service of the Sanada known as Sasuke Sarutobi." Sachiko said.
"Actually...there was another. One fabled to be one of the Sanada ten braves." Mayumi said joining her. " Kirigakure Saizo."
"You will not go after Lord Saizo...I forbid it." Froakie said as he started blowing bubbles at them.
"Bubble...well...all right." Riolu said, focusing some energy into his palms. "Focus Blast!" he called out, landing a direct hit on Froakie.
"No!" Saizo called out as he returned.
"We don't want to cause any trouble...we really just want the key." Riolu said.
"Please. All we want is the key. There's no need for things to get crazy." Mayumi said.
"Which clan are you with?" Saizo demanded.
"Uh...the...Clan of the...Heroic?" Riolu said.
"Hmm...I am not familiar with such a clan. Foreigners perhaps?" Saizo asked.
"Something like that." Sachiko said. "I'm Sachiko Yukimura, and these are my associates, Mayumi Kirishima and Riolu."
"We're envoys who have come in search of that key. See...it holds the difference between life and death for our entire clan." Riolu said.
"I see...that does sound rather important." Froakie said.
"Perhaps...this key does not seem to serve much benefit to the Sanada clan." Saizo said as they heard gunshots.
"Uh oh….looks like they found us." Riolu said seeing soldiers marching towards the building they stood on.
"Man, these guys are so persistent." Mayumi said.
"So these are your enemies. Interesting." Saizo said before tossing them the key. "Go...I shall cover you."
"Thank you. You have our gratitude." Sachiko said.
"I shall make sure you all make it to safety." Froakie said as they quickly departed.
"Now then...those who try to threaten the Sanada Clan...shall have a date with death tonight." Saizo said, drawing multiple shuriken as he jumped down into the fray.
